I honestly didn’t know what to expect with a food tour, but this one, knocked it out of the park. Our tour guide was Jan, and she gave us one of the best experiences ever. Since this was my first time in Thailand, I was so happy that she incorporated a mix of culture, sightseeing spots, and the local foods. I would definitely recommend this food tour for anyone who is visiting… it gives you a great overview of what Bangkok and Chinatown is really about! Thanks again, Jan!

Best tour!

I would recommend this tour to everyone! Our tour guide was Jan and she was AMAZING! She was so sweet and very fun to be around. The food spots she brought us to were all yummy and we were so full by the end of it. Jan also brought us to visit two temples which was a nice touch and we got to see the city more. My group was a group of 9 girls and we all agreed that the tour was one of the best things we did on the trip. We LOVED it and LOVE Jan!!!

Totally recommend this experience

This was a really great experience Highly recommend taking this tour Off the beaten track places that you normally wouldn’t know to visit and might be a bit apprehensive to go to. There was a lot of food - a lot! Be prepared to eat. Outstanding food tour, flavours of the world were sampled. Jan, the tour guide takes you through the back streets of Bangkok to eat quality Asian food rated highly by the locals, the restaurants we visited aren’t known to the daily tourist. Leave enough room for dessert !

Excellent food tour

Excellent food tour of Chinatown with varied experiences from food stalls to sit down restaurants with both Thai and Chinese selections. Got to visit back alley places would never do on our own. Our guide, Jan, provided a lively, informative experience. More food than we could possibly eat.

Delicious food with a wonderful guide

We had the best time with Jan exploring the bylanes of Chinatown in Bangkok! We had amazing food, visited some pretty temples, has our fortunes told and made a whole set of new friends! My only complaint is why was all the food so delicious! We ate till we were bursting! Loved the introduction to Pa tong ko! The Duck noodles soup and the chicken and basil rice were my favourites! Jan's energy was infectious and she told us some very interesting stories about the places we visited!

Absolutely loved it…Jan was so so kind and welcoming…very clear precise directions on where to meet…the food was plentiful and really good…lots of local information…I have been on many food tours around the world and this I can honestly say was the tastiest and most memorable…thanks again for a delicious evening…👍

Walking Food Tour

We had a brilliant evening with Chantana guiding us through the streets of China Town. We tried so many delicious dishes (a lot of food!) and drinks as well as learning about the area. Chantana was great fun and went out of her way to be helpful- would definitely recommend this experience.

Don't Miss Tour when in Bangkok

What a wonderful experience. Our guide, Chantana, provided not only a tour of many tasty out of the way eateries in Bangkok's Chinatown, but complimented the food with a comprehensive history of the area. We were in Thailand for 2 weeks, and this tour was certainly at the top of the list of all of our tours. Highly recommend, a don't miss when in Bangkok!

A great way to dive into Bangkok!

We had such a nice time enjoying the street vendors in Bangkoks Chinatown with Jan—we tasted so many things and felt like we had an inside scoop into an experience that might otherwise overwhelm.

Fantastic food tour with wonderful guide Chantana

The food was fantastic - varying from tiny alley street vendors to fancy restaurants , but what made the tour so special was our guide Chantana, with her wealth of historical and culinary knowledge, her warm and friendly personality, and her efforts to ensure everyone had a great time. We lived in Bangkok many years ago but learned so much on this tour and had a wonderful time thanks to Chantana.

Best way to taste the city at night

Jan was such a great tour guide. We had a lot of fun, got some history, and ate great food. Best way to see the food stalls at night.

I love to discover some thai and chinese food that I would never had by myself

What a night in Bangkok following Jan ans the friend we made. Amazing experience of tasting in small shops seeing also how the thai cuisine is made. If you don’t like eating too spicy no worries the chef adapts the taste (still spicy fort certain dishes for me but i am a French beginner compared to our English and US master in that use). You walk also a lot so you can digest perfectly all the food ans so the discovery of the Chinese area and the mix with the Thai culture was a real +. Jan our guide shared with us the good basis of thai food that we may not habe discover in traditional restaurants alone. I will remember this night for a long Time ! The. + : the small card at the end to remember every dish of the tour to taste it again during our trip. To improve the tour we would add a possibility to discover also a more thai printed area of Bangkok to this tour. But we understand that Bangkok is not only a thai city so discover all its culture is also a way to visit the city.

Best food tour ever

I have done food tours all over the world and this one was by far the best! We went to the most unique places that there is NO WAY I could have gone to if not on a tour like this. Our tour guide Chantana was fantastic and pre-arranged vegan options for three vegans in our group. We were all SO full and had an amazing day!

This was our first time doing a Secret Food Tour and we loved the experience. Our guide Chantana (Jan) was very friendly and brought us to spots around Bangkok's Chinatown. She brought us to spots we would never find ourselves and by the end of the tour, we were stuffed full of savoury and sweet treats. We loved the evening

Phenomenal way to spend an evening in Bangkok!

Chantana gave us a wonderful exposure to Chinatown and the incredible culinary options available. We also got to see and learn about local culture and traditions along the way. A phenomenal (and delicious) way to learn more about Bangkok, the people, and the cuisine.

Eat Walk Eat

A unique way to experience China Town in the night. Jan brought us through some small alley to see the local way of life and taste some local food which we do not normally venture. My wife enjoy the experience of preparing Som Tam. Jan was helpful and knowledgeable in explaining the history and story of some of the site we visited. So it’s not just only food. Overall a great experience and too much food. Strongly recommended.

If you love food, take this

Anyone visiting Bangkok for the first time must go on this tour. You will learn the local food, see how locals live, walk thru alleys and visit secret restaurants. Private is good coz you will set your own pace. The guide speaks very good english and explains very well. All the food we stopped by for are all delicious. One was even a michelin star. Note it is humid in Bangkok, dress comfortably.

Jan was an awesome tour guide. She gave us a little history and a lot of food! This tour takes you through the Chinatown area of Bangkok to a few places you wouldn't find on your own and also some popular spots. Plenty of great food so come hungry.

Great food with a fab guide

We were the only ones that had booked and so,in essence,had a private tour with Alex. It was fantastic! Not only did we have a brilliant range of local food but Alex showed us the sights you wouldn’t normally see. I loved going into the Chinese Temple in Chinatown and walking down the little alleyways to see where and how the local people live. I would thoroughly recommend this tour - ask for Alex - he was awesome. Best advice - go hungry! 😊

Secret food tour bangkok

Such a good food tour at night time. I am solo traveller and was such a nice group. Jan our guide was brilliant and we tried lots of dishes. Was definitely full by end of it. Highly recommended.

Tour mit Chantana (unserem Guide) war wirklich super! Chantana ist auch so eine tolle Persönlichkeit!! Die Food-Spots richtig gut gewählt - es war von allem etwas dabei! Am Ende waren wir alle total satt gegessen - bedeutet die Portionen sind auf jeden Fall immer ausreichend! Einfach nur weiterzuempfehlen 👍🏼👍🏼
