Kayak and trekking through the wonderful Costa Brava

One of the best days of our vacation!

This is exactly the adventure we were hoping for! Our tour guide, Toni, was fantastic, informative, friendly, and helpful. We were a family of 4 (two adult children in their 20's and parents 50 and 61). On the way to Costa Brava we stopped about halfway to hit the bathrooms and grab a bite to eat (if needed). The trekking was a bit tough at times (for the old folks!) but we walked off all those tapas we'd been enjoying on this vacation! The kayaking was great even though the water was a tad choppy - another great workout. We snorkeled and jumped off some small cliffs (yes, even us older folks). The water was amazing, the views were spectacular and the kids got plenty of Insta-worthy photos. The kids said this was the best day of the whole trip. Storing our belongings before kayaking was interesting - you put your backpacks in a room with a few folks working there, but it is relatively accessible to all. Still, everything was in the exact spot we left it when we got back. We stored our phones and valuables in a box behind the counter. There were restrooms there and places to change, if needed. We ate at a local restaurant near our pick-up location and had plenty of time to eat, stroll on the beach or even explore the town, if we wanted, before heading back to Barcelona. I would highly recommend this trip! Be prepared for a workout, but with breathtaking views and beautiful waters and caves, it was really fantastic!

Nice easy kayaking in a beautiful setting

The guide was very personable and informative. Unfortunately, it started pouring down rain during our "hike" to the kayak beach which, of course, is out of everyone's control. I would not call the walk "trekking" or "hiking". The kayaking was fun. There were no details about the itinerary of the 5 hour excursion which would have been helpful - order of events, wearing your bathing suit, places to change, wetsuits available, etc. The trip we booked through Civitatis also noted "snorkeling" and there was NO snorkeling. Finally, the 5 hour excursion was only 2 1/2 hours.

Costa Brava is a must see!

One of the most beautiful hikes I have ever done! The views are out of this world. Kayaking in and out of coves and alone the hike we just did was beautiful! Julia as a host was great! Super laid back and fun to talk to! Finished with an amazing seafood meal on the beach!

Relaxing day full of sun, fun and friends!

Julia is a gentle and easy going guide. She helped to make the experience feel simple and relaxing. The hike along the cost and kayaking around the rocks were peaceful. We had the best day taking in Costa Brava. She also gave us the best recommendation for a lunch spot by the beach. It was perfect.

Amazing tour and guides

Great workout after a week of eating and drinking! Hour hike, 2 hours kayaking. Really beautiful scenery around rock formations and caves, swimming in crystal clear water. Drinking water provided. Time for lunch and relaxing ride back to Barcelona. Highly recommend this tour to get out of the city and see the beautiful Mediterranean up close.

Best tour you can imagine

We had absolutely amazing time with Sergi!!! We took the tour that included the hike/trek, kayaking, and snorkeling and it was stunning. More importantly, Sergi was simply the best host you could ever ask for. Kind, engaging, patient, deeply knowledgeable….just a wonderful human being. Highly recommend the tour and if you can get Sergi, consider yourself lucky!!!!

Having Serji as our guide...

Having Serji as our guide was the best. He took us on the best routes not only on our trekking but in the kayak as well! Very attentive and kind. Great restaurant referral. All round, he was the best part for all he shared with us.

Beautiful Day of Adventure 🌊

Can’t recommend this experience enough! ⭐️ We saw beautiful clear blue waters, watches birds dive below the surface just feet in front of us, saw tiny delightful crabs on the unique rocks, and took in gorgeous views on the hike down. Our guide, Sergi, was amazing and led us to the best secret spots. His enthusiasm for nature was the cherry on top of a wonderful day. Ask him about Pirate Cove! 👏

Incredible experience!!

I visited Costa Brava a few times but this one I wanted to try something different. The hike through the coast of Costa Brava it was stunning and the kayacking an adventure you can not miss. The guide took care of us all the time and showed us some of the most beautiful places around.

An amazing experience!

Had an amazing time kayaking and trekking through Costa Brava! Amalia was a fantastic guide - very friendly and informative! This is a great experience and fun for all! I would definitely recommend it, even for those less experienced in the activities, as our guide was extremely helpful!

Great overall experience!

The tour guide, an italian guy (sry forgot the name!) was awesome, knowledgeable and shared a lot of tips during the trip (the car trip was around 1h). The walk was in a moderate/slow pace, so lots of photos could be taken (although I'm more of a cardio guy) and everyone can follow easily. We were 8 people joining and the guide let us kayak less and do more swimming/jumping from the cliffs since we asked for that, which was great.

Amazing day in Costa Brava

This was an awesome experience. Highly recommend to anyone who likes adventure! The trip up was in a nice large motor coach with A/C and reclining chairs. We hiked the beautiful coast of Costa Brava for about an hour. It was a great cardio burn with a lot of information about the land and animals in the area. Amalia was hilarious and very knowledgeable! She had us learning and laughing at the same time.Then we got to lock our stuff up at the kayak stand and get paddling. Wear hiking shoes/tennis shoes-it is very rocky and there are a good amount of stairs. They let you take them off and store them while in the water. It was breezy, sunny, gorgeous weather! We got to cliff jump, snorkel, and kayak up to some beaches along the coast within the caves and cliffs. Then after all the water activities, we had an hour to go grab lunch along the beach, so bring your wallet! ( A DryBag is also a good idea to store your stuff)It was so much fun and met every expectation we had. Take a GoPro or waterproof camera because the videos/pictures are breathtaking! Amalia even took some pictures of us and What's Apped them to our group. She was the best!!

Great Time Had by All

I would highly recommend the Trekking and Hiking tour at Costa Brava! Although our weather was less than perfect that day we still thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and activities. Costa Brava is one of the most picturesque places we visited in Spain. Our guide, Andrew, knew so much about the area as well as plants and vegetation. The highlight of the day was finding two octopi while snorkeling!

Una experiencia fantastica

El tour es un trekking de Camino de Ronda por la costa y 2 horas de kayak por acantilados, cuevas y snorkel. También hacen saltos desde las rocas. El trip estuvo fantastico. Mi parte favorita fue la cueva de Sagaró, una experiencia única, con un clima espectacular y un guía de cien puntos como Marc :) Si quieren divertirse y sacarse el estres, les recomiendo :)

El trekking fue realmente agradable,disfrutando de unas vistas y un entorno preciosos;la experiencia en kayak fue tan divertida, que se me pasaron las horas volando!El guía fue muy agradable,simpático y realmente profesional.

Un día inolvidable por la Costa Brava

Con estos días de frío me estoy acordando del verano pasado y una de las primeras cosas que me vino a la mente fue la fantástica salida por la Costa Brava con kayak incluido que realicé con SM Experiences. Todo fue perfecto de principio a fin. La costa brava es muy bonita y la actividad de kayak divertidísima. El guía atento en todo momento a todo el grupo, hizo que este día fuese un día perfecto!!! Recomiendo la actividad 100%!!!
