Totally waist of time and money

Poor logistics regarding elevators. 3 different lifts to get all the way up. The drinks poorly made. We took the most expensive buffet with outside seating 2000 Baht/p. The food totally disgusting. Service totally ignorant. Our medium-rare steak was served raw. Red wine was served to those who drank white wine. Tasteless frozen shrimp. Shark fin soup tasted like fish with water. Everything totally tasteless and unprofessional.

Very good value for money

View of Bangkok at night from 77th & 84th floor was fantastic and unique. A lot of food to select from too, not always top quality but no one will step out hungry. Excellent service and organization.

Satisfied

Food was excellent as always. Glad that the 82nd floor had a greeting service(sing+cake) for those celebrating their birthday. The observatory was so scenic!

Stunning views and great buffet

We first went to the observation deck before going to the buffet. We took stunning photos and there was various props that you could use for your photos. The buffet was amazing and well worth it. We paid 1000 baht for both observation deck and the buffet. Seafood, pizza, salmon, cakes, ice cream, fish just to name a few. It was very busy so would advise to go early

Thai food let down 😞

Grilled pork & chicken wings were good. The duck, papaya salad (with no peanuts or dried prawns!) in Thailand too!!! & Duran & coconut sticky rice a let down, I’ve had duck 3 times in the last 3 weeks in Bangkok, easily the worst, sorry, very disappointing as Thailand has a great reputation for fantastic food.

Breathtaking dining in the sky

It is one experience to try while visiting the city of Bangkok. The restaurant has various kinds of food options to try from, but still not a good value for money. The money paid is for the experience dining at the height. It is an experience which is better enjoyed with a group or as a couple. The food included Thai food along with pizzas and sushi. There were many desserts to try from including ice cream presented in a cup. After dining, the 84th floor revolving point is accessible to get the entire view of the city from that height. The revolving point has a slow moving platform which helps enjoy the view in all directions.

Visited 5 times

From the UK and have visited the Baiyoke 5 times. I have laughed at some of the other reviews such as difficult to navigate as in the lift. Frankly, if you leave a.3 star review as you are unable to navigate a lift simply going up and down it’s best to stay at home .. . I am going to provide a balanced review.. We have visited the baiyoke 5 times on the 5 times we have come to Thailand . The views are spectacular due to this being highest building in Thailand. Well worth visiting just for this. The food is plentiful and varied choice . Well worth the money . It is clean with attentive staff who are so polite and helpful. Cannot fault the place and I am trying to think of something negative just to give balance to the review and I can’t think of anything . Lovely experience and I would highly recommend .

A Bangkok dining delight

myself & my Girlfriend enjoy a meal at the Crystal Grill @ the Baiyoke tower the ticket we had also included a free drink and entrance to the revolving tower , they had numerous selections of Meats & Vegetables also sea foods and many Desserts i was pleasantly surprised & rather delighted Excellent dining experience indeed

Stressful, confused, angry, frustrated

Confusing to navigate through. You literally have to take 3 different elevators all in different areas to get to the top, the staff were very overwhelmed and didn’t have time to really help us. The 81st floor buffet was very small and hard to walk around as they squeezed so many people in. The food was decent but no views as you had to pay extra to sit outside at the balcony. They charge you for water and no vegetarian options. Not worth the price at all. The only cool thing is the revolving rooftop view. I recommend just going and paying for that, but skip the food and buffet.

Delightful

Fabulous view of Bangkok city from Baiyoke Sky hotel revolving observation deck and we also enjoyed the delicious buffet dinner 👍👍

Food was really good and price per person is very worth it!

One of the best options when you travel in Bangkok. Food so excellent and so much choice for dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. Staff sang to my boyfriend Happy birthday song, was so nice. After dinner we went to the observation lounge which was included and fantastic views from here.

Bad customer service.

When they notified me and told me Floor 78 under renovation. My understanding that’s not safe for me to visit. Now they refused to refund my money. Bad customer service.

Viator sells this tour as "Lunch/Dinner @ Baiyoke Sky Hotel Included Observation Deck" Instead of dinner you only get a drink in the bar, there is no food. The tour description does not match to the reality, for me therefore a disappointing result.

Great experience!!

Me and my family had a great time in Baiyoke Sky Hotel, there were lots of variety of food selections!!! Seafood, fine dining options, you named it!!! The price is not too bad!!

Must try when in Bangkok, the food is delicious!

A very good experience. We had an amazing view from the top and I like the 360 revolving roof deck view, watching the whole of bangkok. The food was overwhelming from the appetizer to the desserts, the seafoods and the drinks. Would surely recommend to my friends. 5 Star!

Lunch at Baiyoke Hotel (77)

Had to put what flor, because there are different restaurants on different floors. The croods were huge but moved suprisingly fast. I was under the impression the floor rotated while we eat. I was wrong. You have to go up another floor to get that. We did have to go up some stairs to get to the buffet. They had tables next to the windows and food on the inside. I went on a hot day and thought I was lucky to get a seat next to the window. Figured I would sit there and have pictures of the city. Again, it was a hot day, so I was really hot sitting there eating. So to me it was too hot, but you can see why. I quickly found out, we were not moving. Big disappointment, had to go visit other lucky people by the window to get pictures of the city. As for the food. It's an Asian buffet. I was excited to have ice cream, but the machine was broke. I filled my cone with goo. Then I looked closer and see it's been that way. The French frys looked good, and they might have been several hours prior. I didnt enjoy my meal, but most of the group I was with did have a good lunch. I was in an Asian group. The number of people going in and out to eat, must speak well of the food. Again, dont be put back by the number of people. They move fast.

Go for the view, not the food ...

The views are amazing. The food was buffet style and a variety, but very typical of middle quality buffets. Alcoholic drinks were purchased separately. There is some confusion upon entrance to the building as there are several restaurants and they are on different floors. It does involve some walking on stairs.

Bad experience

Terrible experience, food was cold, bad customer service, place looked dirty and smelled. We were in and out in 15 minutes after trying couple of plates, I took my husband there for his birthday and we got dressed up nice thinking was a nice rooftop restaurant but it was just like a regular Chinese buffet and we paid supposedly for an international seafood buffet. Very disappointed

Hangover dinner

Good food and good cocktails, great to have a drink on the Hangover patio and enjoy the views, fun evening with fun people around.

not as exciting as I thought

I bought a buffet dinner on 82nd floor with entry to the observation deck. The decor was very tired and it was too hot inside. The choice of food was however really good and not only from the Asian cuisine. I suggest a dinner on 81st floor which offers amazing views while sitting outside. After dinner we could access the observation deck on the 83rd and 84th floor. Taking photos by night can be tricky due to the flashing coca cola sign.

sehr schlechtes Essen, Personal überfordert, Touristenfalle... Nein danke. Ganzer Stock stinkt nach dem Geill, schlechte Lüftung.

Wasn't bad at all - recommended!

On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, 3 of us ate at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel on the 78th floor. We started at 7:15 p.m. Our assigned seat was not right by the window. But it was still OK. We would not have imagined the variety of different dishes from fish, shrimp, steak, pizza and much more. A pleasant salad buffet with various dressings, broccoli gratin and even a very tasty mashed potato - everything was there. And fries too, of course. The food was all freshly prepared and hot. Drinks such as Coke or various Thai beers have to be paid for separately. And unfortunately they are not CHEAP!! All of the staff were friendly and courteous. And helpful. The whole thing lasts 2 hours. Then it's over. Don't be put off by the seemingly huge number of people waiting to get in. Everyone really gets full if they want to. We paid 950 Baht - about 25 euros per person. The order was placed via the app. then the waiting time at the elevators is not so long. Conclusion: Despite the many guests, we felt quite comfortable up there and left the tower more than full. The price-performance ratio is OK. We can recommend it and will do it again on our next trip to Bangkok.

Very good food and cool view

If you come early, make sure you get a seat right by the window. The waiters will try to get you a table in the middle first. But that doesn't really give you a view while you eat...

Restaurant

Disappointed with the restaurant, large canteen, lots of people and noise. The view after the restaurant impressive. Personally I don't recommend the restaurant.

Great view and lots to do. Restaurant atmosphere not as nice as expected.

A good starting point for the start of your Bangkok trip, as you can get an idea of the size of the metropolis from up there. It's especially great when you can admire the sunset from there and see the city immersed in a sea of lights. We had specifically stuck to the dress code. We could have saved ourselves the trouble. The other guests had apparently not heard of it and some of them came in flip-flops. The food from the buffet was great. Alcoholic drinks have to be paid for separately. The atmosphere in the restaurant on the 76th floor was more like a canteen and everything was pretty dirty. After the buffet you have the opportunity to visit the upper floors with a number of attractions. Our child thought it was great. The sky bar on the 83rd floor is also really nice and you can enjoy cocktails at affordable prices. The rotating observation deck is on the 84th floor. Overall we liked it, even if the actual dinner was a bit disappointing.

Poco recomendable la cena.

Si querés comer hasta reventar, es recomendable. La comida es de calidad media a baja. Es autoservicio, buffet. El lugar es sucio, se dificulta ver el paisaje desde los vidrios manchados. El observation deck es bueno porque gira, pero parece una cárcel.

Marcamos jantar “ supostamente para o exterior “ e na realidade a marcação içou num peço sem declarar exterior . Acabamos por nem jantar e abandonar o edifício. Sentimos que fomos enganados e roubados pois disseram que teríamos de reclamar junto da Viator. Portanto pagamos 144€ para nada. Vergonhoso

A way of looking at it

Er worden diverse arrangementen aangeboden, variërend van ongeveer 1000bath tot 4000. Als je kiest voor 1000, dan krijg je het zogenaamde steak en fish arrangement. Laat je niet vertellen dat je een tafel aan het raam krijgt want je wordt random ingedeeld. Eten gaat in twee shifts en redelijk massaal met dikke rijen. Eenmaal boven kom je in een atmosfeer die door een gemiddelde bedrijfskantine wordt overtroffen. Plastic stoelen en kille omgeving. Het buffet heeft niet veel speciaals en Thai moeten zeker niet proberen westerse gerechten te imiteren. Ondanks dat het eten zeer zeer matig is vallen de bezoekers aan op het buffet alsof het hun laatste maal is. Na het eten kun je naar het observatorium. Een ronddraaiend balkon. Ronduit prachtig uitzicht en heel fascinerend. Ook leuk zijn de diverse selfie spots die zijn gemaakt in de gang. We hebben ons daar prima geamuseerd. Dus eindconclusie: we hebben een prachtig onvergetelijk uitzicht gehad en nog wat gegeten ook. It’s how you look at it…

Klasse Aussicht

Der Tower bietet einen tollen Blick auf Bangkok, besonders toll ist die drehbare Plattform oben, auch die Cocktailbar war nett. Wir waren zudem beim Dining im Sky Restaurant, was für uns aber eher eine Massenabfertigung war. Man sitzt auf Plastikstühlen und der Boden hat überall geklebt, wohl noch vom Essen vorher... Das Essen selbst ist sehr gut gewesen und es gab auch viel Auswahl. Würde man hier noch etwas an der Ausstattung machen und nach dem Essen durchwischen würde es volle Punkte geben. Ansonsten zu empfehlen, allein die Aussicht ist klasse.

Hoch hinaus !

Wichtig ist, das es dort verschiedene( Restaurant: Sky, Balkony, Stella und Crystall Grill gibt ) Restaurants gibt, wir waren im Sky. Der Ablauf war gut durchorganisiert. Das Essen war wirklich gut und sehr unterschiedlich, es ist für jeden was dabei! Getränke, Kaffee, Nachtisch alles ok. Auch das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Leider ist die Atmosphäre dort eher wie in einer Kantine, sehr laut, mit Hallencharakter! Obwohl eigentlich alles gut war, wollten wir nur schnell weg, die Lautstärke hat alles verdorben. Der Ausblick in den oberen Stockwerken ist ganz toll und es lohnt sich auch ganz nach oben auf die drehende Plattform zu gehen. Insgesamt hätte ich gerne vorher gewusst, das es unterschiedliche Kategorien gibt. Der Veranstalter muss hier unbedingt genauer informieren, ich hätte gerne mehr bezahlt für ein schöneres Ambiente. Da ich die anderen Restaurants wie das Balcony, Stella oder Crystall Grill nicht gesehen habe, kann ich nichts darüber sagen.

Très mauvaise expérience, pas profiter du service sue j'ai payé, je me suis vu refusé l'entrée à ce restaurant pour cause de mauvaise réservation alors que j'avais bien réservé à l'avance via votre plate-forme, j'attends de voir si on le remboursera comme annoncé

Bijzonder...

Bijzonder mooi uitzicht over Bangkok door niet zo bijzonder schone ruiten. Tafeltjes waren bijzonder (plastic/goedkoop). Temperatuur was bijzonder (te) KOUD. Dit allemaal voor een bijzonder HOGE prijs. Eten was bijzonder onder gemiddeld (vlees taai, veel gerechten te koud, frietjes slap), zeker gezien de prijs die je er voor moet betalen...

Vers all you can eat buffet

Het restaurant serveert voornamelijk aziatisch. Met name veel vis, maar ook gewoon steak en sushi. Alles is schoon en fris. Het is een all you can eat buffet restaurant en de ideale plek om eens wat nieuws te proberen.
