Fabulous Bike Tour

Highly recommend this tour, especially at the start of a trip to Barcelona. It really helps orient you to the city highlights and layout. Our guide Sophia was amazing. She taught us so much about the city and was just a joy to be with. She even provided a list of recommendations after the tour that we have been using. Muchas Gracias Sophia!

Great Tour and Tourist Leader (Sophia).

Sophia was awesome we toured around the city and she was very knowledgeable about the history behind each part. Highly recommend for people who want to learn and see more about Barcelona. At the end of the tour she then gave us things to do in the area.

Exceptional tour!

Very well organized bike tour. Our tour guide ensured everyone was safe and not left behind. He was very informative throughout the tour. Very highly recomended!

A very wet day but a cheerful guide

Our tour was unfortunately scheduled for the wettest day in Barcelona for months. We got very wet! Consequently I can't say that I really enjoyed the tour, but the guide did his best to be cheerful and provided a lot of information. The route taken was varied and passed a lot of landmarks. Our guide recommended a place for coffee and churrros near La Sagrada which were simply the best on a wet day, and later gave us suggestions for a restaurant for lunch. We could not have changed the tour timing due to our schedule but be aware that tours are not cancelled for the weather.

Best way to see parts of Barcelona

Kyra was fantastic and so great with our three young kids! She shared lots of interesting information, we especially liked the tradition stories. It was a great way to quickly see some important parts of the city without walking. Highly recommend! I will look for these type of tours again in the future.

Alvaro’s interest in history came across - giving us great information and some good laughs along the way too. I would definitely recommend FTT. Not gonna lie, it was great to have a fellow Texan elaborate on Barcelona. I’ve done a few FTT now, and this has been my favorite. My family really enjoyed it.

Fat Tire bike tour

Ava is AWESOME!

I only had a day in Barcelona and chose to do a bike tour with fat tire on my own. Ava was so great right off the bat and so knowledgeable. I felt like I got to see so much of the city in such a short time and learned so much. She always made me feel safe biking on the busy roads. Thank you Ava!

Bike ride Barcelona

Fun ride. Elly was very informative!! She had great knowledge of the area, the history of Catalonia, and kept us safe. She even dealt with a flat tire by one of our co riders.

Fun way to explore the city

Great morning exploring and learning a bit about the city! Kids loved that we got to bike around vs walk. Pablo was great with our group, very knowledgeable and even helped out several lost tourists along our journey. Would definitely recommend.

A very bikeable city. We hit the major highlights and our guide, Sonja was spoke English perfectly and was very knowledgeable of the city and history.

I really liked riding the bike near the beach! Sam was a great leader! He was so fun and sweet and I really enjoyed his singing and the fun conversations we had together. He’s a super knowledgeable guy with amazing advice.

Super half day tour!

This was a great tour, with a well organized company. The bikes were easy and well maintained. Our guide Sam was really fun and informative, and had great extra spots to see and tell about. My wife and I were super happy to be biking around with a guide so as to not get lost and also stay on the best bike routes.

Fantastic experience seeing Barcelona by bicycle

I highly recommend this tour. We booked a private tour with our family. It was a group of eight of us and the tour guide. Barcelona is an easy city to see by bicycle. It was a lot of fun And the tour guide was super knowledgeable

Tired workout trip but worth it!

It was a great experience, tired the day after but it was absolutely worth it. The Irish tour lady was very caring and she really did look after us and staying at the back! Met some lovely people in the tour trip too! We went to almost every spot in Barcelona and of course the best was Sagrada Familia!!

Wonderful way to see and learn about Barcelona

I did this bike tour with my 14-year old son. We had a wonderful guide, Kyra, and 2 guides-in-training. They were very kind and personable and Kyra gave us great recommendations for our vacation in Barcelona. The tour was a great combination of learning about the history of the city, seeing many of the sites, and enjoying a beautiful bike ride. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide was so lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. We were delayed for the tour and they were easy to contact to get an update on what we could do.

Excellent tour led by Stephen-great information and stopped at many of the main sites in Barcelona! Gave the group time to take pictures and ask questions. Highly recommend! Oh and thanks for the many restaurant recommendations at the end! Much appreciated!

Great sights, learning, and activity!

My dad and I took this bike tour on our visit to Barcelona. Neither of us had been to the city before, and this tour was perfect to see all of the main sights as well as learn about the unique culture of Catalonia. Our tour guide, Kyra, was personable and knowledgeable about the sights and really enhanced our experience in Barcelona! I totally recommend!

A must-do!!

Kyra has a great sense of humor as well as the required knowledge needed for a guide. The exercise was sooo doable. Easy for young and old alike. We saw places we never would have by just walking. Totally worth every penny!!

A great way to get oriented to the city! Kyra was an excellent guide, navigating us through Old Town and pointing out historical sites before guiding us out onto the streets and bike lanes. The bikes are easy to ride and manage. The bike lanes are safe. We had a great time.

Oh my gosh, best bike trip ever! The tour guide we had, named Samuel, was an incredibly fun guy to know and my father and I absolutely loved his enthusiasm! Best way to see the city!

Our family of 6 had a great time on the half day bike tour. We were slightly worried it might be too much biking for our 5 year olds but Fat Tire hooked us up with a great 2 wheeled trailer bike for them and they loved it. We got to see parts of the city we likely wouldn’t have made it to on foot with kids. There were several short stops for everyone to learn about the area, walk around, use the restroom or grab a snack. Barcelona is an awesome city to cycle in, with dedicated bike lanes everywhere and respectful drivers. We definitely recommend it!

Nice intro to Barcelona

Thank you to Michel for giving our family a very informative tour of Barcelona and wonderful restaurant recommendations. This was our second Fat Tire Tour. Michel was very patient with our 9 year old who asked a lot of questions. The stops along the tour were nicely spaced. It was nice to hear something about each location, walk around a bit, and then get back on our bikes. Riding on the fat tire bikes with fenders worked out really well for us, because it rained earlier in the day and there were a small number of areas with wet sand.

Stephen was great! This was our 3rd Fat Tire bike tour (we have also done them in Paris and Berlin). A super way to get to know a city in the first days of your visit. We learned a lot and had fun.
