Wonderful Museum

Surprisingly good museum. Collection is somewhat limited but is excellently presented. Definitely worth a visit. Best to purchase tickets in advance.

Museum in Spain could also just meen a gallery

Museum in Spain could also meen a gallery. So commuting especially and paying 15 Euro to watch some 30 art pieces is outrageous IMO and a hoax, but that is true for most so called "museums" in Barcelona. The National Gallery, the Louvre, Moma and the Mat. These are museums. But if you don't mind all that, well, the works on display were worthwhile and interesting.

Great modern art in Barcelona

I really enjoyed The Moco Museum. Some very interesting and thought provoking pieces. I would have given five stars but I thought it was a little short. We spent about 90 minutes looking at the exhibits.

Great experience for modern art lovers 🥰

All pieces are very good, and the museum is very well kept. But I was expecting it to be a little bigger given the price of the ticket, so take that into consideration and adapt the expectations.

Nice tour

It was absolutely amazing! You can spend hours there and do not see time pass by. Also, all the staff were very very kind..

A walk around a clean contemporary museum with so much to talk in. Motion visuals as well as all other still media

So inspiring, had an amazing look around. The gift and book store at the end just topped it off and I was so excited to look through everything after being immersed in all the art.

One of a Kind

Outstanding and stunning. Other comments are correct that is on the smaller side, but the curation is so on point. Every piece works the space and surrounding pieces. Highly recommend you take your time as you work through it to really take it all in. I would love to see this grow globally.

Organized and modern museum and great curation. Great cost and benefit. I loved the artists and the rooms, especially the immersive experience at Studio Irma.

Interesting an enriching visit

Very interesting small museum. Explanation of exhibits were very easy in English, great experience and a beautiful site in the middle of Born old quarter

What a gem of a gallery. We spent far longer there than we expected. In art we trust! Very thought provoking and new ideas such as NFT art.

Banksy and more

Rafael was super helpful in explaining the perks of the museum. If you enjoy modern art and the new wave pop culture influences over the last 20 years or so, you will appreciate the works in this collection! Seeing some of Banksy’s pieces was the highlight of my visit.

Moco a modern art place where all should go

Positive messages spread across the museum. Nice souvenirs to shop with friendly and helpful staff, especially Rodri!

Wonderful experience

This was a small but really well curated museum. I had to stop my self taking photos of every exhibit! Some very well known artists, local and lesser known pieces but every one thought provoking. Well worth a visit

Ask for Carmen if you need anything

Very good and interesting exhibition, they had everything from Warhol to Banksy. Carmen who works there was the best, super friendly and helpful!!

Love me some Moco!

Having visited Moco Museum Amsterdam last year and loved it, Moco Museum Barcelona was on the list for the Barcelona trip. What we didn’t know was that it was just a few meters away from the Picasso Museum. So after our timed visit to the PM we looped back to the Moco. While smaller than its Amsterdam counterpart, Moco Museum Barcelona is a must-see for anyone interested in works by contemporary artists like KAWS, Murakami, and Kusama, in addition to artists seeking to drive social change like Banksy and The Kid. The Moco is not your typical museum and is wonderfully unique! Step away from the crowds and cathedrals and pay the Moco a visit! Lastly, we want to give a shout out to the staff at Moco Museum Barcelona, especially Rafael, for being so friendly and welcoming!

Amazing

Went at 8pm and it was perfect. No crowds and you can get all the pictures you want! Booked ahead of time. One of the best museums I’ve been to.

1 hour well spent

The mirrored room with the colour changing lights was lovely. The digital animation was new and exciting

More women / diversity please

The art was good and thought provoking but they were mostly male artists and that was sad 😔 There were more books about women in art in the shop than there were in the Gallery

Wow - lovin the moco

The museum has a perfect mix of modern art from so many different artists, from the flaming woman by Dali to the digital age. I was blown away in every room!

A perfect space with defining art.

Visited this incredible space after searching for galleries on our 5 day trip to Barcelona. I am into modern art, graffiti and street art, my wife more the classics. We can safely say, Moco was the best gallery we have visited. Some are so big, slightly stuffy and for me, not relevant whereas Moco ticks all the boxes. Easy to find, we pre booked tickets, again simple and cheap. We actually went back three times to go to shop and saw no queues. It’s compact but airy and spacious, great tunes soundtracking the visit and the most interesting and well curated artwork from some of the best. The best and will definitely be back, in fact we have talked about visiting Amsterdam as there is a Moco there. Thank you

Amazing Museum fabulous bike tour

An excellent eye opening collection. Took the museums cycle tour of Barcelona Street art a few days later it was tremendous fun, Our guide was friendly helpful and informative. I would recommend her and the tour to anyone.

A must do

A really nice contemporary museum, would definitely recommend, I loved every single art pièces (Banksy, Kaws, etc...). I also discovered other artists so even better!

Nice view of modern art pieces with excellent history as to how they were created!

Very nice experience. You can download audio link that provides excellent information about museum and individual artwork. Learning the history behind the artwork definitely added to the experience. Not your typical museum. One of a kind pieces on exhibit - nice quick museum experience.

Great alternative to the tourism behemoths in this wonderful city of Barcelona. What a place! The entire family was pleased with what they found there.

Very enjoyable museum, possibly a little expensive.

Really fun museum. People complained it was small, we found it a perfect size. Probably not "the one museum you will ever want to see in Barcelona", but if you are looking for something different - it's a good one to see! Also, they have an audioguide available through your phone, so good to bring headphones. Ah, and they do have a wifi if you don't want to waste your data.

An immaculate display of modern art, highly recommend. Loved the array of art at this museum and the wonderful gift shop.

Beautiful art gallery

Some beautiful prices of art, I particularly enjoyed the Banksy and Studio Irma's Interactive Art. Being in the Gothic Quarter is is down an large busy alleyway but not hard to find. Obviously there is no vehicle access due to this, just like all of the area is. It won't take too long to long to look around which is reflected in the reasonable price. I went late in the afternoon and had no need to wait or prebook. Not sure how busy it gets in the day. They also have a great shop, which is worth a look around just by itself.

Take a Moment to be Blown Away at Moco

An extraordinarily beautiful space to view and contemplate outstanding works by Haring, Basquiat, “The Polka Dot Queen” Banksy and others. A moving tribute to humanity and what makes us tick, from sexuality to a modern day “Last Supper.”

A great experience for students

We really enjoyed the paintings and other art displays the museum had to offer. Some of them made us laugh, some of them made us take a lot of pictures for social media, and some of them made us think. We had a huge discount for being university students :) The museum is small, but, for the price paid, it was totally worth it!

I found it interesting and really cool, the operas have a meaning related to the present. To get 5 stars they would need to put more arts and artists.

Hidden gem

We happened on this museum because it was one of very few open on a Monday, and we had very low expectations. Boy, were we glad we went! It’s a small but mighty collection. This should be on every visitor’s radar. Bonus is to go right at opening to have many of the rooms almost to yourself.

Loved the art

I really loved the museum, alterative art to what you normally see however I was a little surprised how pricey it was. Still worth a visit.

Never imaging the tour was so impressive. Strong visual impacts and there were emotions behind. Do recommend for people want a remarkable experience in Barcelona.

Moco - instagrammable art

Moco museum is in a great location and boasts quite a decent collection. I really loved the Digital Immersive Art exhibition. It was fun and it was very ‘instagrammable’!

Excellent temporary exhibition! Also enjoyed the permanent one, which I already knew. Very easy to book tickets online, friendly staff, fun museum store.

Moco Museum

It's really worth seeing. The exhibits are interested and represent a new perspective. I loved the room with the glowing crystals.

Well worth a visit

Well designed exhibitions, stunning building and lots to see (Took me an hour to see everything). If you’re a fan of American street art, there’s some great pieces.

Lovely kaws

The kaws figure is the best. The NFT work is so cool. All the work is unique with the space of the building make everything perfect. All the artist did their work so cool and motivated

Great place to visit

Easy to book, good value. Excellent original works. Set over two floors plentiful room to view the works. Stayed for about an hour
