So, yes: as you can imagine, highly recommended!

Fun walking tour!

Our tour guide was Sammy and he did a great job taking us through the streets and pointing out the interesting sights. He was entertaining and we had good conversations along the tour. We felt bad for how Covid had affected the number of tours he was getting though. The highlight was the rooftop bar at the end, just wished we were a bit more dressed up for the location! The views and ambience were amazing. Definitely recommend Sammy for the tour! If you can choose your guide, do ask for him.

The value is not there

The tour was okay. You see a temple, are paraded around the red light district, get some street food, and are taken to a rooftop bar. The problem is the cost. $50 per person is extortion for the experience. At most the tour should have cost between $15-$20 per person.

Had a great experience unfornatley because of covid-19 most bars and clubs the guide showed me where closed but this was not the guide's fault obviously .

Bangkok Evening Tour

We had a great experience walking the streets of Bangkok and learning about the history of the city and Thailand. We also enjoyed seeing the famous red light district! Arnon was a very friendly and personable tour guide and would definitely use him again if we ever visit again. Highly recommend!

Cancelled at last minute by the tour guide. Things happen, I understand, but they should have confirmed or cancelled earlier, not waiting until they see if they have as many guests as they would like.

We had the best time with Nala!!

We loved Nala!! We had such a blast with her! She took us through the night market, fed us fantastic street food, danced in the streets and the best part is that we got to connect with her on a personal level, she’s a doll!! Highly recommend her for any tour! She’s the best! ♥️

Private tour is the way to go!

With so many tours it can be time consuming and difficult to find the right one. But look no more! We were a group of three, not 13! This private group tour caters to what you want to see and do. Nonglak was great, knows the city well and brought us to tasty street food that we would never have eaten on our own. The streets are crowded and finding a place to sit was really not a problem with a small group. The best way to experience the street food of Bangkok is with a local!

Good Tour

I booked a solo tour so had to pay $47 (2 people) as they don't do it for $23 for one person - I get that but why not allow 2 (or 3 or 4) separate people to book the same tour? For me that would be fine as one of the reasons to go on an English speaking tour is to meet other English speakers on the tour -- for me it makes it more interesting and often I've had a beer with someone at the end of the tour. From what I picked up there are multiple individual tour guides that provide this tour - it's not one tour company. Overall, this is a good educational and experiental tour of a fairly small geographic but interesting area in Bangkok. The information about what is occurring in the Buddhist temple was interesting; also the walk around the Patpong night market and the adjacent red light district (a series of bars along several streets) - all felt completely safe. Good for first timers.

RECOMMEND

Moddy. What a gorgeous person. If you can somehow choose a guide, let it be her. She is very knowledgeable, easy going, always smiling, friendly and the local people loves her (and so you will, as i do). The trip itself is about what you want to see, eat and do, she will provide, but what i enjoyed the most was the human touch :). She showed me places i'd never find or go by myself alone. I can write more and more, but you better find for yourself.

A must for first timers in Thailand!

An absolute must do if you are traveling to Bangkok for the first time. Our tour guide was amazing, we walked the different downtown sections and were able to taste food from local markets with knowledge of what they were. We viewed a temple and learned about the Buddhist beliefs. At the end of our tour we were given recommendations for going out.

Quick tour through the bustling Patpong night market and surrounding street food

Nala was a very fun and informative guide to take you through the night market scene. She knew which street stalls served the best banana pancakes and which bars to go to have fun. Would highly recommend a tour with her.

Great food tour

Our tour with Sammy was definitely a highlight of Bangkok. We got to try thing's we never would have eaten otherwise. Definitely a good guy and I highly recommend booking a tour with him easy.

Great tour with Jannicha

We went on tour last night with Jannicha, she was very polite and friendly and gave us loads on info we would not know about through the temples. It was very interesting. She took us through the market stalls and explained to us what food is the best and helped us translate . We tried amazing street food and she helped cater to us being vegetarian . I would defiantly recommended this tour to anyone who is interested in the temples and local surroundings of Bangkok with the help of a local. We wouldn’t have know where to go or what street food is the best and cheapest, she even gave us tips on prices while haggling at the market. The best way to see Bangkok is with the help of a local who knows where the best places are to go. Thank you Jannicha.

Very good tour!

We had 2,5 hours on a very Enjoyable street food tour with our very motivated and talkative guide. We visited little local restaurants and street food stands in regions where we would probably never had gone and food we never dared to try. But everything we tried was very delicious and Jinnicha always cared that the food was not to spicy for us. We learnt a lot about Thai food, the Thais and Thai-customs and had a really good evening that we enjoyed a lot. We can highly recommend this tour with this guide. Thanks a lot!

Night Street Food Tour with Sammy

My two best friends and I came to Thailand for a once in a lifetime girls trip! Our first night we arrived in Bangkok we had the pleasure of doing the street food night tour with Sammy! Sammy was so fun and personable and we have a night full of laughs and excellent food!! Sammy took us to all of his favorite street food vendors and we all had an intro to what true Thai food is all about! I would highly recommend booking with Sammy for your street food tour!

Had a tour with Sammy last night and he was great! Honestly it was the best tour. Sammy is so knowledgable and also very funny so the evening went by really well. The food was absolutely delicious and I tasted many Thai dishes I never would have picked which was a nice experience. We also took a tuk tuk which was cool. Everything was well organised and Sammy really knew what he was doing. Sammy took loads of pictures of us and sent them over so we have some nice memories to take away too. I would come back to Bangkok just to do another tour with Sammy!

Second to none customer service, amazing experience!

We were travelling from the airport, got caught up in really bad traffic and were going to miss our tour. We contacted Sammy and not only did he wait for us, he also came to our hotel to pick us up. He showed us true Thai hospitality. We had soooo much fun in our tour. Sammy took us to places we would have walked past as tourists. Graduation on street food

Our small group of four went on a street food tour with Sammy. We visited about 10 different places that I would qualify among the most basic you can find in Bangkok and where we would have never had the guts (pun intended) to eat. To be honest we were concerned about the following 24 hours and the reaction of our bodies. Amazingly none of us had the slightest upset and so we fully qualified for any street food in Thailand. To this end, during our subsequent trip to Hua Hin, we exclusively had dinners in night markets where we enjoyed the Thai food to an extent we had never done before, experiencing dishes that were sometimes better than the ones served in top dollar restaurants in BKK. Sammy was a very gracious and competent guide not only for the food but also for some cultural and religious aspects of Thailand. Thanks Sammy!

Best Tour - best streetfood - real authentic

3 hours best street food, real authentic and so delicious. In addition Piyaporn was such a perfect host. She knows everything about the city, culture, food, specialities and was so pleasent with us. Please notice - this is a real authentic food walking tour in areas without tourists - just perfect. Thanks a lot for the best impressions from Bangkok.

Guide locator needed

We never could locate our guide and finally gave up. We received a call 45 minutes later to hook up but we had aleady journied back to our hotel. Was really looking forward to this, but we received no refund.

Great food, Great Guide!

Sammy was excellent throughout!Knowing where to go in Bangkok for street food is daunting by sheer quantity, but Sammy makes the whole process easy.Friendly, personable, and knowledgeable guide with good English! We had some really amazing food from about 7-8 vendors and restaurants!Chicken and pork satay, tom yum soup, local fruits like fresh guava and longkong, coconut pancakes, thai teas... and on and on.Sammy really is an ambassador and cares about his guests and loves sharing Thai culture and food with them.I can't recommend him enough!Make sure you come hungry!

Excellent Bangkok Experience

Kanyanat was our local guide, and she provided an excellent bespoke tour just for the two of us. We started with a visit to a local Bhuddist temple, then on to the Night Market, followed by Street food, and finally the Japanese and Gay club areas. We had barbecue chicken, pad thai , hot and sour soup and crispy pancakes - yummy and filling. Kanyanat was chatty, informative and friendly.

Great Guide!

Had a lot of fun go roam around with Araya, she explained well and was very friendly. Definitely much better to be with a local to buy things where she could bargain for us. We had a very nice moment, thank you!

Great Experience in Bangkok!

Wisit (or, as he prefers, Eddie) was an outstanding host in Bangkok. We enjoyed 8+ dishes - all that he chose for us - amazing satay, soup, curries, desserts (save room for the finale!), and warm conversation in excellent English from a truly kind person. He did a wonderful job and we loved the laughs. We could not have had a better evening and I recommend him highly! Thank you, Eddie!!

Disappointing tour

The eating portion of the tour was an absolute joke! We stopped at only two places whilst walking which were 50 metres apart. The first was things on sticks which he said Aussies go for. I don’t understand why, one bite each and didn’t bother going in for a second bite. The next spot we walked to they handed us a sheet in a plastic sleeve with x3 photos of meals and asked to choose one, none of which looked appetising and that was it! Rubbish. Look elsewhere.

Nightlife & Night Market Tour

Jinnicha was such a fun host that took me a small group of us on a night food tour.We truly enjoyed the local food stalls that she took us too, and her energetic personality made it all the better. Would definitely recommend her for tasty fun night out. She also does various other tours that we plan to do next time we're in Bangkok.

Great Street Food Tour

We had a great Evening Food Tour in Bangkok with our guide Donald. He is a very good guide and showed us the local Street Food. It was a great experience to taste all these traditional thai food and get to know the local life. The Trip with the Tuk Tuk was very funny and our little kids had a lot of fun! Donald always took care of the children. I can really recommend this tour, uncomplicated handling and you can get to know the real local Thai food! Thank you!

Interesting Tour with a Great Host!

Jinnicha had excellent English and gave us good information about Bangkok and the local area. She took us to really out of the way places where locals eat and encouraged us to try different things. She was relaxed and friendly and the foods we tasted were definitely from places where the locals would eat! Really enjoyed the experience.

No show

Didn’t hear anything from anyone, but there was a guide for a different tour who was able to help me figure out that my guy was actually out of town. Called to get me transferred to this other tour and there was a lot of confusion about payment/what’s included/etc. Ended up missing the last train back to my hotel, and couldn’t even get back to starting point. Very disorganized and disappointing. Total bummer

DO NOT USE!!!!

Never seeing sick a greedy company. Main things for them to collect $$$. I booked last min and I emailed them right the way to change the date and their answer is oh sorry the driver was waiting!!!! STOP your BS!!! Couldn’t even offer to change the date and said ohhh we are booked while I’m able to purchase again. But one thing you will need to learn. Be flexible and bit don’t be greedy!!! If you need $$$$ u need to work on customer service/ satisfaction

Great food tour with Sammy!

Sammy was very knowledgeable about Bangkok and the food we tasted. He made a big effort to interact with each of us on the tour individually and make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Bring your appetite as this tour easily overwhelmed our big eaters. Small downside is Sammy can be a fast walker but there are a lot of stops to fit into the tour time. I would definitely recommend this tour to foodies.

Hugely enjoyable and informative

Despite what was a rainy night, my wife and I enjoyed a splendid evening. Sascha was excellent company and took us to places and introduced us to foods we simply wouldn't have had the courage to try on our own. Our only regret was that we didn’t discover this tour earlier, as there’s no doubt we would have been far more adventurous in our food selection, rather than sticking to more conventional restaurants and paying significantly more in the process.

A real local food tasting experience with a kind and enthusiastic guide

We had a very nice evening with several unexpected and nice food tastings. It really was a local street food tasting, which we absolutely prefer above the standard touristic restaurants. Nastassja is a very kind and enthusiastic guide with a lot of knowledge of the local food habits. She doesn't do a standard tour, but customizes the tour based on your preferences and things you never ate before (we, voluntarily, had some delicious crickets). Nastassja gave a lot of background information on the local dishes and the small local restaurants. My wife, 2 kids (17 and 18) and I had a great evening and Nastassja fully deserves the 10 star rating

Brilliant!

Sammy was just brilliant. Polite, funny and great with all members of the family. We ate so much amazing food that we would never have tried unless we were with an expert! We'd highly recommend this tour and Sammy to anyone. Sincere thanks

Yummy tastes of Bangkok street food mixed with the history of Bangkok. Donald was very entertaining! Would strongly suggest this tour as a relaxing and fun way to take in both the best bites and history of Bangkok's Phetchaburi Road Soi 10. Bites included Pad Thai, Kanom Jeen, Tami Tai and many more! Donald even went above and beyond to pick up and drop off our group of 4 at our hotel in Bangkok Old City. We really appreciated the information he provided while navigating the Bangkok Mall and Skytrain to reach our final destination. Donald took the time to stop for a traditional performance at a temple in the middle of the crowded city, the Erawan Shrine (Thao Mahaprom Shrine) which is a unic 4 headed Brahma, situated on that square. We highly recommend Donald for a fun and yummy experience!

Just wonderful

We met and decided on what we fancied doing for the evening - this consisted of food, alcohol, ping pong show and lady boys show. Best night out in Bangkok. Best guide ever

Great tour

Really enjoyed our tour with Sammy. Great to venture into some areas we would not have otherwise gone and taste some local street food we would not have got to taste. Make sure you turn up hungry as there is plenty to eat and drink. The tuk tuk ride was fun. Sammy was a kind and friendly guide. It was interesting learning a little about life in Thailand from him. A really enjoyable and interesting evening.

Fantastic introduction to Bangkok at night

This was the perfect introduction to Bangkok at night. Our wonderful guide Kumlar, introduced us to the night market, street vendor food stalls, the amazing mango and sticky rice pudding, using a tuk-tuk and just moving around at night in a very busy capital with the heat, the sounds, the smells, the business of the street being somewhat daunting. We traveled with our kids and grandma and Kumlar really managed to make us feel at ease and happy instead of worried and insecure. Thank you Kumlar. The following days we felt comfortable venturing out on our own discovering the amazing Bangkok.

Amazing cultural insight!

Instead going to the big touristic temples, the tour started with one big enough to contain all the interesting details that might be overseen by ignorant tourist (like me). Our guide give us a completely honest opinion on different topics like the “red district “ and life in Thailand in general. Also some good tips on what to do and what to try during our stay in Bangkok, I would love to do this tour at the beginning of our trip, but it fully booked.

Superb evening, great food great company.

If we ever visit Bangkok again we would book this tour again. Sammy was a superb guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us some local shrines and then the best bit... The food ! Sammy took us to small local restaurants and street food carts. He explained the food in detail and was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and where they came from. We tried food that we would not normally try and have discovered a new favourite..Tom Yam. Great evening, great food, great host.

Straight of the plane and off round Bangkok with Moddy

I cannot rate Moddy highly enough. She is a great girl. Very knowledgeable and very good fun. Gave us a good night at Khao San Road and a lot of advice. Wish she could have spent more time with us. She would love Soi Bangla in Phuket - where we went next. The music was great and I think she would love it. Thanks Moddy. All our love. Dawn and Billy.

Misleading pricing

The price advertised is completely wrong and misleading. Says £7~ but is actually over £30 which is quite different.

Great guide that wen above and beyond!

It was a little tricky to find our guide at first, but once we connected with her, the rest was wonderful! She was super knowledgeable, and open to all the questions we had about Bangkok and the Thai culture. She went above and beyond and took us to eat other street food items that we asked about beyond what the tour offered. The rooftop bar at the end was awesome! For the cost, this tour is well worth it!!

Great tour to discover fun food options in Bangkok

We had this tour with Nonglak. Very friendly and knowledgeable of fun Bangkok options. We had a great experience with her visiting typical areas of the city, including Patpong. After a wild tuk-tuk ride, we finished with a beer on a rooftop bar to admire the city by night.

Great tour! Phudit is a great guide. Very caring and considerate. And nothing is too much trouble. Like being on a tour with your friend! And he will change or tailor it to your needs! Had the best Food ever! And a beer to finish! Perfect :-)

Good intro

We had just arrived in Bangkok and met with Donald at 5pm. We got an intro to the temples and then went to the Patpong Night Market and shopped. He patiently waited as we shopped then we got some street food. Not a lot of info/history. More of a companion to the Bangkok area. Would recommend to someone very new to the area. Smaller group better.
