A wonderful experience full of learning and laughter !

My wife and I joined 8 other guests for a night of Thai Cooking at the Silom location. Our instructor was Song who was beautiful and very passionate about traditional Thai Cooking. This was much more than a Cooking School - it was a total experience! We had the opportunity to learn about traditional Thai cooking and enjoy time with other tourists from around the world (our class included guests from France and the Netherlands. This is a must do experience in Bangkok! Happy cooking.

Perfect evening

I’m a picky eater so didn’t expect to enjoy the food however was surprised at how tasty it was! The host was great fun and made it enjoyable the entire time and the group we met only enhanced the experience. Would definitely recommend and go again if I’m ever back in town!

Tingly's Evening Thai Cooking Class

My husband I took took the evening class as we did not have time to attend the market portion. It was an excellent class, well organized and taught by Song, a natural teacher! The gave me the confidence to return home & successfully prepare both the curry & sticky rice dishes. I highly recommend this Bangkok experience! It was so much fun & VERY educational! Julie N. Evening class with Song

I did a Cooking class with Song She is an excellent teacher, very friendly and instructive. It was very nice to prepare 4 meals, and the meals are so delicious and tasty. We loved and recommand this class !

Great for the family!

Char was amazing! We took our 4 kids youngest was 7 and she made everything like the rest of the guests. They treated her so well. We were blown away by the information given to us by Char. Definitely knew her stuff. It was clean, efficient, and extremely tasty. They thought of everything! If you want a fun interactive and educational cooking class this is the one!!! We will be coming back for sure!

Beautifully organised and delicious dishes

This class was brilliant! The highlight of my time in Bangkok by a long way. Delicious meals, beautifully organised and such lovely, funny, attentive teachers. Great veggie options for those who don’t eat fish/meat too! Oh…and the food was EXCELLENT! Can’t recommend enough.

Amazing cooking course!

This is a must do while you’re in Bangkok! The instructor was amazing and funny and really involved everyone in the cooking process. We made four different courses and learned all about the different Thai dishes. Make sure to come hungry because you will be stuffed by the end!

I fulfilled a life long dream while participating in a 3 hour Thai cooking class with Cho & lots of new friends. Cho is a real pro. Everything is well planned & organized while feeling spontaneous & fun. I learned so many interesting things about Thai cooking, ingredients and equipment. Very well organized and fun class. Tip: arrive with a big appetite because there will be a lot of food! Learned about large variety of unfamiliar spices and herbs. The instructor made the class very enjoyable. She even helped arrange a taxi afterwards because we were having trouble with our app. What a lovely person. Thank you!

Unleash your inner chef

An incredible find is Tingly Thai Cooking School. The instructor steals the show; she is truly remarkable. Her name slipped my mind. Apologies! She is the best, though. She connects with every student instinctively. Everyone feels empowered to unleash their inner chef because of her encouragement and patience. Go no further than Tingly Thai Cooking School if you want to learn Thai cuisine. It's an experience you'll cherish for a lifetime. I'll go back when I'm in Bangkok.

Worth it! So fun.

I would recommend this class to anyone, go and have fun and great food. So easy to find and everyone was welcoming and entertaining. We learned how to make four dishes!

Fantastic intro to Thai cooking!

This was my second cooking class at Tingly Thai. I’m very impressed with the new location. We made almost identical dishes to the ones I made in 2022. But it was great to get a refresher. Song, our cooking instructor, was lively and fun and cracked a lot of great jokes. The group experience was a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to trying these recipes again at home.

Great experience learning how local Thai people cook at home.

Really great class our teacher was very informative but also funny and entertaining with many laughs. The dishes turned out great and got advice on how to modify if I can’t get the special ingredients back home. You get a cookbook at the end so don’t have to take notes . If you like to cook this is a must do!

Great cooking experience; poor VIATOR experience.

Our flight was late and we had to reschedule to the following day. Viator refused to accommodate; however, Tingly was more than gracious to accommodate! The class was well organized, clean, concise, informative and the chef was amazing! She was funny, super informative, helpful and a joy to be with! I recommend this class HIGHLY. You may want to go through the school itself rather than Viator.

Cooking class

The cooking class was great, cooked 4 dishes and had time to eat them all with those we couldn’t finish we got to take away! Song was fabulous and informed us of all the ingredients we were using as well as making everyone laugh! Highly recommended:)

Great experence through Tahi cuisine

Excellent class and experience , Cho is a great teacher. She took us in a wonderful trip throught the Thai cuisine, techniks and its ingredients. I recommend the experience for sure

Excellent class. Song is warm, witty and the recipes are delicious. I highly recommend this class. Even though I was a solo she helped everyone fit right in. She stayed late to make sure my taxi arrived when I was having trouble.

Great experience!

Wow, what an amazing experience! We went for the dinner class, and cooked three delicious Thai dishes and had mango sticky rice for dessert. All the ingredients were fresh and we were shown how to cook them authentically. Our guide Song was awesome too! She was super friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was following along while also making us all laugh. This was great fun, absolutely recommend it.

Amazing experience

An amazing experience to be repeated. Our teacher was very helpful and fun. The food turned out great and you were able to make it according to your taste for different spices. In the end they give you a recipe book which is also very helpful. Lots of food! But whatever you can't eat, you can take with you

Great experience and fun date night

Such a wonderful experience! Song was our teacher and she kept the class entertaining. Enjoyed the small class size, each person having their own station and eating the meal in stages over the course of the evening. Learning how to cook things from Scratch was quite eye opening. Food was plentiful and delicious

Master Chef Experience

Signed up for this class as a nice way to meet other BKK travelers. Ended up getting a private class and it was pretty awesome. The 1-1 attention was great but what I loved most was all the information. I really felt like I learned not just how to make certain popular Thai dishes but that I walked away with knowledge about the ingredients, the history of the dish and even how to make accommodations for different ingredients in different areas and how it will affect the flavor. Seriously amazing experience, kind teacher and super tasty (large portioned) dishes.

Must do in Thailand!

This is the best cooking class I have ever done! Cho is amazing and so informative. She makes the class very engaging and fun! Everything is very professionally done and there is so much attention to detail that made our experience way better than we expected. This is one of the best activities we have done in Thailand, and the food is incredible! Some of the best! You’ll regret not taking this class!

Freaking Amazing!

This honestly was one of the best experiences we had in Thailand. Our master chef, Cho, was AMAZING! She was super knowledgable and wholesome. She cared about our class and the students. The food was amazing beyond belief!

CHO WAS AMAZING! This was some of the best Thai food I had on my trip, and Cho did such a good job of explaining t the process, and making the experience so entertaining. We were really taken care of and all our dietary restrictions and taste preferences were taken care of.

Learn tasty recipes from Thai Chef! Recommend!

When I travel, I try to do a cooking class with locals and I’m really glad I did this one. We made a four course meal with some of my favorite dishes—Tom yum goon, pad thai, massaman curry and mango sticky rice. There was even a surprise treat at the end. Thanks so much, I highly recommend!

It was definately an excellent experience. I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to learn basics of Thai dishes and main ingredients. We could smell and taste all the fresh ingredients and it was such a sense-awakening experience. And the place is super clean and our instructor Cho was so humorous, kind, cheerful. I‘m honestly a really picky person with all kinds of activity experience😅, but this class met even my all standards. I loved it.

She was super helpful with the recipes and telling us about the ingredients we were using. The food was so good I couldn’t believe I cooked it myself! I 10/10 recommend this class. Best ever authentic cooking class

Me and my two friends had a fabulous time. We learnt how to make a 4 course meal. Learning how the various ingredients and flavours go together to make a mouth-watering Thai dish was such a great experience. And you get a little cook book after the class so you can continue to make the dishes in the comfort of your own home.

Amazing experience and delicious food!

We had a fantastic time here - so much fun, as well as informative and interesting. Well worth the time, even if you have to travel a little to get here. Only downside was that it’s ruined all other food for us, because the meals we prepared were so delicious! 😉🤩 100% recommend 😊

I didn't know what to expect, but the course was amazing. In-depth explanations of every subject, a lot of knowledge and all the time a smile on my face. And the big surprise, it was very tasty from what I cooked. warmly recommended.

Excellent cooking school!

Took a course one evening in mid September, and really enjoyed the whole experience! Our teacher was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny to boot. All four of the dishes we made were delicious yet not so difficult to make. Great value too. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to try Thai cooking.

Tingly Thai cooking class review (10/10)

My family and I (2 kids) had a wonderful experience at Tingly Thai cooking school. We were taught how to make 4 different types of traditional Thai dishes and they turned out delicious. The staff assisted us in terms of the recipes, knowledge of ingredients and more, but the best part was the cooking and eating! Tingly Thai cooking class had a very clean environment: (after every dish we cooked, the next set up was ready for us with a clean cooking space). They were very organized in terms of the set up of ingredients and it was very evident that they look at every detail to ensure you have an excellent time. Overall a 10/10 experience.
