Very welcoming and homey!

Despite being late to the class, they were very welcoming and accommodating. I liked how they were patient with everyone’s skill level, took the time to take candid pictures of you (sent over for free after), and allowed you to really be creative and experimental. I Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

interesting and fun

It was my first time doing a ceramics class. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and i have the impression of having learned a lot. The class is very well concieved and organized. Wendy and Eric are lovely and the whole experience was a lot of fun. let's see how the cup will turn our now.

Amazing experience

Together with two friends we booked the ceramic cup making workshop. In the midst of Poble Sec there is a very cute atelier where Wendy and Eric host their workshops. I loved the experience from beginning to end as this couple explains everything very well and they are just the nicest people. First they explained a bit about ceramics and how they make different designs. Thereafter, we got our own hands dirty and tried three different techniques. After smashing our three little designs to the ground, we could choose our own technique and build our ceramic cup from scratch. I have enjoyed every last bit of the workshop. So much that I didn’t want it to end (the three of us stayed a bit longer because we are perfectionists). I look forward to seeing the cup soon, we will pick it up in store, but I heard you can also ship it to any country very safely. Thank you Wendy and Eric for this lovely experience and your kindness, I would 100/10 recommend.

Best place to make a mug in Bcn

My partner and I came to Taller Gingell in February 2024 and had a fantastic time creating our own mug from zero! Wendy was a very professional yet accommodating instructor, checking on our creations throughout the making process. The whole session was in English and Spanish. 10/10 experience Bonus point is that we were sent some pictures of us during this experience ✨

A Break From The Norm!

A really great day was had by all. Wendy and Eric were fantastic hosts, very knowledgeable and helpful. I was pleasingly able to craft my first ceramic cup on the day with the host's attention and guidance. The pair run a bespoke Ceramics studio and it's clear they love the craft they've dedicated their lives with. A fabulous way to spend some time and create something unique. No hesitations recommending this service to anyone. An enjoyable experience.

Highlight of our trip

We absolutely loved this experience, it was the highlight of our Barca trip. It was very special to be able to make your own mug that you can use everyday! Wendy and Eric were super friendly and knowledgeable and provided the right amount of science behind ceramic making! We loved it. The delivery costs were on the higher side, so would have loved to see different courier options for delivery but excited to see how they turned out. Highly recommend this!

Made me fall in love with ceramic

I booked this 2 hour workshop with a friend in December and I liked it so much that I decided to gift it to my entire family for Christmas. Needless to say, they all loved it. We had an amazing time working on our mugs and learning new techniques with Eric and Wendy and we left wanting for more. This is a perfect relaxing, bonding experience and Eric and Wendy are amazing talented professionals. I can't recommend it enough. Leave your phone outside and gift yourself some creative hours

Wonderful Ceramic Cup workshop with Wendy and Eric

Our experience at Taller Gingell with Wendy and Eric for the Artisan Ceramic Cup workshop was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, we were immersed in creativity and guided by their expertise. The hands-on experience and the end result were both incredibly rewarding. We loved every moment of it! We highly recommend this place, go try it out and I bet you will love it too!

The Taller is so quaint: a piece of art itself. It was exciting to sit and make a cup in the very space where Wendy and Eric create their works. The workshop was great: engaging and fun. The mug making experience was amazing. Eric & Wendy know so much about the clay and techniques to help anyone along. They are super patient and even though many of our group were not finished their mug, they allowed us to stay much later and nobody felt pressured to finish also! Exceeded all expectations!

We picked this offer for the price; the experience was priceless! Wendy & Eric are a charismatic, patient, fun, and professional couple who have all the tools and experience to turn beginners into ceramic fanatics. The techniques they teach in the beginning make the difference from just 'playing with clay' to actually creating a piece that lasts. Be aware that you won't be able to take the cup home right away, but instead receive it some weeks later after it has properly dried and they glaced and burned it properly.
