Incredible view

The view was the most memorable but the service was terrible. They had a large party and we were forgotten. They did not offer any apologies or compensation.

Disappointed

Special anniversary dinner and reservations. Food arrived lukewarm and was fair. In middle of dinner, we were asked to move to a different table so that they could combine our original table to seat four guests. We were dismayed but complied. My lavender hand sanitizer spray disappeared in the transfer. So disappointing for a special occasion and inflated prices. Very sad way to treat guests.

The views and food are just well worth the money spent

I had a business dinner and we opted for the 4 course dinner. The service as soon as entered was amazing. The waiter, NOK really was outstanding and the food was excellent. We had the best seat at the side and we took lots of pictures. It's not cheap but worth every penny.

Unpleasant surprises

View was spectacular but we were sooo happy it didn’t rain. Plan to spend AT LEAST 3 hours because service is painfully slow. Also, be sure to ask for wine and water prices because they don’t offer them and costs can add significantly to price of meal!

The sky is the limit

Amazing sky bar on 193 meter Amazing service same hight. Amazing food! All together highly recommend And thanks to Boom 1 and colleagues!!

Wonderful rooftop experience

We had a wonderful meal celebrating our wedding anniversary. Stunning views, great service by Ohm and the set menu food was delicious. We had a anniversary dessert and also they surprised us with a photo of us at the table, printed to take home at the end of the meal. Really special touches. Thanks so much, definitely recommend!

Fun Rooftop Experience with Fabulous Contemporary Mexican Cuisine

A memorable experience of food, drink, view, and places. It is located on the top of Penny Hotel. Please ask for indoor seating if you want serious dining, the outdoor terrace has small tables better fit for drink and snacks. All cocktail drinks are beautifully presented. We order dishes to share. It seems that two person can use two small ones and one family ones. The octopus is exquisitely prepared. The steak with bone marrow sauce was equally great. The setting is young, modern, not crowded, yet very festive. Our waiter was very helpful. The staff seems really enjoy the place, which made the entire dining experience joyful.

Overall, it was amazing experience!

I had the pleasure of experiencing Vertigo & Moon's 4 Course Premium Set, and it exceeded all my expectations. The Grilled Snow Fish with its delicate flavors and the refreshing Piña Colada dessert were the highlights of my evening.

Memorable start to the holiday

What a perfect start to out Thailand trip. Magical to sit outside, fun to have to all dash in when the warm rain came. The evening ran smoothly because of our great host (nickname Beer)... Thank you for making it so special!

Very unhappy 2/10

They were horrible to my taxi driver when I arrived and they basically told him to go away when he was a beautiful man! They wouldn’t let me in the bar because I had jandels on! And I must say they weren’t cheap and looked very respectful ! But it was ok for women to wear similar to my Jandels and be in there as I found out later that night !And then my girlfriends son arrived to the hotel and was meeting us up at the rooftop bar and he wasn’t wearing shoes ether so I was told to taxi for 15minutes and buy some for him as he didn’t have any with him and he was 2hrs away from his house! So after 30 minutes or so complaining to the manager they finally decided to borrow him some shoes or I was going to leave the hotel! As I told them I was going to propose to my girlfriend that night! Later that night as I was holding my girlfriends hand and was proposing to her a staff member interrupted me and put a plate of nipples between us and we had already eaten! So I had to move the plate and start all over again! I still can’t work out how he didn’t see the gold jewelry box in the middle of the table! Anyway apart from that it was nice! But I must say the bar drinks are way to much too ! 3 beers and a wine was 2300baht ! I won’t be going there again!

Different from offer

When the deal was dinner and unlimited drinks with an amount worth 400us ++. Atleast the dining place should allow u to have the drinks . Unfortunately the drinks u still have to buy but unlimited drinks at a below bar after the dining and the bar sucks . The drink was even worse . It’s not about the price or buying drinks but plse don’t fool us by saying dining and unlimited drinks . On top of that the food sucked and not an elegant as it sounded. Never will go there again .

Vertigo Restaurant Not worth

Hotel services and Vertigo restaurant services are 5-stars but Vertigo food was 3-stars. The quality of prime steak isnt high standard inthe first place, and theres no cooking techniques at all but just a piece of dry meat without taste. Not worth the money and time there for food. Just goto Moon Bar for the drinks and view is sufficient.

I want my money back ! The service was terrible they bring me the menu with the dishes and started to serving me the food after 2 hours and if waiting wasn’t enough they changed my menu according to the food that was available at the kitchen

Amazing Bar, Food and Service

We visiting Vertigo on the first night in Thailand after booking the 4 course and unlimited drinks package in the bar below. On arrival the waitress new it was a special occasion, (thank you IAsia Thailand for arranging) and the staff were all very kind in congratulating both of us. Following that, we were both treated like absolute royalty! We had a free welcome drink to start. They also offer to take a photo of each table against the beautiful Bangkok skyline which makes for a wonderful memento to take away. They also taught me how to take the perfect photo! The food was excellent, we were. not rushed and the staff were at hand throughout the night. We also had the 1hr unlimited drinks package included so after dinner, we went downstairs to Vertigo TOO and drank 4 glasses each (you choose from 20 on the menu, alchoholic or non alcoholic) in an hour and had 2 bar snacks (crab cake and truffle fries) The views from this bar are beautiful. Of course it is more expensive than some of the lower roof bars and anything at street level but definitely worth it and this is really a once in a lifetime experience.

Virtago Rooftop Dining

My meal was excellent, price fix menu had steak and fish choice as main course. I chose steak it was cooked perfectly. Presentation and service were impeccable…and of course the view was absolutely wonderful! The waiters/staff will take as many photos as you want! And you get a bonus souvenir photo!

TOO PRICEY. MEAL WAS CHEAPER ALA CARTE. NOT WORTH IT

I tried reserving this resto but they said they were fully bookes. So i was forced to book this highly exoensive set meal dinner which was way overpriced. The price was unreasonable. Waiting period for.food took 2 hours while we were freezing in cold wind. I got sick afterwards. There were no long lines to skip so it useless to book this tour. Next time just go directly to the vertigo restaurant. You can order ala carte at cheaper price and there lots of available table.

As advertised a stunning viewpoint

The location is as advertised, nothing short of breath taking. Dinner at 6 allowed for sunset photos before dinner, our waiter was most accommodating taking our photo with my phone several different times. The 4 course dinner was served to perfection allowing time to eat and gaze between courses, the food was excellent! This was with the price and excellent value.. recommend it very highly!

World class views.

World class views, with food and service to match. Highly recommend checking this place out, if you're in Bangkok. Get above the hustle and bustle and appreciate Bangkok from a birds eye view. 6pm is a great time to eat there, as the sun set at 6:13pm and you have two experiences then, Day time/Night time.

A night to remember!

I had amazing dinner at Vertigo @ Banyan tree, stunning view, great food and outstanding services from Mr. Lek, Mr. Fluke and Mr. Folk really impressed and appreciated it. Although this is not my first time here, I am still think it’s a perfect place to enjoy your special time and I will definitely will come back again.

Once in a lifetime experience achieved here

We had a great time at Vertigo. We made a 9pm reservation, and sat on the outer edge of the roof so we had a perfect view of the city. We requested this prior with IAsia agency who delivered. The 5 course food menu was excellent; the cocktails were spot on and the staff couldn't have done more of us. We pre-booked the dinner online so we only paid for the drinks. The restaurant and bar were pretty full (Saturday nights usually are), but it didn't feel crowded. The atmosphere is very intimate. Nice for a date, birthday or anniversary. Tip 1 - Book before as while we ate, there was a waitlist queue and we went straight in. Tip 2 - If you have a celebration mention this before as IAsia arranged a free birthday cake for my wife. Tip 3 - Ask the waitress to take your picture as they have a nifty trick !

Beautiful views of the skyline and city

We had a great time at Vertigo. Made a 8pm reservation, and sat on the outer edge of the roof so we had a perfect view of the city. Thanks to IAsia for confirming our request. The food was excellent; the cocktails were spot on and the staff couldn't have done more of us. It was aa mind blowing experience The restaurant and bar were pretty full but it didn't feel crowded. The atmosphere is very intimate. Nice for a date, birthday or anniversary. Recommended.

Top notch food and service

If you want to splurge on a fancy dinner, then come here. This is on the top floor of the BanyaN tree. We had the 5 course meal booked prior. The views as you enter are breathtaking, truly. You will be gobsmacked as we were. The food was top notch and so much of it. The staff were attentive and looked after us well, what you would expect from this high end restaurant. A highly recommended special evening inn Bangkok!

This was such an amzing experience our waiter was extremely friendly and went above and beyond for us. we really appreciated that he made the experience so special. The food was absolutely amazing and the view was out of this world!

Go for just the drinks

Fine Dining? I don't think so. Yes the view is fantastic, but that's really what you came for, and drinks. A couple of my guys made the mistake of ordering food, and that was that. Overpriced food with absolutely no flavor.

INCREDIBLE BUT DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Incredible! Stunning views and AMAZING service. Unfortunately, our flight was changed due to HK flight bans, but the staff were accommodating and managed to get us through the 4-course meal in 1 hour. So accomodating! We would love to return again, where we can take our time and enjoy. However, DONT BOOK ON TRIPADVISOR, SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BANYAN TREE ITSELF. The lovely NICK, from IASIA claims this is the local price, however, as per the last picture and speaking to the members of staff, he is incorrect. The price listed is what the restaurant informs you of when you scan their QR code for their menus. This tour company is trying to make an easy profit from innocent, naive tourists. Go direct.

Amazing Roof-Top experience

On the 59th floor of the Banyan Tree hotel, 'Vertigo' is easily one of the best roof-top bars in town. The food/wine are not cheap, but with a view like that, one can indulge,especially as it was my birthday! We ordered a bottle of SAfrican red (2300B) ,which came with bread and creamcheese. Then,softshell crab salad as Starter (620 B),and Black Chicken Burger (850 B) , Seafood Linguine (1580B) as main course. The main courses were too large,and we should have stuck to one Starter and one Main course,especially as we had tucked into plenty of bread and creamcheese. When they heard it was my birthday, they brought a small delicious choc cake, sang song, blew candles. Made my day-! The service was superb (Steward Saw,thank you),and the evening was amazing. Most impressve,was to see the large,multi-level rooftop restaurant full ,on a Monday evening, with the stewards wending their way up and down the stairs effortlessly. Great to see that Bangkok is living very well with the Virus,indeed. Bravo

Great Views - Slow Service

Kaye - Florida (USA) I'm giving it a 4 star because it has very beautiful views at night. You are literally at the highest outdoor point in all of Bangkok! Otherwise, based on service, I would give it a 3 star. Not saying the staff was not nice and pleasant - because they were very polite. They just were not nearly as attentive as other bars/lounges in Bangkok. Took a while for a server to notice we were sitting for some time ... after being seated by the same server! Service was slow. Had no one to direct us to the rooftop after getting off the elevators. Elevators a bit "eery" ... perhaps because they are kind of small and dark - and they are a bit slow climbing. Took a while for a server to notice we were sitting for some time ... after being seated by the same server! Also, it got a little chilly up there at night (December 6, 2021) ... maybe 73 degrees (?) They have a very limited menu for drinks and bar bites - if you are not eating at the restaurant. Overall, a nice night time attraction ... but wish the service was a little faster and more attentive.

Staycation mode

We had dinner buffet at vertigo resturant, the food was so good and the view was so stunning. It's my birthday month, so I got birthday cake and they sang birthday song with ukulele, I was so surprise. The staff is so nice as well.

Amazing rooftop

I came here for celebrate my birthday, everything was perfect. Good view, good food, good service. The waiter his name Benz gave us good service, he provided the things that we wanted, I was surprised that they sang birthday song for me and friend that made me very impressed. Worth with money. I recommend you to visit once.

A perfect evening at vertigo

The evening was perfect. We chose the 5 course meal and this was excellent. The staff were so attentive and they really made us feel special. We sat right at the edge and had a 360 view of Bangkok. This was the highlight of our trip to Bangkok. It’s pricey but worth every penny. Thank you I Asia Thailand for all the arrangements, the seat requests and also giving us great information!

End of holiday treat

A very special and beautiful setting with very good service, food and wine. Somewhat pricey but given the setting and the amazing views, it was to be expected!

Spectacular view

My friend and I booked in advance a table for two to dine at this amazing place. As expected, the menu was quite pricey, but it was expected given the unique location. The quality of the food was reasonable, although I was expecting more for the price we paid. In any case, it is highly recommended if you want to see Bangkok at night.

This will be the highlight of your Bangkok Visit

After watching the hangover movies, this was a must on our bucket list. We booked well in advance for the 4 course meal. I Asia booked our seats and our dietary requirements. We arrived to the roof top to see a huge amount of people in a queue but we just gave our names and the hostess then took us to our table. The table was right at the side of the rooftop. We had the best views ever and the courses were so tasty and presentation was superb. The staff also took a free photo of us. In all this was the highlight of our 3 days in Bangkok. I would absolutely recommend you book the meal. We booked with Viator and prices were around 20% cheaper with I Asia than going direct to the Hotel.

Great Views - Arrive with an Appetite - Instagram Friendly

Stunning location and will not disappoint. Loved the menu...delivered via Android tablets (first time my kids took an interest in the menu 😁). Ming was our host for the night and he was very attentive. Ordered gin and tonic, which arrived very watered-down as was the Orchard Soritz. Top tip - ask for the tonic to be delivered separately. Kids loved the experience but be prepared to spend double London-prices for chicken nuggets. You can order from the Moon Bar nibbles menu after 22.30/10.30pm if you're not that pekish. Portion sizes are respectable all round. Presentation in line with what you can expect from a Banyan Tree property. Complimentary family photo was taken and delivered with our dessert (along with little chocolates). My young kids are into instagrammable places and food at present - this one won't disappoint if you're looking for something similar.

Unique experience

Food was excellent! Waiters speak good English and are easy to understand. They even took great photos of us. The view is fantastic. Even if we were at the roofdeck, it didn't feel humid. It was breezy and comfy.

Stunning Views over Bangkok

As one would expect the restaurant is on the roof of a very nice upmarket hotel in Bangkok and the Vertigo Grill and Moon Bar is a wonderful place to have a drink and a meal. The food was michelin star and the service great. The Tuna tartare was delicious, i licked the glass. It's not the cheapest place but certainly worth a visit. I would go just for the view of Bangkok. We booked with I Asia for the 4 course and recommend you book ahead. We booked 2 days before and I Asia came back very quick and also we had the table at the edge! Amazing views and their prices are better than walking in yourself. A good tip is to have a drink at the moon bar so arrive a little bit earlier.
