What a fantastic day - Erawan waterfalls

Best of nature and history in one package

Jam packed day of exciting tours in nature and history. Our guide Nina was super attentive and organized making sure we saw all the waterfalls, river Kwai boat ride and walk over the famous bridge. Long day made effortless. Definitely advice all who can to take this tour!

A great private trip away.

Had a great, very easy trip to Erawan and the river Kwai. Our guide Lin was very helpful and informative, but was also happy to give us space to explore the falls at our own speed and in private. Having the private tour made everything so easy, picked up from our hotel and driven around by a lovely and safe driver, while Lin explained the tour to us, then left us to catch some sleep on the drive out to the first site. The falls themselves were beautiful and swimming was great. Exploring the Buddha caves was exciting and then visiting the bridge over the River Kwai and the boat trip down the river were real highligjts. There were no extra fees or entry fees to cover, as it is all included in the price, so it really couldn't have been any easier.

Excellent Tour With Poppy And Peter

This was an amazing trip that exceeded our expectations! Our Tour Guide Poppy and Driver Peter were exceptionally excellent! They picked us up on time gave great pointers on the best shops locations to get pictures helped us bargain bought us snacks, and kept us safe. They were kind professional courteous engaging accommodating and were just great to hang out with. Poppy was Mother Sister Friend photographer and guide to all in our group. We got to see and interact with local people and support local businesses. She negotiated and translated for us every step of the way. We rode the railway train to the train market and got great bargins pictures and videos. The floating market was quite the experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Bangkok in a Day: a Journey through history and exploration

Bangkok was a blast, and it was all thanks to Lin! While our time was limited in Bangkok, Lin was able help us see all of the amazing sights near and far. We spent the day exploring the train market, the floating market, a gorgeous waterfall (inside an amazing national forest), and even the historical River Khwae Bridge. Lin was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions about historical sights and local customs, but also ensured we were well fed? VIP tour perfect for couples

If I could give this review 6 stars I could. Got to visit the Erawan Falls. I had enough time to hike up to level 5 out of 7. We felt like VIPs. We look forward to doing a future tour when I am in Bangkok again. We went to a tiny museum to learn Thailand’s history, went to a death railway, and an optional skywalk tour. It was an amazing 13 hour tour for the money. I only wished I had water shoes to enjoy the Erawan falls more. Communication was done through Whats App and confirmation was done the night before the tour.

Awesome experience

Amazing day!!

Today was wonderful, Pop was a fantastic guide and asked us continually what we wanted to see, the train market is a must see and great fun… floating markets were interesting and the waterfalls were beautiful, although not keen on the steep steps… would definitely recommend the private trip as you can adjust time spent at each to suit you 🥰

Water Falls & Kanchanaburi

We enjoyed every moment of this private tour. Our guide was incredibly generous with her knowledge of the country, history and culture. She was sensitive to our needs and made us very comfortable by keeping us aware of what event was next, what to expect and if we needed breaks etc. Definitely recommend her “Pops aka Poppy” and the driver operated the vehicle smoothly for and enjoyable ride.

History and a swim!

This was a great trip from beginning to end! We spent the day with our guide Nok Jason and our driver Mr. Big Boy. They arrived on time to pick us up from our hotel. Both were very friendly and entertaining. Nok Jason’s English was excellent and he taught us so much about Kanchanaburi and the culture of Thailand. He also happens to be an awesome photographer. You can just take in the sights and he’ll make sure you go home with some great photos for your memories. The day ended with a trip to Erawan National Park for a hike and some swimming. Even on a Thailand holiday, the crowds weren’t too bad. There’s a rock water slide at one of the level of the falls that shouldn’t be missed. If your interested in soaking up some culture and history and having a bit of adventure, I 100% recommend this tour with Nok Jason and Mr. Big Boi.

Amazingly unforgettable

We loved everything about this tour. Pop was fantastic! Pop adjusted everything based on what we wanted, great communication, explained what we needed and then left us alone to explore. I loved not having a guide hover all day. Our driver, Samran, was a great driver, very friendly and always giving us ice water and cold towels. We had a lot of laughs, learned a lot, and had so many unforgettable experiences. Everything was simple from the time I booked until we got dropped off at our hotel. Thank you for making our tour amazing.

Excelent service and personalized tour

I highly recommended this tour, because our guide (Mrs. Jirarot Sadab) did all for our lovely experiences. We could add the train ride and it was fantastic. Normaly you could do these tour in two separate group tour,in this tour is both and you save the time!

Its was an amazing experience

Erawan National park was very beautiful. Try to get to the park as early as possible it would be less crowded. I would recommend to go up to the 7th level because its a much smaller fall then go down and relax on level 3. Get your backpack with you to the top just incase. Then we went to the elephant sanctuary where we fed the elephant and gave her a bath then after that we went to the bridge overlooking the river where we saw the train pass. Many thanks to Nok our tour guide which speaks english fluently and the driver Mr. Peter who drove us around and came up with us to level 7 of the park.

Highly recommended trip with knowledgeable guides!

Wonderful day trip with a very friendly & knowledgeable tour guide Mr. Nok Jason & driver Mr. Peter. We started the day at 6:30am, with a 3 hour drive to Erawan waterfalls where we had breakfast at the park and spent approximately 2.5 hours swimming and exploring the 7 tiers. We then headed to the elephant haven, about an hour away from the waterfalls, where we fed and cleaned the beautiful creatures. Our final stop was at the bridge overlooking the river. The tour is very well managed and both gentlemen did not hesitate to go the extra mile in terms of food stops, breaks, and providing additional knowledge on the Thai culture. Highly recommended!

Great time away from the city

We all had a lovely time on this day trip. It was good to get out of city for a day and enjoy the waterfall and River Kwai. It is a long drive from Bangkok, but there are interesting stops along the way, and the transportation was a luxury bus with great air-conditioning and experienced driver. Our tour guide, Pop, was friendly and gracious. A lot of fun things to see. The waterfall was beautiful and swimming is permitted and I would highly recommend it. The water is cold - perfect for cooling off. It is a long hike to the falls, but you can have someone drive you to and from in a golf cart if you don’t want to walk. Great tour. Highly recommend.

This was a really enjoyable day. Pop our guide was attentive to our needs and gave us the time we needed at each attraction.

Family day out for everyone

We had a lovely time with bop and the driver! We started our day with a coffee stop, then railway market, then spontaneous elephant rides, then coconut and salt farms, followed by floating markets and the waterfall Swim. Bop was super accomodating for the 14 year old and 10 year old. So highly recommend it. It is a long day but worth it. Just ask bop to stop for extra snacks. :) Thank you

Driver and guides were awesome! Falls were beautiful and refreshingly cold. All the War stops and information was educational; I didn't know most of it. My sister and I had a great time! I would 100% recommend.

Lin was amazing! Her knowledge was great and enthusiasm was infectious. Highly recommend. Bridge over the River Kwai from a boat and the waterfall are musts while in Thailand.

Best Tour out of Bangkok

This tour is a must. If you’re in the Bangkok area for any length of time, make sure you get Lin to show you around. She’s extremely knowledgeable and will take great care of you. The air conditioned coach was also nice and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend this tour enough. Lin was a welcoming and knowledgable guide, who helped make the day amazing. Really enjoyed Erawan waterfall… definitely worth the climb for the views alone!

Very Accommodating!

Everything was amazing! Lin our tour guide answered all our questions and took us to the disappearing market, floating market, and coconut farm. We went to Erawan falls, but because of the heavy rain most of the hike was blocked off (after the 2nd waterfall) and swimming was not allowed. She instead adjusted the schedule to take us to skywalk. She made sure we had enough food/water the entire trip and bathroom breaks. She’s also an expert of taking photos for us. Olay (our driver) is a great, safe, and fast plus the AC is a lifesaver.

Amazing all-day tour experience

We had Lin and Olay as our personal tour guide and driver respectively for an entire day! Lin is very knowledgeable about all the areas and super friendly. The railway market was super cool, saw the locals scrambling to remove their stuff when the train left. It did rain hard unfortunately so the Erawan Falls were closed off, but Lin helped us replan on the spot and see the Skywalk in Kanchanaburi instead! Highly recommend for your Bangkok tour.

AWESOME DAY OUT

Our favourite part of this tour was ALL OF IT !! Lin our guide was an absolute delight and went out of her way to ensure my daughter and I had a day to always remember. Lin was prompt with communication after our booking and was clear in all details relating to the tour. She took loads of extra photos for us and spoilt us with little extras during the day. Markets and Erawan waterfalls

Our tour guide Lin was so amazing! She took us through the railway and floating markets, Erawan waterfalls, and coconut and salt farms and explained everything so well. She got me the best iced coffee I’ve ever had by the salt farms. I feel like we had a lot of time to stop and take photos as we wanted to and she even took some great ones of us and I’m so happy for that! We could not have asked for a better day or a better tour guide!

Amazing time!!!

Had a great day with Lin! The tour was well organized and the activities we got to do like the floating market, train market, and waterfall hike would have been impossible to organize from Bangkok on our own. We had a private car pick us up from our hotel and then drop us off at each activity then be there waiting when we were done — it was super convenient and took all the stress out of finding transport. For the main activities, we rode the train to the train market, which is a market that later had a railway built through it, so whenever trains come through everyone runs away from the railroad tracks, then back once the train leaves). We saw a lot of other tourists watching outside and some of them didn’t know how to ride the train. We then went to a floating market where we got to ride a motorboat through the market and shop around a bit, as well as eat lunch from one of the floating restaurants! Finally, we did the waterfall add on (which I would highly recommend if you have the time) which involved going to Erawan National Park and hiking up through 7 different waterfalls, as well as getting to swim in some of them! And to top it all off, Lin helped us take amazing photos and videos throughout the whole experience! Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing trip to markets and waterfalls

Our day with Lin was really special. She led us through the train market, floating market and erwan waterfalls and have us lots of context along the way. Lin was gracious and excited the whole time and did a great job answering all of our questions. The Erwan waterfalls (where the fish nibble your feet while you swim) was a highlight for me. Great Tour, Greater Guide

Lin was an amazing tour guide! She is very knowledgable on the sites we visited, and I feel much more informed because of her. On top of that, Lin is incredibly kind; she saw my friend and I had mosquito bites on our legs and applied some balm to them herself. We never went thirsty since she always kept plenty of water on hand. We were able to have a very personalized tour because she allowed us to go at our own pace at each of the sites, which was made more incredible by her ability to keep our transportation arrangement on time at every stop. This trip was just what we were hoping for, and Lin brought it everything and more. Anyone who finds themselves with Lin as their guide for the day will find they have been blessed.

Great day with many local insights and experiences

We had a great day. Starting at 6:30 AM heading out to the train market. We experienced it from inside the train and from the outside. Then we went to the floating market. It is a little bit more touristic, but was very interesting too. After an authentic thai lunch, which was very tasty, we drove to the eweran waterfalls. This a really beautiful place. You can swim in 7 seven different waterfall stairs. The water is beautiful and clear and if you want, you get a “ feet spa” by the small fishes in it. :) at the end we went to Kanchanaburi to see the bridge and after a last meal they brought us back to our hotel. During the whole day our guide was super friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. He told us many Thai insights and always made sure that we were at the right place at the right time (e.g. to see the train leaving the train market). In addition, we were able to try many large and small dishes thanks to him and his local expertise. And we learned a lot concerning the Thai culture. We highly recommend this trip, it is a great experience.

Full day adventure

The whole day was a great experience. From getting to see the floating market to the train market. The waterfall is definitely worth seeing. Be ready for a full day adventure that shows a lot. Lynn is very knowledgeable and makes sure you see everything and get great photos

Fun tour with Lin!

Lin was very entertaining and accommodated us very well in our tour. She has extensive knowledge on the places we went to as well as kept us entertained especially the kids. The kids also had so much fun in the tour especially swimming in the erawan waterfalls. Next time we are back in Thailand we will be getting Lin as well!
