Paying to see it depends on time and interest

You have to pay to get in and I'm glad we didn't. It is exciting to see the ruins everywhere, but you can see most of it from outside (without paying) and also from the Acropolis. The photos taken by photographers at sunrise/sunset are great but in the middle of the day it was OK. I'm glad we didn't pay.

Worth it if the tickets scan (ours didn't but we got lucky)

Overall, visiting Temple of Olympian Zeus is something you should try to fit in. Lots to see and appreciate--especially if you're a fan of ancient Greek culture, architecture, and mythology. That said, the tickets we purchased through Viator did not work (error when ticket agent scanned our code). Luckily, the ticket office let us through. We were able to skip the shortish line (tourist season hadn't started yet). I wonder what would have happened if they were busier and/or if the ticket office wasn't in a nice mood!!!

Nice place

Easy ticket scan! We enjoyed walking around the ruins, although being under restoration. I wish the ticket process was simpler with purchasing and receiving ticket. Receiving the voucher and waiting for the ticket is too much correspondence!

Apesar dos pontos acima, vale a pena a visitação.

O local está bem ruim para visitação, a restauração incompleta dificulta visitação e fotos. Nesta visitação vc não vai gastar mais que 30min dentro do templo. Se estiver com criança como nós, sugiro nem levar carrinho, pois o mesmo não tem como se locomover dentro devido as pedras...Encostamos o nosso em um local e andamos com o bebe de canguru, como foi super rápido, pois não tem muito o que ver, deu tudo certo!

Nn ne vale la pena di andare a vedere questo sito… meglio risparmiare i soldi per altro che tanto il tempio si vede anche da fuori per esempio anche dalla veduta dell’ acropoli

Multi-day ticket

At the moment you can only see the three rightmost columns, the block of six is framed by scaffolding... so it wasn't very clear There is a joint ticket for the 7 ancient sites in Athens for 30€, which is valid for 5 days! If I hadn't had that, I wouldn't have gone to this complex...
