Fun beach day at Coral Island

Our guide Paul was very energetic and accommodating to all our needs. Got us to where we needed to be and attended to our comfort. Reserved front row beach chairs on beach and watched our stuff while we swam. We found it easier to wear our swimsuits under our clothes rather than having to change. Be sure to take beach shoes because you’ll walk in water getting on and off boat.

Relaxing beautiful temples wonderful guide

The guide was wonderful and helpful, the trip was smooth we left early and we beat traffic the rush for the temple in the morning and enjoyed the beach and lunch on the beach in the afternoon

Epic water adventures

Very nice trip, warm water, great. Nok is a very good guide. I highly recommend it. Despite booking a group tour - there were only two of us - so we had a private tour in good car included in the price of the group tour.

A worthy day out

Cherry is a great and lively tour guide. The day involves lots of travel in the bus but the time you get at the beach and Santuary of Truth (wow) is good. The beach is very touristy with lots of water activities - shop around for a sunbed and food.

Must visit

Cherry was an amazing host! She was well informed on all the sites we visited and we had plenty of time to explore in our own in the beaches, the sanctuary and lunch. She also took us to the vantage point to see amazing city views from the top.

Amazing place with bad staff

The places are amazing! The temple I’ve never seen nothing so beautiful like that one… but the staff was horrible: a tourguide that doesn’t speak english, extremily unpolite ansd unclear.

Personal Tour

Visiting Pattaya, riding the speed boat and visiting the Sanctuary of Truth. We had a personal tour since there were no other travelers. Nicky was an excellent tour guide and Frank was a great driver.

Fun in Pattaya

Nok was very friendly and accommodating to all my need. She was always making sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend a trip to Pattaya with her!

A great experience - would travel with WanderSiam again

Amazing trip, our guide Cherry was lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable. We were taken in a nice air conditioned car straight to the temple of truth where we took the tour offered by the temple. After she went around with us and took pictures. Then we were taken to the boat ride and went to the island for a few hours. The activities onwere very expensive (1400baht+ per person) so we just swam and ate. The chairs were 100 baht each, but you got free access to the toilet and a shower was 50 baht. The food was really nice, a little more expensive than the city but not too bad. After we got back to the mainland we went up a mountain to take some pictures and went back to Bangkok. Overall a great, full on day with a good balance of exploring and relaxing. If you're looking to spend lots of time at the temple of truth, let Cherry know

Very nice trip in one day at Pattaya.

Sanctuary of truth is worth visiting. The coral island beach is very nice and warm water. Don't forget to wear short or swim suit because you need to wa.lk in the sea water from the boat to shore.

Efficient and fun

Best part was our tour guide, Sharry. She was so on top of things and made the whole process smooth. The tour company should give you the guide's whatsapp number to make the pick up smoother. We are not fans of tours because they are usually slow, but our tour guide made it amazing.

Amazing tour, a must do!!

Our tour guide was 100% amazing, could not of asked for better. The sanctuary of truth is stunning and wood work beautifully executed. The island was great, front row sunloungers were 100 baht for 2 and a table and umbrella. Day was at a lovely relaxed pace. Highly recommended.

Lifetime experience

I traveled solo in Bangkok just for a few days. On my second day of arrival l booked a tour to Pattaya with WanderSiam. Our guide tour for the day was Surina and our driver San(not sure if the spelling is correct). Surina is an amazing people's person, very supportive and protective over the group. She explained all details of the trip and she didn't miss to remind us of precautional measurements and personal belongings safety during the tour. An outstanding personality, good communicator and a very fun person to go on a tour with. Our driver San was also amazing. She drove with care and very smoothly. AC was on so we did not feel uncomfortable or sweating during our tour. Water bottles (one per person) was offered and also Surina shared in advance which is the best spot, time to buy extra supplies and advised us on the price. On the day l also bought water sports package for 2,500 bahts which included parasailing, feeding the fish under water, jet ski and banana board as well as photos from feeding the fish under water activity (only). Overall, an amazing experience for especially solo travellers that wish to go on a tour with lively and sociable personalities. I 100% reccomend and definitely will book a tour with WanderSiam again.

Amazing sanctuary but disappointing beach

While the sanctuary of truth was breathtaking the rest of the tour was disappointing, it took us almost an hour and a half to reach the island (bus and 40mn boat) from the sanctuary and the place was overcrowded. Our small group was given only 2 hours on the spot which reduced the type of activities you can do, considering this is also your lunch time. So departing at 7 am from Bangkok and coming back at 6:30 pm, we had strictly speaking only 3 hours of activities. The guide was helpful but the tour operator was inflexible about the pick up point and forced us to go to their office whereas we had closer options available for us.

Awesome Thailand

From starting until the end it was amazing , Sanctuary of truth left me speechless, huge efforts and lots of time and manpower to built such an awesome place , summarizing the History of Thailand in a huge wooden castle . Loved it . The island visit was another add on to my amusement for the day , nice and clean beach , the scenery was breathtaking. Very relaxing the food was awesome. I had a great day on 1st of January 2024

We had such a great time, No - our amazing guide - was very punctual and welcoming. We got assigned to a private, super clean and comfortable car w/AC plus a driver even more nicer, he drove really well. Our first stop was the Sanctuarium of Truth - omg what an amazing experience, that place is just magical and meaningful. Make sure to stay for the whole tour. Our second stop was Pattaya / Coral Island. When we arrived there, No had the fast boat ready for us to go to the island and also the sun loungers were ready upon our arrival. She also recommended us a place to eat and the food was delicious. We did snorkeling and we really enjoyed it; if you want to be more adventurous, you can do parasailing;they also have other water activities. Bottom line, we had the best time, and No made sure of it. We are so very thankful for the hospitality and kindness.

Great experience with Nok as a guide

We had a great experience going on this trip. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and we were provided with water bottles. The tour was on time throughout, and Nok was a wonderful and very friendly guide. She helped us actively, and lead us through Pattaya very well. We would definitely recommend this trip to others!

Safe and Sound Trip to add in your travel diary

The trip was safe and sound. Didn’t expect it to be a private tour but it turned out to be just myself and my friend. There was a driver who took us to each itinerary points in his SUV. We got picked up from our pickup location at around 6:50 in the morning, then we started from the sanctuary of the truth (1hourish) then went to Pataya Island (3hourish). The way back to the hotel started from 3:30 in the afternoon and arrived back to the accommodation around 6pm. It was a full day trip. Our guide (Nok) was like a mother, a decent elderly lady who made sure everything was being followed by schedule. I thank you for being part of my memories of Thailand. I would like to wish you on all your future endeavors.

Amazing trip to Pattaya!!

Nok - our tour guide was so lovely and cheerful, thank you so much to her for an amazing day. We visited the sanctuary of truth museum which was such a beautiful piece of architecture. We also spent 4 hours on an island in Pattaya, there were so many activities to do - the highlight for us was definitely sea walking. It was so calm and peaceful under the sea and it was amazing to see all the different types of sea life on the ocean floor!!

Amazing Experince

This was our first tour in Thailand and it was really wonderful. Nok was our tour guide, she is very friendly and accommodating. We are a family of 4 with a 2 year old kid. Even though it was a group tour , the other party cancelled at the last minute and we got a private experience for the day, including a 11 seater vehicle all to ourselves. Nok took care of all the tickets, admissions and even our backpacks when we went for swimming. She is lovely and caring to her customers . Would definitely recommend this tour company.

Relaxing trip

We went on this trip with Nok. She took such good care of us! She gave us plenty of time at each tourist spot so we could cover as much as possible. She took care of our dietary needs too ( we are vegetarians) and all other one off requests we had. We had a great time and would highly recommend this trip to all.

Great way to see some Thai Islands

I wanted to see Pattaya without staying in Pattaya, since I'm not interested in partaking in any of the nightlife there. This was a great way to do that. You make the drive to Pattaya from Bangkok which is about two hours. There's a stop along the way at a rest stop where you can get drinks and go to the bathroom. The vehicle has some tissue to use since the rest stops don't provide toilet paper. The first stop we made in Pattaya was at the Sanctuary of Truth. The guide will take care of getting the tickets and getting you to the English Guide who works at the Temple of Truth. You'll listen to the history of the museum and some tenets of Buddhism and their meaning and see how things are carved and shaped as you go. When the English Guide is done, you meet back up with the tour guide. I was able to grab a coffee at the temple before we left. If you can't walk up and down stairs though, this isn't recommended as a tour for me, in my opinion. You have to go down and back up stairs to get to the top. There may be an Accessible option I didn't see, so I'd reach out to the company. After the Sanctuary of Truth, the guide and driver take you to the marina used to get on a boat to Koh Larn. Driving down the main road along the Bay where the beaches are reminded me of Waikiki. I think I'd really like visiting Pattaya during the day actually. If I go back to Thailand, I plan to actually visit Pattaya. At the marina, there is a 20 minute fast boat, and a 50 minute slow boat which is bigger. We were able to do the fast boat going out, but we took the slow boat coming back due to the wind and waves. Before the tour I took Dramamine for motion sickness and didn't experience any with either boat thankfully. You do have to get off the boat right along the shore so either wear shorts and shoes you don't mind getting wet, or going in barefoot with pants rolled. There's no dock there. The slow boat takes you to one side of the island which was gorgeous. We took a truck taxi to the other side of the island which was nice and breezy and covered from the sun. I liked seeing the island as a whole and not just one beach. When we got to the beach that had the marina for the slow boat, we took a break for lunch. The restaurant the guide took me to was really good and I could order a vegetarian option. I got some really tasty pad thai without meat or shrimp. After eating, it's possible to either take a nice walk along the beach or use rented beach chairs. There was even different water sport activities. I chose to just walk along the beach with my feet in the water, sipping on a smoothie. It was really pleasant. The slow boat back is on a proper marina, so you don't have to get in the water to climb on board. I got a seat on the side at the front of the boat to enjoy both the wind and the view. You pass quite a few islands on the way back. The water is super green and pretty and it was an enjoyable trip. Once back at the marina in Pattaya, we hopped back in the vehicle and drove back to Bangkok. Since I chose to go on a Friday, once in Bangkok, there was a bit of traffic, but the driver dropped me back at the hotel. This was a great trip overall, and I really got to see somethings I wanted to see without committing to spending a lot of time there.

If you take speedboat, you had better change to swimwear before getting, otherwise you will be quoted soaked. Else we enjoyed a lot,thanks.

I went on this trip with my husband for our honeymoon. Our tour guide's name was Nok. Nok was amazing! We are from USA and totally our of our element, but Nok made us feel welcome and safe. She knows the area very well and always showed me where I could use the bathroom! We had a great time on the tours, shopping, and eating. We loved this trip so much!!!

The Sanctuary? A modern day masterpiece; too amazing to be documented fairly. Then the beach… I can’t recall being so relaxed and having a delicious lunch. Nok was our tour guide and she was super friendly and packed with valuable information to share.

A must on your trip to Bangkok

The best choice! We really enjoy this tour , we had a free day in a rushed trip to Bangkok and we wanted to see the beach, but we didn’t know that the sanctuary of truth existed and it was the best part of our trip, also coral island was great, it was a personalized experience and our tour guide “Sunday” was very friendly and help us a lot

Welcoming Foreigners with Covid-19 awareness from Local Thailand. Foreigners are Warmly welcome and can go without mask but local Thailand are protecting and keeping awareness of Covid-19 is really impressive. Grab are more useful than some Taxi .

The Sanctuary of Truth is a must see

The Sanctuary of Truth was the highlight. Absolutely breathtaking. Nok was a wonderful guide, and very informative as we made our way around the Sanctuary. Koh Larn was beautiful but crowded. The restaurant Nok recommended was excellent. Nok and our driver Ice were fantastic. They dropped me at my hotel even though it was not on the pickup route and it was a very busy Friday night. The van was very comfortable. The tour is definitely worth it for the Sanctuary alone.

Worth the trip to the Sanctuary of Truth alone

By far the Sanctuary of Truth was the highlight. Nok was a wonderful guide providing a lot of information on the Sanctuary. The beach was nice though crowded as was expected on a Friday. Lunch at the restaurant Nok recommended was excellent. Thanks to Nok and our driver Ice for a wonderful day.

Once in a lifetime Experience in the Sanctuary of Truth

Visiting the Sanctuary of Truth is once in a lifetime! The architecture and design of the place is amazing. It is made in wood and is maintained everyday. Nok was great in keeping me company all throughout the trip. The guide in the museum named Leni also told some good stories about the place. They were also kind enough to drop me off to my hotel. Overall, this trip was amazing! I enjoyed it a lot.

Surreal experience

Had a surreal experience visiting Coral Island and majestic Sanctuary of Truth museum. Ms. Nok was extremely kind and helpful. She took care of senior citizen passengers very well.

We had Nok as our tour guide and she was helpful. Sanctuary of Truth was beautiful. 42 years of making and still in the process. Just wow! Had a little issue during my time on the coral island but it got resolved by comprising. I still recommend it to everyone tho.

Fantastic Day Trip

Our lovely guide Bonnie and Driver Frank made us feel relaxed from the outset. We were also a small group so made it feel more personal. The first stop at the Sanctuary of Truth was a surreal and spiritual experience. We then moved onto Pattaya where we had an exhilarating ride via speed boat to the Island where we chilled for a few hours and and ate good food before returning to Pattaya. If you want a break from Bangkok this is a great day out that I would highly recommend.

Amazing guide

Amazing tour guide Morn was really considerate in every aspect. We had a fantastic tour with her and the driver Frank. I am traveling alone with my son who’s twelve years old. We felt safe and in good hands at all times. She knew everything we asked about and was really informative. She didn’t waste any time at all and the tour felt very complete and satisfying. Tour of Pattaya Sanctuary of truth and the Pattaya iland

Jet ski was the best expirisnce for me and my two kids who are 14teen femle and 11 male.under water sea life,the bad feeling which came to the ear is disturbing.However,it is memorable n enjoyable.The Guide Surina was best she amazed us with great humility , hambleness faithfullines and respect.She treats us like a king.She is proffesional when she gives a guide.She manages the time properly for every activiies.If I get a chance to go to visit again,I will go with her she is the best Me and my family likes her very much.She knows what to do and how to do it perfectly.I also thank our driver,he is also nice and easy to communicate.

NOK & Tum - The WanderSiam Team

NOK & Tum We are so grateful to NOK & Tum. The weather didn't want to cooperate that day and yet these two did the best they could with the conditions of that day. So I'll start with something I'd like for them to improve upon and then tell you how wonderful they were to us When you book the excursion, you'll get an email confirmation. They tell you where and when to meet based on your location in Bangkok. Now the location is perfect... except the street names (in person and in the email) are written in Thai script. They told us to meet them around the corner from the Police Station (across from a temple) but it's multiple corners ... written in Thai lettering. Now, that's difficult for someone unfamiliar with the Thai lettering. Instead of having us meet them around the corner from the police station, I think it's best for THEM to meet US at the police station. Not the foreigners trying to locate them. The police station is clearly visible and written in "English lettering" as well as Thai script. Note to company: Come to your participants instead of participants searching multiple corners around the police station for your office/van. I actually turned on my international roaming to use Google Maps and entered the Thai script letters into the app to find your location (or the correct corner) I was the only one with international roaming so if I didn't have it, we wouldn't have made it to the meeting point. Just a suggestion to make it easier for your future participants. It was a 2 hour ride to the beach. Tum did an excellent job driving. We were able to charge our cell phones on the journey. The van was Air conditioned. Tum & Nok stopped for bathroom /coffee breaks. (Don't forget to bring toilet tissue with you... sometimes there's no tissue in public bathrooms but not at the ones Tum & Nok took us to. Just another experience I had elsewhere on the road to Bangkok) NOK explained every step we took along the way, such as what to expect next When we got to Pattaya Beach, the weather stopped cooperating! You could see the waves on the ocean. It was really rough seas. The ferry over to Pattaya Koh Larn Coral Island was shut down and understandably so. This was out of their control and I appreciate that they put our safety above everything else. I love that they proactively searched alternative arrangements for us to do. You could clearly tell NOK was trying to make the best out of the stormy weather. I mean NOK got out in the POURING rain to inquire about the ferry but it was clear, the waters were rough and the ferry was closed. NOK presented us with alternative options and asked us what we would like to do. They sought out alternatives and didn't leave it to us to figure out what to do. Which was a relief because we're not familiar with this resort area. Although we didn't get to Pattaya Koh Larn Coral Island, we went to Jomtien Beach and had absolutely the best Sea Bass lunch. (Sunlight Seafood & Hotel) The whole fish and Blue Hawaiian drinks were made heavy handed. Perfect NOK arranged for us to have some seats on the beachside after our lunch. Tum & Nok waited for us. We were there for many hours. We watched all the vendors come over and offer to sell us something. NOK and Tum made the best out of the day after the weather interfered. I saw and appreciated their efforts to make the best of the situation. They found a restaurant for us that took credit cards. They found seats for us on the beach. They explained why we did something like stop for coffee/rest room break. They found a beautiful alternative arrangement for us. You won't be disappointed booking with them. They were definitely concerned about our safety but our happiness for the day excursion. We all slept on the way back (except NOK & Tum of course). Ps. NOK took us to Sanctuary of Truth and it was a wonderful pit stop on the way to Pattaya Koh Larn Coral Island. Ladies be sure to bring something to cover you shoulders and legs like a beach sarong if you're wearing shorts or shoulder exposed tops. Otherwise you'll have to rent a covering for $11USD or ฿400 at the entrance. Be prepared to walk down 60 steps (that means walk back up 60 steps) NOK & Tum took great care of us I'd book with them again.
