This was a fun evening and we learned quite a bit about various wines. The food options could be tricky for some but we enjoyed the bites that we had. Only 4 total at our table which was disappointing but we had a nice time.

Really great

Mostly when you have an wine tasting together the food the food is a bit simple but this food was amazingly good paired with the wines. We even had different choices and allergies where no problem at all. There was a great atmosphere with the whole table, everyone was talking with each other so really nice to meet other people as well! Overall, i would really recommend this even though you can think is it a bit expensive.

Probably my best excursion in Barcelona

For some reason, I had the impression this was a bar hopping adventure. it was so much better than that! It was a fabulous 4-course dinner with wine pairings, all local foods and wines (probably worth 2-3 times the cost of the adventure). Plus Vincent provided a great education on all of it. It was lovely.

Exceeded expectations

This experience was a birthday present for my daughter on her 21st. Our Sommelier, Alice, was super knowledgeable about all of the wine and cheese we tasted, and made the event really enjoyable. It was incredibly good value, and every bit delicious from beginning to end. The most memorable part however was meeting great people of all different nationalities and backgrounds, and everyone having a fabulous time. Lots of laughs, and lots of great wine and cheese! Recommended.

Much to enjoy!

We had such a lovely time at this wine tasting. I have been on many wine tasting excursions and this one was wonderful. Vivienne (sp?) was lovely, extraordinarily knowledgeable about wine, and yet presented everything in an accessible way. I had a lot of questions, and she answered them all with a smile! The wine's were lovely (Spanish wines always are!) and there was an appropriate variety of white, red, and cava. And then there was the cheese! And the event was in an appropriately tasteful--even elegant--venue. There was much to enjoy. Thanks!

Good introduction to Spanish wines

It was a good introduction to the Spanish wines. We enjoyed the wines as well as the cheeses that accompanied the pairing. It became a fun night meeting other people as well.

Very great experience

The experience is really interesting and Claudia, the expert that guided us through the tasting, is very prepared on the subject. The experience is well worth the price, the wine and cheese are Amazing and in reasonable quantities

Great experience! Our sommelier, Vivi, quickly established a comfortable yet professional atmosphere. She tailored the presentation to the varied experience levels in our group so that no one was bored or overwhelmed by the information and ensured everyone who chose to participate had the opportunity to do so.

Very informative and fun! The cheese pairings were delicious. We stayed for a great dinner afterwards. I would do this again if I had time!

Fun group wine experience!

A surprisingly elegant gem of a location buried in the labyrinth of the Gothic District. The Spanish wines were presented knowledgeably by Claudia…an Italian…who represented Spain enthusiastically. Our expectations and presumptions of quality and taste were corrected…and at least two new “favorites” we’re established. As for the cheeses offered … not so impressed. Lacked any depth of pairing info. But met some fun people!

Amazing wine and cheese tasting experience

We a group of 11 people booked this wine and cheese tasting experience in the hopes of getting to know some good Spanish wine and cheese. We were not disappointed! The session was very informative and the pairing between the cheese and the wine was absolutely great!

Good wine and cheese

The host was very knowledgeable. The five wines were all different and a good variety from Spain. The cheeses they brought complemented the wine (or the wine complemented the cheese) nicely. They took extra time to pair them appropriately so that we could have a good experience.

Awesome wine tasting experience in the city with excellent sommelière

Tasting of 5 local wines, all of them delicious and well described by an excellent sommelière. Atmosphere was very pleasant — we shared the experience with other couples from all around the world! Recommendable experience!

The best wine bar in Barcelona!

Best wine tasting place in Barcelona! Fantastic wine and great food. We were amazed at the knowledge of the staff and the quality of the wines. We are experienced wine tasters with a discerning palette for good quality food and wine and the experience is as good as a vineyard tasting experience if not better. If you want a unique wine experience without the stuffiness then please give this place a go. They have a large selection of different wines and something to suit any palette. Friendly and engaging, there is something for everyone here and without costing the earth.

Fun start to a Saturday night

It was interesting learning about the different wine regions in Spain and tasting a variety of these. The wines were delicious and we added the cheese board which as phenomenal. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great way to spend an evening in Barcelona. Our hostess Freya was knowledgeable about Spanish wines. We enjoyed the other international guests and the cheese was an awesome accompaniment.

Very Good Value for Money Experience

Vivino’s is a lovely little Wine Bar is situated in a side street in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. We were greeted by Vincent the Owner who was so polite and present. We then met Freya the Sommelier who was also very warming. We thoroughly enjoyed the Presentation about wine making, the regions of Spain and how to select cheeses to accompany your drink. Freya was interesting ,knowledgeable and engaging. After the event she stayed around and helped us select some wine to drink and you also purchase to take home at very good prices. Very good value for money experience.

We had an amazing time! Vivian is quite knowledgeable and charismatic. After the wine and cheese tasting was over, we decided to stay, and have dinner. We also bought a few bottles of our favorite wines. We highly recommend this place to those looking for a fun and relaxing learning experience.

We booked this wine tasting about 24 hours before we were supposed to go and I am so happy that I did. Vincent was so informative and a great sommelier. I would definitely recommend this tasting to anyone that enjoys some wine.

Great local product

Had a great evening last week at vivinos. A cosy environment, mixed with a delicious variety of different wines and cheese made a really charming dinner. Recommendable to anyone looking forward to taste local gastronomy.

Most do experience in Barcelona

Such a beautiful place, we were in town for a couples holiday and did the tasting to get to know more about the local food culture. Wine and food is super important here. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and we met so many nice people in the group. Great way to make some holiday friends. I’d recommend it also if you are single in town.

Definitely worth it!

This was really fun. Evy was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting people from different parts of the world. A small group of only six people definitely made the experience better. A big group would probably have been a bit hectic and we might have missed some things.

The Best Experience!

Vivian was amazing!!! She did an excellent job providing knowledge about Spanish wine regions as well as the steps in a win tasting. She was friendly, educational, and fantastic. I would give 6 stars if possible. It is an intimate setting which we loved. After the initial tasting she went and grabbed the cheese pairings and provided more wine for us! We were welcome to stay and chat after the experience. The wine and cheese were great and I highly recommend. A very genuine and tasteful experience!

All of the wines and cheeses were delicious and well paired, and our guide did a great job of helping us understand where the wines were from and what made them special. Relaxing and fun!

Very intuitive details about the history Spanish wines. We sampled 3 wines and 3 different cheeses, each one delicious.

Not what we expected. It was not so professional, the presenter was still under education. It was not a cheese testing, just got a plate with cheese in the end and then she went away

Not the best

It wasn't in a restaurant, but instead a sterile, office-like environment. Because of the change of venue, all other people moved their reservation so it was just and Steve, which was a little awkward. They also changed presenters halfway through and seemed very busy with other things.

Definitely Do It

It was me and my friend's first time at a wine tasting. We learned a lot about the different regions of wine in Spain. The wine and cheeses were delicious. Vincent was so kind.

Sooooo delicious and fun!

We went for the cheese and wine afternoon. We had never been to a tasting before and the guide was so lovely, the wine and food was delicious and she taught us the technique in terms of looking, smelling and tasting great wine and gave a great understanding of the regions and different grapes. She was also very generous with her time and with the wine! Great time had, I would go again.

Great tasting, horrible shipping experience

This is for a review from October 2019. The tasting experience was fantastic. It was a relaxed environment, good information about the wines in the region, delicious wine and cheeses. Had such a great time that I decided to buy a case of wine. It’s been a year, never received the wines. Emailed multiple times. I received a response saying it had been mailed and she would follow up. I never heard back from the shop owner Vivian after multiple follow ups. By the time, I wasn’t able to contest the charge with my credit card company.
