Had absolutely no problem with Viator but the company chosen to do the trip didn’t turn up or didn’t make themselves obvious and when we tried to email the company they never bothered to respond not very happy as it was supposed to be a birthday treat to go visit three countries in one day

Amazing Andorra, France and Spain

If you want to see Andorra... go!

Amigo Tours was very helpful in emailing ahead of time to remind clients a out their upcoming trip. Pretty easy.location to find near the foot of La Rambla, at the train station. Tour drives for about 1:45 before a stop at a roadside station for bathroom and coffee/snacks (note, there is no bathroom on the bus). Another hour or so to the small French village for.an hour stop. Enough time for grabbing something delicious from the Bakery and to check out the hot springs and dip your feet. Note, the public toilets in the village do not have toilet paper, so being tissue. Also note.... on a Sunday, some shops may be closed. Another hour or so and head up to the lookout. For us it was a crazy downpour or rain and the road was shut on the mountain. So it more time in Andorra. 2.5 hours. In Andorra... there was time for lunch or a snack and plenty of time to shop on the main street. Then a 3 hour drive back to Barcalona, with a pit stop again for coffee/bathroom break.... Carlos the tour guide kept things running smoothly and really stayed out of our way and didn't really speak too much on the bus.... which was.good for everyone wanting to take a nap.

Stunning views

Really enjoyed the trip. The views were stunning. Carlos was a great tour guide. Highly recommend this trip to check Andorra off your list of countries visited!

Great tour

It was a very nice trip, Carlos was our guide, he provided a lot of information about the cities that we visited, recommended places to eat and was always paying attention to all details to make our trip memorable.

Tour was cancelled in process

Tour was cancelled 90 minutes in and we never saw a thing…. Just three hours of Barcelona rush hour traffic

A good practical long day trip to and through Andorra,

I liked the mountain pass views, and the views of Northern Spain on the way back to Barcelona. The guide did a good job of explanations in Spanish and English. The trip wisely included brief rest/snack/WC bus stops between Barcelona and the hours for lunch and outdoor tax-free shopping streets down in the valley. Most of the time there was free time for the main shopping drag. It is a little tough to meet for such an early start in a place where dinner the night before was 20:00-23:00 or so, but its the only way to get a look through Andorra on a day trip. While you do go through some miles and a brief village stop in France, the trip is mainly through Northern Spain, with a brief mountain stop in Andorra, and a long free period in the Andorra valley shopping/dining center.

Beautiful Views

The views on this tour were amazing! I loved going to France and Andorra! I thought the Capital of Andorra would be smaller and quaint, but it is very commercialized with a lot of brand name shops we can find at home. I would have preferred a more local atmosphere, however the restaurant our guide took us to was local and fabulous. My favorite was the town of Ax-les-Thermes in France. Very traditional and beautifully nestled in the Pyrenees Mountains. A trip like this would have been better on a smaller scale as it took a long time to load and unload the bus at each stop but overall, it was a nice tour.

Andorra France day trip

This was a full day trip and back by dinner time. Wish there was more time at each spot but due to the distance just can’t. Everything we expected and the weather was great

Andorra the hidden beauti

Our tour guide, Dani, is a lovely person with extensive knowledge of the area. Both he and the driver managed our time well from start to finish, ensuring we arrived at each place on time and had ample opportunity to explore. His recommendations for restaurants were exceptional. We would definitely take this trip again in winter if we return to Barcelona

Nah!

Too loooong! I thought we should have stopped at this much nicer, colorful, seemingly more interesting place we passed by before the boring old French town.

Amazing tour

The tour to Andorra and France was really good, Sasha is a very good guide that was always available to answer our questions. It was a big surprise to us when we went to the top of the Mountain and saw snow there. I totally recomend this tour and guide

Get out of town!

We enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the charming French village, the Pyrenees mountains and Andorra. The guide, Dani and driver were both excellent.

Fantastic, well organized tour. You should be prepared for cold and snow in Andorra. In the beginning of May it was snowing.

Excellent Tour After Finishing Your Barcelona Bucket List

It is an excellent tour, and I recommend it after visiting all your favorite Barcelona spots. This one takes all day. Daniel was an outstanding guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. Domingo was a safe driver, and he did a great job. I scheduled a Spanish tour, but this one was both in English and Spanish, so if you cannot find one in English or Spanish, ask the organizers; maybe you can get a bilingual tour. 700 to 900 - Driving Time 900 to 930 - Breakfast / Bathroom Break at a small cafeteria 930 to 1100 - Driving Time 1100 to 1200 - Arrive at Ax-les-Thermes, Ariege, Occitanie. You have the following options here: Enjoy the thermal waters, go up a hill and use the binoculars, or explore the town to get souvenirs, cheese, or wine tasting. 1200 to 1330 - Driving Time 1330 to 1600 - Arrive in Andorra. We had time to explore the main street with free Wi-Fi, see the famous bridge and Salvador Dali's clock, have a meal, and shop. 1600 to 1715 - Driving Time 1715 to 1730 - Restroom break at the same small cafeteria 1730 to 1900 - Driving Time to Barcelona My seat was on the driver's side of the small bus, and on the way to France, I enjoyed terrific views of the Monserrat mountains, towns, and villages. From this side of the bus, I could also record the border crossing with the French flags.

First time in Spain

The trip was amazing. The bus was comfortable. Our driver Cedric was fantastic in keeping us safe and dealing with multiple weather changes and road conditions. Our guide Carlos, was an awesome story teller regarding the places we visited. On the bus, he told more stories and kept us entertained with his witty jokes and comments. Overall this was an excellent experience.

Much driving with not much to see

Many hours in a bus (although in description seemed to be otherwise). Mountain views are beautiful, but there is only one stop for 10 min to get out of the bus to enjoy them. Otherwise only from the window while driving by. Thermas pools- nothing much to see as well as the capital of Andora. If you expect more than shopping there, it is not worth going by spending so much time just driving. The guide seemed to be just tired of his job, no much interest and passion comparing to other guides during such trips.

Awesome journey!

Soaking in the hot springs and Lunch in Andorra overlooking the main road at KRAM. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent.

Although a long day the scenery was spectacular and well worth the time taken to complete the journey.

Great day out

We had a great day on this tour. It was a long day but really comfortable mini coach and we enjoyed the escape from Barcelona and got the opportunity to visit another country Andorra! We were lucky and had a smaller size group of approx 18 people, our guide Enrique was really helpful, filled with knowledge, happy, engaging and we liked his laid back style. Really enjoyed Andorra make sure you go to the old quarter, it was lovely with narrow streets, and excellent cheap eateries with set menus of the day! Much preferred over the shopping section of town for us. The French village was also a lovely stop!

Great trip Carlos 👌. Stops could be organized a little bit better to allow for more free time for the groups. But we know it's difficult to get everyone to follow all directions. Beautiful Towns and architecture. Strongly recommend it.

Worth it, ok for families. Photos, eating, shopping in three different countries.

We were unsure about spending an entire day for this trip, but it was completely worth it. Putting my feet in the hot springs in the Pyrenees, walking through Andorre- it was definitely worth it. Carlos’ kept us on schedule and shared very interesting facts on the trip. The “autocar” was really nice- soft reclining leather seats, lights and air vents for each person and the temperature was kept nice (we went jn April). Leandro the driver was excellent- very safe driving through windy roads. The van was very smooth, too. Lots of bathroom breaks- great for little kids or adults with the need to “go” frequently. A note for families: this is mostly a shopping / eating / photo trip. Don’t expect to have lots of time playing in playgrounds, etc.

Great tour guide!

Tour guide and driver were great! Tour is pretty good, just a lot of driving. That's what you get for being able to see 3 countries. Be sure to bring dramamine if you get car sick on windy mountain roads.

Great bang for your buck!

Carlos was an awesome guide - really helpful and knew his stuff! Our driver Leondro was great as well! All in all, a great day trip from Barcelona - and affordable too!

Beautiful views and cool experience

We spent a wonderful day touring beautiful sites with Carlos and our driver Tony The only negative experience that my group had was dealing with some motion sickness from the bus ride on the way there. Also if you don't do well in elevation, this tour may not be for you!

Three Countries in one day…

Our trip was just wonderful. Our guide Carlos and the driver Tony were excellent. Carlos was extremely knowledgeable, patient and funny. He gave great recommendations for shopping and food.. My daughters and I really enjoyed our day. I hope you are lucky enough to get Carlos as your guide.

Great Tour Experience

The trip was very ejoyable and I got my money’s worth. My wife and I were seated right behind the driver. I observed entirely how he drove us from Barcelona to Andorra and back. His eyes were focused on the road and his hands were glued on the steering wheel. I never observed he lost his cool. He is a driver you can trust to drive around the mountain ranges of the Pyrenees. He had never slammed the brakes to stop on the traffic of Barcelona. Our tour guide Daniel, anticipated the needs and safety of all passengers. Very pleasant demeanor throughout the experience. Stopped and briefed us at places very interesting to all. He gave us ample time to explore on our own. Folks if ten is the highest rating, I gave this tour an 11 for excellent experience!

A must-do!

We loved this trip! The stops were amazing, and the locals at each stop were so helpful. Loved the amount of time at each stop. Danny was our tour guide and he was soo nice and knowledgeable, and I was extremely impressed with his Spanish, English, and Catalan skills as well. If you’re on the fence with booking the tour… book it! You are stepping foot in multiple countries in one day! The scenery is breathtaking and the experience can’t be beat.

Was a good trip. The only wish for it to be a great trip perhaps the extended time at Andorra de Vella instead of just two hours. Personally thought was a bit rush with the time. Shout out for the great tour guide & driver with their effort & commitment.

Lazy guide.

Carlos, the guide, got a bit lazy. We had to park in another part of the town in valle, so his guided tour was not of any of the old city but just a walk down the shopping lane pointing out shops and McDonald’s. I don’t need a guide for that. Ad for the old city where I needed a guide, well he just pointed and said it was fifteen minutes in that direction. Lazy.

Nice trip away

This was a nice trip outside of Barcelona. I enjoyed visiting the quaint towns and seeing the different scenery. Our tour guide, Carlos, did a good job narrating the tour for us and explaining the different areas.

3 country tour

Danny was our tour guide. We had a good trip. Only thing I would say that didn’t give them the 5 star was they didn’t show up on time in the morning. It directions say show up 15 minutes before and everyone was there waiting for the driver and tour guide to show up. Otherwise worth the tour.
