Barcelona E-Bike Tour: Montjuic Hill and Gothic Quarter

Amazing experience!

The entire experience was fantastic! It was very organized and a lot of good stops/views. The bike ride was so fun our guide was so accommodating and he was always paying attention to make sure everyone was catching up. Definitely recommend doing this experience if you’re in Barcelona 😀

Bike faulty but overcome and great time

Bike tour was very good. Riding was easier than expected with the electric assist. It was a bit of a climb but doable up Montjuic, and great view. Unfortunately one of the bikes developed a broken chain and staff not able to get a replacement bike but 2 guides so 1 of them ended up leaving the group to walk that bike back to the shop. But the rest of us continued on and we had a good time. Guide was very informative and explained history along with the great views and gave recommendations for activities and food that were also great.

Bike through Barcelona!

We had an excellent bike tour with guide Sophie through some of Barcelona's most iconic neighborhoods. The tour started in Citadel Park, a large green space located near the Arc. Sophie provided clear historical context about the park's origins as a former military citadel, and pointed out interesting architectural features and monuments within the grounds. From there, we cycled up to the heights of Montjuic, getting great views overlooking the city. Loved the cactus garden. The highlight of the tour was exploring the narrow, winding streets of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Throughout the tour, Sophie was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensuring the pace was relaxed and enjoyable for the whole group. Highly recommend this bike tour to anyone visiting Barcelona. Just get in shape.

Top notch!

Great tour and great company. Our guides were outstanding- friendly and knowledgable. The e-bikes, thoughtful instruction, and many bike lanes made for a safe and enjoyable tour. The views from Montjuic and Manamar were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Great way to see the highlights of Madrid!

Jacob was an awesome guide, and we loved seeing the city this way! Would definitely recommend this to anyone! Only negative was that it was unseasonably warm today, but he did a great job finding shady spots for us to stop.

Informative and fun way to see Barcelona!

Yes! But not here… incomplete and broken ride.

The tour hit a number of local spots on a 12.5 mile ride. Barcelona is an excellent city for bike touring and safe (bike lanes even have their own street lights!). Ebike was new to our family but we all really enjoyed it. This will be a new way to see city’s for us for sure! As for this specific company though, I’d stay away! Half of the bikes broke in some way (chain, 2 x bike battery and a gear shifter). The guide got lost in the Olympic park and so we never saw the castle that was the main attraction. The guide (Matias) was very knowledgeable about the city and many monuments but was surprisingly unprepared for these basic bike issues with no tools or basic bike knowledge (myself and another guest had to put the chain back on) to allow the guests to continue forward with our ride.

Was WELL worth our time. We got to experience much of the city before heading into Barcelona. Loved our tour guide Mathias. Very informative!!

Our best Barcelona Tour

Best thing we did in Barcelona. The bikes were in great shape and very easy to pedal. We learned so much about the city without it feeling like a history class. The views were spectacular. Luca was easy to understand and very knowledgeable. He was great to chat with and was also so easy to follow on the bike. Just fabulous. We loved it!

Fun Times

We had a really great time exploring Barcelona on bike! We saw many of the historic sights and was even able to go near the harbor/beach. The bikes were easy to use! Best excursion ever!

Fun way to see so much!

We really enjoyed our 3+ hour E-bike tour! We covered so much of the city. Our guide, Sophie, was well versed in the history of the region and shared interesting trivia at every stop along the way. The bikes were great and although navigating around pedestrians was a little tricky - there are more bike lanes and more consideration for bikers than I expected. Would highly recommend!

Fabulous cycle tour of Barcelona

Fantastic morning, learning all about Barcelona, our guide Nandos was exceptional. We would certainly recommend this activity to anyone who is wanting to see Bracelona in a slightly different way.

The best way to get acquainted to Barcelona is by bicycle.

Barcelona is a great city with so many things to see and learn about. A bike tour covers so much more ground that you really can take it all in within a few hours. The ebikes made the going easy, even climbing Mont Juice. Barcelona also has a great bicycle route infrastructure so it was easy and very safe. Our guide was so knowledgeable and set a great pace with plenty of stops for photos and commentary.

Zooming around Barcelona with ease!

Sophie was our tour guide and she was knowledgeable, easy to follow, and easy to understand. Her restaurant recommendations were absolutely terrific! She did a terrific tour for us!

Great day on E-Bikes

I would definitely recommend this tour, great way to see the city. The bikes made it easy to get around, and Sophie our tour guide was awesome and extremely knowledgeable.

Great way to see lots of the city!

Great way to see the outlying areas that you can’t walk to easily from downtown. Sophie was a great guide. She was so personable and kept everyone engaged. The small group size of 7 was great. Highly recommend.

Great bike tour & Spanish history lesson!

What a great experience! It was a little rainy when we started out, but they provided ponchos for those who didn't have raincoats. Sunday morning at 10am was a great time for the tour. Fewer pedestrians to impede our progress. E-bikes were very helpful going up Mt Juc. Great views and a wonderful guide who was so knowledgeable about the history of the area we visited. Etienne made us so much more aware of the history of Catalonia. We loved all the info he provided! We highly recommend this tour. With the ebikes, it was compete doable for 2 60-year olds who aren't triathletes! Etienne made site no one was left behind!

Very informative and fun tour.

Sophie was very knowledgeable and just a sweetheart. She took time with all the ladies to make sure they were comfortable with the bikes and biking rules in BRC.

Our guide, Tomas, was very pleasant and informative. Better than the Big Bus by a long way. Stopped where the best views were. Great value for money

Great Cutural Experience

First, I must note that we were contacted the day before and asked if we wanted to upgrade to a Segway tour at no additional cost. Of course, we said yes. We are glad that we did because I don't think that I would have made it going up those hills on a bike, lol. As we went through the city, we learned a lot from our guide. It was an amazing cultural experience. His personality and childhood experiences were added bonuses. I definitely recommend the tour.

Great way to see the city!

We took the bike tour with Arnou and it was great. He shared a lot of cool information on Montjuic, the 1992 Olympics, Santa Maria church, Christopher Columbus statue, Arc de Triomf, and other sites along the way. Before we headed back to the office we stopped for a cold drink and a nice view of the city at a bar above the Olympic pool. We cycle a lot and I still found I needed time to adjust to riding an ebike, mostly braking. It came in handy going up that hill! There are quite a few tight turns and maneuvering around people and traffic so be sure you're comfortable with that. Arnou also helped me practice my Spanish! Lots of fun!

Fun bike ride up the mountain

The biking was fun and our guide, Etienne, made is so interesting. He was engaging and so knowledgeable. Loved it! He gave us a restaurant recommendation and several of us took him up on it and the food was incredible, just as he said it would be!

Fantastic. WE enjoyed so much the 3 hours went so quickly

We had a wonderful young man as our guide, very knowledgeable on a variety of topics that we talked and asked about. It was great fun and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bikes were great and easy to get up Montjuic Hill . We took lots of photos and he took photos of us together.

Best Tour Ever!

Great tour

This was a great tour. E-bikes are such a great way to cover a good part of the city in a short time, even on hot days without much effort. Our guide Sharon was excellent and accommodated our requests. The views from the beach and Montjuic are excellent. The pedestrian paths are busy in places but you can go at your own pace. We felt safe.

Fun and lovely views

Kids loved whizzing up hill with minimal effort in the heat. Guide was patient and informative. Actual tour was 2 and a quarter hours as it took a while to allocate bikes to all and then practice.

Fabulous way to see Barcelona in a morning

A brilliant way to get around Barcelona quickly and effortlessly. Nando was a wonderful guide - with impeccable English. Our family of 5 (3 teenage boys - 16, 14, 12 yo) loved the electric bikes - whether going up mont juc, biking into a lush Greek garden, careening down cool, tree-lined streets or zipping along the coast - past the harbour and all the beaches. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Great tour experience

Such a great way to tour the city. The route was primarily bike lanes and very safe. Our wives enjoyed the experience as well and the bikes were reasonably simple to use. Great having the electric power as we toured up Montjuic Hill. Our guide Sophie was very knowledgeable and the perfect host. 10/10!

Bike ride through Barcelona

Steven was amazing. He showed us around to all the best spots to take the best shots of the city. He was very patient and such a great guide. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Good guide with a nice route

We had a great Tour, seen a lot of this beautiful city. As we were in a very small group we had a lot of time to talk with our guide. Mario has a lot of knowledge about the history of this city and got us to a lot interesting places. The E-Bikes were powerful, sometimes they pushed to much so you have to be careful driving.

Fun way to see Barcelona sites

We had a great time on our e-bike tour of Montjuic Hill. The staff was friendly and helpful when we got to the shop. There were a lot of different groups, but they managed to get everyone fitted with their bikes and helmets in record time. We began our tour with a lesson on how to ride an e-bike, which was great for me because I'd never ridden an e-bike before! The tour guide, Hector, was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. he was a good tour guide - telling us the next stop and at the next stop sharing interesting stories and facts. On our way to Montjuic we made a couple of stops that really added to our understanding of Barcelona's history. Hector was attentive and answered all our questions. He was focused on safety but was also fun.

Great views, enjoyable e-bike trip

Very enjoyable e-bike trip as we learned about the major landmarks of Barcelona, and climb up to Montjuic heights, Olympic torch and more. Oriol, our tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. He was very courteous and accommodating for every single person in our group of 5 people on this tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Half refund after management promised full refund due to faulty bikes

Multiple bikes broke down during our trip causing four of us to almost be injured severely. Our tour guide was super nice and apologetic, so we do not blame her. The management promised us a full refund on site, but she only ended up giving us a half refund after we had already left.

Fun ebike in Barcelona

We had so much fun and wish it could be longer :). The instructor was great and the city is just amazing.

Outstanding E-Bike Tour!

This bike tour was so much fun! It was very easy to locate the office which is right down the street from the Arc de Triomf. No one else signed up for this tour, so it was just our guide, Claudio; my husband; and me. Claudio was absolutely fantastic! It was our first time on e-bikes, and he gave us some time to get used to them. Then off we went to explore the city! We stopped many times to learn more about what we were seeing and to take pictures. The climb up Montjuic was the highlight of our ride with the amazing views and the Olympic sites. And the e-bikes made the climb completely manageable! I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a different and enjoyable way to see the beautiful city of Barcelona!

Wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our ebike tour of Barcelona. It was a great way to see some beautiful sites that we would not have otherwise experienced. Ankre was the most wonderful guide and ensured we had a safe and memorable experience!

Not worth it - guide no value and bikes only okay

It was fun to see some areas of the city by bike we weren’t going to see otherwise. However, the guide Niko didn’t add much value to the experience - it seemed he just wanted to get it over with. We only stopped at around half on the listed spots, while stopping at others not listed. The bikes were okay - several in our group had trouble with proper gear shifting and mine didn’t provide much electric assist. I would not book the tour again.

Bypass the gridlock on an e-bike for a nice view from the mountain

This e-bike tour was a wonderful way to explore the city - the bikes worked great - fantastic to be able to use the many bike lanes and easily cruise up the mountain (we only would dare do that on an e-bike) to get a view of Barcelona from above. Tomas was great - chatty and knowledgeable.

Excellent Barcelona Experience

Great tour in German

We, 5 germans did the tour with Anna, our Spanish guide, who had been able to answer all questions in german. It had been a great trip and now we know much more about the city. It´s a recommendable idea to visit a city with e-bikes. I will surely recommend this tour to more people.

Enjoyed our e-bike tour

Family of three (dad, mom, teenage son) enjoyed this e-bike tour. Hector did a great job as our guide; allowing us to go at our own pace and stop for photos as we desired. We appreciated the e-bikes to climb the steep trek up to the top of Montjuic. We saw the main sites there including the Olympic pool and the fabulous views of the city. We also saw the Olympic stadium, Palau Sant Jordi, Christopher Columbus statue, and the National Art Museum of Catalunya. Highly recommend this tour! Best way to traverse Montjuic Hill!

Great views and good times!

Great trip to see parts of Barcelona you would (probably) not walk to with great views of the city. The e-bikes make the trip incredibly easy and enjoyable. My two teenage daughters said it was their favorite thing we did in Barcelona.

Satisfactory but not stellar bike tour

We enjoyed this ride, and the guide provided interesting information on the area and related history, but he was hard to hear and he did not guide us well through crowded streets. He navigated his way around, weaving here and there, and pretty much expected us to intuit and follow. We are experienced bikers and take many tours when we travel, so we were able to adjust, but we did not feel our guide was as well-trained in leading a group of bikers as he might have been.

Amazing

David, our guide cycled a bit too fast at the beginning of our trip. But he adjusted to our tempo. Hè was an amazing guide!! We saw many interesting things and amazing views!! The best way to visit Barcelona in my opinion. The electric bikes were helpfully for the climb uphill and the hot weather. Don’t hesitate, just book this trip!

Fun on bikes!

Really great experience. Enjoyed the small group of 6. Guide was wonderful. Only problem is that one of the bikes had a flat and we had to wait to get bike replaced. Otherwise wonderful tour. Bikes easy to ride!
