Diving in pond not in sea, Diving school...

It's a diving school, we expected taking in sea, but they made pond, their they done diving, dirty water... Expected something else in Barcelona... If you want learn go here, if you want to experience the diving not this place for sure...

it's really one of the best activities I've done, I didn't think there was so much belled in the mediterranean sea. We've got to keep protecting the coastline!

Perfect experience for newbies

Very amiable and professional stuff. Me and my father felt well and comfortable even tho he didnt speak any available language (I translated necessary things for him). Guys did their best to explain everything as clear as possible. I'm so thankful and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. The way you feel your body underwater with all this equipment is amazing. I'd recommend to try this thing to everyone, who wants to feel something completely new, 'cause guys will do everything for you to feel safe and happy underwater.

Avoid at all cost

Worst customer service ever. Missed our bus to get there in time and they were very cheeky and not accommodating whatsoever. Wanting us to pay extra to go another day after already paying €110. Used the excuse as you missed the time so it’s like an aeroplane if you miss it you have to pay again even tho they had extra spaces?

Opened up a new world

Patient and friendly instructors, by luck we were surrounded by sea life, we had fish swimming right up to our goggles! Amazing first experience diving and gives you the safe space to built confidence to prepare you for future diving. Amazing experience, can’t recommend enough for anyone who hasn’t dived before!

Save your money

Having dived all over the world I thought I would bring by partner here to give diving a try. Unfortunately it has put her off diving for life. The water was dirty and murky and the instructor bored and dismissive of her concerns. Save your money and go somewhere that's worth it.

Bad experience

Terrible diving experience. The instructors were uninterested and the equipment old and dirty. I would not recommend.

Perfect place to start the diving adventure

What a great team of divers they have. I went with my 8 year old son and he was quite nervous about the discovery dive. The instructor Ima (sorry if I got the name) was super helpful and made him comfortable with the dive. He slowly gained confidence and was able to enjoy the experience. The dive itself was in a safe and secure environment not to scare anyone diving for the first time. If you are looking for a dive school in Barcelona, this is the perfect place.

The actual dive, after a short but thorough instruction, was like being in another world. This was the first dive and a great experience.

Good coach and good course for beginners

The coach was very good and took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, even underwater. However don’t expect to see any marine life, but at the same time it's a beginners' course so it's normal not to dive very deep for our safety as it's our first time. To sum up, if you are a novice in diving go for it !

Awesome

Super cool experience! I went as a solo traveler but would recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona. The instructors were patient and gave clear instructions. Just be prepared for a workout!

Great experience!

We had a lovely experience. We were late and they were really accommodative which is greatly appreciated. The experience under water was on another level . It felt great and is a real good stress buster ! Please don’t forget to pack towels, flip flops and swim wear .

First scuba dive

The beginners diving course was easy to understand and the instructors were super helpful and attentive to us. I felt nervous but safe on my first dive. It was amazing to see the schools of fish and the water was perfect in mid October.

Think I discovered a new passion

Fantastic experience, inspiring and wonderful. Excellent equipment, perfect instruction, great people. Highly recommended. The instructors were the best part, friendly, professional and skilled in multiple languages. I mistakenly overpaid and they went out of their way to reimburse me.

Amazing

Everything was amazing, the place, the people, the instructors! Such honor to be introduced to my first diving experience here in Barcelona on my holiday (living in London 😉)! Definitely recommended to everyone who would like to try their first "steps" into this beautiful sport and acquatic hobby! Next time I'll come to Barcelona will definitely come back here for another more session!

Great for first diving experience

The team is super friendly and took the necessary time to teach us how a save dive works and how to communicate if we‘ve got any problems. At no time did I feel pressured to dive or go through with it if I didn‘t feel 100% about it. The dive was a great experience even though I‘ve been fearful of open waters. Conquer your fears and have that great experience! It‘s like another world and the feeling of weightlessness is great

Just book, don’t look back

LOVED MY TIME! We had an instruction, got suited and swam around for about an hour under water. Highly recommend this as something to do!

High expectations, low reward

It’s relatively cheap but you don’t get to see anything. They take you in a circle around a closed like pond by the beach for like 25 minutes and that’s it.

Must do experience

5/5 star. This is a must do experience. I was a beginner, and this was interesting, fun, and a great day out. Two guys in the shop / running the PADI classes are fantastic. 5/5 must do experience while in Barcelona. Best, Dave - woohoo

Excellent! Really lovely intro dive

I have my open water PADI, but my partner (terrified of the ocean) had never been scuba diving before, so I booked this an an intro dive for him. Very affordable, and lovely, patient instructors who'll put you right at ease. The little artificial reef isn't the most colourful thing you'll ever see, but there was plenty of wildlife and good visibility. We went for a nice, long dive and even found a cheeky little octopus hiding! Even as a certified diver, it was lovely to do this dive after being so long out of the water because of the pandemic. A great little refresher! Thanks heaps everyone!

Amazing APNEA Freediver Course

My wife Mar, our children Matteo and Ale (14 years old) and me, had a lifetime Freediving experience thanks to our instructor Cristhian. He took us through the theory of Freediving at the school for a couple of hours and after the exam We moved to the sea, just 500 meters from the school. We then spent the rest of the day and the next morning excersizing in the water, confortably dressed in our neoprenes kindly supplied by the school. We did our static freediving challenges, after a carefull body stretching and relaxation. Then the 25 meters horizontal freedive. And then the freediving challenges down to 10 meters depth. All the above in full safety and control with a close supervision of Cristhian, our instructor. The rest of the IDive School was great, kind, funny, supportive and helpfull all the time. We learned A LOT and We are eager to practice more and more to gain more confidence and enjoy our future dives. Thanks Cristhian. Thanks IDive Barcelona

Awesome experience for new divers!

I am open-water certified and was spending the weekend in Barcelona with my teenage son. My son has never dove before, so we decided to sign up for the intro to diving tour with iDive Barcelona. It was a great experience for beginners. The trainers were excellent, providing wonderful instruction and guidance, and eased any fears new divers may have. Then, we went into a great area for a dive, which included lots of fish and even an octupus in their artificial reef. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. My son is still telling everyone about his awesome diving experience!

This trip is worth it

It is a great experience for couples or singles. I am 60 years old and cannot swim and have never jumped into the water. But in your lifetime, you can dive underwater to see the wonders of the sea and touch plankton. It is really a worthwhile trip!

Pourquoi pas :-)

Première plongée pour moi à Barcelone. Pour des débutants c’est parfait après pour des expérimentés ils vont être déçu car c’est comme un bassin fermé. On ne voit pas grand chose dans l’eau. Les instructeurs sont top. Par contre on a pris des photos de moi que je n’ai jamais reçu .. je trouve ça dommage j’aurais aimé avoir mes photos souvenirs inclus dans le forfait 🥲.

Dubitative

Bonne expérience dans l’ensemble avec 4 moniteurs. La dame était très gentille et bienveillante cependant j’ai rencontré un problème avec un moniteur qui a été brusque et qui ne voulait pas me laisser remontrer à la surface. Pour des personnes débutantes cela peut être traumatisant.

Plongée sous marine

Très bonne expérience de plongée, les moniteurs sont très cool et très patients. L’eau été unpeu trouble mais on voyait quand même les poissons et la végétation, une expérience à tester
