Barcelona Sailing Adventure: Small Group Winery Tour & Tasting

Pleasant Excursion from Barcelona

A quaint boat ride to a small winery where you’ll hear the winery’s history, sample 4 wines or so, enjoy some light snacks overlooking a beautiful valley to the sea, and then a smooth luxury van ride back to town. I would do it again if visiting Barcelona.

Smooth Sailing ⛵️

We had a great time. The weather was beautiful and a great day for sailing up and down the coast of Spain. The vinery was wonderful. We learned about the soil and how the grapes are grown and how they make the wine. They had a wonderful selection of wines for tasting and some traditional foods with it. Would recommend this for couples to try.

Beautiful winery

The winery and tasting were very good! Beautiful scenery as well. The sailing part was actually a motor and it was very windy. We were against the wind and the white caps so it took 2.5 hours to get back which was an hour over the tour time affecting our dinner reservations. This should have been explained and the mini bus back should have been offered.

Well worth it! A perfect day in Barcelona!

This was the perfect combination! Sailing on the Mediterranean and Then experiencing a beautiful boutique winery!

Barcelona Sailing Adventure & Winery Tour

It was a great value for the tour, we got lucky with the weather even getting bumped to the earlier time from what I assume was not a full charter at the later departure time. Roman the boat Captain was awesome, had a decent group, drank a few bottles of Cava, and was a great sail. Up to the wine tour, as far as "tours" go was a great one, not rushed but also not too long. Great wines and info, AC'd bus back to the departure spot in marina and gone. If the weather and tours line up it is by far one of the better deals out there and to sail on the Med was a dream, 10/10

Best tour in Spain

Roman was our sailboat captain and absolutely incredible! The cava, wine, and food was all delicious. This was my favorite tour while I was in Spain. So worth it!

DO IT

This is truly a one of a kind tour! The price is EXTREMELY reasonable for what it is - the sailing trip is so relaxing with stunning view, and the wine tasting/tour has stunning sights and even better wine :)

enjoyable afternoon

A great afternoon. Sailing was beautiful and relaxing. Getting to see the America Cup boats practicing was an added bonus. The winery was so welcoming and enjoyable. All very well organized.

Beautiful experience

Our sailboat caption was wonderful. The info given on the winery tour was very impressive and interesting. I learned new stuff. Beautiful winery, great wine. Tasted 3 wines, tasting coach was very good. Wish there had been more time during the wine tasting and had been able to enjoy a full glass or two after.

One of our favorite days in Barcelona

Really enjoyed the sail up the coast, sun was out the captain was great along with nice cava to drink!! The winery was small and quaint with easy drinking wines.

Excellent Tour for A Couple

This trip was amazing. We booked because we love to visit wineries and the one that is part of this tour was exceptional. Our guide, Annette, was knowledgeable and fun. The wine and food was great. The sailing on the sea with additional wine and snacks was perfect. We met many nice people. This is a must do if you want to experience sailing, wine, tapas, and learn more about the region.

Wine tasting must do

We were looking for a Catamaran activity but this was so much more. The family winery was beautiful and the host was outstanding. Delicious local wine. It was a great way to start our vacation.

Slow start but worth it.

Meeting point directions were very poor. Once we finally found the meeting place and the group was organized, the experience was wonderful! The winery was beautiful and the apprentice who showed us around the winery and explained the process was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The sailing was quite rough but we made it back to the meeting point safely.

Sailing away

What a great tri. Loved the one hour and half sail. The guide waited over 40 minutes for us because no one could tell us exactly were to meet. That was very frustrating. However, finally found the sailboat and had a wonderful time. The winery was interesting and we ended up ordering a case of one- which hasn’t come yet.

Relaxing, tasty, and beautiful

The overall experience was a lot of fun, especially the winery tour & tasting. The boat ride along the coast was a little long for our liking but was a lot of fun. They all did a great job throughout the excursion.

Not Good for the money we paid

Captain didn’t talk that much there….presentation wasn’t good.Unorganized on the sailing there.Not worth the money I paid.

Cute winery, but rushed.

We enjoyed our winery tour, but our host only left us with 5 minutes at the end in which to finish our lunch, purchase wine, use the facilities and get back on the bus. The timing was strangely off, but we enjoyed our sail back to Barcelona.

Average experience

I was disappointed with the over all experience of the wine tour. Not much interaction from the skipper on the boat to winery and tour was just ok. We thought we would get lunch as well and only got tomato bread.

Too rushed

This turned into a much shorter and rushed excursion because we couldn’t all fit on the boat, and some of us had to wait for a van which came almost an hour late. Several of us waited on the dock for an hour not sure what was happening. Communication was poor and there should’ve been an attempt to go longer at the end to make up for the lost time - or a partial refund, or something!

I would do this tour every day.

This was an amazing experience and we had a perfect day for it. The vineyard was beautiful with views of both the hills and the sea. The wine tasting was excellent.... wonderful wines and a very knowledgeable guide. And finally the sail was gorgeous and relaxing.

Awesome winery tour

Absolutely amazing winery tour. Although the weather was not the best, the captain provided blankets to keep us warm. Once we arrived to the winery there was beautiful views & a wine tasting with light appetizers. My group had a fantastic time and the sun started to shine midway through the tour!

Sailing/Wine tour

The sailing portion. It was much longer than I expected and it was fabulous. Sat at the front of the boat and got a chance to put my hands on the wheel for a while too!

Canceled on us - twice

We never got to take this tour. They cancelled it twice. Weather was nice but maybe they were short of crew or clients. Took a while to get a credit.

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are a group of 3 traveling through Europe for my birthday and thought this would be a fun experience. Unfortunately for us we booked ahead of time and are only here for 2 days. Firstly, there is no number to call this company to speak to someone. We woke the next morning and it was freezing, we were still going to attempt to go however after 3 failed attempts we couldn’t get a taxi. So we called to see if there was any way to cancel or reschedule since the weather was poor and we couldn’t get a car. I called viator since we tried to get someone earlier in the morning with no luck. Spoke to Natasha who was very nice, while we were speaking my friend messaged the tour and they called her back. Natasha mentioned that she called the tour and they refused to refund us since it’s not their fault we couldn’t get there. We then spoke to someone named Albert from the tour who is incredibly rude and uncompromising. We explained that we had no way to reach them prior to our inability to arrive. We explained that the weather is freezing and asked if there is any possibility for Refund since we aren’t going to make it. He said this was not his fault and that we should call trip advisor for the refund. I was on hold with them and was being told the opposite. So I put Natasha on hold while my friend spoke to Albert who was not listening, and not willing to compromise. We explained that we couldn’t get a hold of anyone, we even asked to do the 2:30pm tour and he said they do not offer one which is a lie. He then said they are at the dock waiting, 15ppl, another lie. The tour description said max of 11. After going back and forth we even asked like 50%? We aren’t going on your boat, we aren’t being guided, we aren’t eating your food, we aren’t drinking your wine. Can you please compromise? He said no initially. We asked to please speak to a manager. He wouldn’t let us. He kept referring us back to trip advisor. Who were still on the other line with. Albert was very rude, gave us a lot of unnecessary attitude. We were very calm in explaining the situation but his unwillingness to budge and him lying in between was frustrating. After more than 10 mins of back and forth and being denied speaking to management he then says let me speak to my manager about a refund. So why give us this grief?! He says he will give us 25% back. Unacceptable!!!! We then pushed for at least 75% back. You’re keeping our funds with zero services rendered. Come on. It’s 60 degrees outside. After us being very determined he agreed to a full refund and then hung up on our friend. He never asked for the booking ID’s or anything. This has been a crap experience and it didn’t have to be. We were willing to show up later for the evening tour despite the weather. His demeanor & tone was absolutely rude and his customer service was atrocious. Do not waste your money. Do not waste your time. Lesson learned.

Overall customer service and experience alone make me advice not to book with this company FACTS: Booked in advance per advice in reviews Weather was not ideal No cabs to take us Couldn’t contact company (no phone number listed) Trip advisor contacted the company on our behalf and was told we cannot have a refund Company called us saying they are canceling and it’s not their fault We ask to reschedule for the 2:30 pm The 2:30 tour doesn’t exist today . Company Offers us tomorrow (we leave tomorrow not possible) ALBERT the representative for the company stated there are 15 other ppl waiting for us (mind you it’s an eleven person limited tour ) Us = myself and 2 other friends Albert and I go back and forth about customer service, availability as well as rescheduling Albert ends the call while I’m asking for his manager.

This was such an amazing experience. The winery is beautiful, the wine was so great we sent a case home and the boat ride back was so nice!!! Highly recommend!

Yes yes yes

Ahhh beautiful sailboat and the winery was great. It would have been nice if the captain spoke better English and was more of a tour guide to point things out on the skyline. Maybe have a something your passengers could read about the skyline. He was a great captain and got us there safely. The wine tour with Sophia was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and fun.

Worth it! Book Now!

The views alone are worth booking this trip. I had the most amazing experience and learned about wine at the same time. The “brunch” they offer is very light so don’t expect to get full. Everyone was professional. The meeting location could use a little clarity but they start and end on time! Please book with them!

Truly Disappointed and Robbed

Absolutely terrible! Got to meeting spot 20 minutes early and no guide. I messaged the guy five times with zero response. I called customer service who verified I was in correct location. Spoke to customer service for an HOUR!! He could never reach the guide either. $250 for NOTHING! Ruined our first day in Barcelona and this tour I was most looking forward to. I will be reporting as I feel robbed of both the experience and my money.

don't do the sailing portion of the excursion!

We had a wonderful time at the winery but we should not have been allowed to sail back!! The weather was terrible and we had 6ft seas. Extremely unsafe and we were never told where the life jackets were til I asked. I would recommend only the winery!

Check the Weather and Dress Warm!

It was very a very windy day, so the boat ride was a bit rough and cold. If you have a sensitive stomach, I would not participate. Dress warm and check the weather first! Once at the winery, the tour and tasting was fantastic!

Great wine

The wine was GREAT! super cute lovely winery. You can tell they love what they do. The boat ride was nice but didn’t really seem necessary and more like a water Uber. We never had a guide just dropped off at winery and picked up by boat. Still a lovely day.

Beyond expectations

The most memorable parts were reaching the wine tasting place and seeing how all the tables were set up!! Too cute! The man who steered our yacht was so spotting and fun, he made it a good experience for all and the ride was smooth :)

Great tour!

What a great way to spend half a day! Smooth sailing and some great snacks on the way to Misnou, then an amazing wine tasting experience in a picturesque winery. Had to ship a case home!

Wonderful tour other than the usual ones

We loved the whole tour and Annette at bouquet delella was so lovely and told us tons of facts about the winery. The wines and experience was a must do. After that we sailed back with snacks and drinks in a sailboat with a super friendly captain who provided some info and tips on places to see and eat.

The Best Barcelona Adventure

We loved everything about this tour. Our guides were great: professional, friendly, personable. The winery was beautiful and the food and wine tastings were delicious. The sailing trip back to port was so much fun. I wish I could remember our captain's name, but he couldn't have been better. He was professional, kept us safe on the water, and was so nice and fun. We also appreciate the staff member who checked us in to start our excursion. She split everyone into 2 groups as usual, but thanks to her, our group was so much fun. We made great friends and got along so well. This was a great start to our time in Barcelona and highly recommend this for everyone. If and when we come back to Barcelona, I will reserve this excursion again. Well worth the money.

Great Experience Overall!

Great tour overall. First the bad: Started off very unorganized, first had to board the boat only to be told that we had to get off the boat to board the bus. Got on the bus and did not receive any kind of welcome or information about the day. Also, at the winery, our group was paired with a public party that included kids running around screaming, climbing on equipment, and throwing rocks onto gravel making it unsafe. Other than that, the winery was fantastic, great wine and views, and the sailboat back was lovely with nice tapas and more wine. 4 stars, would book again!

Fun on Land and Sea

This was the perfect excursion, both land and sea. The captain was kind and attentive to all the guest and the winery was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a good time. It was my first time to a winery and I learned so much.

Excellent Half Day trip

Super fun so glad we did it! The sailing trip along the shore was beautiful coming back from vineyard tour and cool view of Barcelona from the water. Gorgeous weather helped! Wine tasting was fun and the vineyard tour was very nice. Everyone was super friendly, definitely recommend.

Five star experience

My sister and I have been in Barcelona exploring for a few days and both agreed that this is our favorite experience thus far. The experience at Boquet D,Alella winery was beyond anything we expected. Our guide was fantastic- knowledgeable and very friendly. The boat ride back was a blast. We were able to ride up front and enjoy the view of the city from the water. Highly recommend!

Fantastic

We, along with another couple really enjoyed this excursion. Beautiful sail and a wonderful experience at the winery where our guide gave us a thorough explanation of the vineyard and each of the wines. The light lunch was delicious! The small group made for an intimate experience.
