Fun catamaran adventure to enjoy the sunset!

The views of the harbor & sunset were amazing and the live music was very enjoyable! We thoroughly enjoyed this experience & highly recommend it!

Good not great

The views were great and it was nice to be on the water. In terms of what we were expecting, it didn’t meet the vibe shown online. The performer, while talented, was singing pop songs karaoke style with a guitarist. Thought there would be potentially a band and more of a crowd/drink environment.

Overall the ride was good but the bar was poorly stocked and the band was a solo artist not a band as shown in the ad.

Great way to chill out and start our trip!

Great music! It made the night! We took my daughter age 18 and she enjoyed the sunset. Music was enjoyable acoustic covers. The crew was kind.

Indelible Memories

Although my daughter and husband to were very cold and moved to the lower Deck my son and I had an amazing time together. And it was the high point of his trip. The music added to our memories. Thank you for ending our time in Barcelona with joy.

A great way to spend an evening

I really enjoyed this. Was a lovely experience. We had a girl singer & guitarist and they played music to suit all tastes lots of people singing & dancing along

Brilliant little trip.

The boat does a relaxing loop along the Barcelona coast. There was a lovely singer with a beautiful voice and amazing views.

So so cruise, views nice, entertainment lacking.

Due to the advertising photo we were expecting a group to provide the live music. Not sure why, but I was also expecting it to be Spanish music. Also single singer took a long break during the 90 min cruise which if there was more than one entertainer then she wouldn’t have needed to rest her voice.

Great time overall! No live music.

Overall a very good time on a lovely boat. Main downside was no live music. Individuals working on the boat did not seem surprised or apologetic that there was no live music so I get the impression that this is a common occurrence. If you're expecting live music I would steer clear.

The band did not show up

The band was the reason I booked this event in the first place. When the band did not show up all I got in return was a free can of Coke Zero. It was very disappointing.

No sun set on the sunset cruise!

I booked a Barcelona Live Music Sunset Catamaran Cruise for 530pm on 24 Mar 2024. I have to admit, I was disappointed. They sold me a ticket for a ‘sunset cruise’ which returned to the doc 30 mins before the sun set! The boat was open with a roof (no windows, just open breezeways) and it was FREEZING!! I think the concept of a sunset cruise is good and they take you about 30 mins out of the port and then turn around and come back, but it has to be LATER if you actually want to see the sunset. Their ‘live music’ was a single woman on an acoustic guitar blasting through speakers (very loud!) and most songs weren’t upbeat. I honestly didn’t enjoy this boat ride at all…too cold, no sunset, not even colors on the horizon for about $26! The best part of the whole ride was the €4 red wine!! Can’t recommend it…lots of other boat tours…maybe their later departure actually got to see the sunset!

Average experience, not worth the money

The recent 90-minute cruise with City Sailing Barcelona fell short of expectations. While the live singer was decent, the overall experience was average. The ship itself seemed a bit below average in terms of quality and amenities. Disappointed about: Below average ship condition Lack of promised live jazz music Positive: Decent live singer Would recommend for those looking for a short cruise at a potentially lower price point, but manage expectations regarding the ship and entertainment options.

Very pretty

It was nice and relaxing. Very pretty views. Do not wait till last part to use the restroom, only 1 and can be a line.

Not good experience

The Catamaran was late 30 min, the music was terrible and the bar was closed due to credit card terminal failure. It was not nice experience.

Amazing time!

Awesome cruise and amazing view of Barcelona during sunset. Smooth seas and nice music. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

No live music, no sailing

When you book the trip, the title makes you think of high-speed sailing in the sunset while a band performs ... we had no band (but good music from tape) and the diesel engines were pushing us forward... a bit of a shame. It still was a nice trip... but unlikely we would have booked it with a less sexy, but more realistic title.

Lovely weather and views

Plus points Weather Views Solo singer. Not band as described albeit she had a lovely voice. Ok value for £40 I guess. The crew don’t interact or hardly speak More like a river bus / public transport feel No safety talk or advice on muster stations. Very slap dash when docking, smacking into berth. I knocked my arm into a bulk head. No warning or advising to stay seated.

Nice ride

The views were pretty and unlike anything you see from the city. We loved that it was a nice relaxing sunset ride. We did not feel like it was overly crowded. The music was a nice touch

Wrong address made me miss my booking

The address took me to the mall next door, and I spent 20 minutes looking for the place until I missed the booking. Since I didn't actually go, I can't rate the ride itself, but it was a very stressful and disappointing experience.

Do this on Day 1!

This was our 1st and best tour in Barcelona. A day full of the best sites in the city with a knowledgeable and friendly guide, Miguel. He even gave us a few things to add to our itinerary later in the week. I would highly recommend this excursion at the start of your trip!

Beautiful sunset experience

Enjoyable excursion. The bar on board is reasonably priced. There is a toilet on board. Excellent entertainment. Plenty of spaces to sit. I didn't feel like we were crammed in.

Music was good but would have limed to have heard more. Comfortable boat and not over crowded. Beautiful sunset.

Good trip, only let down by other participants.

Just returned from the Barcelona Sunset cruise and can't fault the experience, boat was well presented and sailed on time, the views where just as expected, lovely to see the Barcelona shoreline from a different perspective with the sun setting, and the live singer on board just added to the atmosphere. The only negative was that the boat was packed and unfortunately we had to share the upstairs deck with a load of very loud, and quite obnoxious teenagers who didn't really seem that interested in the trip, just making themselves heard !

Escape the heat & crowds

A fun & relaxing way to see the city skyline and sunset while escaping the crowds and heat. Prepare to get splashed on the lower deck and for it to be windy (don’t wear a dress, hat).

Very comfortable seats with a great view of the city. The music was really nice too. We'd do it again.

Beautiful sunset cruise

This was a wonderful way to see a different view of Venice. The boat was lovely, the staff friendly and the drinks and sacks were tasty. We had an especially nice sunset which was an extra pleasant treat. We have taken a few boat rides while on vacation in different cities, and this one was one of the best experiences we have had.

Relaxing Catamaran Cruise w Beautiful Live Music

Very relaxing and beautiful life music. Weather was crummy and super hazy/foggy so no sunset, but it was still really nice!

Bad experience

The weather was terrible there was so much turbulence and people were actually feeling sea sick. We went to see the sunset but no sun was visible yet we were still out there for 1.5 hours and felt very scary. This was supposed to be on of our highlights of our holiday and was very disappointing, maybe would have preferred to be given the option for an alternative day if weather condition was bad.

A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Amazing views but make sure you sit at the front of the catamaran if you want to listen to the live music, which was very good. It was choppy to say the least. Also some people on the boat didn't seem to be there for the music or the views but just to be loud and cause nuisance.

Too Crowded

The weather was perfect and the sunset beautiful! The boat was nice but very overcrowded and you had to stand in line to get a drink for 30 minutes! They should have a couple of bartenders working when everyone gets in at once, also fewer people. We really enjoyed the girl that was singing, she played songs that everyone knew so it made it fun.

Friendly crew, fun music, relaxed atmosphere. Bigger boat and more people than I expected but better for those not acustom to being on the water.

nice cruise

the cruise met our expectation, it was close from our hotel at Rembla, easy nice ride, we enjoyed the music and the refreshment on the boat, it is nice way to relax at the end of the day

City Cruise is Amazing!

The view is beautiful! The live music was a great touch. Staff is friendly and accommodating, felt like sailing with friends. We went on the catamaran after riding the hop on hop off bus all day with the same company. It completed our perfect day! Great value! I highly recommend!

Come sail away!

Great experience… Relaxing and great for sightseeing! Amazing way to see the city! My son had a great time laying on the net and enjoying the waves.

Great tourist experience

The live music was fantastic, they offer beverages and snacks. The staff is super friendly as well! Great atmosphere

The jazz cruise had no live music so ended up just being a boat trip.

When we arrived for the sunset jazz cruise we were told there was a problem with the boat and this one would not be running so told us to come back at 8:30. Whilst this was inconvenient we happily obliged as we were looking forward to the live music experience. We boarded the boat and when asked where the live music was, we were told it was not on this trip. We were extremely disappointed and have had terrible communication with viator / trip advisor who are refusing to accept any responsibility and offer refund. Avoid booking through this and just head down to the port where there are lots of other companies and ways to book excursion.

Would highly recommend

Really friendly staff. The boat was beautiful, big and clean. The music was amazing. Very relaxing and overall a great experience. We were nearly going to book the later slot again.

Bait and Switch

The beautiful boat you see in the pictures I’m not what you get. I inquired as to the whereabouts of this beautiful boat, and was told that we were going on a different one that was exactly the same… No, it was not. We rode on a boat filled with tables under a roof, a ferry. No refund allowed.

Boring cruise on a slow ship

Slow and boring cruise, it took almost 30 minutes just to leave the port area. Live music is a lady singing american pop songs and a single guy with a guitar. Beer was cheap so 2 stars instead of one.
