Canal Ride Review

It was a nice canal ride, learned quite a few things about Thailand given our first day here! The artist house was such a great place with nice calming vibes.

The views were amazing. I loved the trip. The Buddha statue was larger than I expected. The tour guide was amazing as well.

Wonderful canal tour

Absolutely wonderful tour. The boat ride alone was fantastic. But the temple and the artist’s house really put it over the top. Plus Joyce was a wonderful tour guide, kind and helpful at all times. 4:30pm was a perfect time, too. Would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Amazing!! Must do

Was very fun and interesting!! Saw the backs of Bangkok by river, the famous big Buddha, fed the fish and stopped at the artist cafe (which was amazing!) Joyce our guide was lovely and arrived with water for us, fanned us on the boat and even gave us umbrellas when it started to rain on the way back!

So fun!

Joyce was so nice and a great guide. We had so much fun. Even though it rained we were given umbrellas and it didn’t ruin the trip at all. Was so cool to get off the boat and feed the fish and make bracelets. Learnt a lot about the city and would really recommend!

Must do in Bangkok

A different way of exploring Bangkok.

It was a very hot day so this boat tour made the day a bit bearable. It was nice visiting the water village and learning about their way of living. Wat Paknam is beautiful. Joe our tour guide was great.

Authentic side of Bangkok

Going through the canals in the long boat was great you could really see the authenticity of the city and you see a very different side of it.

The perfect way to see the city

An excellent trip. A really good way to explore Bangkok, no traffic to worry about. I would argue it’s the best way to see the city especially if you don’t have much time.

2 hour boat tour

It was a great experience. Thanks to our guide Joyce we learned a lot about neighbourhoods and tempels within them. I would definitely go again.

Great trip to see old Bangkok

Joyce was a great tour guide. Fascinating boat ride down smaller canals past a variety of houses and temples. Very informative about the giant Buddha temple. Great tour!

It was a nice tour, Joyce is really nice and was on time. We went to a place where you can paint and make your own bracelet if you wish

Good your

It was a very hot day and it was pretty pleasant to be on the water. The tour was well organised and we had no trouble finding the meeting place. We're older travellers but even so, getting in and out of the boat wasn't too difficult. The two hours were just about the right amount of time.

Magic along Bangkok canal

Absolutely my favorite part of our trip to Bangkok. Our guide, Joyce was very knowledgeable and not only showed us the canal in a long boat, but stopped at the giant golden Buddha and the market. My kids loved feeding the fish cheesies. Great value for money.

The canal tour

Joyce was an amazing tour guide and gave great explanations during trip. He was also very nice and gave us a lot of valuable information!

Booked on line the day before our trip, easy to book and very straightforward meeting location instructions and how to get there on the booking confirmation. This was a worry as we where travelling across the city via Sky Train and Underground. However everything was fine and the adventure added to the day. The trip set off on time and a very enthusiastic guide led us to the canal and boat. A great couple of hours, good stop offs, informative and enough time at each location to study and wander. I would absolutely recommend this trip, get yourself to The Elephant Cafe early and order yourself a coffee. Well done to the team who deliver this day. Thanks for a great memory.

Superb tour well worth it

Our tour hoist Joyce was very knowledgeable and excellent all round. He answered all our questions fully and told us things we didn’t even know we wanted to know (lol) He was genuine and helpful. The boat driver and his companion were also great/ They all helped us on and off the boat and were genuinely concerned for us to have a great time. From booking online to the whole tour we had clear instructions. Meeting point was on time and clearly stated. Would highly recommend Price is also good

Nice, relaxing boat trip

Joyce was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and good English. We passed by the Big Buddha and visited the Artists House where we fed the fish. This tour was nice, relaxing and well worth the money.

Fun boat ride through the old capital

Siri was great! The boat ride was really fun and comfortable and we had a lot of fun learning about the history of the old capital. 10/10 would definitely go again.

Mr. Joyce was very good with his knowledge, very friendly and polite with his approach. We got to know a lot about the thai culture in return we shared our indian culture. Great trip, boring shop though

Tour guide was great. We had Joyce. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. It was raining on our tour but it was honestly nice since the boat was covered and it was cooler. We saw the giant boudha and the ride was a blast! We stopped at an "art market" for 30 min though when 5 min would have been plenty. So we just waited. Spent more time there then at the temple. Perhaps it was because of the rain. So 75% was great!

Mr Dominic, The tour guide was Extremely good. He showed us the exact spot, explaining the importance of all the tourist spot and answered tourist questions, very patiently. He is very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend Long tail boat to canal in Bangkok.

Value for money

Value for money, however The exact location is outside Elefin coffee where the guide meets. The big Buddha is the highlight of this tour. Artist’s house is amazing.

Great tour to experience Bangkok. Great scenic stops & Joe was a great tour guide. Would recommend to do this tour later in the day to avoid extreme heat

Go see the big Buddha

Getting to see the big Buddha up close was great and stopped on the canal for at a small market. The canal water level was quite low so some of the viewing along the journey was not a great sight mucky high walls.

Amazing canal boat tour experience

Kitty was an amazing canal boat tour guide! She was really knowledgeable about the area and explained everything so well. She was really fun and showed us so many different things throughout the canal.

Magical experience!

This was amazing! Such an experience flying down the canal in the shaky boat. There were enormous monitor lizards and fascinating buildings to look at the whole way. Each of the stops was fascinating and fun! The temple with the big Buddha was enormous and beautiful. Our guide, Joe, was hilarious and extremely helpful. We all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

A great tour to fill in the time

The guide was great, this tour also took us to a monk temple with an enormous golden Buddha, I also glad that we booked the early morning tour due to the extreme heat. Top marks for the guide in looking after us.

Did the river boat cruise to the big Buddha and the Artist’s House. Joyce was fantastic and answers all of our questions. Good to do earlier in the day before it gets too hot.
