Nice walking tour

Very interesting walk through the city. Guide provided detailed stories about the city and architecture. Found unique features on each building that otherwise would have been overlooked.

We had a great tour and learned so much; even on spring break. Montse was certainly passionate and knowledgeable about Catalan culture, the history of he city and especially the architecture and that passion came through. p.s. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations Montse...we've been to several and they've been excellent.

A lovely walking tour with a great tour guide Isabel

Isabel, a fantastic tour guide and a great human being who is passionate sharing her experiences about Barcelona city. She also was very interactive and listened patiently to answer our questions. Never seen such an interactive walking tour. It was more like walking the city with a friend. The 3 hours we spent with her were lovely, it felt like it was just 3 minutes. The time went so fast because she explained a lot about modern Barcelona and gaudi and his work. She also helped with some roadside shopping and got some tasty chocolates. She gave us restaurant suggestions and about places in Barcelona. Overall a very satisfying experience to see the city with a local person's perspective. We enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend Isabel and her tour company.

Didn’t go but still waiting for refund

The guide was I’ll so had to cancel we didn’t get to go. Still awaiting our refund. I can’t truly leave a review for the guide or the tour.

Terrible tour guide

After I arrived at the meeting point on the day (11/1), I was told by another guide that my trip was changed- my tour guide was sick and the itinerary became "old town", no the original plan to cover architecture + Sagrada Familia. This completely screwed up my schedule. I checked the tickets to Sagrada Famíliaare and they're all sold out in the next couple days. I won't recommend this service at all.

Walking Barcelona

Tony did a great job discussing the architecture on the walk. The listing should be more clear on Viator regarding entrance to locations (primarily Sagrada Familia) that require tickets. The description says "free admission" at each location but the only location we physically entered on the walk was the building next to Casa Batilo. Several people on the walk were confused, thinking they could enter locations that require tickets, based on the Viator description.

Great tour! Very knowledgeable and entertaining.I would recommend for families. I brought my 11 year along and he enjoyed as well.

Excellent experience in Barcellona

Our guide Montse was great. There were 3 of us and she explained to us in a very interesting way all the buildings, square and monuments we visited. We took photos, enjoyed and had great time. We also went extra time as it was super interesting staying together.

Montse was great

Montse was fantastic. She is very knowledgable and enthusiastic. She answered our questions thoughtfully doing a great job listening to us. She extended our time when she realized we’d misunderstood the scope of the tour. We’d thought that the tour went inside the various buildings. Montse made up for it by spending extra time with us explaining more about Barcelona’s history and the history of the beautiful buildings.

We had a great time visiting the architecture of the city with Montse! She was very knowledgeable om the architecture and history of the city and took the time to answer our questions and give us a great a great overall view of modernism in Barcelona. We enjoyed our time with her a lot, she was a sweet and fun tour guide and made sure to personalize the tour according to out interests! Thanks again!

Barcelona Walking Tour

We had a great tour yesterday, exploring the architecture in Barcelona. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the country, the city, and the area in general. We loved seeing Gaudi’s buildings and hearing about a chocolatier’s family that has kept their home in the family for generations. Thank you for sharing these stories and pointing out all the little details we would have otherwise missed.

Must take

We learn so much about the Gaudi and his work, but also about the other amazing architects and their masterpieces. Our amazing guide Montse give us a lot of interesting information and explanations about everything we saw on this tour. We got a lots of tips and recommendations for exploring the city. I would recommend this tour for everyone before visiting the most famous Gaudies works.

Stunning walking tour of key Modernist buildings in Barcelona !

We had a fantastic walking tour with Montse through the 1870 - 1920 Catalonian Modernism with peaks in all the most stunning buildings including the highlights of Gaudi and the outside tour of the Sagrada Família ! Montse has a contagious love for Catalonia and fills the architectural tour with very interesting anecdotes from well known families and XIX century updates of Barcelona. We loved it and can only recommend !

This is the tour to take!

This tour provided a great overview of Barcelona. It included sites you want to see but not necessarily listed on the itinerary. Alberto our guide was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The tour was small and we enjoyed meeting everyone. It was a wonderful day.

Friendly but the tour ran long.

Overall this was a good tour. The tour guide was friendly but she did not manage time well. We spent longer discussing some sites than was necessary, and then we did not have much time for the Sagrada Familia. The tour ran an hour over.

New / Old Modernism architecture tour

This being our first trip to Spain and Barcelona, we decided a tour guide was the way to go as the city is so big and we didn’t want to miss anything. Andrei was so wonderful. He pointed out so many things that we would have surely missed on a self guided tour. He gave us so much information in such a pleasant manner. We will always remember the number 33…the statue ladies with the camera , book and light bulb! So fascinating. Thank you Andrei

Wonderful tour and city suggestions

Laura was a great guide- she was passionate about art and architecture, as well as knowledgable. It was a great tour to understand more about Gaudí and I recommend doing and then deciding after where else you’d like to visit. Also- great suggestion for restaurants from the guide!

Roberto was an excellent guide. He was friendly, funny and ensured our comfort throughout. He tailored our tour to suit our interests and the needs of our group. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience so fun. He was one of the highlights of our trip.

Marlon is the best. He is young and vibrant, very patient explaining everything from history to architecture. He has the personality that allows you to share and ask questions freely. I cannot believe he was trained to be a doctor. A very handsome, sweet and kind young man. Will recommend him 100%.

GAUDI TOUR :)

This tour was the best ! Miguel is an enthusiastic guide who shares his love for the city, gives you time to take pictures during the tour, is funny and interresting. In this pandemic time, we were 3 (my sisters and me) and it was like a private tour. I couldn't advise you more to get a tour guide (this one or another of your choice) to support the local economy, and at the same time have a great experience :)

Great introduction to Modernism and Gaudi

Onno was our guide. We liked him so much on the free tour, so we booked this tour in the afternoon. Honestly, if we had more time we would do the forbidden with him but we have a flight to catch! Anyway, Onno clearly is passionate about art and architecture and it came through on this tour. I also liked how he was very conscious of making sure we were safe (not getting hit by cars or bikes, avoiding pickpocketers, etc). You got to see a fair amount of the main attractions and some unexpected stops too.

<p>The tour is very interesting and you get to know facts about Barcelona that you would not otherwise. It is not hard to walk the 2 hours and you get to see the most important buildings from Barcelona. There was only one issue that we booked the spanish tour and when we got there it was the english tour. Luckily nobody else showed up and the guide was able to speak spanish.</p>

Très mauvaise expérience

Lors de la réservation très grande ambiguïté résultat ce n’était pas une visite de la Sagrada mais une visite de la ville pour 160 € pour deux ce n’était pas la faute du guide, mais vraiment le site est très ambigu

Une recherche des lieux peu connus, pour apprendre à reconnaître les différents architectes modernistes qui ont compté à Barcelone. Roberto s'est bien adapté au groupe, n'a pas ménagé ses efforts pour être dynamique et motivant, et capter l'attention de mes trois ados: bravo!
