Fantastic Caberet Evening.

It's fun, it's camp and it's caberet! If you don't get that, don't go! But if that's what you like, you won't beat this. For the money, it's extremely good value. BTW, no seats are bad seats. The semi-circle layout around the stage is very intimate. Overall, a very good experience. Just give yourself enough time to get there as the traffic at show time is extremely heavy. Even short distances take an age to travel.

Great show but the free beer is a LIE

Great show, but the ticket states it comes with 1 free drink (soda or beer). The doorman denied my request for a beer and said the website was old. Felt like I was getting conned for such a dumb reason.

Can watch once def

Ok. Good performances. It is in the city and during peak city time traffic is extensive, plan your commute or cab ride accordingly. Fpr Indians, there is a Punjabi Restaurant at the entrance of Asiatique mall which is brilliant.

Interesting

Interesting show. Lip sinking was a little off. Perhaps when they’re talking they could use their natural voices .

The ladyboy cabaret show was amazing and entertaining. I recommend visiting it when you are in Bangkok!!! It's almost a must if you're already in the area :)

Ok for a bit of fun

Good show except everything is lip synced. The show was energetic but at times seemed a little amateurish.

Very disappointing not sure of the purpose of this seating arrangement. Have seen better high school performance. No reason or flow of the songs. Choreography needs some work off step and moves. Never recommend I wanted to leave partially way thru

A night at Calypso

A very entertaining night. The performers wore great costumes and their dancing was excellent. We Really enjoyed the show .

Everyone can have some fun for 90 minutes

Nice size not too big and easy to access venue. Terrence seating so no bad seat! The “free” drink is a bottle or water or semi-warm beer- no big deal. The show itself was average. So pretty average dancing and a few pretty good dancers. The energy level from the crowd was low but for the most part the performers tried to capture the audience. Seat comfort left a lot to be desired as they were as hard as stone. The post show photo shoot was well worth it as the cast of performers are 100% dedicated to bringing joy! Engage!

A must see….

Recommend and was well worth going. A variety of different songs and dances. If I were to critical it was that some so NHS were dated but very glad we went and was a fun night.

Absolutly fantastic! I will definitly recommend this show to anyone going to Bankok. And the Auditorium was really stunning.

Waste of time and money

Horrible lip-syncing, awkward choreography, clumsy costume changes make this a complete waste. They even pipe in applause, cause the audience doesn’t. Then at the end you’re shuffled thru a gauntlet of the performers begging for 100baht photo opps

Cabaret show

We were expecting more of a ladyboy show ..this was mainly ladies dancing and lip syncing. The theater was nice and dinner was good

Good entertainment but book early

We knew what to expect from this show before going. Don't expect Broadway.. the lip syncing can be average at times, but there's not many shows like this..so just go with the flow. Beware of ticket prices however. We thought booking at the ticket office would be just as cheap as online..but 2 hours before the show, tickets at ticket office were 1200 baht. We had seen them online for as low as 700. If you use the official website and book a day ahead they only charge 900. For 1200 baht I'd give the show a miss. 900 or lower is reasonable. And don't get me started on them wanting to charge you for photos after the show!

Funny, big show

the performance was good, but there was too much jazz. it got a bit boring by the end. the performers danced very well and put on a great show.

Calypso Cabaret Show

The show was entertaining. My 2 sons (20 & 16 years old) enjoyed it. My wife felt the selection of some of the performers could be improved. Personally, I applaud the effort in putting the show together. I can see that it takes a lot of effort, training, creativity and good management for such a show to take place. The dancing moves are impressive and I suspect some of the "girls" are really girls as they look so convincing.

Mediocre show, the price is high for such a spectacle. Firstly, because artists do not sing themselves and secondly because they do not dance well. Unfortunately, there is also no energy in performances.

Simply Disappointing. Waste of my money.

First of all, why there are so many old performers? Some of them are out of shape. It is Cabaret show. I like to see the active sing and dance from young people; young vibes. The problem is that they can not dance well and not even synchronize each other. I like Jazz but I do not care for lip-sync jazz. How many Asian audiences enjoy the Jazz? how many Asian audiences enjoy the Broadway type shows? Even in Japanese act, where is Kimono? It is very culturally insensitive. I felt insulted. Your production does not care about Asian audiences. We Asians should not watch your production. Remember who pays more. See the shows in Pattaya and you will know what I am talking about. Your production loves the western culture so much, then at least should learn how to pronounce "sing, sing, sing" correctly?

Classic show tunes and Rihanna

Never been to anything like this before. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the show was - there were some technical errors but everyone was having fun. The format is quite traditional with set pieces to popular tunes - nobody got pulled out the audience or anything. I love a show tune and the scenes were innovative and dazzling. Sometimes it felt like being in an old MGM production. The venue was lovely reminiscent of a speakeasy. We went to the early showing and we as an audience was rubbish. Lots of people were on theirs phones or sat in stoney silence. Only a fraction of the energy coming off the stage was reflected back - which was sad. I would recommend trying the later show if possible. The worst thing about this show is the ending. The audience was funneled out past the assembled performers where we were hassled for money to have a photo. A performer grabbed me and tried to pull me away for a photo. This was sad that these great performers were subjected to this - it felt a bit demeaning.

Good not great

We’ve seen the lady boy shows in Phuket previously and really enjoyed them. This show, however while spectacular in the costumes and some of the dance sequences but the music wasn’t quite as good. The music choices left a lot to be desired with songs from the mid 20th century’s bit out of step for the audience. There was a Rhianna section but that’s about it for modern songs. Asking for money for photos with the performance at the end is also a bit tacky. I got a free beer that was good.

It’s my first time to Bangkok. I heard about people said this is must see show. I’m glad I did. It’s good show. Different experiences.

Lighthearted fun! Campy, silly and beautiful to watch

A lightful and fun time! Don’t go if you’re easily offended. A traditional variety style show, with different featured performers. A nice time before dinner, show is quick and light hearted

Ladyboys not drag queens.

As an American, I love drag culture. I’m not a drag queen myself but I enjoy a good drag performance. I went to this ladyboy show to get a sense of the drag scene in Thailand and it was relatively entertaining. They’re more about passing as women unlike American drag queens are a persona of a sort of character, like Trixie Mattel or Jinx Monsoon. If the title of the show didn’t have the word ladyboy in it I may not have noticed they weren’t ladies, with exception to a few performers you could tell were boys. Over all it was entertaining and the production value was fairly high and the cast was enormous! They seemed to be enjoying themselves and put in a fairly decent show. However, when the show was over and you walk out to the exit, all the performers are waiting outside to greet you and practically screaming at you to take a photo with them.…..…for 50 baht, with one performer. I found this utterly tacky. I would’ve considered taking a photo with them cause it would be fun, but not for 50 baht. I was glad I went but I wouldn’t go again.

Great show

Very entertaining experience with 1 free drink included. Performers put in a great show and you can get pictures with them afterwards Expect dancing show, not actual singing. Dancers are lip singing

Absolutely amazing, such a massive cast who are all brilliantly talented! Watching all that queer joy on stage was so heartwarming, will 100% be returning next time I'm in Bangkok

Wasn’t What I Was Expecting

I’m a professional dancer/performer, so I’m reviewing from that standpoint. Overall, the show was a bit lacking. I did come to the second showing, which is an hour and a half after the first, so I’ll cut them slack for that. But, the dancing wasn’t the best I’ve seen. I can tell a lot of the performers weren’t dancers and may have been speciality hires which brought down the performance value. The lip syncing also wasn’t the best. This could be due to the language barrier because there were songs in English, Chinese, and Hindi. There were also several missed opportunities in the choreography aspect. There would be a rise in the music but the choreography would stay one note. The costuming was gorgeous, garments only, the wigs were most times matted, dull, and dry looking. Lastly, there were two performances that stood out negatively to me. The Marilyn Monroe, this could have been a language issue, but the performer made it one note emotionally. She didn’t build with the song as Marilyn was becoming more and more desperate and pitiful. The second was the Michael Bolton and Patti Labelle performance, the performer who portrayed Patti was very entertaining but it was borderline mocking and disrespectful to the black American culture. The show is listed as family friendly but I would say maybe older teens to adults, not small children. Overall, the energy of the performers stayed at 100% and they worked well with what they were tasked to do.

Great performance and this is what I wanted to watch with 3 youngsters at their early 20's, not too sex appealing just a decent Broadway kind of live show. I think all of the performers had put lots of efforts on practicing how to lip sing popular jazz (which is my fav) to pop songs with full expressions. They can dance they can act they can even make us laugh. Every time when the beautiful ladies and gents (they call themselves girls and boys) stepped out onto the stage brought us new surprises! We went there spontaneously without booking any tickets in advance, and the lady we met at the ticketing office was so kind (Khop Khun Khap🙏) to offer us the best front row seats! You made our day and we love you for that! xx 😍❤️💕 At the end of the show, we took some nice photo's with 10 actresses. 😍❤️🌹 It was an amazing experience in Bangkok after being to this city uncountable times for the past 30 years. Highlight of the show was this part about a gorgeous looking bride and a groom, the story was about love, hate and affairs, and I couldn't believe they actually played the soundtrack song of my play list 玫瑰香 Fragrance of Roses. 🌹🌹🌹😍💕 I will definitely highly recommend to whoever I'm going to meet for the next at least 6 monts. 😆🤭👍💯❤️

Fabulous!!!

Not sure what to expect but it was fabulous. A great show with some real highlights (including one hilarious bit where we laughed out loud). Cheesy enjoyable fun. Oh and you can mingle with the cast (for a small fee) afterwards. Well worth it!

Calypso Ladyboy Cabaret Show

We felt that the show was an average because some of the songs is old material, and it got quite repetitive after each performance. The Ladyboy performers looked amazing in their costumes, and the venue is perfect for the show. Great little tables.

OMG. I didn't know what to expect, but we had a blast. This is a very good show, with high production value abd great performers. They play a lot of known hits, so you can tap your feet along.

Terrible worst show I have ever watched

It was terrible I would never go it that again and it was a waste of money a load of rubbish they was miming the song and did not no the words and it was boring and not even funny me and my husband was disgusted what we watched and one the lady boys looked scared and did not want be there and looked like what are we doing this is inbarrising I felt sorry for her we noticed it strate away I would advise people do not waste your money on this show u be disappointed like me and my husband was

Worth a visit, won’t be disappointed

This was a nice evening out, cheap and cheerful, not busy and not intimidated as some views are stating. Have been to the Simon shows in Phuket which are bigger and take up a whole evening, bit this is fine for a local show that you don’t need to book and so you can pop in if you fancy a good night out after or before a meal.

Entertaining Show

We have visited this show during our stay in Ao Nang and fully enjoyed it. They put a lot of effort in the costumes and performance.

Incredible musical performance

The show was fantastic. First impression the performers mix between man and woman but when come to end just realize all of them are lady boy. Their look more beautiful then original woman. After the show, the cabarets will form a circle at the entrance persuading people to take photos. Don’t be scary because it seems like they will surround you and not allow you to leave without taking photo. Photos is 100baht. Wherever excellent show, with full of magical experience. Highly recommended.

It was really good to experience such a show after the lovely dinner on the White Orchid Reverdife Cruise. Beautiful ambience, fabulous artistic performance. I really enjoyed the evening!

New generation of transvestite show

As far as I can remember, the last time I watched a shemale show was more than ten years ago. I feel that the current ones have caught up with the trend. They are not as good as before. There are stories and stage plays, which are suitable for a family. And the fees are not expensive!

ホテルアジア時代の20年近く前から継続している演目もいくつかあり、演出が完成されていて見応え十分です。バンコクに来たら、必見です。 ただし会場のAsiathiqueへの道路のアプローチは常に大渋滞なので、できればシャトルボートわ利用した方が時間が読めて確実です。
