Such a good time

Had plenty of sangria and food! An experience definitely worth buying. Went solo and had no problems because everyone was so friendly and the activities were engaging. The chef gave great practical tips for the future.

Fantastic tour!

This was so fun! Alberto and Hugo are amazing and we had so much to drink and eat and now can make wonderful Paella at home. Amazing seeing the old market as well. Best tour ever!

Amazing! Must do experience!

The paella class was fun, informative, and tasty! My boyfriend and I went on our last night in Barcelona. Our class was us and one other couple. The chef did a great job of making the experience memorable and fun. My boyfriend and I both agreed it was our favorite activity we did in Barcelona!

You will learn to prepare seafood like a chef. Cook a quality meal with family and friends and make new friends. Leave this experience feeling like you had your moneys worth.

Phenomenal

We truly loved this class! We made (really great) Paella as a group after a visit to the local market with our chef. We learned, ate, laughed and participated. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

It was an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to visit La Boqueria, make sangria, and learn the traditional way to make paella. Best paella we had in all of Spain!

Hugo is the best cooking teacher!

Hugo gave us an amazing cooking class! He is knowledgeable, personable and fun! This was our first time in Barcelona, and Hugo gave our family memories we will always cherish in our cooking class. (And the paella was delicious!)

Wonderful

The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Hugo was a wonderful teacher and great chef. We came with my family of 4 (two teenagers) and we all had a lot of fun. I cannot wait to make paella at home! This was a great experience!

Great option if wanting to go to a paella class

We really e joyed walking to the nearby market, picking out our seafood and the learning to cook the paella. Also had Sangria and an appetizer. Very nice chef...Gabriel.

Phenomenal paella and cooking experience

The class and instructors were fantastic! I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone visiting Barcelona. The environment was fun and energetic and our instructors, Lola and Hugo, taught us about the history and background of the dish and led us in each step as we made a delicious dinner. They were very accommodating of everyone's dietary restrictions and food preferences and made sure everyone was having a great time.

Real Paella, like real real.

The tour was amazing! The paella came out absolutely wonderful. Sangria was goals! Do the tour with Simon. Totally recommend this tour.

Great way to start your vacation.

This is an extremely well organized operation. Our Chef/Guide’s name was Simon and he was fantastic at explaining and demonstrating the entire process for creating a wonderful paella. There are lots of subtle details so pay close attention. The tour through the market will really help you with later visits on your own.

Everything about this class was fantastic. Simon was so knowledgeable on all proper techniques for traditional spanish cooking and he kept us entertained while also being informative. The finalized dish was AMAZING. We would take this class again!

Fantastic Cooking Class Experience in Barcelona

My husband and I had the most incredible experience at a cooking class in Barcelona, Spain. From start to finish, it was a five-star adventure that exceeded all our expectations. We were joined by 8 other lovely individuals, all fellow Americans, making the atmosphere warm and friendly right from the beginning. The facility was immaculate, and we were impressed by the emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene. Handwashing was encouraged regularly, which made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the class. Under the guidance of Chef Albero, we embarked on a culinary journey that was both educational and entertaining. From cleaning fresh seafood to chopping ingredients and baking desserts and Sangria, every step was hands-on and enjoyable. Chef Albero's expertise and sense of humor made the class an absolute joy. Despite my initial concerns about interacting with strangers and sharing food, the group dynamics were perfect. Everyone respected each other's space, kept things tidy, and made the experience even more delightful. I can't put into words how amazing this cooking class was. It was truly the best excursion we've ever had. If you're in Barcelona and looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this cooking class. Thank you to Chef Albero and the team for a memorable day filled with delicious food and wonderful memories. Five stars all the way!

Alberto and Paloma were FABULOUS! You can not ask for a more welcoming and fun hosts. They were so informative and helpful throughout the course. It was a great class and I cannot recommend it enough!

How to make a proper paella

This cooking class was the best . It was fun and interesting, and we learned things about sea food we didn't know. Hugo and Kim were the best. Did I mention that we made a great sangria too.

Hugo and Kim were fantastic! So glad We did this:) we did have a little trouble finding the location.Look halfway down the alley, signs are painted on the door and above .

Great and delicious event

Simon and this experience were simply one of the best things we did in Barca. Simon made us feel like we were in his home, all the while learning, laughing and eating and drinking plenty! We had not only the Paella but some tapas to start and finished with a tasty desert. Simon also took us to the market to pick out the seafood which was very interesting and fun. My wife enjoyed a chicken version too. Highly reccomend this experience!

Very engaging time. Enjoyed the visit to the market and education regarding picking out seafood. Very hands on cooking with instructions. Paella and Sangria was amazing. Great time and highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience

We had a wonderful time. The sangria, tapas and of course paella was so good. It was authentic. Learned how to clean and properly cut squid (even found anchovies inside the squids!). Everyone got to take part and there was plenty of food for everyone. It was a great group of people from all over the world-Japan, UK, Hawaii, New York, etc. I would highly recommend

Amazing class! Had tons of fun with the family. We also went on a walk to La Boqueria and I learned a lot about picking fresh sea food. Definitely a most do if you are in Barcelona!

Great paella class!

My husband and I attended the paella class with Chef Simon and Kim. Simon was very knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining throughout the whole class. My husband already cooks a mean paella, but has now learned some new techniques. The paella we cooked was very yummy, and it was a great overall experience! We would definitely recommend it!

Paloma is amazing!

Paloma was wonderful. She had a great energy and we really learned a lot! We will try to make paella- but it won’t be as fun!

So much fun!

This was so much fun for me and my teenage daughter! Simon was delightful and a fantastic guide and chef. I highly recommend this “excursion”. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Very fun, informative, hands on class in paella making. Simon was a wonderful and laid back instructor, expert chef. He had to deal with quite a range of personalities and abilities in our group, and he did so with aplomb. I learned so much! Cannot wait to get home and make paella!! Highly recommend this class!

A must do in Barcelona

First time doing a cooking class in another country and this blew my mind. The whole experience was amazing. We got to meet people from different places, participate in make paella and enjoyed a great evening. There’s something about working together on a common goal that brings people together. Truly inspiring evening and I got to learn a different way of making paella.
