Ayutthaya Romantic Day Trip

Lin (guide) and Kevin (driver) were amazing today. It was 40 degrees (104 F), and they made sure we had LOTS of water, and umbrella for shade, and had the AC high in the car. We had great food as well at a nice restaurant. Lin is extremely knowledgeable about Thai culture and is very passionate about her job. She is dedicated to making sure visitors have a wonderful experience, and finds vicarious happiness when they do. This excursion was part of our honeymoon, and it was romantic and special. We saw many temples today that were very beautiful, and Lin took photos of us the whole time so we can cherish these memories. Ayutthaya is worth the trip, and Lin is the best guide!

Bangkok temple experience

Lin and Kevin were amazing, They picked us up at our hotel in Bangkok and took us to multiple beautiful temples in the area. Lin is a wealth of knowledge and took photos of my wife and I throughout the whole experience. I would highly recommend booking a tour and or an experience with them. Lin is very good at what she does and was such a joy to be around, she really made the whole experience feel first class. Kevin is a great driver and even in the traffic made us feel safe. They provided water the entire time and being that it was 104 out that was necessary!

Amazing Private Tour!

What a wonderful experience we had as a family with two children (7&3) on this private tour to Ayutthaya and the temples. We were picked up very promptly by our fantastic and super friendly guide Lin at our hotel. During our bus ride out to Ayutthaya our guide Lin shared with us the history of where we were going and of Thailand in general which was very interesting. She kindly answered any questions we had too. Throughout the day we visited a range of temples where further information was shared and lots of photographs were taken. We never felt rushed at any site, allowing us to spend as much or as little time as we wanted. She was particularly attentive to ensure that we were all okay, particularly our young children who adored her. The weather came in when we were due to have the boat tour and she suggested a dinner stop instead. She had ordered ahead and on arrival dinner was served. After dinner, she managed to organise a boat tour where the children were able to feed the fish in the river - which they thought was fantastic. An excellent day trip with many memories and so many photographs taken. Thank you Lin once again. We would highly recommend this trip.

Very good place to visit

Ayutthaya is amazing and this tour covers all of the main sites. Our driver was great and our tour guide was helpful. Lunch was ok. Sunset boat trip did not take place at sunset. Worth visiting but more information about the sites sould have been very helpful.

Great experience - good balance of fun and facts

Pui was a wonderful guide and the whole experience was delightful and well paced. Recommended. The boat trip was relaxing and when we arrived at the endpoint we got a bonus of a Thai music festival and food fair :)

Lovely way to see Ayutthaya!

We had a lovely day with Pop looking around the temples. Lunch was delicious - we were taken to a lovely local restaurant and able to select food and drink from the menu. The boat ride was also a lovely experience, and a nice, relaxed way to end the tour before our car ride back to Bangkok. Thank you for a lovely day!

Amazing Ayutthaya Trip

From the start our private tour to Ayutthaya was brilliant. Our guide was great at confirming collection times a few days ahead of our trip taking place and was very punctual. After settling ourselves in a very comfortable mini van with introductions all round, we headed out of the city to Ayutthaya. Along the way, she shared historical information about where we were going and happily answered any further questions we may had. However, she also gave us time to just relax and enjoy the ride there. During the trip, we were kept informed of where we were, what we were seeing and there were constant wellbeing checks regarding loo stops or if we needed a drink and ensuring we were able to stay in shade to minimise the intense heat of the day. She was great with our two young children too, helping them to spot things and give them interesting facts. The weather changed for the worse and it looked like we would not be able to enjoy the sunset boat ride to the final temple, however, after amending the schedule and an hour later after stopping for dinner, she had managed to busily rescheduled a boat trip with a fish feeding opportunity for our children & a whistle-stop tour of the final temple, just before the gates closed for the evening. We arrived back at our hotel, very tired, but very happy having had a fantastic trip! Later that evening we received a huge file of photographs she had taken during the trip which was a lovely surprise. Points to consider: Dress conservatively covering shoulders & knees at least Take an umbrella to shield you from the intense heat / sun rays - it is a very open site Take plenty of water with you Ensure you have small change to pay for use of the loos

Ice provided an amazing tour!

We decided last minute to take the tour and Ice graciously accommodated us. He was the best! We truly felt cared for with water, delicious food, charging my phone, and even toilet paper! He spoke great English, was very polite, and taught us about Thai culture, history, and more about Buddhism. I should also mention he’s a great photographer! Overall, we were so happy we started our trip this way. The World Heritage site was amazing and the river cruise a highlight. We highly recommend it!

Afternoon temples, lunch, and boat tour

Thailand- Ayutthaya

We just had an amazing day with our tour guide Adam and his driver Simran. We visited many temples and related historic sites before going for a late lunch and getting a boat trip to see last temple of the day. Adam was exceptionally kind and he made sure we were comfortable during the trip including bottles of iced water and snacks. Adam also gave us plenty historical facts. It was worth paying a bit more to do this trip privately. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you again Adam & Simran

Such an amazing tour 👏 Seeing the temples especially by boat at sunset was awesome! This a long day filled with the most amazing views. I am so glad I did this tour!!!! Loved that is was private just my friend and I.

Temple tour

Lin our tour guide was amazing. Great knowledge of what we were visiting. Knew the best photo spots and was our personal photographer. Can't speak highly enough of this tour.

Serving all senses - spiritually satisfying

Very spiritual experience! We saw amazing temples and had a chance to cruise on the river. Thai people are very kind, hospitable, not pushy, very calm and easy to be around. Our guide Nine was very informative and knowledgeable! Food was incredibly delicious

Not worthy for the price

The food offered was veey cheap. Also the car was too old and uncomfortable. The guide didn't know anythi g about the history of the temples or summer palace. The experience is nice just to see the temples and arrived to the last one by boat is nice. However is not 1 hour trip in boat as they mention.

Lin and Ole were great! Tour was informative, and expedient with comfortable transport.

Lin and Ole were amazing. From the responsiveness even before the tour, to the change in pickup location, to their stamina in the Thai heat! Going around 5 temples in the Ayutthaya was a great way to experience and learn a bit about Thai history. The boat ride at the end was a great cap to the trip.

Fantastic tour

From beginning to end, Adam did a great job of sharing the history of the historical sites and the significance of each location. Well organized tour and service. He even had iced cold water and towels for us since it was a hot humid day. Dinner was pretty good.

Not value for money . Lack of small details to make the trip more enjoyable

It is definitely not value for money . We were disappointed by the quality of the lunch provided considering that we could get a good quality meal for reasonable prices anywhere in Thailand . It wa almost “ vegetarian “‘with a few small pieces of meat . They could have provided a better quality lunch. We even had to pay for our own drinks ie ice tea , ice coffee . The guide has limited command in English . He did not explain much about the temples . No water bottles were offered to us for the trip as well .

Private multi site tour with boat ride

Great day with Adam and our driver Mr Happy. This is a great way to visit multiple sites and temples in a single day on a private tour. The restaurant for late lunch stop is fabulous. The boat ride is also super would have loved it to be longer time in the boat! Really good vehicle and driver. Highly recommended.

All inclusive day trip!

Lin was a fantastic tour guide! We were hoping to get her since a lot of the other reviews mentioned her by name. Her and our driver Ole picked us up at our hotel, which was great that we didn’t have to go anywhere for a pickup. She took us to a bunch of different temples and hit all the highlights. We got plenty of time at each site and didn’t feel rushed. She even timed the sunset on the boat perfectly. Excellent day trip!

Good day trip, don't expect a very historical tour

The tour covered most important temples and the organization was great, also Adam was very nice. I guess I just expected more historical background of the places we visited.

A wonderful experience ! Our guide Lin was very informative and explained the history of the different temples at each destination. She even took us to lesser known temples which was a real bonus. Informative & lots of fun!

This tour was very informative and interesting. It was great seeing all the old temples and learning the history about it. Lin is such an amazing guide and I'd recommend her to anyone.

Very nice day trip

This is now our 3rd tour with Lin as she has done an amazing job to improve our vacation. We went to many temples today that we would never have found on our own. We even had the opportunity for a monk blessing. Lunch was very good as well. The driver Oley was very professional and always made sure we safely make it to each destination. I would recommend this to anyone interested in temples and culture to take this tour while in Thailand.

We had a lovely tour with Lin! She kept a great schedule and everything happened right on time. We saw a remarkable number of beautiful temples during the day and learned a lot about the history of Thailand and Ayutthaya, finishing the day off with a scenic boat ride. Fun day out

The trip was really lovely ! The trip to the floating market was a highlight and the mango rice was yummy !! Definitely worth doing but the rice farm and coconut part was a little lacklustre and short like a stuck on add on .Our guide was very friendly and gave helpful tips !

Informative and Interesting tour

Our guide Lin is very patient and knowledgeable, and shared with us some history and stories of the places of Interest and Bangkok in general. She brought us to a salt farm followed by taking a train to the Maeklong Train Market. Thereafter a little bit of shopping while waiting for the train to leave the station. So it’s kinda having the best of both worlds - riding the train and seeing the train leaving the market. The train market itself is very vibrant even on a weekday morning. Next followed by the floating market where it is a little quiet on a weekday morning but still a nice boat ride to check out the area. Lin recommended us the ideal locations for photo shoots and nice places for a good lunch before making our way back to the hotel. Well recommended!

Great and amazing experience

Our guide Chaiya was great! We could understand and communicate via english with not much issues. Along the way, he explains and give brief description of the places and also history. The railway and floating market is definitely one of the must visit and will recommend this to anyone that hasn’t been before.

Great experience for the whole family

It was a fun trip for the whole family! We went with 2 kids (3+5 years) and it was perfect with regard to program and timing. We even Tool the train! And longtailboat was fun! Kids were tired at the end but could perfectly sleep on the way back to Bangkok

Railway market was Highlight

The railway market was definitely the highlight of this tour. it was fascinating to be on the train going through the market and watching all the stalls move back into place after the train had gone through and watching all the tourists trying to film the experience. The market itself was fascinating as it was an authentic Thai wet market, with all the local stallholders selling local produce some of which would be quite eye-opening to the average Westerner. For example there was a local woman chopping up a large fish just a metre from the railway. Some stores were loaded with semi live seafood such as crabs and eels swimming in buckets. Prices were extremely cheap. Half a kilo of Rambutans for only 30 baht. Some delicious Thai omelettes for ten baht proved to be delicious. Being in the market with a train coming through was a crazy experience. floating market was very touristy but it was very interesting to see the local residences along the canal. The floating market was full of tacky souvenirs but getting the coconut juice from the trees was fun and it was delicious.

Exciting Maeklong Railway Market & floating market outskirts of Bangkok

Our guide Lin was the kindest guide I ever met. She explains very well and takes much initiatives to make sure everyone in the group is being taken care of. There was a long queue for a celebrity noodle stall but she managed to sweet talk to the assistant to give us an express order discreetly. Very cool experience

Lin was very fun and kind with lots of energy, she had lots of knowledge of the area and all the cool spots to take photos. She shared her past experiences with her family living in this area aswell as pointing our landmarks on the train and mini bus and was very willing to answer any questions. Was a great experience and would recommend to anyone from young families to a booze cruise. Wouldn’t want to do it without our english speaking guide Lin as she made the experience what it is

Amazing experience with

We had such a great time with Luck as our tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and shared many great places on our tour and for future visits. The pacing was just right, we didn't feel rushed at all in the markets nor did it feel too slow. The early start meant we beat the heat and had lots of breaks in an air conditioned car. They picked us up directly from the hotel and dropped us off at a close by location! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get out in of Bangkok for a half day trip :)

Nice tour

This is a good trip, with half a day we visited 2 famous places. Personally I would love to have more time in the local train market. Boat noodle is a must-try. Our tour guide is very friendly and helpful.

Tour Experience

We had Lin as our guide, and she was amazing! She took us around and explained different aspects of the markets and processes. I liked how she broke down different words and explained them! She also took us to some amazing stores for food and took great pictures of us!

Great experience!

Lin was very helpful and took us around! She climbed up a coconut tree and showed us the baby coconuts. Definitely get the coconut ice cream and definitely bring mosquito spray if you’re prone to mosquito bites :)
