After a less than desirable experience on Bangkok Airways which caused me to not only have a late flight arrival but also had to get with baggage claim to track down missing luggage( which fortunately was quickly tracked and delivered!!- no thanks to Bangkok air), the driver made my evening by staying until I was settled. Thank you Viator as usual. He even got me to my hotel reasonably quickly given it can be upwards of an hour away.

Easy to book. Prompt response to confirm booking. Good communication with detailed meeting point instructions provided. Driver was on time and polite. So glad we pre booked our airport transfers as Bangkok airport is super busy and it was such a relief to see my name at the meeting point and a lovely lady to greet us and help us navigate our way to the driver. Very friendly and helpful. My name was clearly shown on the pick up area. I didn't need to show any ID. It was a clean and comfortable car. Good driver.

Perfect for Solo Traveler

After an exhausting flight, I found the rep by gate 6 where the directions in my confirmation email had told me to go. They had a large sign with my name and were very helpful with my bags as I was led to the private driver. I felt taken care of and comfortable which is exactly what I wanted and needed as a solo female traveler in a new country/place. Would highly recommend if you want to easily to get to your hotel after long and tiring traveling!

Generally good, but interesting

At the airport for departure, our driver got into an argument with another driver. Rather awkward. We also had to call on arrival to figure out where to meet our people. Beyond that, everything else was fine.

Airport transfer

Customer service representative was waiting for me in the arrival area, she took me straight to the car then off I went, no stress at all, the car was clean, good service.

Excellent meet and greet at the pre-designated meeting spot, safe driver, all up a good experience.

Our meet and greet lady was at the pre-determined spot to greet us with my surname clearly displayed on a white board. The lovely lady, I think that her name was Dam, spoke good english and offered to wheel our trolley loaded with our suitcases. She took us to the waiting van and allowed us a quick 5 minute opportunity to have a cigarette after our 9 hour flight. The service exceeded our expectations, the van driver informed us that he did not speak english so we enjoyed the views of the Rama IX freeway. The van driver delivered us to our hotel with no problems, I think that he may have expected a tip however we didn't have any Thai baht with us, only AUD$50 notes as the exchange rates at the money changers at the airport did not have competitive exchange rates.

Excellent transport service from BKK

Our pickup at BKK airport was as simple and easy as could be. An attendant was waiting right outside Customs with my name on a board, we were immediately walked to the driver, and on our way to our hotel quickly. The driver was friendly, safe, and took the fastest route available due to traffic. Agency had also been very good about communicating and reminding me of plans for the return trip to BKK.

Service were very good, and on time to pick us up from Airport. The Lady who came to the Airport was very courteous and helpful.

Easy to find "guide", however, it was hard to understand their English. So it made the process take alittle bit longer, but they were very kind and helped get us to our destination. The ride to the hotel was smooth and easy, no issues.

Efficient, Communicative Car Service

I was very pleasantly surprised with this service! As a solo female traveler arriving at midnight, I wanted to make sure I had car service set up in advance. The company messaged me in advance to understand my round-trip itinerary. They were on-time and present. Upon arrival to Bangkok, they confirmed my departure date, time, and location. The day before departure, the company again confirmed via email and called the hotel and left a message that was relayed to us. Communication was great! Cars were clean and water was provided. Highly recommend!

Easy airport transfer (BKK)

So glad I booked this transfer, at the end of over 20 hours of flights, it was wonderful not to have to worry about how I was getting to the hotel. Smooth experience, host was there to greet me after I retrieved my luggage, quickly escorted me to the vehicle and I was politely introduced to my driver. Vehicle was spotless, transit was quick and stress-free.

What you need after a 30 h flight

Finding them was easy. The driver did everything to get me safe and comfortable to my destination although he didn’t speak English.

Avoid… just take a taxi from airport

Driver did not show up. I contacted the operator for instructions on where to meet and how to locate them and no one replied. They are refusing to refund my money as well so I am forced to pay for a service that I did not receive. I would avoid and just take a taxi from the airport. Taxis there are much more reliable and easy to find.

Terrible, inflexible and over-priced!!

I would not recommend this service at all. Over-priced completely. My flight was delayed and I was transferred through another country. I contacted the company and they said the driver was on standby and so they didn’t move the pick up and still charged me!!! I ended up getting a taxi from the airport which was so easy and a quarter of the price. Don’t use this service just get a cab. It’s easy and 25% of the cost. This was an inflexible and totally overpriced service and I would never ever use again.

Nobody to meet us.....

Booked through viator but message did not reach local reps. Travel east rep worked very hard to get us a transfer as quickly as possible but if I had been waiting at pillar 6 for my name to appear on a sign, we would still be there. Sorry Viator. Other experiences have been good but not this one.

Very good and punctual, plus excellent temple trip

We got picked up from Bangkok airport, met and quickly on our way in the car. The tours east rep rode with us and gave us an insight into Bangkok. On time for the return trip to the airport, all went smoothly. We also took a temple tour while n Bangkok, this was excellent. We had a great guide in Pearl and she taught us so much about Bangkok its history. She also explained about Buddism and explianed our Buddha days based on our day of the week birth Would recommend tours east

Great Service

Met us at the arrival exit and waited about five minutes for our driver to meet us and take us to destination. Driver was excellent. Overall good experience and will use again for late night arrivals

Very expensive

On the return I took a taxi for 1/4th of the price. The gentleman that drove was fine and had no trouble getting to my hotel.

No better than a taxi

I was first off plane and got into my car AFTER people who were last off plane got into their hotel shuttle bus. Driver sullen, not friendly. Long wait at airport for dispatcher to coordinate with drivers.

The company took very good care of us and our multiple pieces of luggage, including an oversized and very heavy Pelican case.

Great welcome belied a terrible journey

Our arrival started off perfectly with someone waiting in the arrivals hall who whisked us off to a car. However, that was the end of the pleasantness. Expecting a limo and a nice cold bottle of water? Not on this occasion - just a plain old taxi cab with no A/C, and it was 33oC outside. The driver did not speak English so no excuses or justifications, just heat! Seriously, not cooll (literally). The company contacted me the following day at my hotel expecting new bookings and, on hearing my comments, simply said they would pass it on to head office. Horrible experience was made worse when we heard our friends took a regular taxi with full A/C for half the price. Do what they did, seriously......

what a joke this company is!!

We arrived into bangkok and we walked to the meeting point and no guide was waiting so we called the number on our voucher and this number was not picked up, it was the emergency. We tried to call again and 20 min later the guide turned up and did not have our car ready. She called the office who said we have to wait 40 minutes!! 5 minutes later another Tour East guide came over and said sorry but the company "was taken over by the Japanese and they made staff redundant and many people left".This was not my problem and after 9 hours inflight so we decided to catch a taxi and not wait. We emailed wotif.com to complain who refunded our money. We will never use this company again. A total mess.

Could not have been easier

Concerned about making our way to our hotel, we booked in advance a private driver from the airport. Instructions on where to meet after clearing customs were easy to follow and we found gentleman wit our name displayed exactly where described in instructions. We were driven to our hotel in a lovely air conditioned vehicle with no stress.

Transport to hotel

It was so pleasing to be immediately identified by Tour East sign with our names when exiting the doors at Phuket airport. We were then shown to a private car transfer after such a long 2 flight trip from Australia. It was late at night, the car was cool and comfortable it was a great start to our holiday getting to the hotel in the early hours of the morning.

Once we arrived, the guy from Tour East waiting the left side gate 1. Then he brought our bags to the private car downstairs. Dont underestimate bangkok traffic,better book transfer car than taxi meter.

ARRIVING

Needless to say, we were exhausted by the time we had arrived frim a flight originating in New York; however our driver was there with my name on a placard! It was painless, I must say! He immediately led us to his car, which was clean and in good condition. He was pleasant and efficient. He was the best!

Never showed up

My driver never showed up. Save your money, Taxi is like 6-7 bucks and the price of this ride was almost 60 bucks.

Driver was NEVER found!!!!

We could never find our driver that was ordered by this service. We even had 2 thai speaking relatives with us that asked many airport personal on where to find drivers. Went to all transportation gates and saw signs for every other service with names and ID. Never found ours after one hour of searching so finally took an airport taxi. We NEVER got a message or email on the location of where to meet the driver which was very disappointing. I would NOT book this service again and would just use the taxi services at the Airport. Even with a big family (6 total) BKK airport had plenty of taxi vans to take us to hotel late at night.

Private Transfer from Airport

These guys were great. There are a couple of meeting places which we were guided to by airport staff and they were waiting for us. Car was clean, airconditioned and safe driving. Yes, it's probably more expensive but after a long flight in economy it was great not to have to hassle with a taxi.
