Incredible Experience

First and foremost, Christos is a superb guide. He is very knowledgeable about Greek history and cultural making the ride out to Nemea very informative and fun. Second, the wineries I visited were stunning. The staff at each were extremely friendly and very familiar with the wines they were showcasing. Each offered a tour of the facilities, as well as a tasting with a small plate. Not to mention that the vineyards and views from some of the wineries were breathtaking. It was my first time visiting the Greek countryside and having the opportunity to stop at cultural sites along the way was absolutely perfect. Christos made certain that I was able to enjoy each location at my own pace. I never felt rushed and instead, it was like spending the day with a friend, who just happened to know all of the right places to see. If you are looking for a full day out of the city, I cannot recommend this tour enough. Every detail was perfectly curated and Christos was an excellent host. You can tell that he really enjoys his job and wants to make sure that you enjoy your time in Greece’s wine country. A+ service and tour!

Totally Recommend this Tour

Phillipe is the best tour guide we have ever had! He is knowledgeable, gracious and made the experience unforgettable! We highly recommend this tour. It was very well organized and the day went smoothly. We learned so much about wine and the processes. Phillips’s knowledge of Greek history is astonishing. We learned so much from him and enjoyed every minute of our tour.

This tour sparked my love for Greek wine

We had a wonderful time on this tour to Nemea with our driver, Nikolaos. He was friendly and helpful, and seemed to know when to act as a "guide" and when to allow us (a group two couples) to enjoy each other's company and explore on our own. The three wineries we went to were amazing, especially Estate Constantin Gofas. Would definitely recommend this to those who love wine and would enjoy experiencing the country side, just outside of Athens.

Not quite what we were expecting

Let's start with the good. Prompt pickup, great signage at the port, and a very nice ride (Mercedes van for 4 folks). Also the 3nwineries had enough diversity to express some differing opinions on the various wines made in the valley. Now for the part that needs some improvement. I had to check the booking to make sure we bought the right thing. All the reviews I read were solid 5 stars talking about the great driver and touring experience. Ours felt very much like a transport-only trip. I think our driver may have said 2 sentences the entire ride up. Feltnmore like an Uber ride than a tour. Coming back we asked to stop at the ruins and at least drive through the old city, so that was ok. If we hadn't asked, not sure it would have been anything more than dropping us directly back at the boat. Bottom line, the wineries were great, but I'd look for a more tour experience at this price point or a cheaper transport only arrangement (and know that's all you're getting).

Very enjoyable experience

We visited 3 wineries, and the first two were definitely 5 star experiences. Andreas at Palivos was an amazing host to give us a tour and do our tasting. The wines at Constantin were incredible. The third winery we went to, Karamitsos, was absolutely beautiful, but we found the wines to be a bit underwhelming. It was a very enjoyable day, but with just light bites at each winery, there was no real lunch, which is difficult when you’re spending the day wine tasting. Christos was a great driver and very friendly. He showed us some very impressive archaeological sites on our trip, which added to the experience. Overall it was a very enjoyable day.

Amazing tour & passion

Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 family wineries we visited. The wine, scenery and staff providing the tastings were very knowledgeable and passionate about their wine. Since it was during the week, we received very personal attention. Made several stops to see some additional sites. Christos was an amazing guide and would highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing time on our wine tour! We went to the following wineries Karamitsos, Palivos Estate and Bairaktaris. Delicious wines and fantastic views! Along with ancient Corinth and the Corinth Canal. It was a wonderful day. I highly recommend this tour. We enjoyed it!

Well organized

Impressively dressed driver and immaculate transport. Lots of info on the region, some historic stops thrown in. Options were available if you spend too much time in one place. Wine tastings all offer a range of tastings three + with cheeses and meats. Had some amazing wines in some beautiful wineries. The countryside is beautiful.

Wonderful experience!

Christtos gave us a wonderful trip. He was an excellent guide and driver. So understanding, and we highly recommending him for anyone's future trip.

Great day trip

Our guide Phillipe was great! His anecdotes connected the passing landscapes with Greek history. He also knew when we had heard enough and didn’t overwhelm us with his knowledge. We all had a great time and would recommend the trip to anyone who wants to have a great time while learning about wine and exploring a bit of Greece.

A day in Nemea Wine Country

A wonderful experience driving through beautiful landscapes and iconic vineyards that perfectly express the essence of Greek wines. Our driver, Nikos, was a wonderful guide. He shared his insights and kept us on time and on track. The sites at ancient Nemea were extraordinary. We have never had such intimate access to the sites of Greek antiquity. A once in a lifetime experience.

Nemea Wine 4 Days!

Our driver Christos made our trip unforgettable while catering to our interests. The wineries we were taken to were very attentive. We had so much fun trying out wines and never felt rushed. The trip included some nice historical stops. Best wine ever! Got to try local grapes fresh from the vineyards too which was cool. Definitely worth the money to get the extra time.

Best of the Peloponnese for all!

I had an amazing time! As a beginner I learned so much and felt like it was truly personalized! While I went solo, I think this would be great for couples and groups. After a few wineries we went to have a homemade lunch and wine pairing with him and his wife. I felt so welcomed and this was one of the best days (none better than the other just different) and the best in the Peloponnese of my two weeks in Greece! Definitely recommend for the wine connoisseur, the newbie, and everything in between!

Wonderful day in the country

Three great wineries in the Nemea region, a monastery on the cliff, the temple of Zeus and man-made 100 m deep canal between the Ionian Sea and Aegean Sea. Fabulous day. Two couples and a driver we were able to go at our own pace. Nemea is 1.5 hours out of Athens so you will see the countryside ( vineyards, olive groves, mountains and valleys. The Lafazanis winery was our favorite for wine quality, and Karamitsos was a beautiful setting. Wine tasting and wine bottle prices are very reasonable.

Absolutly fantastic day

We had a wonderful day being driven around vineyards by our driver Christos, who was very knowledgeable about the area, telling us fun little facts about the place like why the Corinth cannal exists. He also reccomended a few restaurants which we would have never found had it not been for him!

Terrific Tour

Great guide and wineries selected were very nice. A good blend of smaller and larger wineries with tours and tasting services. Tastings were much less expensive than in the states for the most part. We also went to some ruins as well as a small seaside town for a bit between the wineries. The wineries also served snacks with the tastings, so you don't really need to worry about finding time for lunch but the time exists if you want it.

Wines and more

This was a fabulous trip. Christos, our driver, was wonderful! He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and familiar with the wineries and the local history. We visited 4 wineries which all presented us with delicious wine and pairings. We loved this tour and when we asked about transport to our cruise ship Christos said he was available. He gave us a marvelous tour of Athens and delivered us to our ship on time. Highly recommend this tour company!

Wonderful experience!

Loved every moment of our private tour. Nikolaos, our host and driver, was courteous, flexible, and knowledgeable about Greek’s long history. He was a pleasure to have around, and helped to make our day a memorable one. The wineries and the Nemea region were lovely. Make sure if you’re booking the 50% online option, remember that you still need to pay the other half to the driver on the day.

Great Greek Wineries Tour

Christos Exarchopoulos was our very informative tour guide. We were picked from our hotel in Athens and went to Corinth Canal and from there to Nemea Wine region to enjoy a very relaxing and personal experience at family run Greek wineries. Ended with a late lunch at the beautiful seaside town of Nafplion.
