Private Arrival Transfer : Bangkok Airport to Bangkok Hotel (SHA Plus)

Ok but no available baby car seat

The drive from the airport to Shangri-la hotel was ok. However, we had requested a car seat for our 10 month old daughter. Unfortunately, there was no baby car seat and so we had to hold our daughter for ca one hour. Quite unsafe.

Reliable Transport

Great transfer company, we were punctually picked up from Bangkok airport and taken to Pattaya in a very comfortable van, and equally great experience for our return from Pattaya to Bangkok. We highly recommend SHA plus.

Good experiece, if not a bit expensive

It's always great when landing in a new place to see your name on a placard, ready to be picked up. The concierge was waiting exactly where the emailed directions said. Our driver had a basic grasp of English, and was efficient in taking us to our accommodation. Compared with the cost of catching a local taxi, this is an expensive experience, but weighs up okay against the convenience.

Sri Lanka trip Nov 2022

Thanks to Ayubowan Tours who gave us a great driver Mahinda, who was pleasant even though we took a long time to purchase our SIM cards. We also got what we booked. Thanks to Ayubowan tours.

Yay for not being kidnapped.

Easy to find, rapid service. One thing though - after we left the airport, driver asked if I minded if he pulled over for a minute. I said OK, thought maybe he'd heard something in a tire or something. We pulled over behind a cab that was parked by the side of the road too, the driver of that car was leaning on the back of his own car, smoking a cigarette. My driver hopped out of the car and disappeared. When he got back, I asked him where he'd gone and he said he had to go to the bathroom. OK, I get it ... but it was dark, he pulled over in a very dark area, there was a total stranger just standing near the car ... that's just not a safe and secure feeling. Part of the reason I booked a car in advance instead of picking up a cab in the line was for a little more sense of security, but pulling over in the dark in what looked like it could have been staging for a kidnapping completely wiped that out.

Miscommunication

We waited at gate for driver as specified in email. No one there to greet us. Called company, sign with our name and driver at different gate. I don’t mind waiting if I am in communication with driver or company, but I had to reach out to them.

My trip

The transfer was quick and very professional Thanks to the driver and the person at the airport who identified us and made the transfer so very quick. Will definitely use this again when we re visit Thailand Thanks a lot for the great welcome Valentine Kao

Worked like clockwork!

Driver was waiting for us - on time and with our family name clearly written. Drove us straight to our hotel - no problems whatsoever.

Lack of airport pick up

Car was a no show. Could not find the driver. Needed to hire a different Carri spent 30 minutes looking in the are where other had private cars with signs.

Good service. in time come for pick up at air port and drop hotel safely. We enjoy with this service.

No show

Our ride did not show up after getting a confirmation text just days before. I tried texting, and called all three numbers with no answer. Several other vendors in the area tried calling for me from their own phones. One finally got someone to answer and all the said was that a driver was coming in a half hour. At this point we had been waiting for over 45 minutes at 4 am. We caught a cab for less than half the price. Just make sure the driver puts on the meter and you’ll be fine.

Holiday

Travelling Qantas so no chauffeur like with Emirates. I was told pick up was at exit 5 and all was good. Driver goo d and traffics at 5 pm into BKK wasn’t too bad. Well done!

Stranded

Got to Bangkok at 1:00 AM. Requested an English speaking driver to start my trip with. Never got picked up!!!!!!. We had to pay again to get to our hotel.

No driver - had to take taxi

we wanted a driver because we were arriving late at night in a foreign city. We Booked, paid in advance and confirmed the day before and no driver showed after wandering the airport searching for a half hour. 2 drivers from other companies (waiting for their ow clients) tried to assist us and tried to call the phone number provided and no one could get through to a human being. Had to take taxi, so I can kiss that money goodbye - lesson learned!

Disaster averted

After using them once, I would consider using them again but this trip was not without issue. I was expecting to see someone holding a sign with my name as I was exiting customs. Instead they said they were between gate 3 and 4. Again, no person. After wandering a bit I found someone holding my name on a sign. This was after I passed the same area 3 times without seeing my name amongst the dozens listed or in anyone's hand. I suspect they just arrived on my final pass. Now I know what to expect, not a problem. The concern came when my driver (with GPS) could not find the Intercontinental Bangkok. She pulled over in front of Central World and said I was close and i can walk from here....with absolutely no direction on which way i should head. I refused to get out and I waved over a parking attendant at CentralWorld and had them engage with the driver. Seems I was a block away and she took me there. However as I learned from walking the city today I would have had to climb stairs to the sky walkway carrying two bags totalling about 60kg. This issue is the one that would give me pause. Close is not good enough, much less in a foreign city and late at night. (Almost midnight when I arrived)

空港からホテルへ。

BKKスワナブーム空港からホテル向かう場合おおきなトランクがあるのでタクシーで行くことが多いです。ARLも良いのですが、到着した駅からホテルまでが結構大変なのでほとんどの場合タクシーを使います。LCCなどを利用した場合は、ドンムアン空港になるときが多いので、たまに国鉄でファランボーン中央駅まで乗ることもありますが、あまりお勧めはできません。時間通りに運行されていないことも多く、普通列車なら冷房もないので。中央駅に着いた時には埃と汗で大変です。でも運賃は、20Bts程度びっくりするほど安いです。

タクシー

とにかくぼったくる事しか考えていない。メーターが付いているタクシーなら必ず表示させる。いくらだと言ったらその半分くらいかそれより下を言う。嫌なら動かないか途中で降ろされる。短い距離なら、タダで半分くらい来たところで降ろされた事がある。こちらはラッキーだったが。スワンナブームからなら450バーツ高速込み。ドンムアンなら、すいていると250バーツ以下。それ以上言われたらぼったくろうとしている証拠。日本語でいいから、450バーツ、だとか250バーツとか言えば、大体そんなもので大丈夫。シーロム付近なら。相場を言えば、あいつらも、納得してその後は、何も言わない。

Überteuert

Viel zu Teuer die Preise, Mit Grab oder Taxi ist es erheblich günstiger. Das nächste mal nur noch Grab da ist man auf der sichere seite.
