Gwen and the driver Two were absolutely phenomenal. Gwen made sure I had a memorable experience at every location of the day. She is experienced and assured that we had a good early time before all the crowds. She was not only knowledgeable in the history of the Ancient City, but she also was a fantastic photographer and made me discover a bunch of street food! A must do day trip from Bangkok

This is one of myost favorite and memorable travel experiences and it couldn't have been better with anyone else. Our tour guide, Army, was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We especially appreciated learning about him. It's experiences like these that enhance travelling and making connections with people you wouldn't meet otherwise. An unexpected surprise was the visit to the coconut sugar "factory" and learning all the things coconuts.and it's byproducts are used for. Army explained how he would, as a child,.help his mom by making coconut milk for cooking their food. It made me appreciate Thai cooking even more learning how it's made from scratch. Because of the construction and traffic, we didn't make it to the train market in time to watch the train coming in but our awesome driver, Visan, and Army made sure we got there in time to experience and see the train as it was leaving. They kept us on schedule even with the delays that were out of their control. We stopped for lunch at View Wat Ayuttaya, where we had the best shrimp tom yum! I keep dreaming of that tom yum 😋. We would definitely do this trip again but only if I could go with Army and Visan. This trip will be the highlight of anyone"s Thailand trip!

Kim did such an amazing job on our tour! Very thoughtful and attentive to us while it was hot out but also very knowledgeable about everywhere we went. My wife and I felt very comfortable asking questions which we had a lot of. We talked about both the tour sites but also everyday life as well. 10/10 would recommend!

So much fun!

We had a fantastic time! We learned so much and Kim was so knowledgable! We tried a lot of unique food items along the way. There was always cold water and towels in the car when we got hot. A really lovely way to see a bunch of different sites all in one day!

This is a must do day trip from Bangkok!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Our tour guide, Army, was a wonderful guide and host. His knowledge and personal experience enhanced our trip. For instance, he took us to a coconut sugar plantation and explained to us how they make sugar from coconuts (I had no idea this even existed!). He also explained to us all the other uses and products made from coconuts (I was extremely fascinated by this) and showed us how he makes coconut milk used in Thai cooking. We then got to taste the final product (coconut "sugar") which is more like a paste, but is SOOOOO delicious!! That was one of my favorite parts of the day! I also enjoyed walking around the train market. Army bought us some mangosteens which I had never had before (which is surprising for where I come from). He showed us how to open it and tell the good ones from the bad. Now I know why it's called the Queen of Thai fruit. The floating market was an experience like nothing else. During our drive we told him that we love Thai food, especially mango sticky rice, so when we were at the floating market he bought us a couple. He mentioned this particular woman sold the best and explained the four types of sticky rice she has to go with it. It was SOOOOO delicious!! I definitely think all the eating we did on the trip was my favorite but learning about the ruins and history was right up there too! I can't rave enough about our trip with Army and Sang (our driver) for making our day trip to Ayuttaya so memorable!

Really great and diverse tour

This was a great tour. Our guide Army and driver O both looked after us (especially our toddler and baby) really well. We felt that our family requirements (eg going a little slower sometimes, or speeding up when needed too) were thoughtfully considered and factored in. Highlight for us was the boat through the floating market, this was so much fun! We opted for the railway market too (earlier start) and this was quite an experience to see. Army bought us some delicious fruit and rice to try in the markets and took us for lunch at a restaurant with a nice view (and air con!). The temples were also amazing to see. With two young children it was always going to be a long day but it was managed really well and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the tour, our tour guide and our driver. All top class. Thank you!

Excellent tour

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Anan did a great job of bringing the sights to life and took great care of us. At the floating market he got us mango sticky rice from his favorite boat and it was fabulous (the best we had the whole trip). We went early to see both the Railway market and the Floating market. Definitely worth it and an easy way to see the sites at Ayutthaya.

GREAT ITINERARY

I’m so glad to pick this itinerary. Just Ayutthaya alone might be too little. It’s a big historical park with ancient ruins but walking around in 36 degree hot weather was taxing for me. Adding train market and floating market in the mix really spice up the day. We left around 7 AM in morning and ended the day a little past 5 pm. My favorite was the train market bc it’s very unique but really enjoyed floating market too. Our guide is Gwen and our driver is Mark. Gwen is excellent. She’s knowledgeable and always on the look out for us. She point out best photo spots and local foods for us to try, at times even bought the foods and drinks for us to taste. You can talk to her pretty much about anything, she always have an insight to share. From Thai culture, way of living, historical and mythical significance of ornaments and buildings, there seems like nothing escape Gwen’s understanding of her country. I’m already telling my relatives who have plan to come to Thailand about her. Mark is a steady driver. Ride was smooth and on time. He always had AC turn on in the car when we come back from sweltering 36 degree heat. I really appreciate all the chilled wet toilette and ice water he got ready for us after every excursion. I highly recommend this itinerary, tour guide and driver for people who have a short stay in Bangkok and want to make the most of their day.

Amazing trip

Thank you to Peter our guide, we have made some fantastic memories that we will never forget. Peter met us with a smile and his claim that the day would be fantastic certainly was true. A perfect day in Thailand!

I had one of my favorite tours with Nok and Mr. Mark. Nok was so easy to talk to and I learned so much about Rhai culture, Buddhism, and life in Bangkok. The floating market and rail market were so unique and NOk found the best places for photos. She also helped me take some awesome pictures and videos and made sure we never waited in lines or got stuck with any crowds. Mr. Mark was a very safe and smooth driver. He always made sure the car was cool (it was a HOT day), that I had cold water, and was always looking out for me. I cannot recommend this tour enough with the team and had such a great day. Kim was a phenomenal guide. Warm, friendly, informative and gave an excellent recommendation for lunch. She was a top notch guide dealing with the 101 degree heat! Our driver Wichian was professional and courteous, both he and Kim opened our doors every time, a very welcoming gesture. He had cool towels and ice cold water for us after every stop. The floating market and railway market were awesome to witness in person! The temples were very interesting and amazing to see ruins still standing hundreds of years later! Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic experience for our first day in Thailand, Gwen the guide gave us a fun and informative introduction to the history and culture of Thailand and Bangkok. She was super helpful and the ride with Mr O was so comfortable, stylish & had air conditioning- we were treated like VIPs all day. Amazing day in Thailand!

Peter and Oun were great. We say train market, floating market and the historical city of Ayutthaya. Peter made great recommendations for food to try in the markets and had a wealth of knowledge about Ayutthaya. Would definitely recommend Peter to anyone looking for a great guide!

Really well planned tour!

We can’t believe how much was able to be fitted into one day! The tour was really well timed so we were always one step ahead of the crowds. Army, our tour guide, and Bang Wee, our driver, were a wonderful team. Army took great photos of us at the various sights that were sent to us afterwards which was a really nice touch.

Compact but Brilliant

Nok's enthusiasm and friendliness made the whole tour an unforgettable experience for our entire family. Somehow, she and her team were able to thoughtfully package the railroad market, the floating market, and Ayutthaya into one marvelous day trip, something that was perfect for visitors with only a few days in Bangkok. Fabulous experience with a wonderful guide!

We had a wonderful time today with Ms Kim as our guide and a really accommodating driver. We covered such a lot in one day - Train Market, Coconut farm, Floating Market (unique experience) and the ancient city Ayutthaya! We were therefore really glad of the air conditioned car waiting for us at every point. Kim was knowledgeable, spoke good English which helped us to appreciate what we were seeing and she also was really helpful with tasting sample foods and finding the "right spot" to either take photos or stand in wait for the infamous Train to come through! Great tour, would thoroughly recommend.

Fun!

It was lovely to see a different part Bangkok. The tour guide was informative and had many things on hand (like water, cool towels and toilet paper) The floating markets are so cool!

Don’t look anywhere else and book with this company. We did the Floating Market and Ayutthaya tour. From the booking process all the way to the tour itself, everything was smooth and organized. The communication before the tour was very clear. On the day of the tour, our guide was Nok and our driver was O. Nok was an exceptional guide! We love every minute with her. She was knowledgable, able to answer all of our questions and provided everything we needed. She gave us very good recommendations and tips. She knows all the good photo spots and takes really good photos. Even though the tour is a full day, we never felt rushed. Nok made sure that we take our time and enjoy ourselves. O the driver was very polite. He always make sure that we get in and out of the car safely. What I really love about the tour is the fact that Nok knows the right timing on when to visit the places. We arrived at the railway market and got a great spot. We got into the floating market at the right time without too much crowd. And then we arrived at the Ayutthaya temples at a peaceful time. Overall I highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to visit Thailand. Top-notch guide and driver. I would definitely take another tour with them on my next visit to Thailand.

Extraordinary experience

Memorable day trip!

We took the private tour today with Neng, and we had a spectauclar experience! The guide and driver arrived to our hotel right on time, and provided comfortable transport to all locations. The railway market and floating market are new and unique sights to see, they are a little touristy but Neng provided interesting history to both and helped us navigate shops to consider and those to avoid because of low quality or high prices. Next theres a 2.5 hour drive to Attuthaya, and the ride was comfortable in the Bangkok heat. Neng guided us around the ruins and temples and shared his knowledge of archaeology. He was entertaining and really took care of us, we had a great time and we would recommend this tour to anyone!

Best guided tour we have ever done.

A private tour is not cheap but well worth the money, pay the extra and get a great guide like Time and a driver (Kai) who will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a wonderful tour packed with insights. The places we visited were great but what made the tour was our fantastic guide Time. He gave us enough knowledge about our tour/locations to be useful but not too much to over burden us with facts and provided little local food treats. The lunch stop he chose was great and very restful in the heat. This was the best guided tour we have ever been on and this was because of our fantastic guide (Time).

Amazing Day Trip to Markets and Unforgettable Ayutthaya

We had an amazing day with Pom! She was informative, funny and made sure we had the best experience possible. Everything was well expressed and though out from the start. Our driver safely and patiently took care of us the entire day. We are very appreciative of each of them and the memories we will always have. This excursion is a must for those spending time in Bangkok area.

Recommended for a family / group of friends

Our group of 10 friends booked a tour of the railway market, floating market, and Ayutthaya. We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Lek! Lek provided very comprehensive commentary around Thai history, took us to amazing street food snack stalls (which came included), and was kind enough to take plenty of photos of our group. The van we travelled in was very comfortable and she communicated with our group in advance to make sure we were set for the day. We never felt rushed and she knew all the best places for photos, our lunch stop, and tips on how to shop at the market. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a novel experience for the railway and floating markets, and would like to get a preview of Thailand’s rich history.

Amazing day!

My partner and I loved everything about this day. The driver Mr Vee had bottles of ice cold water and cool towels waiting for us after every stop, with all timings stated as in the itinerary. The highlight of the day was the lovely Nok, she was so informative and never tired of our many questions. She took us to try local snacks based on what she thought we might like from talking to us, helped us find a restaurant for lunch and sent over photos of us throughout our day. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough, it was a great experience :) khob khun ka!

Pom is the BEST guide. Very sweet and caring, excited to share Thailand’s culture with you. Goes on your pace and gives you tips on good prices of things. The floating market was our favorite experience in Bangkok! And Pom made it easy and fun. She takes as many pictures of you as you’d like. Party the driver was also great. Best Bangkok experience

Husband and I went on this daytrip with Guide Tour Pom and driver Party and this was the BEST experience. Pom is knowlegeable about Thailand’s history, excited to share information, and very generous with her time. They gave us water, sticky mango rice, refreshing towels, and anything you might need in a hot day in Thailand. Pom tooks as many pictures of us as we asked her to, always with all patience and excitement. I would recommend tours with Pom in a heart beat. Best choice!!!!!!

Excellent tour! Would recommend to all

My husband and I had an excellent time on this tour! First, Nok met us at our hotel in Bangkok. Then we drove to the railway market, and she made sure we had a good view when the train passed. Then she was kind enough to take additional pictures of us in front of the train. Next, we drove to the floating market. My favorite part was the boat ride and exploring the market by water and land. Nok helped us purchase, sticky rice with mango off one of the passing boats, and it was delicious. Then we drove to Ayutthaya for lunch and sightseeing at three temples. Nok took pictures of us at each location and was kind and informative. Our driver was also great and the van was a luxurious and comfortable party van with good AC. Our driver also provide us with two bottles of cold water each. We had the opportunity to use clean toilets at almost every stop. A wonderful full day adventure, exploring outside of the Bangkok area. Would recommend to all!

Amazing day with Mr. Harry

My wife and I had a wonderful private tour with Mr. Harry. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in a private/modern car, and visited the Maeklong Station Market, the Lad Tuk Luk Floating Market (included a boat ride), and three sites in Ayutthaya. Mr. Harry seems to know everyone, so we never had to wait on lines, and were able to see so many amazing sites and taste so many flavors. Finally, Mr. Win was a great driver - we felt so safe and comfortable the whole time. Highly recommended!!!

Maeklong Railway Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market “”NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL“”

“Very disappointed with the points of interest” *Maeklong Railway Market is very dirty and smells too bad (not recommended at all, it is very disappointing) *Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is not as beautiful as advertised, the river water is dirty *Historic City of Ayutthaya, very beautiful, it is highly recommended to visit it

Memories of a lifetime in Thailand 🇹🇭🎊

Our first full day in Thailand was a joyous journey with Henry. We did not know what to expect and what we experienced and witnessed was beyond our expectations. Henry and our driver were the most patient and courteous people and served us graciously throughout the day with unexpected treats (whether it be food or spiritual!). It’s safe to say the rest of our trip has some high expectations after a day like today! Thank you Henry!

Favorite Bangkok experience

Very fun tour, our tour guide Gwen was amazing and very kind, offering traditional snacks, explaining all the little details and making sure we were all safe. Our driver Achi was always on time and fun to be around. Highly recommended as you can learn all about the Thai culture and the Bangkok traditions through the floating and railway markets, tasting of traditional foods and of course the Ayutthaya site!

Great Guide, but more time in car than seeing sights

My partner and I had a great Tour with Patrick! His English speaking was so fluent I forgot often that his first language is Thai. Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions and went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. Patrick’s performance was 5/5. Separate from Patrick’s amazing performance, I do have feedback on the tour group we booked through on viator. There was a lot of traveling via car that I wasn’t expecting. More time was spent in the car than seeing the sights which felt like a miss given the $330 cost of the tour for 2. I’m unsure if I’d recommend the itinerary or the sights seen on this tour, but I’d HIGHLY recommend Patrick as a tour guide. I’d rate the itinerary/cost 3/5.

Highly recommend!

We had a great time touring the markets, trying the local food. Then we visited the Ayutthaya temple, the royal palace and the reclining buddha. Our guide Peter was very friendly and knowledgeable.
