Incredible tour by Tslila, great mix of traditional and modern Tapas. Learnt a lot about the history of food in Spain and tried things I wouldn’t normally. Delicious!

Excellent experience

Thanks to our guide, Tslila for a really enjoyable evening. A great way to experience a different part of the city and to try dishes we wouldn't normally order. Recommend having a light lunch as there was a lot of food! Highly recommend.

Fun, relaxing and educational experience

A very enjoyable, educational, relaxing experience. We learned a bit about the city's culture and history; enjoyed some good food and drink, and chatted with our personable tour guide, Boris, and some interesting fellow travelers. This was our first walking food tour with this company, and we would recommend the experience. We returned to one of the neighborhoods we visited for lunch the next day.

Best way to experience the city’s food!

Such an awesome experience! Our guide Carla was so fun and knowledgeable. She was seriously the best! The food was out of this world and we tried things that I would have never ordered. Great exposure to new cultures and foods.

An unforgettable introduction to the city

We LOVED this tour. It was the perfect thing to do on our first night in Barcelona. We had been up over 24 hours from our trans-Atlantic flight and were exhausted, but we persevered and had Boris, our guide, lead us around the Eixample neighborhood, sampling about 5 or 6 (I forget) different bars and restaurants. The variety was very interesting, and we enjoyed the different samplings we had in each. We were stuffed by the time the tour was over. We still remember the green spinach croquettes and the regional vermouth!! We were welcomed by each establishment and led to a large table that was sitting there waiting for our arrival. We were then served the tapas plates and a drink. Boris provided explanations of everything. We enjoyed chit-chatting with the other tourgoers across the table. We had a variety of wines and vermouth during the tour - not beer like in the photo. Boris' explanations of the neighborhood and other tidbits were interesting, and I was infected by his enthusiasm for his city and for the FOOD! It was very well organized and prepared for, I thought. The walkabout was kind of lengthy, however, but that is probably because my hubby and I were so tired. Wear comfortable shoes (that goes for everywhere on your trip). I highly recommend this tour when you arrive (maybe get some sleep first), and also ask for BORIS! Tip: We stayed in the "Gothic Quarter" off of La Rambla and took a taxi over to this neighborhood - I wouldn't say it is exactly walkable, not if you're brand new there. It wasn't that expensive, and the taxi driver took us right there. Taxis are excellent in this city. Go for it!!

Could not recommend enough!

We had a great time on our tapas tour with Brais! He made us feel very welcome and gave us some great information on Barcelona and it's food. The food was also amazing and they definitely did not skimp on the vermouth either (huge plus). I would definitely book again in the future!

Great tapas tour with an amazing guide!

This tour is great for seeing parts of Barcelona that you wouldn't typically visit. The food was amazing in all the places we visited and we were very full by the end. The best part of the tour, however, was our guide Carla! Carla was so much fun and super knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour!

Great experience for solo traveller!

Tslila was a wonderful guide for the tapas tour - she was very warm and welcoming and knew all the staff at each location! As many reviews say, there is plenty of food between the four stops, so no need to eat before you come. There was one beverage at each stop, with an extra glass of cava along with dessert, so plenty to drink as well. It was great to meet new people and chat with Tslila. I was a bit late but the communication on where to meet for the first stop was excellent. I would definitely suggest this experience - especially for solo travellers!

Excellent Tapas tour in Barcelona!

Such an excellent tapas tour! Tslila was very knowledgeable about all the different styles of tapas, the regions they come from and where we can find more on our travels. The tour was well run, plenty of time at each stop and lots of food at each. Highly recommend and can’t thank Tslila enough!

Our tapas tour was great! Lots of food and drink. Tslila was fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly. Best thing was the variety of places and tapas types, it made us try things we’d never order otherwise.

Our tour guide Boris was great. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tapas were a good variety of different styles at 4 different stops. We enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic guide and tapas tour

Fantastic guide and high quality tapas. I went on a different tour last fall and came away disappointed but this tour was a 10 out of 10. The guide was fun and enthusiastic and the tapas and drinks were interesting and plentiful. I highly recommend this experience.

A wonderful tapas tour

We had a great time and amazing food! This is a great way to taste the local favorites and experience hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Our tour guide Karla was warm and knowledgeable on interesting historical details of the area and made us feel like you are dinning with a friend. It was also a great way to meet other tourists that have adventurous pallets. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing historical experience!

We booked this for our last night! Big mistake. Book it for your first night. That way you’ll experience the local culture of food and drink in Barcelona days after the tour - instead of the tourist trap restaurants! Boris was an excellent host and guide, a true gentleman and local Catalonian! Boris had great knowledge of the area, its food, the wine, Vermouth, Sangria and the local tapas bars. We met other couples from New Zealand, USA and England. We all had a great time! I would highly recommend the tour. You’ll be full, but not bloated, tipsy, but not too much!

Our tour host Carla was great. The people on the tour were fun to be with. The locations that we went were fine. The food was mediocre and not memorable.

The best tour for our first night in Barcelona

We did the tour with a group of friends, our first night in Barcelona. Brais took us with him and we enjoyed everything. Brais is an amazing guide, he know a lot and loved to tell us everything about his city. It felt like Brais was a member of our group. We enjoyed the time together!

Fabulous food tour

We thoroughly enjoyed this food/drink tour. Our guide BRAIS was engaging and knowledgeable not only about all the tapas and drinks we shared, but about the Catalunia culture associated with all of it. BRAIS was injected humor and fascination information into his dialogue. We enjoyed meeting BRAIS as well as people from other places. It was a fabulous evening. Do not hesitate to book this tour. And don’t eat a big lunch the day you do the tour because there is a LOT of food and you will want to try all of it!

More than just a food tour, with great food

Carla was a fantastic guide. More than just a food tour she gave lots of information between delicious tapas restaurants. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Tapas and more Tapas!

This was a great experience from start to finish. We had an enthusiastic friendly guide, Brais. He has a wealth of information and was easy to understand. The food and drink were plentiful and our four locations were each different and well paced. The entire experience lasted 3.5 hours. Well worth the time and money! Loved it.

Great Tapas tour in authentic Barcelona

We 4 Aussies so enjoyed our night with Gislaine on Wednesday. She made the night very entertaining giving us lots of information on the food and history. It was good to experience the more authentic Barcelona

The taps tour was amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, polite. It was nice to know the history of the places were going and the food that we where trying.

For a tapas tour in Barcelona - this is the one!

Great opportunity for a tapas tour. Would be even better at the beginning of your stay in Barcelona but we had to schedule ours towards the end. Boris was a great guide and provided lots of helpful information on the history of tapas and had a great selection of places for us to visit and try different types of food - and drink of course. All the food was quite good although the spinach balls were one of the unexpected highlights. Opportunity to try some vermouth as well as some wines, and there was beer available instead for those of you who know who you are. The three hours went by so fast, I wish it could have been even longer. The group size of 9 was just right and Boris had so many stories to tell we could have listened on into the night. If you are looking for a tapas tour in Barcelona, this is the one you should consider! Highly recommended.

Great food tour - would recommend

Really great tour. All the food and drink was lovely (and there was plenty of it for the price). One of our party members was vegetarian and she received her own dishes in every place. Lastly, the guide Carla was very friendly and informative

Gislaine rocks!

Gislaine was amazing! Informative, friendly and genuine. We went to four different tapas bars. Drank vermouth (unlike my usual) and ate a variety of tapas at each place. A 10 out of 10. Thank you, Gislaine!

Very amusing, Boris was a great guide

The trip was well organized/prepared and took us to some nice restaurants with some interesting histories. Boris was a great, enthusiastic guide who told us a lot of fun and interesting tales. He was also very welcoming to questions and even took a small detour with us at the end to see some local folklore street performance.

Hidden gems!

Maria was a great host for the tapas tour! She was super knowledgable and very helpful at each stop. Maria was also super accommodating with me as I am pregnant so had to make some adjustments to food/drink choices. Thank you Maria for showing us some brilliant places we would have never found ourselves!

Highly recommend especially for a solo traveler

This tour was amazing! I was traveling in Barcelona solo and booked the event day of not knowing what to expect and had a lovely time! The group was a great time, everyone mingled so well and Maria our guide was great! Definitely do not eat a lot before. We were all so full by the end but had great exposure to all kinds of tapas - traditional and modern

Excellent tapas tour for solo travellers and everyone else

I had my tour with Maria Rosa and it was excellent. So much food, a drink with each meal (you can buy more if you want) and lots of history about the local area. Would definitely recommend - especially for solo travellers!
