Great Sites, Very Poor Guide

My son and I arranged for a three temple tour. While the temple experience was really enjoyable, the tour guide was not. I felt that we were unnecessarily rushed through the temple grounds; constantly asked if we were interested in other touring options ( boat tour, shopping, tailor tour, food tour, etc); and given the impression that the tour guide had something better to do. At the end of the “tour” I mentioned that we were hungry and wanted to pick up something for lunch. The tour guide dropped us off at a restaurant and then informed us that we would have to take a taxi back to our hotel (we had paid for hotel pick up and drop off). The real insult to the experience was the tour guide asking me to tip her as she was leaving us at the restaurant. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

there was no one else on this tour so it was like a private tour for us, worth every dollar and more. Pim was so knowledgeable on all the sites and was eager to share with us. we got a really deep understanding of the sites and came away from this tour completely satisfied. Thank you Pim!!!!

Great, informative but relaxed tour.

Bond was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide that was open about her own experiences as an everyday citizen of Thailand. Very helpful and personable - informative without feeling like a lecture, and happy to answer any question I could ask. 10/10.

Temple Tour including merit and Thai language help/tips

Jojo took time with me, teaching me the history of the temples, but also spoke Thai and English with me when she found out that I was learning Thai. She helped me make merit at each temple which was something I’d dreamed of doing. Fantastic trip!!!!

The Guide makes the Difference!!

Our tour of the temples was a private tour, not a small group. Our guide was Kanchana Thongbai, nicknamed “Tar”. My wife and I have traveled to more than 60 countries, and have used guides in many of them. Most of them know their country facts and most know how to show you around. So our expectation was we would have a nice tour. But Tar is not just any guide. Tar was as much the experience as the temples themselves were. Her energy, knowledge and guiding skills were super great, but what set her aside from almost every other tour we have been on was her deep seated interest in finding out what her clients were interested in. Trip Guru is just another tour company, one among many. But the reason to go with this company is for this guide: so if you want the experience we had, you have to ask for her.

Beautiful temple

Wat Arun is almost directly opposite Wat Pho, so it’s very easy to get to. From Saphan Taksin boat pier you can take a riverboat that stops at Pier 8. From here, a small shuttle boat takes you from one side of the river to the other.

Nicki was so nice and has sooo much knowledge, it was just me and her on this tour. Saw some lovely sights, a short trip that fit in perfectly with my day. Once again nicki was brill

Lovely tour of three great temples

Had a great day with Tar as our guide. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Tar made myself and another couple (who were great fun) so welcome and was always on hand to take photos and videos of us. The temples were really beautiful and worth seeing. An early start meant it wasn't too busy at each which was fantastic for taking great photos. Well recommended. Thanks again Tar for your hospitality! Jackie

Excellent temple tour!!

A lovely tour that I highly recommend. Rose, the tour guide was excellent. I was the only one in the tour that day and Rose provided ample information and shared a lovely conversation about topics that interested me. I highly recommend this tour!

Jacky is the best! He was very knowledgeable and tour is very informative. He was also very patient taking our pictures. This is a highly recommended tour for those who are restricted with their time in Bangkok. Two thumbs up!!!

Great Tour for layover in Bangkok

Our small group tour turned into a private tour as my husband & I were the only people booked on the tour, so we were very happy! Due to this the tour company was able to customise our start time to our schedule. Our tour guide Nancy was great! She had good local knowledge, was easy going & had a good sense of humour. Overall great option for a layover in Bangkok.

Very nice day visiting Bangkok's temples tour with Mr Dusit guide

The 3 temples we visited were beautiful and the tour guide (Mr Dusit) knows a lot of things about Thailand and gives very good hints about Bangkok, I really liked this half day tour. We were just 3 guests, everything was very good, it was not difficult to find out the meeting point near Mo Chit BTS and the tour was with an air conditioned car.I really recomend Mr Dusit guide ! Fun and informative

Had an amazing time goimg around the temples in Bangkok. My tour guide Sammy and tour driver Boy were very accommodating and polite all throughout the trip. Sammy provided all the information i needed to know so i can go around Bangkok with more confidence. Also, I truly appreciate him offering to take photos/videos for me. Die Tour war sehr schön. Diese Tempel sollte man auf jeden Fall gesehen haben. Jacky, unser Tour Guide war sehr nett und hat uns viel erklärt. Da ich alleine gereist bin habe ich mich sehr gefreut dass er so nett war und ganz viele Fotos von mir gemacht hat. Kann diese Tour auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
