Had the best winery tour trip with Ike, what a funny and insightful and kind man. Me and my friend had a blast and felt very comfortable thru out all trip, honestly didn’t want it to end. Ask for Ike, this guy has connections and knowledge like no other! And who knew that Austin have such amazing tasty wines! Can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Fun Day for our group in the Texas Hill Country

We were an eclectic group consisting of two families, one American and one Canadian, who are in business together. Also along were an American board member and trustee of the business, plus his wife. There were eleven of us. We enjoyed lunch at Salt Lick Barbecue in Driftwood. Afterwards we went to Driftwood Estates Winery and tried six of their award winning wines. We then visited Fall Creek Winery and had a wine tasting in a private room. The wines were all very good. There were three teenagers along. They had to stay in the van while we were at the Driftwood Estates winery, but were allowed in the private room at Fall Creek. At the latter they were offered soft drinks, water, etc. I mention this because teens aren’t allowed to have alcohol at the wineries even if their parents are present. I’d like to give a shout out to Ike, our driver and guide. He is fun and interesting, giving us lots of ideas for things to do in Austin. He also has a cool activity for the drive back to the city. Everyone picks a song they like, to be played over the radio, and the rest of the group guesses who picked that song.

Awesome experience

Our tour guide, Ike was just awesome to share history of Austin and many trivia of the city. Music mix on the way.. made the trip more interesting. Love it!!!

Ike is the best

Ike was just incredible. Great energy and made our time so enjoyable! He kept us on time but was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend as long as you ask for Ike.

Ike was hilarious

The half-day wine tour with Ike was phenomenal. Ike was extremely knowledgeable…the conversation, and jokes, were great and the vineyards visited were amazing and accommodating. I’d DEFINITELY recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed…especially if Ike is your guide.

Ike was a wonderful guide. He shared insightful information about the wineries and area. He took time to get to know us and gave recommendations for things we might be interested in doing during our stay. Best part, he is very funny and made the wine tasting a lot of fun! Thank you!

Awesome Tour!

We had Evan as our guide and the love he has for Austin was apparent! So full of facts and fun. Most helpful were his tips about what to do after the tour. The tour itself was fun! Lots of cool info and beautiful sights to see. The wine was good too!

Excellent tour of hill country wine!

Amazing tour - Ike was a knowledgeable, funny and kind guide. Our other guests cancelled leaving me to take the tour solo, Ike put me at ease and kept me in excellent company throughout the trip. Hill country was beautiful and the wine was great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Great excursion from Austin!

This was such a fun excursion! The BBQ at Salt Lick was delicious and the two wineries were just the right amount for an afternoon tasting. Jax, our guide, was so friendly and gave great recommendations for ordering at Salt Lick and for finding other activities/restaurants around Austin to suit everyone's taste. I liked the group size as well, as it gave everyone the opportunity to chat and get to know one another. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Austin.

No better way to spend a Monday afternoon!

Excellent 1/2 day trip. Our guide, Jax, was great, knowledgeable and informative. Be prepared to spent atleast $20/ person if you want to do the tasting menu. Pours are a bit small, but they also offer glasses or bottles. One of the wineries is also a brewery now too. The trip though the Hill country was was scenic and fun. Overall great trip.

Great Experience!!!

Such a great experience! The wineries r scenically beautiful. Great wines too. Our driver, Jax, was awesome. Just a note to remember the wine tastings r an additional charge at each winery. We stopped at 3 wineries. U can also just buy a glass or bottle instead of the tasting. I honestly could have spent the entire day. Highly recommend.

Great tour!

Kelty was an amazing tour guide! She was super fun and informative and we had a great time. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend!

Unsatisfied, we paid for 3 stops and only recived two. Because they booked a tour when the 3rd tour was already reserved

We were promised a 3rd stop that never happened. I dont think it's fair that we paid them the whole price, when we only got 2 out of 3 stops. Our tour guide was the best part. If it weren't for David, I'd request a full refund.

Evan was the BEST!!

Our guide, Evan, was amazing. Informative, engaging, and full of fun. He also gave us tips on what to see in San Antonio. He is TOPS - Absolutely 5 STARS!!

Wine Tour from Austin

Really nice wine tour in the Texas Hills - the tour was really nice as we were visiting from London without a car and this took us to places we couldn’t have gone to without. All was easy from booking to checking in and our Tour Guide David gave us the best tour and made himself available to any questions, facilitated intros with our people in the tour, checked if the AC was good for everybody, he even had a step to get out of the minibus (which was very comfy) - he even asked about the music we liked :-). The tour itself was interesting with different wineries in total different styles, so it caters for every taste. I really loved that at the end of the tour David gave us recommendation cards on what other things to do. These were personalised according to our taste and to what was of interest to us. I can honestly say that you absolutely want David to look after you when visiting Austin.

It is not always the wine that makes the good time…

Ike, our tour guide, is the personification of Austin… Just a little weird, and fun, and trustworthy, and a very nice man. He had 10 of us in the group, all making friends with one another and enjoying each other‘s music selections during our drive to/from the Wineries. He was able to keep us entertained during the drive by letting us know about the wines and wineries, as well as a few cute “dad jokes”. He truly MADE the trip EXCEPTIONALLY fun!! The wines were ok… Ike on the other hand is like an aged wine… Sophisticated and fun!!

Our tour guide Ike was great! Very knowledgeable on the hill country story. He made the ride fun. We all sang to the play list Ike made for us. We met some super cool people from Scotland and we had great wine.

Fun Afternoon Activity

A fun way to spend an afternoon in Austin. Jax was a great tour guide - super fun, knowledgeable and energetic, and really helped our group to bond and feel comfortable fast. We enjoyed the three wineries, her suggestions and the comfortable ride to get us there. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get out of downtown Austin for part of the day.

More time in Hill Country

While fun, I would’ve preferred going to a third winery vs The Yard. Felt like not enough time in hill country. Driver was so sweet and helpful though.

We had an amazing experience! Davis was a wonderful driver/guide, the wineries were very welcoming, and the other people on the van were lots of fun!! We highly recommend this tour.

Fun and informative tour

This tour is perfect if you want to explore some of the beautiful hill country and discover great Texan wine! Our guide, Kelty, was terrific! She had great knowledge of the area, ensured a fun and informative tour and gave great recommendations upon returning to Austin on places to go etc. I highly recommend this tour - you will love it!

We had an amazing wine tour with a group of 6, and each stop was both fun and educational. We learned a lot about the Austin area and the history behind Texan wines, while enjoying a fantastic variety of wines. Our guide Brent was made this trip, he welcoming, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Texas wine country!

A Must See!

Ms Jax our guide was superlative in every way! Funny, engaging, knowledgeable about wine but also curious about our preferences and reactions. Flexible on our schedule and spent time getting to know us. The wineries were terrific, the landscape reminded us so much of Tuscany!!!

A must when visiting Austin!

Hands down a MUST! Trace is such a joy! Funny, very knowledgeable and showed us the BEST time! I would request Trace aka we called him Quattro. Would recommend this to anyone passing through. Just enough time, delicious food on the stops and the wine was great!

Ike, is kind by nature, warm and cheerful, he waited patiently for us during our tasting, he was attentive and gave us personalized advice for our stay. A must do, for sure.

We toured with Evan on our honeymoon, what a great guy. The bus was comfortable and like Evan said we were all friends by the end of the trip. We went to great wineries and even got to stop at an extra stop for a quick picture. He has a lot of knowledge about Texas and by the end of the trip he will give you more must do stops and sights to see. He made the whole bus feel at home and everyone had a blast to the point we were all SCREAM SINGING to a great playlist along the way. If Evan doesn't have the answer for you and your question he will get you the answer as soon as the next stop. Great Guy like I said. Certainly a must do tour.

Best Austin Tour

AMAZING Tour. Our guide Evan was great, informative, cool and engaging. I loved the wineries and the wines. Also met some amazing people on the tour and we all had a blast! Would do this again the next time in town. As a solo traveler I did not feel alone!

Share over wine and beer

If you are looking to get outside of Austin for a cool experience take this tour. We met 8 great people from all over the US, and shared our stories over wine and beer. Our guide was great, broke the ice quickly and made us all comfortable and kept the van nice and cool. She was knowledgeable but in a fun way that didn’t make it seem like a school field trip. All three stops were great, last stop even gave the option of beer. If you have the time book this one.

Wonderful wine tour

The wine tour was amazing, made even more amazing by our awesome tour guide Ike. Ike made sure we all had fun and really encouraged us to get to know each other. The Vineyards offered quality wine and Ike was a wealth of knowledge about each vineyard.

Wonderful experience outside the city!

Each winery we went to was so different & the last spot had so many other breweries & wineries from a walkable distance. It was nice to try a variety of different spots. Michael was very informative throughout the experience.

Great Excursion Outside the City

This wine tour was seamless. The van is comfortable, guide is energetic and efficient, and the wineries were wonderful. We had the perfect amount of time to enjoy a tasting, socialize, and take some photos at each spot. The price point is perfect for a day adventure outside the city limits.
