Temples are a must see

It ended up being a completely private tour - me and the driver and the tour guide! Roy was as knowledgeable and also arranged for us to use elevators to avoid the slippery conditions on stairs in the rain, which I appreciated. The temples are beautiful. I was happy to not have to stay for an hour at a temple when k had seen everything - which is what was set up for a small group tour. English was a tad bit difficult to understand but it was attempted.

Fabulous Temple

This tour was fascinating from start to finish what an amazing place, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour, essential to have a personal guide as without you would miss the history.

Gorgeous!

This tour was included for us on our pre-tour of a Mighty Mekong River cruise. It's gorgeous and really something to see. We highly recommend going. It does get crowded but really worth seeing.

Excellent guide in Bangkok

Mr. Chartchai was an excellent guide Not only did he have comprehensive understanding of Thai culture and history, he was very passionate and generous in sharing these. He was also humble enough to take interest in our point of view and a very patient listener to our questions

GREAT WAY TO SEE THE TEMPLES

Was good to go out early as the heat was too much if you went later. The temples were amazing and Luk our guide told us lots of interesting tales and history. She also explained some of the beliefs like banging the gong. We were lucky to see a new monk ceremony and his family all there supporting him Didn't feel rushed and were able to see everything at a good pace. Would recommend.

Perfect afternoon in Bangkok

Meow was a wonderful tour guide. I was very interested to learn how to recognize country of origin of various Buddhas and the different poses. The visit to the jewelry center was a-maz-ing!!! Very happy.

We had a great time seeing all the temples and the amazing Buddha statues. This is definitely something you have to see in person to fully appreciate. Our guide was considerate, knowledgeable, and fun. I recommended this tour to anyone going to Bangkok.

Must do - private tour- the best

I recommend the private tour of temples. We arrived at opening time, it was nearly tourist free, cooler and so nice to be driven. Jenny my guide was so knowledgeable, kind and sweet- she expertly guided me through the temples tour, I loved her!!!

Bangkok temples

Both Marble Palace and Reclining Buddha were spectacular. They got us to site early before crowds. This is our first Viatour experience and we were impressed with guide and driver.

Not too long and jam packed with interesting sights

I had a great experience with my personal guide who was full of information and took enough time at each site for me to be able to have a good look around. I learned a lot of history and have some good memories to go along with my photos

Good temple experience

Good way to experience the city temples and city vibe. Knowledge of the cities history was great! Do wish we had a stoo to shop alil bit.

Introduction to old Bangkok temples

This tour includes 3 temples in the old town of Bangkok including the famous Wat Pho with the Reclining Buddha. There is a lot of history involved including the different types of Buddha statues. The guide had a bit of problem expressing herself in English - this was the only drawback.

Tum tum was the best

This was an incredible experience. The temples were gorgeous and Tum Tum was amazing. She was very well versed in all the rich history and extremely attentive to me. I did start to feel ill because of the heat so definitely drink alot of water and bring a fan if possible. Tum Tum was prepared with an umbrella for me. I highly recommend doing this wonderful tour.

Lucky I had Luck as a guide!

The tour was amazing, the temples were stunning and so beautifully peaceful. But best of all was my tour guide Luck. She was brilliant, informative and her English was excellent. Great half day tour

This was a great half day tour. Going in the morning we beat the crowds. Our guide was very knowledgeable and may the morning very interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Sprint through the temples

The overall tour felt very rushed. We saw three temples but didn't have sufficient time to fully experience the beauty of each one. This was our first tour of a three week trip in Thailand and is was a least favorite tour guide. Although she was friendly and contacted us in advance of our hotel pickup time, her overall knowledge of the temples we visited was limited. There was too much conversation about personal feelings regarding the country's current king. Not to mention personal stories and picture sharing of the guides cat.

Well organized trip and our tour guide Han was very knowledgeable. I like when he gave cold bottled water after the temple visits as it helps us to feel comfortable due to heat .

Very recommended for those who target to go deep about Thai culture and buddhism. The tour quite well conducted by the guide giving all kind of secrets, tips, ways of living, stories and traditions of Thailand. Wat Poh temple is amazing!!!

Great way to see three temples efficiently

Vanchai (our tour guide) was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was prompt for pick up and the tour schedule went as expected. The air conditioned car, drop off to each temple, and private guide are worth the value of purchase.

Private Tour with not much information

We took this private tour, but we got very little information from our tour guide as to the sites we were visiting. When I asked questions, I got very high level answers. I have had private tours that were much better than this one. The tour guide was very strict with the rules in the temples and even went around scolding random visitors at the sites. I can not say this was very memorable.

Temple Tour

This was a well organised tour with a hotel pick up/drop off option. This private tour includes the price of tickets for all the temples and an air conditioned vehicle which was much needed in the heat! Our tour guide, Panya, was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own too! Highly recommend this tour

Great and efficient tour of the must see temples in Bangkok. Pearl was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide and gave us all good insights in both Thai history, culture and Buddhism. A very hot day, but we were lucky as we had booked the early tour. Pickup and drop off at our hotel worked perfectly.

Private tour with hotel pick up. Our guide Pearl was lovely and very knowledgable, she was very accommodating to help us with the heat. Pearl arrived on time, gave lots of advice and helped take photos of us. Also recommend the morning tour - we arrived at the Grand Palace when it first opened and it was very, very busy. My best Temples Tour in Bangkok, thanks to outstanding guide TumTum

For years, everytime I stay in Bangkok, always do a tour of the Temples, visiting Wat Pho and Wat Traimit and some other This time it was really the best visit I've done ever, thanks to the quality of the guide TumTum from Tour East Thailand, that I booked through Viator/TripAdvisor. The visit was very complete, the guide explaining lots of interesting details I've never heard before in the precedent tours. On the way to Wat Pho we had also the opportunity to stop a little bit in Chinatown as I'd like thanks to the great disponibility of the guide and the driver. From all places we visited I have a complete and fantastic photo reportage, thanks to the skill and always the dusponibility of the guide Tum Tum. I do recommend this tour, from Tour East, and the fantastic guide Tum Tum, to all travelers to Bangkok and next time I'll book my tours with them again.

An excellent afternoon, jam packed with temples

Saw temple of the Golden Buddha, the reclining Buddha, and the Marble Temple

This was a fascinating trip. Pui (I hope I have spelt that correctly) was an excellent guide, giving interesting information about Buddhist beliefs at each place, and , more importantly, guiding me to places on each site away from the tourist crowds.

A great, quick dash around Bangkok

Our guide patiently waited for us as we fought Bangkok traffic to meet her. She showed us everything we wanted to see!

Private Tour of Bangkok's Temples

We had Jenny as our guide and she was wonderful. We enjoyed a very comprehensive, yet leisurely paced tour (at our choice). We saw what we expected and Jenny gave us excellent commentary. The vehicle was comfortable. Jenny was also a great photographer, making sure we had plenty of group shots throughout the day. I'm sure we got to see a lot more than those traveling on big coach bus tours.

Great tour with Niko

We were picked up promptly by the tour guide Niko and explained a lot in the car on the way to temples about the history of Bangkok, the temples, the buddhas etc. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable, his English was great too! Temples were beautiful and the Buddhas were breathtaking. He then gave us some tips for the rest of our time in Bangkok and dropped us off in Lumphini park for a light festival which he gave us some information on as well. All in all, great day and recommended tour

Half day tour with Suki

We chose the three temple tour with a last stop at Gems & Minerals. The temples were beautiful and our tour guide (Suki) was awesome and funny. He gave us history about Bangkok as we drove to the temples. Language was a barrier but he was still able to communicate fairly well with us. The entire tour was over by 12:00pm which was perfect because the weather gets very hot and I am not used to such extreme weather. We went in the morning and got a chance to see Monks doing their morning prayers. Suki took lots of pictures and was patient with us. He left us to wonder around ourselves and pray himself at the last temple which was a nice experience to witness. The Gem factory was a nice experience with workers making jewelry right in front of everyone. Great opportunity to buy high end jewelry. Definitely a must see when in Bangkok.

Fantastic tour with Pearl

We booked the afternoon city tour and our guide met us at our hotel. She was lovely and friendly and very knowledgable.
