10/10 Hot Air Balloon Experience!

Can not recommend Fernando and his team enough! The pick up was easy and centrally located, they provided coffee and croissants upon arrival, and then we were off! The views were spectacular and the ride was so smooth. Fernando was very knowledgeable about the area, the history of hot air balloons, etc. He and team took many photos and videos for us. Upon landing we had a small picnic in a field with champagne, strawberries, and cured meats. Then we were driven back to our meeting point. I would fly in Fernando's hot air balloon every day if i could!!

Couldn't have been any better!

From start to finish the whole process was perfect! I planned this from afar for a group of 9 and it couldn't have gone any smoother or better! The guests had an amazing, memorable time, Fernando was amazing to work with, and the breakfast addition was perfect way to end the excursion. The pictures we received as well were such a nice touch! I HIGHLY recommend this group and tour!

A great experience

Very good communications, punctual door to door pick up from hotel to site. Our pilot Fernando was professional, fun and skilful and it was an extremely smooth and wonderful flight. Was a truly memorable experience !

Fraud. Do not fly with them

This company is an absolute disgrace and scam. I bought one of their coupons for a flight for 2 on Groupon, and when I tried to redeem it, they started to bring up excuses citing non existent conditions on the cupón pretending 100€ more to fly on the weekend. When I called them out on their scam and said I would put forward a complaint on Groupon, they started to delete the messages on WhatsApp. Luckily I took screenshot. Avoid them like the plague

Amazing customer service

In fact, I was actually unable to fly due to unforeseen circumstances. That said, Fernando and his team made every effort to reschedule during my short time in Barcelona. The professionalism he and his team displayed was amazing particularly during this time when help is so difficult to find. I applaud the quality of their service and will definitely reschedule with them. Class act.

Breathe Taking Views

This Hot Air Ballon Flight was the highlight of my Trip. The views were amazing, the weather was great and our Pilot John made this experience very enjoyable, we conversed and he made the journey calming. After our flight, we had a nice elegant wine and snack setup.

Late Pickup, but Cool Balloon Experience

Our experience with Barcelona Balloon Flights started out very bad. We were instructed to be at Plaza de Catalunya for a 6:30AM pickup. We were at the pickup location prior to 6:30AM, but no one was there. There was an issue of some sort (still unclear), and the driver from Barcelona Balloon Flights did not arrive until 7:30AM. We then sat in rush hour traffic for over an hour and arrived at the balloon at 8:50AM. We were supposed to arrive by 7:00AM. Because we were 2 hours late, we missed out on: -Breakfast at the balloon site -Setting up the balloon (and taking pictures with the balloon blown up) -A safety briefing The balloon was fully blown up and ready to go when we arrived. As soon as we got out of the van, we were being told to 'Get in the balloon! We have to leave!'. It was very hectic, stressful, and chaotic. I also did not like that we did not have a safety briefing of any kind. There were 9 people plus our instructor in the basket, for a total of 10 people. It did feel a little cramped but it wasn't terrible. We had a foggy day, but the clouds were low enough that our balloon was able to go over them. Being above the clouds was a surreal experience that I'm sure we will never forget. After that, the remainder of the balloon ride is up and down until you're in a good position to land. We were in the balloon for about 1 hour. Overall, being in the ballon was a lot of fun, but due to the rough start we felt like we missed out on half of the experience. We were looking forward to setting up the balloon, and being excited as we saw it get blown up. Instead we were rushed in without any regard to rules, regulations, or general safety guidelines. The majority of our experience consisted of waiting in the plaza and sitting in traffic. Overall I would still recommend the balloon ride.

BEST PART OF OUR TRIP!!!

I cannot say enough positive comments about this company and the experience! Staff was patient online while I emailed several questions before booking then all the details were provided in an email. We were picked up by a very nice Australian man who talked with us about the culture the whole ride to the hanger. We were a little nervous when we off-roaded to get there but it was all something to laugh at later. While the staff set up they allowed us to take pictures, help and breakfast was even provided!! We had an AMAZING pilot who took us up and taught us all about the area and art of flying. Afterwards, we toasted champagne and ate cheese/meats! This was the last day of our trip and we couldn't have spent it a better way. THANK YOU !!

Unforgettable flight!

It's impossible to pass all feeling of the flight and experience with Barcelonaballoonflights. Absolutely easy to communicate, absolutely accurate guys. Everything was exactly like they promised. It's amazing. They are very professional and very warm people. It was just pleasure to spend time to takeoff place, back and of course during the flight. Jordi was our pilot and he speaks English excellent with unforgettable humor and interesting details about landscape and ballooning. We was happy to make a flight and it was really great job from Barcelonaballonflights for sure. Good lucj, guys!

Incredible!!

This was the highlight of our trip!! Neal and the pilot Arnau are amazing and very handsome. The time in the air was breath taking and it was such a smooth ride. It is definitely worth it and the landscape is beautiful!! If you're trying to decide between companies for air ballooning in Barcelona choose Barcelona Balloon Flights.

The best experience for a holiday!

The trip started with preparing the baloon for the flight where you could learn all the principles of baloon functioning or just enjoy the sunrise together with the breakfast offered by the team. After you prepare the baloon and do the safety check you begin to rise together with the sun to an altitude of about 1000m in the air where the atmosphere is all calm and you can see the surroundings in an absolutely calm space and just enjoy the view, the fresh air and the company of your loved ones. Trust me the experience is fabulous and will be a memory for the years to come and something big to tell your friends about! Bonus, after the landing we had champagne, cheese and nuts from the amazing and experienced team whom took great care of us.

My experience with Barcelona balloon flights was nothing short of exceptional. Our email correspondence with the owner was professional, efficient and helpful, and our pilot was knowledgable, friendly, and overall wonderful. We had a lovely breakfast before and a perfect champagne toast to top it all off. Breath taking views! It was a surprise for my 60 year old father who has flown 6 times before, and he said this was by far his favourite. Definitely a major highlight of our trip.
