How can you sell me a museum pass for a day when all but one museum is closed? With little effort, you could add a check that warns of this rather than requiring me to study all the fine print.

Planning to use it extensively in Barcelona.

I went to two museums after being told I could only activate my voucher for the Art Ticket at a qualifying museum. Neithe could activate it and told me I had to go to a particular ticket information office in Barcelona. True that was aviator’s instructions. Oddly the tourist office acted as if they never seen it before. Ultimately a supervisor approved giving me an Art Ticket. Cheaper an easier just to purchase once you arrive. The pass will work although I visited 2 museums before I got it.

We definitely wanted to see the Picasso Museum but it was sold out on the day we had available in Barcelona. The pass did the trick and got us in.

Great way to explore Barcelona

The MACBA can exchange the tickets for the passport. Nice way to explore the city and see some truly interesting art and culture.

Waste of Time

The most memorable part of this experience was being told to go multiple places to pick up the passes but no one willing to give them to us. Don’t waste your time or money with this, go straight to the museum and purchase from there

I should had gotten the...

I should had gotten the pass directly from the museum. I’m your case it’s a voucher and I need to use it to redeem the pass. Taxi took me to the advised point of pick up. I arrived there, greeter at the front of the department store said it’s on the 5th floor. An inside store personnel said pick up directions your office given is outdated so he sent me to the basement checking with the info desk. At the info desk I waited in line for more than half an hour and they said they aren’t pick up place. Back in back I wasted an hour of my precious travel time. At the end I visited the museums at my own cost. When returning to the states, I will be making claims for refund.

A bit of a nuisance to redeem

The pass is great value, but the instructions said to redeem the invoice for the passbook at the tourist information office on Catalunya. But they wouldn't do it and sent us to the contemporary art museum

An issue with this passport

There was an issue to get the passport. First we went to Picasso Museum and the employ of the museum has sent us to the Turisme Office to get the passport first. Than the emply of the Turism Office has sent us to another museum, telling us that your company haven't paid them... Than recommended us to go to one of two museums of contemporary art, to get the passport there (one of this museum was closed on Tuesday and the employ of the Turism Office sent us there on Tuesday...) Instead of visiting the museum, this tuesday most of time we were walking in the city looking to this passports. Finaly we received the passports in the CCCB. Also buying this passport online it wasn't easy to me to understand if the visit of the museums has to be realised during one day. Receiving the passport I realised that it is available for a year! It would be nice to have clear information about the time of validity of the passport, buying the passport and receiving the comfirmation online. Just a lack of good information and of the fluent cooperation between the companies. I would recommend to make it easier - the visitor could buy the passport online and to receive the passport in the first museum that is going to visit or to buy it in any of museums from your list.

Offer has changed and you should change it on your website too

Went to plaça de Catalunya to redeem the coupon and they told me they didn't do that any more, so you should definitely update this offering on your site

Excellent option: you just need to go to MACBA and validate your access. Passport valid for one year !!! And very affordable price.

Do Not Buy the Barcelona Museum Pass Through Viator/Tourisme de Barcelona

We purchased this Pass from Viator, we’re told to go to the Tourist information Center at Catalunya Placa to redeem. They said no we had to go to a museum to redeem. We went to Miro they said no we have to go to the Tourist Information Center. Complete circle, so we paid for two museum admissions on our own and contacted the Tour operator listed on our Viator booking -Turisme de Barcelona- through Viator for a full refund and have had no response. From either. THEY ARE SELLING A PRODUCT THAT NO LONGER EXISTS- do not buy this product. If you want this product you may be able to buy it directly from the Tourist Center in Catalunya. She showed it to us, but said it wasn’t available through this offer. What a mess.

Beware this is a scam to take your money and not deliver anything

Beware this is a scam to take your money and not deliver anything. Viator sellers you an all museum pass and they take your money then you download and print your ticket. You go to the Barcelona Tourism office redemption point listed on the ticket. Then you find out they will not give you an all museum access pass They told me to go o one of the listed museums and they would issue the pass. I went to the first one I wanted to visit and they told me they didn’t issue this pass using the Viator ticket. They said the other museums wouldn’t either. I had to pay for each of the museums out of pocket to enter each. As soon as I realized there was a problem I used the Viator App to contact the operator and all that day I received no reply. As of today I still have not received a reply. It seems my money is gone for good. If you don’t want to needlessly throw away your money and waste your time then Don’t Purchase This Product.

Not mobile tickets

Not mobile and not skip the line. Started at Picasso Museum and was told to wait in line to get tickets. We explained it said “skip the line” through Viator. Ended up canceling this and buying tickets directly.

Barcelona Museum Pass

Six Museums were listed on the pass, one was closed on Tuesday-MACBA, the Joan Miro Foundation and the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya were too far to walk, the CCCB-Game Play was not of interest to us, the Fundacio Antoni Tapies showed too much sadness and pessimism, and the Museu Picasso was outstanding, it made up for the other five museums. The Art Passport was a neat souvenir !

We visited Picasso museum and didn't want to leave. So many artworks and we definitely want to go back. Also visited CCCB and it was cool

Disappointing at best

I am so sorry to say, but hopefully you will read this and will not be thoroughly disappointed. We visited at least 3 Tourist Information booths throughout Barcelona. Each one told us we could redeem this pass at ONLY 2 places in the city. Be very careful and look at the fine print on how to redeem the ticket, which by the way needs to be more prominent.

Museum passport

I’m so glad I did this museum pass, it was not expensive and it’s good for a year from the time it was first used. I frequent Europe each year so I will return again to see more art museums here in Barcelona. The really cool part was that I didn’t have to wait in any lines and I saw lots of great art in this incredible city.

Quick access to museums

Definitely made it easy to access to different museums in Barcelona. The only thing is the city tourism office ran out of the passes and we had to go to one of the museum to get it.

Barcelona Museum Pass

This was a great idea and a great deal. Even if you don't see all 6 museums (we saw 4) on the passport it is a cost and time saving. The one slightly negative aspect was the way were greeted at the first venue (Museum of Contemporary Art). There was a bit of a mixup with Tourist Information telling us to just go to the museum to hand in our coupon (they didn't have copies of the current passports or something). The staff were a bit less than pleasant about it, but in the end we got our passport and the staff at all the other venues have been tremendously pleasant and helpful.

The tour was informative and thorough. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. This tour was well worth the cost!

Great!

I think the pass was really great, I’m not someone who would normally visit lots of art galleries... maybe the odd one or two here and there, but it’s given me the motivation to fill out the little passport docket you get haha! But I actually learnt so much more about art and Barcelona through the medium, got to explore more of the city to get to the museums, and got some great souvenirs from the shops, but on top of that, I got inspired! So lovely to stroll around. I am definitely glad that I bought the pass. You save lots of money. Definitely recommend. Plus the pass is valid for a year, but you can only visit the museums once, aside from the Museu Nacional D’art de Catalunya - which you can see twice. :-)

Everything was closed

We got these tickets and we’re really excited but there was no where in the website that talked about the fact the all these museums were closed on Monday and Sunday so we could only go to 2 museum because our trip was just a few days.... it was definitely a bummer I would probably advertise that a little more at least.

Horrible, cheaper to buy in the museum and less trouble

Don't buy it from this site, it says electricity tickets are accepted but actually not, waste us a lot of precious time.

Disappointing

I bought my tickets on viator and despite the voucher telling me to collect tickets from the central information ticket office and that the digital voucher was accepted - it was not and we didn't do the trip because I only had a digital voucher and the tourist office were very unhelpful. Viator refunded me the money but the ticket office was still unhelpful even after I complained on my return home.

Time Saver

The Museum Pass "passport" is a nice keepsake. If you don't mind standing in long lines, then you don't need it. However, we were on a tight schedule. The time savings was worth its weight in gold.

Great Deal! Skip the ticket line

We went to four of the six museums and found this pass well worth it. We made it to the Picasso Museum, Miro, MNAC and the modern art museum. Honestly, the modern art museum was a bust for us. We love modern art (especially paintings), but HVAC units don't qualify as art to us. The Picasso museum was lovely but the collection a bit limited. Miro and MNAC were standouts. We couldn't see everything at MNAC, there was so much. A great reason to return!

Excellent Museum to visit.

The museum was great and is well laid out and structured so you don't wander around aimlessly. The variety of art displayed is amazing and covers many errors. I used the Barcelona Card which got me in for free and I didn't have to stand in line. It is also quit a walk from the plaza to the entrance yet there are escalators.

Great if you are really into Modern...

<p>Great if you are really into Modern Art. Picasso museum was very good, Antonio Tapes is a limited exhibition of his own peculiar work plus a varying visiting exhibition. The photo-journalism exhibit when we were there could have been much more interesting if it had been displayed with any form of logic. CCCB is always a current exhibition, depend if you are into what is on at the time. Museu Nacional D'Art De Catalunya has some very good galleries, pick the period that you are most interested in. Staff at Joan Miro were on strike, so closed!</p>

<p>This is an excellent facilitator for visiting several important museums in Barcelona. After ordering online from Viator, one goes to a city visitor center to obtain the actual pass. There they provide maps, explicit directions, and enthusiastic encouragement needed for someone like me who always fears getting lost! Unlike others on my real tour, I was able to enter the Picasso Museum immediately they had to make an appointment and return later. It is a great value for the price as it covers multiple institutions.</p>

<p>Disappointed, i went to three museums and gave up on the rest of them. Picasso Museum was good, that's why I gave it one gold star, otherwise it would have been zero but I can't give a zeo. The two museums downtown, sit very close too each other, are dismal at best. They are fantastic buildings that should enjoy quality works of art. Unfortunately it is littered with what today's Artist call art. It seems that mediocrity has been accepted as the pinnacle of mastery in their field. And current artist accept it as art because they too can make mediocre art. There is no serious attempt to learn from the masters. Thank God Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini, Da Vinci, Picasso, Rembrandt Dali etc., choose to sweat, bleed, sacrifice and study to be great Artists. Taking a blender painting it white and sticking a pink umbrella with black sunglasses on it is not art, it is your kids being home alone after school fooling around. NOT ART! The museums art is sad. Don't waste your money. Not worth buying.</p>

<p>To fully enjoy this pass you really need to a lot yourself several days of museum touring, though it has a long expiration date.<br/> Our stay in Barcelona was only a few days and they were pretty jam packed so we never got to fully visit all the museums we would have liked to and would have been better off just paying the admission at the few we did get to. Be sure to check the days and hours of the museums, some offer free admission at certain times. If you have the time or are going to be visiting the city several times this pass will save you some money.</p>

<p>Unfortunate purchase for us as we couldn't use the e ticket. When you purchase the e-ticket you are given the impression that you will have entry to each of the museums. This is untrue. When we went to the Picasso Museum they told us that the e-ticket could only be redeemed at the tourist office that were all closed when we arrived because it was the day after 3 Kings parade. The next day we went to yet another tourist office that didn't have the ticket book we have run out so we trekked to another tourist office to finally get our booklet. As it turns out 5 of the 6 museums aren't open on Monday. So for us this turned out to be more expensive than paying directly. We leave Tuesday.. Very disappointing.</p>

<p>If you want to visit some great art collections, this is the pass you need. It reduces your time on line for tickets and increases the opportunities for multiple visits. If you are like me, I can only spend about two hours at a time in a collection so I need multiple visits to get through an entire location, unless it is a small collection. So, the pass is a great savings and time-saver.</p>
