Great Private Tour!

This was a great tour. I liked this private tour because we were able to spend as much or as little time at each site as we liked. Ruslan was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

1st time in Athens

This is our 1st visit to Athens and we knew there was so much to see. Ruslan was our guide. He arrived early to our hotel and was so kind, friendly and informative. He spent the day showing us all the wonderful sights and giving us the history behind it all. He allowed us to stop and take photos and gave recommendations on things to eat and places to go while visiting Athens. I would highly recommend this tour if visiting Athens and you want to sightsee and make the most of your day with an amazing guide. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun and informative

Service was excellent and very informative. Hit all the major sites that we wanted to see in Athens. There was a heat wave so it was nice to have to air conditioned car between visits. Highly recommend

Periklis was a terrific guide. He is very friendly. He provided us with historical facts as well as present days development of Greece. We fully enjoyed the tour.

Family reunion in Athens.

Ruslan was a fantastic guide. He has extensive knowledge about the history of Athens and the surrounding area. He is extremely personable and adapted the day to meet all our needs. He will allow you the time to visit any locations you wish. Make sure you purchase a combo ticket when you set your day plan as this will allow you into many attractions without line ups. We were travelling with our 24 and 25 year old son and daughter and they were entertained and enjoyed his information greatly as well. A perfect way to see Athens in a day.

Great day in Athens!

Our driver Michael was awesome! He was our driver in Athens on May 14. He is very knowledgeable of the area and pointed out many interesting facts. We had tickets to a few major attractions ( purchased ahead of time, which I strongly suggest) and he told us all about them before we entered. He was right there waiting for us at the designated meeting spot when we were done- got us to every place before the crowds! Beside being kind, courteous and fun , he is an excellent driver! Traffic can get a bit busy in Athens and he maneuvered the streets like a pro. The car was very clean and comfortable and he also had water and a snack for us! Gave us a great restaurant suggestion as well as to where to walk around and explore the city! Michael showed us a wonderful day in beautiful Athens!

Take this tour with Ruslan and you won't regret it!

My husband and I took this tour during our cruise vacation. Ruslan was an excellent tour guide and shared lots of history with us. If you want to see the major things in Athens this is the way to do it! Navigating the streets of Athens would have been a nightmare for us! Ruslan never got stuck in too much traffic because he knows his way around the city. We saw everything in the time allotted.

Well worth it!

Our guide, Ruslan, was great. He was right on time and got us to all of the places we wanted to see. I would not have wanted to navigate that driving! He was very friendly and shared his knowledge on the places we were visiting as well as chatting about other topics. He did a fantastic job and we were very pleased with this tour. If you want to see all of the major ruins in Athens, this is the tour to book.

Amazing tour of Athens

Ruslan was an amazing tour guide , he was very knowledgeable and is passionate about the history! We loved him so much we wanted another tour!

Informative, easy, comfortable

We had an amazing half day tour with Ruslan. He picked up me and my husband from our hotel around 10 am in a comfortable, air conditioned car, and then we started our day. We literally saw all of the highlights of Athens in a short amount of time. Ruslan was knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. We definitely recommend!

Anthens in a few hours

Picked up right outside the cruise terminal in luxury air conditioned car with fresh water on board. Saw all the great sight and ate at local spot near Angora. Konstantinos was an awesome guide!

Athens 5h tour

Pericles is the best! He showed us Athens in and out, knew all shortcuts to avoid crowds, and shared interesting insights and stories about the city. If you are looking for an around tour of Athens this is it!

What a fabulous tour of Athens!

George was a fabulous tour guide!!! He knew so much about his city (history, economics, politics, religion, etc.). He took us places I would never have gone to on my own. He went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the tour: 1) Walked us to the Acropolis entrance; 2) Opened the back left door to ensure we were safe when exiting the car on city streets; 3) Had ice water for us on the tour; and 4) Stopped by an orthopedic store for a knee brace, etc. My daughter is honeymooning in Greece next year. George did such a fabulous job, so I asked him for his business card so my daughter can enjoy the tour with him too!

Awesome tour

Ruslan was an amazing tour guide. The 1/2 day was filled with stops and tons of historical knowledge. English was Excellent! Highly recommend tours with Ruslan… we already booked our next one with him!

Good way to get to the sights in Athens

It was helpful having a private van and driver to take us to the various sights. He explained what we could see at the sights and then dropped us off. Unlike our other private tours on our vacation, he didn’t come into the sights with us so we had to learn/explore on our own. We missed having someone walk the sites with us to tell us what we were seeing. He did a good job getting us from place to place and gave us post cards of some of the places at the end. If you just want some to give information and drive you around, this is a great way to do it (I wouldn’t want to have to drive there). He did drop us off right at the sight entrances.

Viva Konstantinos

We are definitely returning to Athens. Had only one day in this city & fortunate to have Konstantinos as our guide. Points of interests ranged from historic to trivia. Great day in Athens!

We had a great experience with our driver Nick! He arrived early, great communication, and took us on the best route to hit all the sites. He was very informative and friendly, giving us a great experience of Athens in 5 hours. Highly recommended this tour for anyone that wants a relaxing yet full experience of Athens!

Private Athens Tour

We had a great tour with Periklis. He was very knowledgeable. It was a great way to see the sites and get familiar with the area. Although he doesn’t go in the sites with you, he gives you a lot of information before you go in. We were then able to go at our own pace. We would definitely recommend him.

What an enjoyable time! Periklis was our tour guide. Loved all that he shared about the city and the sites. He did an amazing time guiding us through all the streets even the narrow ones. Very informative and thought through. We were really happy that this was a private tour with only myself and my friend.

It was an absolutely pleasure having Ruslan guide us through the sights of Athens. He was extremely knowledgeable, very polite and a fine communicator. He was extremely professional in presentation and appearance. His vehicle was a cool, spotless haven from the mid-day sun. I would highly recommend this tour and guide to anyone visiting Athens for the first time.

Don’t Miss this Experience

Fantastic experience. Our private tour guide, Periklis, was very knowledgeable about everything “Greece”. We would definitely book with them again. The sites were unforgettable, and must sees. Periklis, went above & beyond. We needed a special drop off and luggage accommodations, and they were able to do it. We didn’t purchase the tickets needed to take the tour, the tour company went above and beyond and was able to purchase them for us (our fault) and we paid them back. Don’t miss this private tour company. He arrived 5 minutes early and made sure we didn’t need anything before started the tour. We even were able to eat some awesome authentic food. Thank you for a memorable time.

Leave the driving to them!

Arrived 2-days ahead of cruise departure and wanted to hit the ground running. Ruslan picked us up promptly at 10:30 a.m. from the early morning arrival at the airport from the states w/ “ Who wants some coffee?”. From that point on he took care of us and kept us awake and engaged as we toured the highlights of Athens for the hours prior to us being able to access our accommodations. Great history, great conversations and he went over and above to make us comfortable. Delighted we booked this. Highly recommend

Great relaxing tour of the key sites!

We took the private tour with Ruslan as we only had 1 day in Athens and it was perfect for our needs. First of all - he navigated the city (and traffic) expertly! We got to see the major sites with ease and enjoyed his very thorough knowledge of the history and sites… my husband who is quite knowledgeable himself having studied Greek values his expertise! Great professional service

Absolutely phenomenal! We were in awe at the knowledge and experience of Ruslan, our driver. He was absolutely pleasant, attentive, adaptable to schedule changes and giving us great advice. His car was spotless. Professional all the way around.

Not as described

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but the Viator description did NOT match the tour. We were not provided waters on the tour and we were not told that we could not get into see the Acropolis without having advanced reservations.

Perfect way to experience Athens

Perfect way to see all of the highlights of Athens! Ruslan was our driver and he was wonderful! He was so helpful and informative. He showed us places we would not have known about otherwise. We were picked up from the cruise terminal and at the end of the tour dropped off at the door of our Airbnb! I highly recommend this experience.

Athens highlights & Acropolis

Periklis is a great guide with a good depth of historic and contemporary Greek history. He was patient with us as we had to switch dates due to Greek Labor Holiday and gave us good guidance. Not only is a terrific driver, he is also great company…

Awesome very personal friendly guide

Very pleased with our 5 hour private tour guide. We experienced all the main attractions and the afternoon had a nice pace to it. Completely enjoyable with our two college age kids. Would certainly recommend this tour in Athens.

Michael was wonderful!! He arrived early to pick us up. He was knowledgeable, professional and passionate about his history. His English was lovely. We took pictures with him and would not hesitate to contact him again.

Great way to maximize your day of site seeing

Great way to tour the city and see so much! My husband and I did make the mistake of forgetting to get our Akropolis tickets until early that morning and apparently for the last year, you must reserve your 1 hour time slot for entry in advance (to help control the crowds). We did manage to get a ticket for noon so we adjusted the morning and he dropped us there last. He had water for us and explained the history and shared many stories with us as we drove between the different places. It was so convenient to have a car to get back into in between sites. Getting to see the changing of the guard in front of the presidential palace was very cool and something we wouldn’t have seen on our own without our guide!

A very comfortable and relaxing tour with a very knowledgeable driver/guide

Kostas was a great and very knowledgeable guide and also extremely helpful. During our tour , he took us to different highlights and explained to us all the details of different historical facts inside the very luxurious and clean Mercedes van. He also bought the entrance tickets for us online since we didn’t pre bought the entrance tickets. He took us to lunch during the tour. All in all , it was a very pleasant experience. The only drawback was the fact that he didn’t accompany us into each facility.

Wonderful experience with Periklis - I would strongly recommend.

I have just returned from a visit to Athens with my mother (80 years) and a young friend (13 years) with some mobility issues. Periklis collected us promptly at our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes taxi and gave us a very friendly and informative tour, lasting 5 hours. Periklis was able to judge the walking capability of our young friend and my mother - and recommend how we could safely and comfortably visit the sites. We were able to choose our own timing and interests for many of the locations. At the end of the tour, Periklis dropped us off at a restaurant of our choice, near to our hotel. We subsequently asked him to take us shopping and back to the airport, later in the week, which again, worked very well. I would certainly recommend using Colours of Greece for a comprehensive tour of Athens and the surrounding areas - and I am likely to use the company again. Worth the extra money!!!!!

This was well worth the money! We received front door service at our hotel. It was nice to be able to visit the attractions at our pace instead of being with a group. We ended up getting done with some stuff early so we were able to see the changing of the guard which was a neat extra. We got great souvenirs from a shore right by the Acropolis. My favorite was the Olympic stadium! Definitely book with them. Our driver was amazing. My husband lost his card but I really wanted to recognize him. He talked sports with my husband which added a personal touch.

A fabulous tour with Constantine

From the moment we met Constantine I knew straightaway we were going to have a fabulous time and we weren’t disappointed, Constantine has a real grasp of what people want to see and this was identified with the places he took us to, he ensured we knew what to expect about the tour and his knowledge and experience was second to none, he took us to all the sites and made sure we had all the information and facts before we looked around, there was no rush either, we were simply allowed to enjoy ourselves and not feel pressured to keep to a timeline, we both had a fantastic time and I believe that was down to Constantine who you can tell loves his job and his city, thank you sir for a truly memorable day and one that will live long in our memories.

Fantastic Day in Athens

The best city tour we have ever done. Only in Athens for a short visit and decided to go for this option. Driver/Guide (Ruslan) was incredible and looked after us so well. His passion and knowledge of the city and history of Greece was captivating. Worth every euro👍

Worth the Extra Cost

Ruslan knew his way around the city and timed our arrival at major sights to avoid crowds. We managed to see much more in half a day than we would have in two days on our own. His commentary on Athenian history and culture filled provided a lot of information we were lacking. He even helped correct some misconceptions we had prior to our tour. We really appreciated the pick up at our hotel and drop off at the cruise terminal. It made our last day in Athens much easier.
