Incredible tour with the best guide, Army!!

The spots you see on this trip are amazing and Army was an AMAZING guide! So knowledgeable, we learned so much about the place son the tour and all about Thailand culture and different regions. He really made it personalized to exactly what we wanted to do and gave amazing recommendations, and treated us to fun traditional snacks/fruits along the way. He was also so good about taking pictures of us through the tour! Highly recommend, this tour is so worth it.

Great trip with sufficient time to take photos on both markets.

We did the private trip to the Maeklong Railway Market and the Damnoen Floating Market. Our tourguide Tanya made a fantastic job and provided us with all information required for the trip. Both the Railway Market and the Floating Market have been extremely crowded but being on a private tour was definitely helping to navigate easily around the places and not to loose each other. Tanya knew a good spot from where we could see the train passing and she positiioned us just in time before the big crowds came. Myself being a passionate photographer, I was very pleased to have had enough time in both markets to take lots of pictures. Our driver did an excellent job and brought us safely back to the hotel.

Awesome experience

Choosing the private tour was definitely the right decision. This was a great experience and it was only possible due to our guide “L” and our driver. All the food that we had was delicious (specially at the floating market). Spending the extra dollars to book the private tour option is totally worth it. Totally recommend it.

Our tour guide went above and beyond!!!

Nok is the best! She took us to the Maeklong railroad and floating markets, and along the way, she saw we were interested by the salt flats and coconut farms we passed, so we made brief stops there to learn more. Taking a private tour is so nice because we had these extra moments that weren’t planned. We saw more of the area, and Nok is super lovely and is a great guide. She shows you around, taking into consideration what you like. There’s cold water offered throughout the day, and an air-conditioned ride. Plus, she knew we were looking for a temple running from Wat Po. After dropping us at our hotel, she went to Wat Po and checked the store, and she messaged me that she had found what we were looking for. She went above and beyond - on her own time. Take the private tours any time you can over the group tours in Thailand - where the weather is challenging, and comfort and convenience can go a long way!

Fabulous

We had a wonderful tour with Sunny and Victor, they went out of their way to make sure we could make it to the tour (we entered the wrong pickup location 🙃) and on the tour Sunny regaled us with stories and information. We had a wonderful boat noodle lunch and the best seats in train street. And Victor was always at the right spot to pick us up so we didn’t have to spend time in the heat. We highly recommend this tour and ask for Sunny as she is fabulous. Thanks for the great time!

Great tour

Excellent trip, and Kim our tour guide was fantastic, Enjoyed seeing the floating market, floating house and yummy coconut ice cream.

We had the most amazing time with our guide Peter! His energy is infectious, he’s hilarious, so kind and knowledgeable! He helped us so much in the floating market and gave us a front row to the market train!! We can’t recommend him enough! Our driver Kai was also the best! He was ready with water and towels to beat the heat! Was literally 1 million out of 10 in terms of experience!!

Maeklong Railway and Flower Market Tour

Awesome private tour

Our guide Nok was wonderful! Well went to railway market and the floating market. Nok asked about our interests and made sure we tried the best most ripe fruit and the best mango sticky rice of our trip.

Great experience!

It's great to be picked up and dropped off at your hotel. Less stressful. Peter was an excellent guide. Very informative and answered all my questions. Was able to translate to the local Thai people. The market/railway and floating market is a great cultural experience. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you're a solo traveler and aren't familiar with the language and local ways of living.

Extraordinary 1/2 day trip from Bangkok

This was a great trip! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip. I especially liked the railway market. Although I had seen it on travel shows, seeing in person was so awesome! Peter, my guide, was outstanding and my driver was excellent!

Fun and interesting tour with a great guide and driver

We had a fantastic guide who made sure to find out what our interests were, and then she made sure that our expectations were met. She provided education and covered lots of ground and made the tour both fun and interesting. The air conditioned car and helpful driver were great. All in all an excellent tour that I would be happy to recommend to others.

Excellent Private Tour That Focussed on Meeting our Needs.

Our guide was very engaging and informative. She worked hard to find out what we wanted out of the tour and then delivered. She also gave us insights into how people eat and live in greater Bangkok and in Thailand in general. Our driver provided a prompt and clean transportation service.

What an exceptional tour. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Time our guide and Mark the driver made sure we had a memorable day. The railway market & floating boat market is a must do. Time spoke excellent english and was extremely knowledgeable. Time had a great personality and made the tour well worth the price.

Worth More Than 5 Stars

If I could rate this tour higher than 5 stars then I would! Our tour guide, Kim, was incredible! She took us around both the railway market and floating market introducing us to local foods and products while also adjusting to what we like or wanted to see. She was full of knowledge and extremely friendly! Our driver, Vichian, was so polite and got us around everywhere safely. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Worth more than 5 stars

If I could rate this tour more than 5 stars then I would! Kim was our tour guide and she was beyond incredible. Her knowledge of the areas as we drove to each destination and at both markets taught us so many things about the culture while introducing us to local foods and goods. She adjusted her tour based on what we liked and wanted to do. Our driver, Vichian, was polite and took us to each destination safely. He offered us cold water bottles at the end of our trip and cold hand towels. The two markets are close to each other but far from Bangkok and we got to relax in the back of an air conditioned car. Highly recommend if you want to see the train pass through such a tight market, the local vendors selling on the river and making food in their boats, and learn about all the history and culture from a fabulous tour guide!

Great tour, even greater guide.

This is a great, not too long but so well structure tour. Our guide (Anand) was simply amazing! Once you do this tour, especially the railway market, you understand why you want to go there with a guide that knows what he is doing.

Our guide Kim and the driver were very helpful and they took care of us during the whole trip. They were both awesome and friendly! It was fun and we enjoyed a lot! The place is quite far but it is worth the trip. Highly recommended!

Worth every $$$

If railway market & floating boat market is our your list do go for the private tour. Both these places get very busy. Our guide Sunny and driver Victor were the absolute best !!! They were very attentive, made sure we were always safe and having fun. The train was so fun to watch the action before and after the train. Didn't think it could get better but the floating market exceeded our expectations. Sunny recommended the best spots for photos & also knew the best vendors for food in floating market. If the railway market & floating boat market is our your list go with the private tour. It is worth every $$$ Our guide Sunny & driver Victor made sure this experience was a memorable one. Our tour guide was the absolute best !!! We learned so much about Bangkok & Thai culture. She was really fun to chat with. The train was so fun to watch the action before and after the train. The floating market was a good experience too. We had lunch at the floating market. Sunny knew the best spots for photos and also the best food vendors to go to. Train market (Maeklong) in the morning and the original floating market after.

We had a great morning out with Johnny and Mr Winn. Picked from the hotel, taken to the Maeklong station to see the railway market then on to the floating market with lots of local information on the way. Got a private boat for about 20 mins in to the floating market. Again lots of interesting information as we walked around the market and had lunch at one of the many vendors on the river. Johnny and Mr Winn were great and the trip was really well organised, fun and informative.

Amazing day out. Johnny was an excellent guide and showed us the best places and best food. Fantastic! Mr Win driving is A++! Water and air conditioned car with wifi too. Cannot recommend enough.

Sensational!

We had the most fantastic day with Pom and our driver Mr Wee. We were picked up in a lovely air conditioned car and driven to the train market (which was amazing!) a coconut farm and the floating markets. Along the way we saw a salt farm and fish sauce factory and lovely countryside. The boat ride in the markets was a lot of fun and everything lovely. We were given lunch and water and were very well looked after. It was a pleasure to meet Pom and Mr Wee - thank you very much indeed - Kob kuhn (krub/kha) 🐘🙏

A wonderful day full of info and fun!!

Everything was wonderful! Peter was excellent and very engaged during our tour, and was ready with many facts and figures about all the different places we went. He helped us with ordering food, and even showed us some special Thai treats, including gifting us some salt from a farm we went to. I would 100% recommend this tour and Peter, as I had a great time and it was one of the best days I’ve had in Thailand!!!

Fabulous experience - great way to spend the day!

Everything about the experience was excellent! Our tour guide was lovely and picked us up from our hotel promptly. We were able to see lots and felt very comfortable exploring with our guide. The railway markets were such an experience - so unique! And the floating markets were lovely as well. Lunch was delicious! Overall a great experience!

GREAT Experience with Army and Mark!!!!

Had the BEST day with our tour guide "Army" and driver "Mark". We did a private tour, which I would highly recommend!! They picked us up promptly at our hotel in Bangkok and we traveled safely and comfortably (ahhh, air-conditioning!) to the Train Market first. What an experience! Army was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the market and it's history. Back at the car, Mark had cold water and towels waiting for us, so considerate & nice! Next, we stopped at the coconut grove to learn about the coconut sugar making process. Again, very informative and knowledgeable. Last stop was the Floating Market. Great experience and a sight to see with the boats maneuvering the narrow canals. Again, Army was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. I can't say enough good things about Army, he was so sweet and simply wanted to give you a wonderful experience. Was nice to hear about where he grew up and his experiences which lead him to giving tours. If you can do a private tour I highly recommend it….. no time wasted! Pat and the chofer were simply amazing. This tour was on my Bangkok bucket list and I’m thrilled I finally was able to do it. It was AWESOME

10/10 - best tour we did in Thailand

Pat was an amazing tour guide… taking care of us like we were her family! She taught us a lot about Thai culture and answered all our questions. The access to view the train going by and taking us to an older woman with the best prices on coconut sugar for us to buy from were just a few ways we felt “on the inside” at these busy markets. She even taught me how to negotiate prices better, and bought us some new foods to try after we’d shown interest in them. 10/10 recommend this tour.

Army was a fantastic tour guide, really informative but also very easy going so we also felt we could stop and see the things we wanted to. Really professional pick up from hotel and lovely comfortable van with Ao who was our driver and again very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this trip and Army to anyone

Train and floating market tour

Just completed the tour with my family including 3 children. It was a rainy day so traffic was particularly bad. Instead of the just over hour drive to the train market, it took nearly 3 hours. Nonetheless, Nok and our driver managed to rearrange the order of the tour and were very efficient in getting us through the entire experience. It was nice to have a round-trip hotel tour with everything pre-arranged. We did not deal with negotiations for boats, items at the market, knowing where to go, and figuring out the best restroom stops. Thank you!

Our tour we had was absolutely amazing, everything I’ve researched about this tour before coming was everything I expected and hoped. Our guide we had named Army was so lovely and full of information, nothing was a problem when being asked. And we had many questions. He was a great tour guide and definitely a great asset for your company. I Would 100% recommend him to anyone thinking of going on this or any other tour. Peter did a great time showing us around the markets. Offered to take our pictures. Mark was a great driver. He was always prepared to meet us with water and a cold towel. With this heat it was appreciated. The train market was a unique experience and would do it again. The floating market had great food. Souvenirs were definitely cheaper at the train market.
