Awesome tour, so worth the trip!

This tour was great and Lin was an amazing tour guide! Our hotel wasn’t in the pick up zone yet they still picked us up anyways which was really nice. I highly recommend this tour because they take you to the salt flats and the coconut sugar farm too which helps break up the 1.5 hour drive each way. Lin is really chatty and shares heaps of helpful information along the way. The train market was great, and because we were a small group she took us to the train station and we got to ride the train in which was a very unique experience! She really looks out for you and was doing everything she could to make sure we got the best seats on the train. The floating market was also amazing! Definitely request Lin as your tour guide.

Enjoyable tour

Great tour :) Lin was a great guide, helping us not get in the way of locals, get good prices, and explaining everything with lots of energy. We went to the train market, sea salt farm, coconut sugar farms, and the floating market.

Lin was great! Went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure a strong tour experience. Especially unique was how we went to the sea salt and coconut farms in addition to the floating market and rail market. Would certainly recommend to others!

Great tour, great guide (ask for Lin!!)

Lin is great. She gave us the best photo vantage point for the pictures at the train market. Lin also made sure that we rode the train thru the train market. The floating market was also pretty. There were two extra destinations, including coconut farm and salt farm. Both were eye opening. Would recommend this tour and ask for Lin!

Best tour in Thailand!!!!

I booked this tour for husband, daughter and myself. It may have been the best tour or our 17 day trip around Thailand. The tour was private and focused on my family. I didn’t realize that when I booked. The price was great and the guide was amazing! She was knowledgeable and friendly. We visited a Salt farm and Coconut farm. These were brief and fun. The Train market and float market was everything we were expecting and more. We even got to sample several treats along the trip without extra charge. I can’t say enough about our awsome guide! Every recommendation she gave us was delicious!!!! From the fruit to the mango sticky rice to the meal at the end of our tour, everything was outstanding and I couldn’t have asked for more. She even told us where to shop and help us get a good deal.

Once in a life time - Ask for Pop!

I booked this through an application that I've never used before, and after reading mixed reviews, I became worried. However, I received a message from our tour guide Poppy (Pop) stating when pick up was and that all was good. We had a full bus! The 6 of us, a couple from Canada and a couple from the USA. I think Pop was awesome! As I am on crutches when we got to the railway market, she offered a safer route for me to walk, which I was grateful for, and saw more of the town that I enjoyed. We saw the salt farms, rode the train into the market, walked along the tracks, saw the coconut farm, and as we had some extra time, she offered us to see some tigers. I was apprehensive, but she promised they don't hurt them. We all agreed, and when we got there, we took the opportunity to have some photos with the tigers. Nearly all the tigers were rescued. They are not drugged and are not mistreated. The tiger we got to see, have photos with, and pat was more interested in the food than us. After this, we went to the floating markets. These markets have been around in the canals since the 1800s. How it wasn't until the 1970s that they were put on the tourist routes. Very very busy, but an experience that will last a lifetime!! Pop did the best with accommodating everyone, food, experiences, etc, and I think that if you can book this tour and ask for a guide, you should definitely try and get Pop!! I had the best time and loved the knowledge, life experience, and generosity of Pop!!

Train through the market and into memories.

Our guide was super sweet and kind. The tour itself was a unique experience through interesting markets. The train passing through the market and watching all the people and stores scrambling to get out of the way is a memorable moment.

Floating market

Celebrated Thai New Year with locals at Salt Farm-dancing and music! Enjoyed train ride to railway market. Floating market was amazing. Had great mango and sticky rice. Nina was a wonderful guide and a lot of fun. Also went to coconut farm-even climbed up a tree.

Great way to enjoy the sights

The Tour was an amazing adventure. The Guide, named MK was friendly and amazingly helpful. The hotel pickup was punctual. We had a great time #on the train adventure~ took a short memorable train ride to Maeklong Station. Then the tour did a coconut farm adventure ~ the process of coconut sugar. Lastly the Damnoen Saduak floating market ~ enjoyable boat ride down the 'river'. Finally, everyone got off at MBK Centre.

Lots of travelling but a great insight

Cat our tour guide was fantastic and spoke amazing English and was very knowledgeable. Fascinating trip to see the markets - long way back but in big air conditioned minivan and we slept as we had early start

Good tour that could be better

The tour itself was good. We enjoyed the three stops and visiting the two markets. Our guide had everything organized in a too tight manner, we didn’t have at any point not even 1 minute to explore any of the stops ourselves, making us feel rush all the time. In the floating market, we stayed 35 min (opposite to the 1h plus listed in the itinerary) and when we wanted to stop to buy mango sticky rice, we didn’t and told us later later but that never happened, On the way back, all the participants were dropped at a point far from the hotels where we were staying. Since we passed really close to our hotel with the van, we asked if we could be dropped off there but our request was once again ignored. In general the tour is ok, but there are many aspects to improve in terms of customer service

An adventure for the whole family near Bangkok

Such value great time!

The value for this experience was out of this world for what you get... Lin, our guide was so friendly, exhuberant, and tried so hard to make us happy and get all the pictures and experiences no one else did.. train ride pics, floating market, coconut farm, and finished with yummy lunch.. (you pay) the van was cool and comfortable and there was seperate driver so she can focus on guests. Shes been doing this 30 years..gives you all info she can while driving.. there was a lot of traffic, we ran late but made up for it.. 6 people on tour..and we all had a riot.. such fun group. I would use this company and Lin again in heartbeat. :)

I enjoyed the tour I was in today with groups friend, and Lin was our guide. She was very informative and explained well the history of Train market, floating market, salt fany farm and cocunt farm. This was an amazing trip with Lin (our tour guide) 10/10. She is very passionate about her work and spreads this with us. She gave us time to digest all three places we visited and gave us a nice history of thailand and the temples. She is full of joy and cares about her work a lot.

Great Experience. Loved it.

Great experience visiting the Railway Market and the Floating Market. Real fun and excitement as the train arrives at the market, hundreds waving and taking photo's. You spend approx 45 mins walking through the market and then watch the train drive back through the market. Good fun on motor boat driving through canal streets of the Floating Market, not much opportunity to buy anything. Our tour guide Jim had everything well organised. Its a long journey there but broken up with a stop at the Salt plains and Coconut Sugar Farm. Definitely worth a trip there.

Nice way to experience Bangkok

Poppy, our guide was extremely bubbly and interactive. The railway market although a bit chaotic is a must have experience. The coconut farm was very interesting with tasty treats but the highlight was the floating markets. The ride in the boat and seeing the houses on the canal was amazing. The downside about the floating market is that we couldn't really buy anything due to the excessive tourists boats down the canal but still a memorable experience and the items at the floating are similar around bangkok in any event but would have loved the opportunity to reach out and buy an item or two from the floating market boats just for the thrill.

A Lovely day with Lin!

What a brilliant day trip. Lin our guide was truly amazing. She was attentive, fun, knowledgeable and kept us all safe throughout. We first made it to get on the train to go through the market, after that Lin lead us to a safe location inside the market to watch the train pass through, taking multiple pictures of every person there. We then headed to a coconut farm where Lin explained the full process and demonstrated all the tools. We finally went to the floating market which was a busy but enjoyable experience seeing all the locals and their homes! The highlight of the trip was definitely having Lin as our guide, she explained the history of all the locations, kept us all together and on time and made it lots of fun. Really happy to have booked this trip and would recommend to others!!

A must do Excursion

Loved the railroad market to see how fast they open and close their shops when the train goes by and loved the floating market to see how busy it was and everyone was cool and calm and helped each other maneuver through the canal. Our tour guide Tip was amazing and she bought us Mango with sticky rice which was absolutely delicious.

Unforgettable experiences

The train arrival in the market was unbelievable! I had read about this but you have to experience it in person to fully appreciate it. Then the floating market was beyond my wildest imagination. What a wonderful day and these experiences I will always treasure. Our guide, Pui, did an excellent job of helping me with my mobility issues. He also took wonderful [pictures of me and my adult son at every stop on the tour as well as positioning us for the best shots. We learned so much from Pui and thoroughly enjoyed his explanations during the tour.

The train ride to the market place was great! We had coffee before boarding the train. Informative and Fun Tour- Exceptional! Highly recommend Petch as your guide!!

My husband and I spent an amazing day with Petch on our Railway and Market tour. We were picked up from our hotel in Bangkok on time by Petch and her driver. The minivan was Spacious, comfortable and extremely clean- bottled water was provided. Communications before our tour were easy.. w special effort to customize our tour to our liking. Petch was knowledgeable and very friendly and our driver (Dhow) was excellent! Our first stop was the railway market which I would highly recommend for anyone. While the surrounding streets began to Flood due to rising seas (unprecedented levels!) Petch went above and beyond to make sure we were able to avoid the rising (dirty) waters and stay dry. We then visited a coconut grove and museum- actually very interesting. We then went to 2 floating markets- one was smaller where more locals shop and eat and the second definitely more touristy and crowded. It was nice to see the differences.. good and bad! Overall a very good day especially due to our amazing Guide Petch!! She’s an absolute dream and I would highly recommend requesting her. My husband and I have taken many tours w many guides and can say with confidence… You will not be disappointed- Petch is amazing and will go out of her way to ensure you have a most memorable day!!

Good trip to see floating market

This excursion out of Bangkok was everything I expected it to be. Visiting the train market was interesting, and of course, the highlight was visiting the floating market. We never would have been able to see the floating market without booking this tour to make all of the arrangements. Our guide was good, and we had a pick-up and drop off at the hotel to make things easier.

A great way to see the train market

Lin was a great guide on our tour! She spoke English well and was very good at communicating about where we were going and what to expect. It was also great that she was taking photos for us throughout the day…it was especially cool to be able to climb onto the front of the train when it had stopped at the market. Since our group was fairly small we had the opportunity to ride the train into the market which was super cool and not something I had anticipated. I also enjoyed learning about coconut sugar and milk production as well as sampling products! A great day all in all.

Interesting Market and Farm Tour!

Our guide Lin took us to the Railway market, Floating market, the coconut farm and the salt farm. She did a great job explaining everything and was enthusiastic and helpful. We were picked up early and that enabled us to be able to ride the train into the market. We enjoyed a comfortable ride out of and back to Bangkok. We had a very interesting tour and learned a lot about Thailand. We ended the tour with a delicious lunch of authentic pad thai and a mango smoothie. Delicious!
