Great tour

It was a good tour, very solid experience throughout. Our guide was very well prepared and told a lot of interesting stories. The children were entertained and enjoyed listening to all the myths and fun facts.

Amazing experience- Demi kept my three children completely engaged with all the stories of Ancient Greece and how they link to the Acropolis ! Useful education for me too ! Loved it !

Do Not use this company for tours from a Cruise ship

Beware if you are using them on tours from a Cruise ship. Our ship was delayed 30 min in the Athens harbor. We were on a small group tour with 10 people in our group. We called immediately that we were 30 min behind schedule and told the guide would not wait since there were 4 others in the group. We were told to go in the Acropolis and "look for her". There are approx 15-20 thousand people in there that day....there was NO way to look for her. We never found the guide. We were told that we were only entitled to a refund if we cancelled 24 hrs ahead....of course that is impossible when you don't know you will be 30 min late!!! DO NOT USE THEM IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE YOU WILL BE LATE OR NEED TO CHANGE THE PLAN.

Great fit for kids late elementary-aged and older

We had a great guide in Hellena but the heat wave when we visited, long Acropolis lines and level of content made for a short tour in the end. Our 6 and 9 year olds had a hard time staying engaged in the parts where we were just learning but LOVED the part where they could make their own hero. Hellena went above and beyond to accommodate our kids needs (see: heat, lines, attention spans above) and was the kind of kid-friendly guide we were looking for. Would definitely recommend and just hope that weather and lines are in your favor!

Pleasant but very basic

Pleasant but far too basic/childish for my 12 year old. I would say it’s for 7-10 year olds, not older or more well read children, who will already know more than the info provided and likely don’t want to do coloring book at the end.

Beautiful and educational tour

Amerillys was an excellent tour guide. Just be sure to get your ticket to skip the line at the Acropolis, first. Don’t worry about getting the Acropolis museum ticket shared of time. You can do that after the tour and the line at the museum moved quickly.

Fantastic tour and guide

Incredible tour for the whole family. Vicky was engaging, knowledgeable and fun! The kids on the tour absolutely adored her. Do not hesitate!

Made each step of the Acropolis interesting

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly… definitely helped keep kids entertained. She was also so flexible when the kids needed a break we really appreciated it.

A fantastic tour from start to finish!

Having 2 boys (aged 10 & 11) who are mad about Percy Jackson, then we 100% made the right decision in choosing this tour. Alex was our guide and he made our morning so much fun during our tour of the Acropolis & Parthenon. The boys were enthralled and were so happy whenever he referenced anyone from the Percy Jackson series. Even my husband and I, who know nothing about Greek Mythology, came away having learnt a lot during our time with him. Alex is a great tour guide and kept us all captivated from start to finish. It’s a 10/10 from us. Highly recommend!

Great tour of the Acropolis

We got a great private tour, explaining all the different Greek myths and legends. The tour guide spoke French perfectly and was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend if you are interested in mythology, even if you are not with children (we were 6 adults).

Great introduction to Athens!

Ifi, our guide, was friendly, informative and engaging. The children (between 6 and 13) loved all her stories. It was a wonderful introduction to Athens and it's spectacular history.

The magnificent acropolis led by a fantastic guide (Kimon)

We took this guided tour with my wife and our 5 year old son. Kimon is an awesome guide who is passionate. The content of his visit is captivating and, in addition to having humor, he gives a fun side to the tour by regularly involving us through questions. I add a special mention for his patience, especially with young children.

Very nice visit with a quality guide

Excellent morning with Kimon, formerly an architect. He speaks French very well and has a sense of humor. We didn't see the morning go by. His explanations were clear, we clearly feel his passion for history and mythology in particular. Kimon took good care of the group, especially in the slippery passages on the acropolis. We recommend without hesitation!

Great way to visit the Acropolis

A great morning visiting the Temple of Zeus, the Acropolis and the Agora. The 4 hours went by super quickly thanks to the super nice guide who told us lots of stories and historical elements. Perfect with children aged 13, 10 and 5! I recommend !

Idéal pour découvrir Athènes et la mythologie

Plus de 4h de découverte des principaux sites d’Athènes avec les bonnes explications nécessaires. Initiation à la mythologie grecque très bien. Amélia était très attentive. Manque juste un peu de rythme et d’intonation pour capter un peu plus l’attention. Nous avons également fait le parcours découverte de Plaka avec Clément. Très bien pour découvrir l’Athènes d’aujourd’hui !

On vous recommande l'Acropole avec Kimon

On pense toujours pouvoir se priver des services d'un(e) guide. Pour visiter l'Acropole et les vestiges alentours, nous (un couple plus une enfant de 9 ans) avons eu recours à Kimon, ancien architecte qui aime visiblement sa ville, son activité, le sens du partage, de l'échange avec les grands comme les plus petits. Il porte avec lui un document précieux qui étaye/visualise ses dires et on chemine calmement entre les siècles. Fin, posé, ponctuel, souriant, Kimon nous a dispensé son savoir pendant quatre heures sans aucune pesanteur. Rétrospectivement, nous serions passés à côté de pas mal de choses. Oui, un(e) guide, un guide tel que Kimon, c'est précieux.

Visites des sites archéologiques au top 👍🏻

Une visite en famille avec mon père et mon oncle, nous étions seulement 3. Notre guide était très gentille et nous a extrêmement bien expliqué tous les sites visités (Temple de Zeus, Acropole et Agora) avec une foules d'anecdotes. Une visite de 4 heures que je conseille à tous !!

Superbe découverte de l’Acropole !

Superbe visite privée (en famille) avec Hélène ( l’orthographe n’est peut-être pas la bonne!) de l’Acropole, sous un soleil de plomb, de 14 à 16h ! Hélène a su nous faire oublier nos appréhensions quant à la chaleur, en agrémentant notre visite de petites pauses à l’ombre des oliviers, où elle nous livrait ses explications . Hélène maîtrise parfaitement notre langue, émaillant son discours de nombreuses références étymologiques.Elle a su nous passionner deux heures durant, faisant revivre sous nos yeux toute cette mythologie grecque et répondant à nos interrogations avec le sourire .Encore merci !

Tour parfait: Vastia nous a montré les différents monuments en faisant apprécier la mythologie et le sens des lieux aux quatre enfants (7 - 17 ans) qui n'en ont pas raté une miette malgré la chaleur.

Héros en herbe avec Kimon, super guide!

Nous avons fait la visite « Hero en herbe » en famille avec un super guide, Kimon. Le groupe était composé de 6 enfants (et leurs parents) donc d’une taille tout a fait ok. Kimon est vraiment top avec les enfants, il a réussi à les intéresser pendant 3h30 sur la mythologie grecque d’une façon très ludique. Je recommande vivement!

Super visite en famille

Une superbe visite de 4 heures avec un petit groupe, en français. Le prix m'avait un peu refroidie mais nous n'avons pas regretté : Kimon a été super, passionnant et sympa avec les enfants qui ont tous adoré (11, 12 et 14 ans). Un guide vivant, drôle, élégant, cultivé qui a su adopter le bon rythme pour notre groupe. De nombreuses pauses permettent de souffler et on ne voit pas passer les 4 heures et les 3 différents lieux visités (Temple de Zeus, Acropole, Agora). En prime Kimon nous recommandé un restaurant fantastique. Un seul mot : MERCI. Nous recommandons ++++

Equipe professionnelle et francophone

Equipe de professionnels la sortie était pour les francophones. 4 heures d'une visite indispensable autour de l'acropole. Le système d'écouteur est indispensable pour bien entendre les explications les jours d'affluence sur le site touristique. Nous avions réservé une autre activité qui n'a pu être réalisée fautes de participants (il faut un groupe de 4 minimum). Nous avons été contactés 48 heures avant pour nous prévenir. Nous avons eu le choix d'annuler immédiatement ou d'attendre le dernier moment. Contact rapide avec des intermédiaires réactifs et francophones. Le montant de la prestation n'a pas été prélevé.

Excellente et visite enrichissante

Excellente visite de 4h avec Kimon, un vrai Google de la mythologie Grecque. Il a su nous faire voyager tout au long de cette incroyable visite. La visite permet une très bonne compréhension de l'histoire de la Grèce ainsi que celle d'Athènes, l'importance des monuments à visiter. Nous recommandons fortement cette visite pour tous ceux qui souhaitent en découvrir plus

Formidable

Nous avons fait la visite de l'acropole et petit tour d'Athènes basé sur la mythologie. Notre guide Popie parle français parfaitement. C'est un puit de savoir et une passionnée passionnante. La visite a duré 4h30, plus longtemps que prévu, mais c'était tellement bien raconté qu'on ne se serait jamais arrêté. Merci beaucoup à Popie. Ce fut un plaisir.

Très bonne expérience

Notre guide avait une très grande connaissance de son sujet: Athènes et la mythologie. Visite très intéressante que nous n'aurions pas faite sans elle. Quelques éléments (ludiques ou plus simples à comprendre) auraient pu être ajoutés pour captiver l'attention des enfants les plus jeunes . A part cela, rien à dire. Je recommande cette visite.
