The entire experience was wonderful. From the moment we stepped in the shop to the end, the staff was friendly, warm and helpful. Stavros was our main guide and he walked us through everything we needed to know, making sure throughout that we felt comfortable and confident at every point. Beyond the great staff, quality of the equipment, and ease of location, the water and experience of exploring the sea in a new way was incredible. I highly recommend this experience and look forward to visiting again in the future whether for another beginner dive course or to pursue certification.

Highlight of my trip!!!

This was hands down the highlight of our trip to Athens! My friends and I had an amazing time scuba diving. For 4 out of the 5 of us, it was the first time we ever tried scuba diving, definitely a challenge but the instructors were so patient with us, so friendly, so knowledgeable and very fun! They were very accommodating and went over and beyond with the service they provided. If I’m ever back in Athens I’ll do this again!!!

Fantastic, fun, learned to scuba

Took the open water diving course, and went into the course with zero diving experience. The instructors were fantastic- very knowledgeable, caring, safety focused and also worked to make the experience fun. The course design was very well done and I learned so much. Would definitely take another course or do a dive trip with Aqualized!

The Dive Centre you're looking for near Athens

I've been to a good few diving centres, but the service and ambience of this one is probably up in the top 3 for me. The staff is super friendly, professional, and accommodating. The dives they offer are interesting and fun. And their equipment and prices are both very good. I've contacted them online for a mere 2 days before visiting Athens, in hopes that they'd have an option for me to dive a couple of times. While they didn't have a bus for transport, they arranged for me complete equipment and a diving buddy (given that we can fit our packs into the trunk of a rental car). I could just as well have dived the very next day, but instead we went for a double dive a day later. My diving buddy, Sofoklis showed me around the shop, walked me through the plan he had in mind, selected equipment and gave me coffee while doing so. We went to a dive site roughly 20 minutes from the centre where he has not been before but was recommended by another instructor at the centre, Geo, and another site he named one of the best he knew in the area. Both dives were fun, the company was great and I also got all of the GoPro footage (included in the simplest package even) by the very next day. They also provided ample protection for the car and were very professional with the equipment's transport in a private vehicle. We also had snacks and other refreshments in a cooler box included in the experience. They even have a student discount, but both the rental and the dives were so affordable I didn't opt for it. I had an amazing time and would recommend them to anyone who wants to dive when visiting Athens and the peninsula.

Underwater adventure close to Athens

We had taken the bus and were greeted by Geo at the terminal. You could tell that Geo was very experienced and it was comforting to meet him. We recevied a thourough walk through of the gear and how to communicate underwater by Katerina after which we got ready to go dive. Me and my partner had dived before but my partner was still not comfortable with being underwater. Aspa and Katerina did a gret job making sure she was comfortable, safe and took it slow in a pace she felt safe with. We were able to see many creatures underwater such as sea urchins, fish and even a squid. I would reccommend this for anyone that is interested in scuba diving or just want an adventure for the day. Perfect for first time divers just as well for experienced certified divers.

Best experience of my life

Me and my family had a great time diving with our instructor sofoklis here. He made me feel really safe and relaxed even though it was my first dive ever. The instructions were clear. The place had a really good atmosphere. The instructors can speak good English so thats also a plus point. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!!!

Exceptional Dive Centre

I joined my friend for diving at Aqualized, her preferred dive centre/club. I have dived all all over the world and can confidently say Aqualized is one of the very the best organised, safest and friendliest centres in my 12 year experience. Their diveleaders, divemasters, are exceptional. The procedures at the dive HQ, on the boat and in the water are just excellent. George who owns the business is an extremely experienced diver, coarse director and a wonderful host. The boat is a very large, fast inflatable with lots of space and all safety equipment in top condition. The diving waters are clear with a LOT of sea life and I can see no better company to dive with. Thank you! Nigel Braithwaite

Amazing beginners Scuba Diving! Fantastic team!

We were staying locally in a neighbouring village Saronida and decided to give Scuba diving ago. My mum was very nervous and apprehensive at the start but the lovely staff managed to convince us to try it out. It was worth it! The diving instructors were so patient and kind, especially the lovely Alexandra, taking it step by step holding my mums hand through the dive. We swam through schools of fish and the instructor pointed out amazing sea life from sponges to sea urchins, it was a magical experience. The fantastic team of instructors not only helped my mum to conquer a fear but provided a magical experience for us both, with fond memories to last a life time! THANK YOU

Intro workshop free diving

I went for an introduction workshop free diving. Geo the head of the scuba diving school was so friendly to pick me up from Kantza metro station and we had a chat about basically anything making me feel welcome. Sofoklos the free diving teacher was amazing. We practized some breathing exercizes and then went in the water for further instructions. With patience, skills and humor I was able after a while to relax and do some deep dives experimenting with different techniques. I can recommend anyone interested in scuba diving or free diving Geo's diving school. It was a great experience and I will definitely coming back for more lessons.

Best experience in Anavissos

Very professional and quick to answer my email. They arranged everything for us, even picked us up at our hotel. Instructor Alex was great, provided us with very clear and fun initiative training. They have very good gear in perfect condition. After, we went for 45-60 mins dive. Fantastic experience, definitely would recommend to all, and will return here myself.

A great place to learn scuba diving or just dive

The school is a great place, near the beach, to experience scuba diving and get PADI certificates. I had an awesome experience with the instructors and the people there. Very professional on what they are doing and very new equipment. Highly suggested!

Superb!

We booked in 4 teenagers aged 14-19 for the discover scuba diving experience. From the initial contact by email to the actual experience we could not have asked for better. We were greeted and introduced to everyone. There were 5 people on the experience in total with 2 instructors plus 2 others who held the buoys so almost 1to 1 tuition. The initial explanation was very interesting and detailed. The actual diving experience was superb! All our children had an amazing time and want to come back next year to do their level 1 diving certificate. I can totally recommend them. Very friendly and supportive and obviously love their job.

Great team, great service

I have been diving with George for years. He is always paying attention to detail having your safety first. His new diving center has a lot of space to accommodate a lot of people with their gear, a great boat properly designed to safely carry the diving gear and also have space for the divers, great and helping diving instructors/divemasters to assist and guide you. I definetely recommend Aqualized, especially if you are looking to get your first diving experiences.

Incredible vibe from expert instructors

We had our first underwater experience in this amazing place near Sounio and the temple of Poseidon. Our instructors Sofoklis and Alexandra not only guided us with safety throughout the diving experience, paying attention to every detail that concerned us, but they also introduced us to a paradise of fishes, shells and sponges of the greek sea. Hightlight: This lovely pair of cuttlefish.

A new experience

Our first experience with scuba diving took place with those amazing guys and... WOW! What an experience! We all went out of sea with awe in our eyes and smiles on our faces. Nothing to fear, everything is super safe, even underwater there's always an expertised eye on you all the time. Most of us did want to continue this unique experience with more lessons, some already did, some have already planned it when weather gets warmer again! Thank you all for those moments!

Great scuba experience!

I tried my very first scuba dive with the Aqualized team and after this experience I decided to follow the beginners course with these guys. Everything was really organised, the instructors are professional and amazing teachers, the equipment is very well maintained, and at the same time the team makes each scuba dive experience and course cool and entertaining. In addition, the instructors are very helpful and they just make everything easy for their students and clients. Undoubtedly, each and every dive with them made my summer more interesting and I look forward continuing my diving education and trips with the Aqualized team. Awesome guys, awesome experiences, highly recommended!!!

Awesome adventure with awesome Team

I really enjoyed experience with Aqualized Team , each part of this adventure was organized not only professionally but as well with super friendly treatment - and this is something we will remember Aqualized for. - I sent them message Friday afternoon and their response was super quick - on Sunday we already dived. - They arranged our pick-up from the bus station and we were lucky as after our lesson they also were so helpful to drop us to Athens. - Each Team member treating you as part of family - they all are smiley, talkative, eager to share their experiences. To give you an idea of this kindness level - they arranged for me towel and hairdryer which is actually not included to the offer of course. - You can have a class in several languages - for sure English & Spanish can be arranged. - My personal advice is to come at the end of the season as in our case we had our "private" instructor who was focused on us and our impressions. - All the information was given in a clear way, equipment was in good condition. - Location .... well it is not so close to Athens in my opinion , however I really enjoyed window view from the bus on the cliffs and sea on our way to Saronida. Take your earphones , put some "summer vibes" music and relax before your adventure. To summarize - of course I recommend them after such nice experience

I know Geo since his last job and i have to say that i am amazed of what he and his team have accomplish!First of all a beatiful and cozy space with friendly and smile people since all these are the start for a great dive!A faaaaantastic boat for our trips to the blue and people who i trust and love to dive with!Diving sites are very intresting with every dive feels like a new experience!

Awesome experience & very friendly people

These guys gone beyond my expectations on every front, whether that's the whole feel of the place or the instructors or the scuba diving courses. They are warm, quite passionate about what they do and also very good at what they do. We were 4 friends who went for our beginners' experience with scuba diving. Unimaginable Fantastic Diving Experience --- Memorable Beyond Description

A truly memorable diving experience at “Aqualized Dive Adventures”. Everyone I met in the facility was truly friendly and helpful, especially my diving mentor Sofoklis and Nestor. I am a landlubber and it was my first real sea/ocean experience. Sofoklis and Nestor were extremely professional and helpful. They were super patient in introducing the pre-dive lessons and demonstrating all the underwater skills. I feel very comfortable in exploring the underwater world with Sofoklis around me, even though I do NOT know how to swim. I can feel Sofoklis and Nestor’s dedication through the whole unforgettable experience, they are always available, ready to offer a helping hand, with genuine smiles. I am truly grateful to this fantastic diving experience, the very first time I see the world from beneath the water, and the very first time I see so many real living creatures in the ocean; I feel a sea urchin crawling in my palm; and the smooth surface of living sea sponges. So many pictures I saw previously in TV and documentaries were real images in front of my eyes. The whole experience is just beyond description. Would definitely recommend this must-have experience with Sofoklis and Nestor at Aqualized Dive Adventures to anyone (while travelling or living in Greece), including people who cannot swim. In addition, the facility is located in a Greek garden-style environment, which is a big bonus, really attractive to a foreigner like me.

A must-visit diving centre - A wonderful experience

I did my PADI AOWD courses with the Aqualized Dive Adventures. It was a wonderful life time experience! George made us feel so welcome, we enjoyed every dive. Antonis is an excellent instructor, always gives you the best advice. Everyone is so friendly and professional, the equipment is brand new and the diving centre very cosy. Definitely recommended for both scuba courses and fun dives! Looking forward to the August fun dives with Aqualized team !!
