Great way to see A LOT of Barcelona! Our guides were so amazing! They arrived early, communicated with us up to our tour date and both drivers talked us through the tour. By the time the tour was over both of our boys didn't want to the tour to end! The drivers were SO, SO knowledgeable about the city and taught us so much. Our boys thought this was the best tour of our entire 3-week vacation (and we took a lot of tours). My wife and I also learned so much about the city and fell in love with Barcelona. This tour was a great, fun way to visit the city. It was also fun seeing everyone marvel at the sidecars and take pictures of us riding around. The sidecar is super comfy and fun, but make sure you’re ready to sit on the back or a motorcycle if you are on the bike with the driver. It’s a good core workout! This is a MUST DO for anybody visiting Barcelona and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would highly recommend this tour to EVERYONE!

Must do in Barcelona!

Nice informative guides! They made the day very fun and a great way to see most of Barcelona. We were traveling with our 3 kids (ages 22, 20 and 18) and we all had fun! Highly recommended!

Our favorite tour in Barcelona. Such a blast!! Guiu was a fantastic tour guide. So fun. So personal and funny. Great knowledge of history. Safe driver and showed us so, so much of this city!!!! My 80 year old husband sat behind the driver and loved it!!! Helmets had headsets so we could communicate entire time. ❤️

Great, fun way to see Barcelona!

Great fun riding in a side car, and allows you to see up & around. With headphones in the helmets we could easily hear our guide Guiu’s interesting & amusing commentary. Also, he adjusted the route to our interests. A really fun way to see Barcelona!

What a great way to see Barcelona!

Great way to see A LOT of Barcelona and figure out which areas you would like to focus on more. Our guide, Valentina, was so amazing. She was early to arrive and she talked us through the tour. By the time the tour was over we felt like we were old friends. She was very knowledgeable of the history of BCN and the different areas of the city. Fun way to visit the city, get some fresh air and some sun on a good day like we had. The sidecar is super comfy and fun, but make sure you’re ready to sit on the back or a motorcycle if you are on the bike with the driver. It’s a good core workout! Loved our time and happy we did it. Look forward to seeing the parts of the city we learned about.

David was our guide and did an excellent job taking us to all the high points of Barcelona. His knowledge of the history of the city was exceptional. We enjoyed every moment and highly recommend David and Brightside. Riding on back and in the sidecar was a unique and fun way to explore.

Take this tour

Tried a lot of excursions over the years. This tour was one of the best. Johannes was amazing, taking us all over the different areas of Barcelona, giving us a great overview of the history and modern day of the city—all on a motorcycle! Can’t recommend enough. Wish this experience was in every city we visit.

This Sidecar tour is a must!

This is a must do on your first day in Barcelona!! You get exposure to many parts of the city and attract a lot of smiles from people who see you in the sidecar! We had such a great time with our guide, Valentina. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this city but she was fun to hang around with! We loved every minute with her and loved this tour! Thank you!!!

Great Way To See Barcelona

Believe the reviews. We went out with Johanes (sp?) and it was a great tour around Barcelona and a wonderfully fun way to do it. It rained on the way back...it didn't matter, it just added to the fun aspect of an unusual day out.

Perfect way to get an overview of Barcelona

Gerardo and Valentina led us on a fun, informative, and safe trip around the city. They customized our time to fill in the gaps of what we had experienced, planned to experience, and give us a wonderful overview of other things to visit. We spent lots of time in smaller, local neighborhoods and were given great insights that we never would have appreciated. Overall, this was entertaining and informative tour was a highlight of our trip.

Perfectly unique way to see Barcelona

Lorenzo was a fantastic host for this trip. He customized the route to focus on sites we were most interested in and offered great suggestions. We even had a brief walking tour of a couple of neighborhoods. I would highly recommend this unique way to see the sights of Barcelona.

A tour like no other!

The tour was a real treat. I saw places outside the normal tourist route and had detailed and informative commentary by my guide. The ride was very comfortable and easy to get in and out of (I have mobility issues so that was a concern) . I had a wonderful experience and it was a highlight of my trip to Barcelona.

One of the best tours we have ever experienced!

This was an absolutely amazing way to tour and learn about the city. We did a family tour for 4 with Lorenzo and Johannes. It was a terrific afternoon and we learned so much from both of them. They did an excellent job of telling of the history of so many parts of Barcelona. Lorenzo had so many recommendations for food in all the different neighborhoods. They were great guides and our family had a wonderful experience. It was the perfect way to spend our first afternoon in Barcelona and set us up to better walk the city. We would all highly recommend this experience.

A MUST for any visitor to Barcelona!!!

HIGHLY recommend the Brightside motorcycle tours for a superb overview of the city, its architecture, history and culture. My two adult sons and I went and loved it. Not to mention, we came away more knowledgable than one of their friends who had been living in the city for 6 months. They pick you up and drop you off wherever you want, making it easy to work into a day of sightseeing. Plus, the tour ended with an on-foot tour of the Born, where our guides pointed out the best, coffee shop, a great dried fruit market, the MOCO, Picasso Museum and more. Honestly, it was worth every penny, and both of our guides were super informative and kind.

Amazing Sidecar Tour of Barcelona

This was a fantastic way to see Barcelona. It was safe, accessible to everywhere…we were able to move easily in narrow corridors/alleys and main streets. Ferdinand took me for breathtaking views of the city and also to the tourist hot-spots. This was an amazing way to spend an afternoon while my husband was in a business meeting. Book this tour!

The best tour in Barca

This experience was awesome. My 13 year old had a blast riding on the back of the motorcycle. Our guide Lorenzo had lots of insights into the history and architecture of Barcelona. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and would recommend this tour without question. We did another tour the next day and it was not even close to the quality of this tour. Thanks again Lorenzo!

We had such a great time. Ferdinand was awesome. It was such a great way to see a snapshot of the city in a short time. Would definitely recommend.

A great way to see the city!

We did this tour on our first day which was a great introduction to Barcelona. We were able to see a lot of the city and, of course, visibility was amazing because we were on the back of the motorbike and in the side car. A car or van would have had obstructed views and a bicycle couldn’t cover as much ground. Lorenzo and Ferdinand were great guides—very knowledgeable and careful drivers. Before the tour, I was a bit nervous about the mode of transportation, but felt completely safe all during the trip. The helmets have speakers and mics so we could hear our guides as we drove through the city and ask questions along the way. We also made a couple of stops and walked around which was nice so that we weren’t driving the entire time. Would highly recommend this tour.

A fantastic way to see Barcelona

My wife and I booked a sidecar tour of Barcelona on the last day of our holiday and it was a blast. The only thing I'd do differently is to schedule the tour on our first day in the city. The tour gives you a great overview of the city and gives you an opportunity to figure out what you need to see in depth and what you can omit from your itinerary. It's also great for pictures. Our guide, Joel, was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who taught us the history of Barcelona and its architecture. We were also able to get a better understanding of the heart of the Catalans. As for the sidecar, Joel made sure we were comfortable on the motorcycle sidecar and we felt absolutely safe and secure. Travel tip: follow the company's advice on what to wear for the tour. We recommend this tour for all new visitors to Barcelona.

Great Fun and Different to Other tours!

Our tour guide Gerurdo and Guiu are fantastic and flexible. They have great knowledge of Barcelona and it was great fun. They shared lots of stories, history and really helped us to see hidden places we would not have seen!

Best way to experience Barcelona

We did this tour with two other couples that had not done anything like this before. It was the best time. Our Drivers / Guides were fantastic and tailored the tour to what we were interested in. We certainly got in all the highlights and the short walking tours that they included gave us real feel for the history of Barcelona. We finished the tour at Montjuic with amazing views all over the city with the sun going down and sharing a bottle of cava. No better way to see Barcelona.

Barcelona sidecar tour

Lorenzo, what a guy. He was right on time and picked us up outside our hotel. He spent a few minutes speaking about the brief history of Barcelona and personalising our tour. He was so informative about everything that Barcelona has to offer and we couldn’t think of a better way to see the city. An incredible experience. 5* all the way.

Great Alternative Way to See Barcelona

My niece (11) and I had a fantastic tour with Lorenz! The vehicle was fun to ride in and maneuvered the streets of Barcelona perfectly! We both highly recommend this tour for kids and adults. We felt like it was personalized for our needs and Lorenz gave great information and took us all over the city- from Barri Gotic and Gracia to Montjuic and L'Eixample. The helmet/speaker situation is brilliant. Such a fun and different way to get to know Barcelona. Muchas Gracias para todo!

Barcelona By Motorcycle

Our driver, Juli, was an excellent tour guide. He was accommodating, intelligent and generally fun to be with! He asked questions regarding our previous sightseeing experience in Barcelona and then customised our tour so that we saw new sites.

Stellar way to see Barcelona

This tour was absolutely OUTSTANDING. My family still talks about it as one of the highlights of our monthlong European vacation. This was a private tour with two guides and two motorcycles; pick-up and drop-off were conveniently located at our hotel. The sidecars were a great way to see the city as they go slow enough to grab photos and everything can be seen without peering through a bus window. Helmets with audio made it easy to communicate with the driver. Our guides Lorenzo and Gerardo were excellent: very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the city and history. They provided a map to show where we were going and what we would see, pointed out various landmarks as we drove by, stopped in a few places for us to get out and explore, and revisited the map upon our return to pull it all together. I learned a lot about Barcelona and found a few highlights to see again on our next trip back to the city. You will also get a lot of attention as this is a fun and unique way to sightsee. I can't recommend this tour enough!

Barcelona by Motor Bike / Side Car

A novel way to see Barcelona at ground level with a knowledgeable tour guide/motorbike rider. For those unaccustomed to being on a motorbike ( with side car) this experience is a bonus. Bluetooth connection allows you to hear what is being described. The architecture of Barcelona is fascinating. Would recommend.

Great tour and lots of fun.

Had a really fun tour with a friendly and very well informed guide named Guiu. He started by explaining the layout of the city on a map. We then did the tour stopping at major sites. The tour gave us a great over view of the city and all major sites.

Amazing way to see the beautiful city of Barcelona! The tour takes you around the entire city - you really get the layout and hit all of the major sites. We loved it!

FANTASTIC trip through Barcelona!

Guiu was FANTASTIC!! We absolutely LOVED this tour! People were taking picture of US while we drove thru the streets of Barcelona. The helmets were comfortable, the headsets worked great and his English was super so we could communicate easily the entire time. He showed us all the highlights we wanted to see and some unexpected interesting spots as well. What a beautiful city and a beautiful way to see it! We smiled and laughed so much-Guiu has such a great sense of humor! He even made a local suggestion for lunch that was great and learned a little about stock trading on the side! Sight-seeing in Barcelona

Good way to see the sights of Barcelona. The driver was quite knowledgeable and was able to mix in a good amount of free time for us to take pictures.

Great sidecar tour

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-1/2 hour sidecar tour. Guiu, our pleasant and accommodating guide, was great sharing historical and biographical facts as well as current anecdotes and information. These two 70+ adults felt safe and comfortable the whole excursion. Thanks for a fun and satisfying experience!

I can’t say enough about our tour with Gerardo. He was exceptional with his detail about the city of Barcelona and careful to make sure we saw, heard and understood everything on the tour. He answered all of our questions and we felt very safe on this tour. I would suggest this tour to those wanting to do something more adventurous than a big group tour. It was private and personal and the highlight of our Barcelona experience.

Must do Tour

We did a half day trip with Alessandro. Highlight of our time in Barcelona. You can get a feel for the entire City and not be sequestered in the Barri-Gotic area. Alessandro was incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

Awesome, informative and super fun experience in Barcelona.

This was a fantastic experience. We had just one day in Barcelona and we were able to see so much of the city, that we could never have done via car or bus. Our motorcycle/sidecar escort guide named Guiu was absolutely superb. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona itself, but also all of the landmarks he took us to see. And there were many. It was a beautiful day, and he took full advantage of showing us all he could get us to. We had several stops where we could get out and take photos, shop in local stores, take a potty break or water breaks. He was very personable, spoke superb English which was so helpful to us. He kept us informed the whole trip via headphones in our helmets. We give him all the stars possible for making this trip a top highlight of our visit to Barcelona, and Europe in general. He was an extremely safe driver and my husband on the back of the bike, and me in sidecar, always felt very safe and were able to fully enjoy the whole experience. We just had so much fun riding with him and waving to people and seeing so many smile and wave back in awe. You could just see that they knew we were having a wonderful time watching us scooting through the busy streets and local areas. Definitely recommend this tour, and if you can get Guiu as your guide, you will have the best time.

Amazing!!

We were picked up right on time at our hotel by Yuli and Lorenzo. Then we were off for a grand tour of Barcelona, with excellent narration of the places and their history. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you have a limited time to spend in this fabulous city!
