Tablao Flamenco Cordobes - Enjoyable and fascinating show

The show was very well done... high energy, interesting and entertaining. We enjoyed it. What was disappointing was the dinner. This is not a "dinner show", diner is served in a separate dining room from a buffet, then at the appointed time, the patrons are escorted into the "theater", where the show is performed. We were expecting a different kind of venue, where dinner is served before the show, in the theater. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being high, the food was a '5', at best. My wife said it was a "3" in her opinion. I think they try and make the food experience authentic, but do not expect anything for the "American" palate... except the desserts of pastries and cakes. You may consider eating before the show and only booking a show, if that option is available.

Great dance & music.

The songs & the dance was amazing. We were from all ages, 9-66, the younger kids were not fit for the show.

Do not do it

Do not do it. This is terrible. See how many you can cram in and provide awful sangria and a cramped small room with chairs. Some very average performers. I've been around a lot and I respect culture but this was just not good. Avoid

Not for fans of Flamenco

I took my partner who loves flamenco and we were so disappointed. It was more of a very exaggerated show for tourists. It lacked the art and beauty of the flamenco dance. Definitely not good value for money at all.

Beautiful dancing

Excellent, amazing dancing!!! Bravo to the dancers, servers and everyone doing the seating. Unfortunately, there were many latecomers (BE ON TIME PEOPLE!) . It was super disruptive and disrespectful to the performers. I spoke to manager Roberto and he was receptive and helpful. PLEASE make a rule that entry isn’t allowed after a certain number of minutes late. Other than that, perfection. Thank you all!!

Must See!

The show was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona! It was moving and powerful. The intimate setting helped the audience connect to the performance and provided a once a lifetime experience. We chose the dinner option and the meal was very good. It was a little congested getting around the buffet, but the options were plentiful and everyone in my party was fully satisfied.

Foods of the area, dance expressing emotions.

Foods were delicious. Great variety. The dancers were so full of energy and wanted to share it with the audience. I wanted to respect the story line of the song and dance. Is it possible to give a sinopses of the story so the audience understands the emotions expressed.

Flamenco

Good show, very passionate performers, Very authentic. Food was a buffet style including Sangria. First you have dinner then you go into the show that last about an hour, they also give you a glass of champagne not the best but after all the sangria. You can’t really tell .

Don’t waste your time. Beyond terrible.

I was tremendously disappointed with this flamenco show. We were stuffed in a small room that had way too many chairs jammed together. The space between the chairs was so small that it was difficult to walk down the aisle. If you were not on the front row, you could barely see. A large part of the beauty of flamingo dancing is to see the dancers feet. Due to where we were sitting, I could only see the dancers from the chest up, which ruined the experience for my family. The performance, especially the guitar solo, was painfully long. My mom actually walked out and sat in the lobby about half way through as she couldn’t take it anymore. The fact that they have been in business for a long time confounds me. The only thing I can think of is that they have tourists coming in at such a rapid rate that they are able to keep the show running. I can’t imagine someone actually attending the show more than once.

Wonderful Show

Loved the show. Dancers were fantastic. Food was good too.. Ambience of venue was terrific. We were right on top of the stage which allowed us to view the incredibly foot work of the dancers. The Guitar music was even better than I expected.

An excellent evening out in Barcelona

The Tapas were delicious. Tried a few items we had never had previously. The wine with our tapas was good. Champagne during the show. The dancing was amazing.

Flamenco dinner and show

Show was nice, performers are hard workers and did a great job. Our dinner time was 6 p.m., we arrived right at 6, but the dining room had many people there already. There were 2 buffet stations, 1 of them had most of the food gone already, and the 2nd one had about half. They didn't replenish much and the 1st station completely closed. So, food situation not the best, I'd skip it and just do the show.

Book it! My 18yr old daughter and I had a fantastic experience! Gave 4/5 stars because for me the food was meh. I am somewhat of a food snob though . The show was electric. The passion could be felt, seen, and heard. The performers are true professionals

Excellent show and buffet

The best flamenco show I have ever seen. Loads of drama and emotion by the performers. You are quite close to the stage so you see all the detail. We had the gastronomic meal beforehand which is an excellent buffet of tapas and other courses. Drinks were also included in the price.

amazing show and experience but not great food buffet. a lot of people in a small buffet area. I would go again only for the show and probably some tapas.

Had a really great time. The experience was a surprise birthday gift for my husband while we were traveling in Barcelona.. I chose the dinner + drinks + show option, despite a few mediocre reviews about the dinner, as I also read those who ate dinner got better seats. This was true! For that reason alone it was worth it. 1) The venue was amazing! It is so fun to be in that setting that feels so authentic (embracing the history of flamenco), so close to the performers. It is so intimate and special. Now I can't imagine watching this in another venue. 2) The performers were AMAZING! The singers, guitar players, and of course dancers pulled us in and took us on an incredible journey. The dancers were so passionate and technically incredible. The singers are your tour guides and so talented... THEY were having so much fun, too! The guitar players were also so beautiful. My husband kept looking at me and saying "thank you" all night! 3) Drinks during dinner were a choice of wine, beer, or sangria. Drink offered to everyone (who purchased a dinner or drink + show ticket) was cava. That was fine with us as we enjoy these. 4) Dinner buffet was a bonus, and we enjoyed it. I think it's worth it as part of the EXPERIENCE, and an investment so that you can get a better seat in the performance. Food is really important to me, and I was a chef for many years. I knew going in from the other reviews that it might not be the most impressive meal of our trip, but I will say that it was good, we were thankful for the effort of the staff, and to enjoy a meal in a neat setting. We enjoyed visiting with the servers, and other visitors. The food was thoughtfully presented, and we tried a few things I had seen in other menus in town that I was curious about but never would have tried otherwise. The area of the dining room we were sitting in was not air conditioned; and that was uncomfortable, especially men in long sleeves / pants. I recommend wearing nice clothes, but short sleeves if visiting during a warm season. 5) Servers were very nice to us! I mentored it was my husband's birthday to the server and they surprised him (and me!) with a special (delicious!) dessert with a candle and sang "Happy Birthday" to him... so sweet and cute! Everyone was very kind and friendly to us. 6) A different reviewer said that they were ushered in like a "cattle call"... There is a bit of that, but it's because they have multiple shows per night, and they have a system they repeat for each showing... And it works. I didn't find it offensive and it didn't make me feel less special. 7) When visiting Barcelona again we will visit this show again! We will purchase the dinner + drinks + show package again, I scheduled us for the last show of the night (dinner started at 9:15 pm) and I will do that again... I feel that it might create a more relaxed pace for the evening. We got out at midnight. 8) I LOVED THAT THEY DO NOT ALLOW PHOTOGRAPHY UNTIL THE LAST 5 MINUTES! You can actually watch and ENJOY the show without being blocked by your neighbor's phone screen, and I'm sure it's great for the performers. This was AMAZING! This was one of the most fun highlights of our trip! A really great night. We are very thankful to the performers and staff that made it possible!

Great Flamenco Show

Wow!!! Excellent show. The food is buffet and is the only reason I give a four to this experience. Other than that it was a great experience.

Pretty Good

Very authentic show, up close, no bad seats. Food selection good, drinks ok. Meal a little rushed therefore only 1 or 2 glasses of wine then went to another area for show.

Fabulous!

The intimate setting made the performance so impactful. We could feel the vibrations of the dancing. The atmosphere was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend.

Not dancers fault that space was overpacked and too hot!

Dancing was great then too much of a slow guitar solo. It was too warm and was jammed pack in that room where they perform. I had to leave the room and wasn’t easy to exit either.

Not the best

We had much higher expectations after being to a tablao Flamenco performance in Malaga. A lot of the dancing didn't seem authentic and the guitar was mediocre. Vocals well done though, passionate and entertaining. If you have none other to compare it with you would probably be okay with the show.

Great!!

We booked this last minute on our last night in Barcelona. Didn’t really know what to expect but it was very interesting! The dancers and singers were great. It was very hot inside but thankfully we had a little mini fan with us. Other than that, it was a great way to end our trip!

Spectacular!!!!

The whole experience from the start to finish was amazing. The buffet was ok with a variety of foods including paella, fish, vegetables ,pastas, and desserts. The waiters poured generous glasses of wine also. Next, to the show. The Flamenco show was spectacular. It was full of emotion and lots and of talented singers and dancers. It was as the best part of our trip.

Do it

A great introduction to the various styles of flamenco…while there maybe smaller and more casual settings for the locals—this is professional and an easy way to experience it and work it in

Food was good and the show a nice introduction to the art form. Considering the location the offering is a bit touristic but if your time is short it is worthwhile.

Awesome Show!

The dancers were outstanding and the musicians and singers very good. My only complaint is the set up is very cramped and it’s hard to see over peoples’ heads. The venue is small and intimate. Not recommended for folks who can’t climb stairs.

Great original dance, great dancers, great show. Nice location, we didn't have dinner, only drinks. Nice guitar music and great value. The show is one hour.

The passion with which the performers sang and danced was stirring! I am so glad to have seen this wonderful show!!

Flamenco Show and buffet

The show was amazing- the dancers and singers so passionate and entertaining! We did the buffet dinner with the show. I think it was the correct choice. The food was pretty good and by doing it combined we had great seats for the show. I would recommend this experience when in Barcelona!

The dancers were fantaatic!! The guitar performers aa well. The atmosphere and intimate setting, added to the enjoyment!!

Stomping it up in Barcelona!

We had a very limited time in Barcelona, and this excursion gave us a great authentic flavour of the country. The dinner buffet prior to the show was top-notch featuring many Spanish seafood dishes. The wait staff was very attentive and engaged, making sure the customers had what they needed. This stage for the show was very intimate, and you could really see the intricate footwork of the flamenco dancers. I have attended flamenco shows in various parts of Spain, and this one in Barcelona was second only to that of Madrid. It was a great evening on our last night in Barcelona and very good value for the money.

Fun dinner and performance!

The dinner was a large buffet, quality was ok but there were a lot of choices for vegetarians and kids. The flamenco performance was very lively and fun! We got seated at the back but could still see the feet of the dancers. Overall, good experience and I would recommend for other travelers

Hearing protection required!

The buffet dinner had lots of delicious choices. The intricate rhythms and footwork of the dancing were fascinating. But it sounded like an indoor firing range. After 30 minutes, my ears were ringing so painfully that I had to leave.

Perfect experience

Perfect experience from start to finish. The experience is well organised and great value for money. The food and drinks provided was enjoyable. All staff were helpful polite and friendly. The flamenco show was amazing. Great experience. Highly recommend

Flamenco party

Food was plentiful with unlimited drinks during din & 1 during show. The show itself was very entertaining with some really impressive dancing and quitar playing. It was a good night out certainly worth the time.

Disappointing- give it a miss

Overall the experience was just sad. We didn’t pay for dinner, just the show. Packed in, couldn’t see the dancers feet (important for such a show). Everything including the dancers just seemed a little worn out.

Amazingly talented artists. We totally enjoyed our time and dinner. Would recommend to any one any age.

Bad food, decent show

Food was poor, servers were rushed and somewhat rude, felt very touristy. Show was very crowded and uncomfortable. Dancers and musicians did a good job. Felt inauthentic. Felt like we were being processed through a machine rather than enjoying the evening. I would look elsewhere for a nice flamenco experience.
