A waste

This was unsatisfactory for us. The organising system was for other types of travellers that was not clear to us when we booked. It was not explained that businesses would be closed on Monday. However the tuk tuk ride was fun and the driver very kind and helpful. We left early as anything we were interested in was closed. It was a waste of money for us.

Great Tuk Tuk on/off tour with App!!

I dont write reviews normally but this company deserves it! Extremely good value for money! Had been looking for Tuk Tuk trips but most €100-300 with 4. We went with two children, Dutch family of 4 for €22,- The service was just perfect. The electric 6p Tuk Tuk picked us up at the hotel. Communication started with a W’app group they made incl a pincode for their app (only works on the day) which has all the 30 or so optional stops. At the first stop we got additional information about options. We wanted a short and relatively relaxed trip of 3 stops. Their advice was spot-on. The pick-up spot each time was the same as the drop-off. Five min before we wanted to leave each time, we entered our nextr trip in the app and they arrived each time. Works like the uber app. In the end they dropped us off at the hotel 🧡

Amazing hop on hop off service

Amazing service! Saves you from the hassle of looking for tuktuks/taxis. This is definitely a cheaper option if you are planning to go the the different tourist spots in Bangkok. Service was amazing, the tuktuk hop service team is always contacting us to get updates/feedback. Pincodes were sent on time. Drivers were nice and tuktuks were clean. Just one small issue is some drivers don’t know how the tuktuk hop pin works hence we needed to explain, but it worked eventually.

Our guide was so energetic and helpful. He explained everything in detail. The flower market and the visit to Wat Pho during the evening was great. I highly recommend this tour.

It was a quick and efficient service, with comfortable and all electric vehicles. Make sure to send a message 10 min before the next ride to be picked up on time. The team is very helpful and answers your queries quickly.

EXCELLENT and REASONABLE RATE for Pickup on Demand Service by TukTuk The support through whatsapp was excellent. On the day I redeemed I was told that the TukTuk Hop app is under maintenance and had to install MuvMi App. I installed and they gave a credit of 5000THB in that app. I used it for Old City tour in bangkok visiting GOld Mount, MRT station, Grand palace, Wat Pho and Wat Triamvir or Solid God Buddha temples - in one day between 11 Am and 5 PM for 2 people Except at one place the pickup was ready within 10 minutes Driver was polite. The support through Whatsapp was excellent There were couple of times when I was waiting at one point and driver was few meteres away. The support team shared the location of the driver or my whatsapp location to driver for pickup. EXCELLENT

Solid experience!

We used the service in Feb. 2023 and very happy with it. Our driver was on time for hotel pick up, which cost a few bucks extra, but was very convenient. The meeting points were easy to find and we never waited longer than 5-10 min for a Tuk Tuk to show up. The setup of the app was simple and the pre sent info worked well to set it all up. Important, you need a phone with a working cell phone connection for the service. Their What’s App chat was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions you might have. We will use it again next time we are here.

Difficult

Had to download an app to order a tuk tuk but every time I came out of the app, it shut me out of it so had to call to the office. Places we wanted to go to were out of the area it covered. The area was not explained beforehand so we could organise our route Accordingly. We gave up after 3 hours and returned to the hotel! Maybe good if you had a Thai phone, but didn’t work on a European one.

The best way to see old Bangkok

I did the 'hop on hop off' TUK TUK pre-COVID and wasn't sure if the service was still available 4 years on! It is! This experience still exists. A truly fantastic opportunity to see the sights of Bangkok. I had my mid-70s parents with me, and it worked out perfectly. They LOVED IT! No matter what age you are - I highly suggest you book with this company. China is full of people selling trips, tours, tuk tuk drivers and the like. With this activity - there is no haggling with tuk-tuk drivers, no haggling with taxis - this company is awesome. Although the Tuk Tuk Hop App doesn't work currently, the organisers use What's App and/Line to ensure you can still enjoy your time. Get picked up at point A, get dropped off at point B. The new electric tuk-tuk can squeeze 5/6 people in or you can get in the traditional tuk tuk which seats 3. With more guests, the company can get back to full capacity with tourists. I live here in Bangkok and i will do this tour again. For sure!

Tuk Tuk experience Bangkok

Wonderful to move around in the Tuk Tuk but it needs refinement of the route. We had to wait a long time for drivers which meant fewer stops and thus wasted an ENORMOUS amount of our wallet. But it is an enjoyable way to get around .

Family of 4 loves riding electric tuk tuks

We had an excellent time as a family of 4! Love that the Tuk Tuks are electric and roomy. Easy to get in and out. The one thing we didn't know the first time was that they will send a licence plate number each time you schedule a new ride. We asked a random tuk tuk if they were there for us (of course he said yes) but he wasn't with this company at all! Make sure you wait for the licence plate number. They were so responsive over Whatsapp and gave us all the info we needed. Made sure we were picked up. We will be doing this again!

Just an app, no guide to the sites

It took us an hour to download the app and get the voucher for the wallet, apart from that the app worked well

They don’t come to you!

They never showed up! I’m a senior and was expecting them to pick me up at my hotel I waited for 2 hours No Show! I wouldn’t do this tour if I were you.

Excellent service, it will save you time and hassle sightseeing the old town of Bangkok

Don’t think about it, just book it. I’ve been to Thailand many times and this service will save you time and hassle. I managed to see 11 temples and China town in the time allocated. Note, Have your itinerary set as I did before hand. Once you have confirmed booking, they will contact you on WhatsApp and confirm date of tour, what you would like to see, confirm pick up time and If you are in the area, they is no extra charge for pick up from your hotel. Time of pick up was from 9am and last pick up before 6pm. All you have to do is message them where you are and where you want to go to next.. Note: last drop-off point is same place they pick up from and f not just tell them we’re you are at and they will send a pic of place to pic up for and taxi number. English messaging was , actually better than mine and I’m English 😆 Great service and will use again if needed..enjoy your experience with hop on / off Tuk Tuk Just make sure you can contact via WhatsApp or line before hand 🤚 hope this review helps.

Misleading information.

Booked and paid to be collected from hotel only to find the hotel was out of area. Therefore had to get a taxi to the pick up point. Refund? Expected a set itinerary and route, but discovered that we had to tell the driver where we wanted to go. Tricky as we were unsure and had hoped for guidance from the driver. Unfortunately we had trouble communicating but did get to our 1st location. We believed we had arranged a pick up time and place with him, however he did not turn up so we were forced to contact the company and he eventually arrived an hour and a half late. After speaking with someone at the office we decided not to continue with the tour. Thankfully it was agreed the driver would return us to our hotel.

The best way to hang out Bangkok old town

Stress free convenient transport in old town Bangkok!

An excellent service! So much better than walking or using traditional tuktuks to sightsee around old town. Quiet, roomy, clean, modern electric powered tuktuks seat up to 6 people. Easy to book rides with clear instructions on where to meet for pick up. Friendly staff fluent in English available by phone or text to answer any questions. Stop haggling with drivers and just hop on and ride!

Pick up from hotel and then a great way to see many Bangkok sights in one day. I liked to the idea of saying where I want to be taken to and then where to be picked up from to then go to the next place.

Fantastic organisation. Because of COVID they offer, me and my daughter, a private tour without charging. The tuktuk driver picked us up by our hotel and showed us all highlights. Nice way to see Bangok.

Best Tuk Tuk rides in town!

Fantastic service! Highly recommend this touring service to see the sights in the old town. Takes the hassle out of having to get from one location to the next. Amazing value, pays for itself after 2-3 Tuk Tuk rides. Very trustworthy, professional drivers. The app booking system wasn't working so we requested rides through Line and they responded immediately. Waited no more than 15 minutes to be picked up. Would absolutely use this company again to hit more of the attractions! There were so many offered that we couldn't possibly see them all!

Bangkok in a day

We only had one day in Bangkok. It was so easy and fun doing it with the Tuk Tuk Hop on Hop off. We had one for ourselves for a group of 4 people. Our driver was just amazing, flexible and really helpful. Communication with the organizers was via WhatsApp, super nice. 👌

New experience with Tuk Tuk

I live in Bangkok. I selfdom uses Tuk Tuk for any reason. And my new year mission to visit nine temples to make merit and worship Buddha image. Tuk hob is a new service that I heard about it. It was one of the best choices for a helper to take me to all places on my lists, without a concern parking lot. It's about 5-10 minutes waiting for pick up. Together with the comfortable design of Tuk Tuk, a polite and helpful driver. That can help smooth my plan. The service covers Rattanakosin island and China Town. So I completed my mission with a nice dinner there.

Fantastic Experience

We were a family group of 6 (age range early 60’s to grandchild age 5) so we had 2 Tuk Tuks. This is an excellent, hassle-free way to see the sights. We arranged hotel pick up, which worked really well. The service provided was excellent. Staff were very polite and friendly. We only had one full day in Bangkok so this was a quick way of getting around, tailored to our individual sightseeing requirements. Can highly recommend.

Great way to see the city. These guys are in a league of there own when it comes to handling the traffic. The roads are very rough and the tut can be a bit of a bone shaker sit well back and enjoy the journey

TukTuk hop on/off

What a great way to see all the must see sights in Bangkok when you have a short stay in Bangkok included the pick up/drop off option after which you set the pace. When you have finished seeing 1 site you use the app to book your next destination. Just 1 point make sure you come out of the right exit some of the sites have multi exits but you can use Google maps to find where you should be. Great day out.😁😁

Fantastic day out

This was a really easy and enjoyable way to enjoy the city. All the drivers who collected us were professional and quick to reach us at each point and it was easy to use the app. In fact the app was really helpful as it gave us ideas as to where to visit next. We ended up using the same driver quite a few times which was nice for us as it felt like a private tour. For the price I would absolutely recommend again! A really good value day out.

Over priced

All in all riding a tuk tuk as an experience in Bangkok is quite a fun thing. However, in terms of cost it was a complete waste of money. The distances between the various attractions are walkable, and the overall cost of this trip was way more that what we would have paid, even if we didn’t haggle. Take a grab taxi to the old city (maximum THB200) and then pick up a tuk tuk if you want one. With all the above, the operators are very kind and professional. The app works well, and the service is good. The only thing was the fact that it should actually not cost so much.

Tuk Tuk experiences

A great idea which worked well. You need a Thai sim in your smartphone for location services to work although you can book with a tracking device thrown in.Took a little while to figure out exactly how it worked and you need to book for a couple of days to even begin to see everything. Good fun and well recommended. They also picked us up directly from our hotel which was a little way away.

Great experience

Great way to see all the attractions fairly quickly. Once you are familiar with how the app works it’s good fun. You get to see places that perhaps you wouldn’t see along the way getting from one place to another. Still get stuck in traffic but our driver was superb at getting through. A fab way to get round & very cheap, would recommend.

Hassle free, easy to use, and so affordable!

I signed up for a hotel pick up/drop off with pocket wifi. I very quickly got communication from Tuk Tuk Hop to explain how the day worked. They drove me to their offices and showed me the app and how to use it. There are over 50 stops to choose from, and they can recommend where to go too. I wanted to explore the temples so was talked through the best options. They use WhatsApp to get in touch and are very very fast responding. You logon the app and say where you are going from/to. They send you the license plate of the tuk tuk driver and expected time and you can see where they are on a map too- very like Uber. They also give you a paper map- which is a good guide, but doesn’t have all the stops. There’s GPS to take you to the right place for pick up and photos to guide you too. You can’t go wrong! I had a point where the app wasn’t working, so I sent a WhatsApp and the driver was sent to me. The next time I used the app it was back working again. The drivers are polite, reliable and point you in the right directions. As a lone woman travelling, I felt really safe. I also thought it was incredibly stress free and very affordable. I would def do this again. If in doubt, please do this! The ratings weren’t that high which put me off a bit, but I’m so glad I went for it! The pocket Wi-fi was great and ensured I didn’t rack up high data charges from the UK! At 5pm, it was time to go back to the hotel and I felt I had a great day. Thanks Tuk Tuk Hop!

A great flexible & economical way to see Bangkok - you need A cellphone w/data

While in town for a short visit this was a fun and effective way to see the key sights. Here are a few tips. I added hotel pick up and drop off, a good idea. (Fewer people here speak English than in Vietnam, and the different alphabet made navigating on my own harder than expected- this was easy). I was picked up and taken to the HOHO office, where a helpful woman explained the process and got me started. You get a map and an app (the map provides an overview the app is more complete) Take a moment and using the app, not just the map, figure out which stops you want to visit. When you finish each spot you use the app to schedule your next ride. I never waited more than a few minutes and one driver took me to three stops in a row. Watch for your Tuk-Tuk license plate and jump in. The driver has your name to verify you have the right vehicle (some but not all have a HOHO sign on the top) Pay attention where you got off and go back to the same spot. Zebra stripe apparently means cross walk. Tips - Use the app to see all of your options. For example, I mistakenly relied on the map. I went to China Town and walked to and from the Grand China Hotel (visited the 360 revolving bar/restaurant on the top) not realizing the Grand China Hotel was a stop option. It was clear on the app but not labeled on map. When you are ready to go back to your hotel text the office and they will tell you which site to pick to schedule your last stop and they will inform the driver to take you to your hotel. The office is always available by text and phone if you have any questions. This was perfect for me, I could spend as much or as little time as I wanted at each stop. At $30 for all day with hotel connections it was a bargain. Remember this is a big city and it takes time to get from place to start early and plan your route wisely.

A unique and fun way to explore Bangkok. The tuktuk drivers were reliable. It's a great way to experience riding the iconic tuktuk, without the fear of being scammed. Would definitely recommend it.

Best idea ever!

This was one of the best things we did on our trip! All cities should do something like this with various modes of transport. It was so easy! Having the wifi device helped so much- the app is so easy to use- pick up was quick and easy with the tuk tuks. Hotel pick up and drop off was great a well- definitely recommend!

Great App and Servuce

Literally just finished my last trip Of the day using this app. It’s fantastic. Think if it as a daily uber for Tuk Tuks in Bangkok. You sign up , download the app and enter your code on the day you purchased and you get unlimited rides around the tourist destinations. They will even pick you up at your hotel and drop you for a minimal charge and it’s really inexpensive and super reliable no haggling you enter where you are and where you’re going and literally a Tuk Tuk pulls up. The staff is super responsive and they will even rent you a WiFi transponder for peanuts. I wish this service was in every city in Asia.

Great way to see Bangkoks tourist attractions!

I can highly recommend this service from the great experience we had. Once booked Pim contacted us via TripAdvisor and provided us with all the details we needed. They even contacted us a few days before our trip to warn us that there was an event going on in Bangkok and offered to reschedule. On the day they contacted us via WhatsApp so we could have gotten any help if needed. They have an awesome app that you can use to plan your trip around Bangkok, and calling and using the Tuk-Tuk is as easy as can be. The app provides information of all the attractions, as well as pricing for those that require a ticket. Riding the Tuk-Tuk provides more opportunities to see Bangkok as you navigate to the different attractions. We took the option to have a Wifi dongle as well so that we could use data during the experience and it worked perfectly.
