Great dinner cruise for couples!

The dinner was phenomenal! Everything was delicious and unique. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. If it is the hot season, definitely bring a hand fan. Also, we got stuck in traffic and almost missed the boat. Plan on leaving extra extra early to make it on time.

This is a must do cruise

Outstanding tour. I am a chef and was looking forward to the dinner served on this beautiful ship. Presentation was second to none. Sadly, the flavours fell a little short. Textures were perfect, but l feel the chef (who we met after) catered to the western pallet. Understandable really as most were westerners. The ship is magical, the staff amaizing the view was to die for. Thankyou

Bangkok Must do Experience

From the get-go you are treated with total professionalism and attention. The jam packed 2 hour cruise highlights the sights of the Chao Praya River that goes through the heart of Bangkok. From early colonial buildings, beautiful temples, modern architecture, houses on stilts on a bustling water way whilst being fed a 6 course (Premium) meal of culinary delights of Asian/Western fusion. The staff (Unif, Venus and DaDa) attended to your every need delivering your food and drinks with precision and care. This cruise is a well oiled machine - I can not recommend it enough.

Amazing experience!

The staff and the food were incredible! The overall ambiance as well (even if they had a little trouble putting the music on), the music was very good. With only 60 ish passengers, it gives a private feeling to the whole dinner compared to all the other cruises available. Overall great experience and worth every penny!

Perfect dining tour. Nightmare to book...

The dinner cruise was perfect. But booking was a nightmare. I've tried directly with Manohra and 3 creditcards were never accepted but I never knew why there was no response since I've submitted the payment. I lost almost 2 hours. Then I went to Viator , but there was no choice of menu categories. The payment worked but the confirmation didn't come soon. I've call Manohra trying to upgrade, they asked me to return to Viator. It worked!!!! BUT...The Viator booking confirmation finally came , for the 7pm tour. We arrived at the meeting point and were in formed there are no tour on mondays 7pm. Only 8:30... But the dinner and cruise were really good!!!

Great food and amazing service!! We took the 5 pm boat and missed the night lights, but were lucky to be alone on the boat!!

worth the price for a sit down experience

Unlike the buffet style of other cruises, the atmosphere was very good as the thai meal was served slowly on a small cruise ship. Most of the passengers were tourists, and the seasoning of the food was quite mild. It was easy to eat with standard menus such as Tom Yum Kung, Massaman curry, mango and sticky rice. an excellent evening

Scam!

We deeply regret this choice. This cruise is a complete rip-off. The food is really bad. The meal served is not worth half the price or even a third. The dishes served are not even mediocre. 100€ per person for a dinner including drinks is a lot of money, especially in Thailand. Here, we don't care about our customers. For the same price we dined the day before in a Michelin-starred restaurant and the dinner was a festival. We like sincere food, whatever the type or level of the establishment serving it. Here we're really in a tourist trap. Sure, the junk is pretty and the cruise pleasant, but it's not worth a third of the Payet price. The wines served are also mediocre. A Chardonnay that's too mineral, a rosé that's really no good, even though pink is an easy wine. The Californian red is barely acceptable. The service is entrusted to juniors who know little or nothing about hospitality, even though our waiter was a charming, attentive young man. Finally, they had completely forgotten my wife's birthday, even though I had informed them of it in writing at the time of booking and reminded them of it at the reception desk, where the young woman confirmed that she had taken note of it. All this is neither serious nor to be recommended. Don't waste your time or your money on this kind of booby trap. At lasr you have To pay in d’avance the full amont of the dîner and cannot ne chanceler even two months before,

Relaxing paced wooden boat

It was a very nice wooden boat, the service from entrance to the end was extremely good and “fine dining” higher class type of thing. I think the price is a bit high, but the service level was very high as well. I probably would have opted to do the cheaper ones with a buffet next time but this one was quiet and classy, suitable for a date night or something of that. Overall I think most people would be satisfied with this selection.

A fabulous way to see Bangkok in luxury!

This cost a little more than some of the other dinner cruises in Bangkok, but the food was excellent, and it is not buffet style. We had some nice drinks and snacks at the hotel, waiting for the cruise to depart. Some of the appetizer courses included dry ice with the plate to provide the effect of smoke. The sites from the river at night, including Wat Arun dazzling under the spotlights!

Romantic evening in Bangkok

Beautiful evening on the Chao Phraya river. We only had a day and a half in Bangkok and stayed at the Avani riverside because we wanted to tour the temples and take water taxis up and down the river. When I found this cruise, I knew this would be the perfect way to end our day sightseeing. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. There’s nothing like seeing Wat Arun all lit up at night from the river—the view is spectacular. We booked the 8:30 slot which was perfect because we had drinks first on the rooftop of the Avani to watch the sunset. This cruise is worth the splurge—just book it.

Excellent experience

Very well organized dinner cruise. Great experience with lovely staff and tasty dinner. Hilghly recommend it when you want to avoid the crowd at one of the big and loud cruises.

Magical

From beginning to end, the staff were super friendly and the food was outstanding. We went on the 7-9pm as we felt the ambience on the river would be just right for us. We wanted to see Bangkok when the river was flooded with lights of nearby shops, restaurants, bars and one of the famous temples which lit up at night. Highly recommend as a must to do in Bangkok.

Beautiful Dining Boat cruise

Fabulous evening , the food was delicious and excellently presented , the staff were attentive , polite and courteous all evening . Well worth it . Thoroughly enjoyed our evening in Bangkok .

Thai River Cruise

This cruise was recommended by our hotel, Rose Residence (which I highly recommend) and was worth every penny! We had planned to go on a river cruise on one of the larger "western" boats with a buffet but the concierge showed us this one and it was the right choice. I think there was only 24 passengers and we had plated meals that were beautifully presented. Every dish was delightful, and I'm not a big fan of Asian food :) The service was perfect and included a talk about the sites we went by. We chose the sunset cruise and were so happy to see that, and then the lights along the river. The boat itself was really cool!

Great dinner cruise

Fantastic dinner cruise, great staff on boat and looking after check in and boarding, great food and presentation, and good to be on a smaller boat compared to the huge dinner boats on the river

I didn’t love this cruise. The food was okay and it was stiflingly hot, no fans or way to cool off. As everywhere I have been in Thailand, the staff was very friendly accommodating.

Most beautiful boat on the river and wonderful dining

My husband and I loved our Manohra dinner cruise! The rice barge was so beautiful with it's polished wood beautiful shape. It was definitely the most elegant boat we saw on the river. Dinner was multiple courses and we enjoyed them all. Even the table settings were lovely. The staff was very attentive and professional, we could not have expected better. The river is so beautiful at night! The boat leaves from a dock that is a south down the river from the Temple of the Dawn, the Grand Palace, etc---so you get to cruise passed of of them. My best night pics of the Temple of the Dawn came from this cruise. We got our tickets on Viator, everything was very smooth and easy.

What a wonderful way to spend our last evening in this beautiful country! The boat was lovely and was set up so beautifully. The staff were all very kind and friendly and the food was amazing! We could not have enjoyed it more. I highly recommend this dinner cruise!

Extraordinary experience

This dinner cruise was included with the CAA tour that I was on. We were 19 people and had the entire boat to ourselves. The service was impeccable and the food was the most amazing that I have ever tasted. I can't recommend this experience enough.

Fine welcome at the hotel where the cruise sets off. Drinks for boat overpriced. Old rice boat is lovely. On cruises such as these the key is either great food (here it was unmemorable) or / and fabulous views (one highlight). Simply didn’t get the wonderful vibe as dinner cruises in Amsterdam, Budapest or Paris despite attentive staff.

Fantastic Birthday Celebration

We booked this river cruise for my birthday and it was one of the highlights of our trip! The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. The food was tasty, the views were breathtaking, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The birthday cake and glass of champagne was the cherry on top of a lovely evening. Thank you!

Honeymoon dinner cruise

Beyond our expectations - we had a fabulous time on this dinner cruise as part of our honeymoon. The food was delicious and the staff were so kind. Alcoholic Drinks were extra and not cheap but it was a luxury experience

From the check in to the end of the trip we had a great time and highly recommended this trip. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our glasses were never left empty, we had the full drinks package. I would like to thank Eve, Tawan and Natty for their attention to us.

Very good

The boat is beautiful. The ambience was perfect. No loud music dancing kind of crowd. Hosts were very polite and made you feel good. Food could have been better. Please add another 45 - 60 mins to google maps estimate of the time it takes to reach the pier because rush hour traffic is horrible. You can relax and enjoy the beauty from the pier also. It is behind a nice 5 star hotel with relaxed seating with tables.

Fabulous, fantastic 5 star experience

Personally I think this is the best dinner river cruise available. The boat is a former rice barge, its full 5 star from arrival to departure. If you want flashing lights and loud music, this is not for you. Our evening the boat had an exclusive group of 20 guests for a seated, exceptional Thai cuisine. I saw the other boats and boy I was happy not to be on them!! Smaller vessel, was initially worried I may get travel sick. But I was fine. Highly recommended

Avoid on NYE

Me and my fiancé went on the midnight river cruise on New Year’s Eve 2023/24. The service starts in the restaurant where you will be provided with a small selection of street food and a welcome drink before ordering your drink of choice onboard and making your way to the boat. The service was good and the food was great, however, they were very reluctant to fill my champagne glass to what I believe is a normal level… uk portion anyway. I would have preferred for them to not come over every 5mins, please just fill the glass up to an expected level rather than a miserable quarter of a champagne glass. (See photos). If you’re spending £300 pp to see the fireworks… you really should be able to see the fireworks without having to clamber through people at the front of the boat. For me this ruined the experience and for the price I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to do it in future on NYE. Book an open rooftop boat or a party instead and make the most.

Excellent service, beautifully presentation and very tasty food. Spacious and beautifully restored wooden rice barge with ample room to move around for beautiful views of Bangkok’s skyline. The dinner cruise check-in at the Anantara Resort pier was efficient and comfortable. We received a welcome drink on the beautiful patio by the river before boarding. They also handed out complementary bug spray which we didn’t end up needing. This cruise felt exclusive and relaxed, and the instrumental Thai music added to the distinguished, calm ambiance. Unlike some of the louder and busier party cruise boats with buffet dinners, the Manohra cruise is a lovely multi-course sit-down dinner, exquisitely presented with very high quality food! The service by our attentive waiters Jolie, DaDa, Yotha and Pocky was impeccable. For the most unobstructed views, the tables at the bow of the boat are best, but all seats offer great views, and those covered by the deck are less windy. Because the tables are spaced fairly far apart, there is plenty of room to move around to enjoy views from all angles. Highly recommended!

The best dining on the river.

A really relaxing way to eat. Our third time (each time the boat has got a bit bigger!) and each time the organisation is even more fine-tuned. Great service, very personalised, and an excellent fine dining experience.

Great staff, great views and great atmosphere and the food good.

I've been coming to Bangkok for 20 years but have never done a river cruise, so thought I'd try this for my birthday with my Thai wife. Firstly, the staff on the boat were amazing! Service was perfect, they were there when you needed them but weren't asking you every 5 minutes if you enjoyed your meal like some places that are "upmarket". Fantastic all round service! The food and drinks were delivered like clock work, very impressed. The views, the boat and the atmosphere onboard were just great, my partner and I enjoyed this cruise very much. The food while good isn't what I'd consider authentically typical Thai flavours and spice, but understandable as its catered to a WesternTourist pallet. Still very good but lacks the punch I'm use to, my Thai wife had the same comments. It is quite an expensive cruise but everything was more or less excellent and well executed so can't complain too much. Highly recommended!

Romantic evening

Wow, what an incredible river cruise. The attention to every detail from arrival to departure made this experience much better than we anticipated. Every table enjoys a Riverside position and they are spaciously positioned. The menu is fixed and will give you an excellent representation of Thai food with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the drinks package and we had the standard menu which was more than ample. Tips...book ahead as it fills up.

Great food and night lights. Attentive service , welcoming canapés and drink was nice. Indian wedding at departure wharf was a bonus.

Beyond expectation

Staff was wonderful.. not only was dinner served nicely but they also helped with getting my walker and assisting us to our taxi. Food was tasty and beautifully presented. Would gladly recommend this dinner cruise.

100% Excellent!

My party of 3 absolutely LOVED this dinner cruise! Trust me on this... we cruised VERY COMFORTABLY on our small boat and enjoyed a fabulous meal, all the while laughing at the larger buffet boats that were also on the river. If you want a super pleasant evening cruising the river and enjoying a multi-course table delivered delicious meal... this is the way to go!

A Great Way to See Some Major Bangkok Landmarks at Night

A wonderful way to see some of the major Bangkok landmarks at night. The boat was comfortable; seating a breeze; really fun! The dinner itself was excellent too! I’d highly recommend this cruise for anyone, couples or families!

A stunning evening beautifully organised

The cruise is excellent Sadly the wooden boat we had hoped for was "out of action" but the larger metal boat was great albeit slightly less atmospheric. The whole experience was excellent and really well organised. Staff were marvellous both on dock and on boat, the food was exceptional, beautifully presented and served on well set tables. A small map of the river and major highlights was provided in front of the menu/wine list but difficult to access and not very informative. I would be helpful to provide a small leaflet that people could take away with them, in Thai/English showing the major places on the river with a short descriptive paragraph outline the history and use of the buildings and the bridges. This could also include brief description of points of interest on the river not included in the main map for example a number of small ship yards, interesting inlets etc etc to give hisorical context I hope this is helpful This aside the trip was wonder and very well worth the cost Thank you

Wonderful dinner in a beautiful setting

Fantastic dinner while sailing for 2 hours on the river. We were able to see the temples lit up at night in a lovely environment. The food was delicious. Highly recommend this booking

i booked this dinner in celebrationof our Honeymoon. Howver,i recieved a message that they needed to cancel my reservation due to an unexpected private event, which was disappointing since it was the only night we were available. i cancel and booked a different dinner cruise. Only to see notice they never officially canceled my reservation, and they still charge me for the dinner cruise. I thought this might be a misunderstanding. after quite a few messages, they did not want to refund me. This is not right or honest. it wasnt fair they ask me to cancel and then charge me. i am still fighting to get my refund. Poor comunication and business

Wonderful experience with very well presented food and free flow of soft drinks We also opted for wine by glass, such a lovely way to sit, relax and enjoy your time Highly recommend for a chilled evening. Lovely first night in Thailand!

Such a wonderful first night in Bangkok & Thailand! This was the first night of our honeymoon, and we wanted something memorable to get us started. We went up the main strip of the river seeing 9-10 of the key sights, with a stop near Wat Arun to take photos with the temple in the background. The food itself was lovely, at least 5 courses, all wonderfully prepared and presented - they tasted great too. Cocktails were correctly priced and wonderful & strong. Staff were very attentive, explaining the sights we were seeing, but also delivering a 5* dinner service too! We preferred this to the roof top dining experience that we did a different night, as it really felt you were in the heart of Bangkok & the food was much nicer!

Magical night

We enjoyed seeing the different sights along the river which was more magical when seen at night. The presentation and service of the food was impeccable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Vegus and the young man in the red Thai outfit (apologies for not getting his name) were especially attentive and so very courteous. It was truly a special night that will live in our memories forever. We recommend this to all visitors looking for a relaxing, romantic evening.
