Casa Batllo Admission Ticket with Intelligent Audio Guide

Highly overrated for the $35 cost

Highly overrated and absolutely not worth the high ticket price. Pure marketing - the outside facade is interesting but the inside walk was probably worth $5 at most. Seeing some stained glass and oak paneling and curved doors is certainly not my idea of $35 Would skip.

Enjoyable visit

The building was well worth a visit. Gold Pass also worthwhile, but just for skipping the queues. The "Gaudi Dome" was a waste of time, as were the "gardens" on the roof (a tunnel made out of artificial flowers, and you have to wear a hard hat inside it!) . The gold pass lets you see the private residence of the Battlo's which is just one larger room with period furniture off one of main floors. If you are going to visit, either go Blue or Gold. We didn't want to wait in line so it was worth the extra EUR10.

Go gold

The virtual tour tablet that comes with the gold pass was well worth it as well as skipping the line of people. Good way to spend an hour or two.

Definitely a must see!

This was a highlight of our city break. We would definitely recommend paying for the Gold ticket, mainly because of the ease of entering the attraction by skipping the queues. Our ticket included the augmented reality tablet which was excellent at bringing everything to life. The audio guide was informative without being too long so you really could get a taste of Gaudi’s ideas and how and why he designed the house as he did. We particularly enjoyed the roof top area where there is bar to buy a drink to enjoy whilst admiring the views and incredible Gaudi creations.

AMAZING

Amazing house. I love Gaudi and have admired this home from the outside many times, but this was my first time to see if from the inside. It shows Gaudi's architectural genius in building homes. There were a LOT of stairs, but it was well worth it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves Gaudi

Very interesting. A beautiful structure worthy of being in the world heritage. I would love to come with my grandkids back here so they can see that imagination is a good thing too.

Wonders of the human mind and creative spirit

Got the gold ticket , it was worth it not to wait in long line. Loved it , got to experience pure genius in my eyes . Also got to admire La Sagrada Familia , you have to go inside to appreciate it.

Beautiful Gaudi work but disorganized

We visited Casa Batllo as the first evening guests (this ticket is a few euros less than the daytime one and included a glass of cava). The staff were very nice but had no clue what they were doing. Getting in and out of the house was chaotic and very busy. There are multiple evening events happening at the same time which added to the chaos. The flow of the tour was confusing and created a lot of traffic. In comparison Casa Mila and Casa Vicens are both much better organized. Though I still recommend seeing this work by Gaudi.

Amazing inside view of a Gaudi house

This was an inside view of a Gaudi house and. One of the best things we did on this trip! The details were amazing. The only downside was the strange exhibit at the entrance and the “visual experience” (movie) at the end. No need to add to the house! It was stunning in and of itself.

Highlight of our trip!

Casa Batllo was a highlight of our trip. The audioguide was excellent, would definitely recommend. They scared us a bit that the AI experience at the end would be too much or we would get claustrophobic, but the door is always open and you can leave at anytime.

After the Sagrada Familia you will want to see more of Gaudi's work and this is the one to see.

Incomprehensibly beautiful. This very large private home is a combination of beauty and ingenuity. The first two floors strike the visitor for the unique decorative style of Gaudi but the upper floors begin to reveal Gaudi's architectural inventiveness. How he achieved ventilation and comfort in this mediterranean environment is very interesting.

I had a problem downloading ticket on app but very helpful agent live chat via WhatsApp and solved in 3 min. Exploring inside the Casa Batllo was very impressive, although it was bit hot inside. Definitely worth it.

Wonderful architecture

For the Blue Experience, they give out audio guides at the start of the tour. I find it's enough and need not do the Gold experience. The tour itself is nice. As long as you listen to the audio guide and not be bothered by the hoards of people... However, I find the Casa to be a bit warm inside. The a/c wasn't turned on yet and there were some fans scattered around. It was a real relief to be at the rooftop feeling the breeze. Overall, it was a nice experience, beautiful design of the building, all curvy and no angles. Definitely book your tickets in advance. I think they get sold out if you just show up.

The house is beautiful. There are lots of stairs to climb. There is a wonderful bar with tapas on the rooftop with a beautiful view.

Stunning tour. Definitely recommend “gold entry”. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and relaxing! It was organized well and everything easy to understand.

Just do it

A domestic Gaudi wonder

Casa Battló was included in my Barcelona Modernista card, so of course a visit was on the cards. Staff were friendly and helpful and entry was easy as I arrived around 7pm. Audio guide was atmospheric and explained the architectural themes that inspired Gaudi. Was able to see the whole house and get a lovely view of the city from the roof.

One of a Kind

This is my favorite house of all time. Gaudi is true genius. Be sure to purchase tickets ahead because of lines and availability. They are timed also.

Must see UNESCO site

Amazing architecture and design and the audio tour talks you through it well including how Gaudi planned for natural light and ventilation. It is so beautiful; it’s difficult to put into words. Lots of stairs and you’re on your feet the entire tour. The last immersive experience (the Cube) is very interesting and also very loud and stimulating.

Highlight of the trip

Truly amazing building, a definite must see if visiting Barcelona. The audio guide was very informative and easy to use. The rear of the building is currently being renovated and the terrace isn’t accessible, however there is an exhibition showing the work being undertaken and how it will look when finished.

Beautiful and unique! A MUST see

High recommend buying tickets online ahead of time. We were lucky to be there during Sant Jordi week. The front bay windows were decorated with many red roses. Got the gold package which allowed you to visit a fully furnished room with a portrait of the Batlló family. The audiovisual guide with the tablet is a must. It tells you the family history and life in the house. It feels like I’m walking through a fantasy world. Guadi is truly unique and ahead of his time. You end your journey in l a b room 360 visual experience. All 4 sides of the walls, ceiling and floor will be digitally immersed in images.

Truly amazing

Casa battlo is simply incredible. The colors of the facade are gorgeous. Each level has something interesting. Even the roof is great where we stopped for a snack at the cafe. Very crowded. We opted for the gold ticket which was pricey but allowed us to enter right away and see some extra rooms. We were debating between Battlo and casa mila and chose Battlo. We were not disappointed.

Fantastic place to visit, just go early morning or late evening!

Casa batllo is another one of Gaudi’s masterpieces that is a must see! The audio guide is fantastic and gives great insight into the history of the home. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because you have to wait in line even with a ticket to enter and at mid-day it was hot and the house was PACKED with other tourists. I would recommend going early in the morning or the evening to avoid this because the house is definitely worth a visit!

Some very unique and impressive architecture on show in this house. The audi guide was very helpful and had a few VR bits too. The experience at the end in the room was really good

Amazing architecture but not worth the money

Although an amazing space and fabulous architecture, I really didn’t think this was worth the money. I specifically chose the first tour of the day thinking we would avoid the crowds inside but no. We queued throughout or had to work through group tours. Just made for a less relaxing experience. If you have limited time or funds, I wouldn’t bother with seeing inside Casa Battlo, it’s amazing to look at from the outside and for me that would have been enough.

A Must See in Barcelona

A must see in the Gaudi architecture portfolio. I'd give it a five if the organization has better crowd control and no waiting in line out front on the sidewalk. I appreciate the neurotypical staff and mission of the organization to support such individuals. I was surprised at the rooftop garden with a bar that had beverages available for purchase.

You go to admire Gaudi’s brilliance, and you get to do that. Its overpriced though, and just know that it will be crowded.

The I pads that show how the room would have looked back in the day were real nice. It was hard to visualize as a real home when empty and hundreds of people walking around.

Great stop. Totally worth the time. One of my favorite things we did in Barcelona. The audio guide was very cool and different.

A beautiful building, disappointing tour experience

The building itself is beautiful, but the tour was not good. Apparently we picked a poor time of the year to see it, as the crowds were huge. The biggest drawback was the audiotour device, which did not work most of the time for either of us. And the crowd was so noisy that even when it was working we could not hear it, despite the earpieces. REALLY glad we got the enhance skip-the-line tickets.

Amazing! The Gold audio guide was a sensory tie in with what you were seeing. Beyond pleasant voice, there was musical soundtrack that added beautifully. Beyond Gaudi creation, the exhibit includes some modern editions that are as delightful as the original. Don't be put off that an apartment building is not that interesting! Seeing how Gaudi designed light play and ventilation and even the beauty of the service areas are worth the visit

Skip the line tickets

Skip the line tickets - we were able to book easily on Viator when the casa bastillo website had the tickets cancelled. Just arrive when the tour time starts.

Casa Batllo was well worth the visit

Very nicely narrated and intimate feel. I liked it better than my other in person guided tours who were difficult to hear.

Go early!

For any creative person this is a must see while in Barcelona. We were blown away by the design and execution of what is a surreal masterpiece. Highly recommend buying tix for 9am or soon after as it gets very crowded. It was designed as a private residence, so the walkthrough is tight and visitors take time soaking it all in. But well well worth the visit.

An architectural masterpiece

The tour of this house was amazing. The whole building is a work of art and is so unique, you really have to see it to believe it. Each room opens up new treasures to view. The rooftop was a wonderful experience, and gave us a chance to have some refreshments after having toured the building. You learned a lot about Gaudi and his architectural style with the audio tour. This is a must do in Barcelona.
