After lots of research, I chose Dora’s Walks for two days of private tours in Athens for our family of three. Our guide, Vasso, was fantastic. Trained as an archeologist, Vasso gave us insightful context for the history, architecture and culture of Greece in its Golden Age and beyond. We highly recommend this tour company!

Absolutely amazing tour with George as our driver and guide! My best friends and I had an incredible day exploring the beautiful sites of Athens and learning about its rich history. George went above and beyond by taking us to a local restaurant where we were spoiled with delicious food and drinks. All five of us had the time of our lives, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!

Athens Limo Best of the Best!

Our tour guide through Athens Limo was SPECTACULAR! The amount of training the tour guides must go through is extremely intensive and it showed. She was extremely well-versed in the history of ancient Athens, very professional, and very patient as we took hundreds and hundreds of pictures of the amazing views! We truly felt like we were her priority the entire day. And, her English was impeccable! If ever, we go back to Athens, we will most certainly retain the services of Athans Limo again for future tours!

They take care of details

Easy pick up at port. George our driver was professional and knowledgeable. He took us to hot spots in Athens and the shopping for sandals I requested. George assisted in making arrangements for our lunch. All was as advertised, was a perfect excursion. We were treated very nicely and our expectations fully met. Only hiccup was there was an extra fee for drop off at hotel at airport. The company did tell up front about fee but payment was expected in euros (cash)not charged to credit card so that misunderstanding of directions was unfortunate.

Do not skip this trip

You will not regret booking this company. We had 11 people in our group our driver was knowledgeable and passionate about Athens. He mad the whole trip. We have us local spots to eat and visit as well as the vast history of Athena. We loved it And when we return we will rebook

I contacted Athens Tours for assistance with transportation needs and a tour guide for our group of 16 guests. Dionisis was very professional in setting up the arrangements for us and clearly communicated with us via email all that we needed to know and do to prepare for our group. Our tour guide George was excellent. He was able to customize our tour to see and do exactly what we wanted to do. He picked us up at the port, kept our luggage safe in the van, and dropped us off at the airport! He gave us suggestions for coffee, lunch and how to see the best sights in a short amount of time. He was very knowledgeable and provided interesting facts and information.

Jewish Heritage Private tour of Athens

We were looking for a custom private tour in Athens that included the Jewish museum, synagogues and Holocaust memorial, as well as history of the Athenian Jewish community as well as all the main historical sites. We were very impressed with our one day adventure with our driver George and our very knowledgeable tour guide Deena. Deena has a great knowledge of Jewish history and culture and is very nice and and fun to spend a day with. If Jewish history is on you list, Deena is the guide to request. George even drove to the most incredible lookout over the city, something not accessible by bus. Not only did they somehow fit all the sites into one day, but also recommended a wonderful local spot for a very reasonable and most delicious lunch. I would use them again!

I used Athens Limo for pickup from the airport, an all-day private tour, and a drop off at the cruise port in Piraeus. Everything went as planned. We booked this company for a private full day tour of Athens on the hottest day of the year. We were skeptical at first since this company didn’t have as many reviews as other touring companies on Trip Advisor website but we were glad that we did. Our driver George met us at the cruise port with my name, especially there were other drivers waiting to greet their guests. George was courteously zipped my family of 4 to the Acropolis and spent the entire day shuttle us around to various site seeing places. Along the way, he provided cold water and had a cold car waiting for us to return to. Thank you for your service. And we will definitely use this company again when we visit Greece. Again thank you!

John was an amazing guide who took us to all the important parts of Athens. He treated us like family and we truly enjoyed our trip. The van was comfortable and John's driving was excellent.

Without hesitation, I will recommend their services to my discerning clients visiting Greece. I had the opportunity to spend a day exploring Athens on a private tour with my dad and his partner. I have been to Athens on many occasions so I am quite familiar with the sights and layout. Because my father is 83-years old and walks a bit slower, I was very specific about not being rushed through the sites. Athens Limo provided the best guide in Athens, Efi. She has deep knowledge of Greek Mythology and was so patient with our slower pace. She never rushed us and always found shade for us to rest when my dad needed. Communication with the company was always punctual and informative leading up to our tour. We arrived in port on a Windstar cruise and the guide and driver met us promptly at the designated time - with a warm smile. Our trip was over 3-weeks and involved many different tours throughout Greece, Turkey, Italy, and Dubai. Athens Limo provided the best tour of our entire vacation! Amazing tour of Athens in a day!

This was a wonderful tour, even though we were in Athens during the heatwave! Our driver/guide was John and he was amazing!! We saw and did way more than I thought was possible in a day. During the hottest time of the day, he arranged for us to go to the museum which was air conditioned. Great way to end our tour. If you book this tour, you will not be sorry, especially if John is your tour guide.

A great afternoon in Athens with a great guide

John was amazing. He treated us like long-time friends while showing us the best of Athens in a very comfortable (it was HOT outside) and safe van. We learned so much and had fantastic conversations as he shared his city with us. When we return to Athens, we will definitely re-book with John. Top Noth, Do Not Hesitate

I discovered this amazing company on TripAdvisor in December 2022. We planned a very short 2 night stay in Athens prior to flying to Egypt. Dionisis was amazing with corresponding and despite the 10 hour time difference, I always had a response in less than 24 hours. We were able to fully customize our tour, add and detract places we wanted to see. Our driver, Michael was great and there is no way I would ever been willing to dream of driving on some of the narrow roads he maneuvered us in! I did hire a private tour guide/archeologist (Nia) through Athens Limos. She was funny, took great photos of us, and helped my 13 year old boy really appreciate and enjoy this trip. I would never hesitate to book any tour through Athens Limo Tours. (If you book, try to get to Cape Sounio to see Poseidon's temple and fabulous views of the coast and seaside villages.

Best way to visit Athens and very reliable transportation.

We enjoyed pretty much our tour in Athens, Acropolis, Zeus Temple, the Trinity and Plaka. Our driver was polite, the van was very comfortable and clean. A huge plus was the fact our driver took us first to get the Acropolis tickets to Zeus Temple, which allowed us to go directly to the Acropolis avoiding making a huge line at the Acropolis. We loved watching the guard change at the Goverment Palace. He picked up all on time from the port and the time coordination for the pick up from the Plaka was pretty accurate. Highly recommend his services as we consider him to be highly dependable.

Working with Athens Limo was easy and quick. They answered all my questions and followed-up promptly. Our tour guide was great too, she was super-knowledgeable and friendly!

Stupid not to book them. Don't second guess it!

Worth it!! Vassilis was our driver. Very respectful, clean, knowledgeable and attentive to all our requests and needs on this trip. He made the tour so comfortable and seemless especially with 3 young children. He explained and educated us on many different parts of the tour. Will def book a similar tour trip on our next visit.

Cruise transfer + tour is much less than a cruise ship transfer

I actually booked a private transfer from Piraeus cruise port to central Athens. Our cruise line wanted to charge 40 euro pp whereas I could book Athens Limo for 60% less so I decided to include the 1/2 day tour of Athens. We actually saw so much in 3 hours that we shortened the trip by an hour but overall very happy with the experience and our driver.

Great for business and leisure

We booked the services of Athens Limo Tours for our business partners in June 2022. Everything worked out great, service provider was very attentive to all our requests, very responsive and arranged the sightseeing tour in a best possible way. The vehicle was big enough, comfortable, with aircon, the guided part of the tour was in excellent English. Our guests were very happy and thus were we.

EXCELLENT private Athens day tour

I cannot recommend this company more highly. From the first moment I contacted them, they were very quickly responsive and were able to arrange a private day tour for my family in only a few short days notice. Nia was our guide who is an archaeologist and historian, so basically we could not have had a more qualified guide. Not only was she knowledgable, but she was kind, cheerful, fun to be around and offered great suggestions for places to eat and shop after our tour. Additionally, she was receptive to the older family members of our group and arranged for closer car drop off and even brought walking sticks for them for day 2. Nia made our Athens trip truly memorable, knowledgable and I basically just want to be her friend! :) You cannot go wrong booking this company. I will recommend them to all my friends and family and absolutely use them again.

Day trip round Athens and the Acropolis

Limos were clean, modern and high end. We had 8 of us in the Mercedes Buses and all fit comfortably. Drivers were very professional, excellent driving, good English and knowledgeable about the city. The tour guide (Theodora) provided was amazing and we learned so much about the history of Athens. We were ages 15-81. Definitely would book again.

Private driver-several times in Athens.

We had them pick us up from the airport at 8:00am bring our bags to betel abs then we headed out for a full day tour knowing our room would bit be ready until 3:00. We saw all the best spots and our driver was exceptional. We then had him pick us up to bring us to the cruise terminal and lastly had them pick us up at the cruise terminal to bring us to the airport. They were professional on time and easy to find and the Mercedes vans were excellent. Highly recommend!!

We had the best experience in Athens . Thanks to Dionisis and our tour guide Effie. My aunt who uses a walker was able to go up to Parthenon through the elevator which was arranged. We followed covid protocols so we feel safe as we discover Athens. Highly recommend

Our friends arrange everrything. Our driver was Aris, who made our day much better for sure. Strongly reccomended these guys, so professional, polite, and nice people. We were so happy to had him, that he was part of Athens too. He took us to a greek restaurant, stayed with us all the time, we had such a great day !!!

Excellent tour

Our group of five had an outstanding experience during our private full day tour of Athens. Planning the tour was exceptionally simple with prompt, friendly communication with Dionisis via email and WhatsApp. Our driver, Michael, and guide, Nicholas, met us promptly at the cruise port in Piraeus at 07:30. Michael is a wonderfully skilled and friendly driver. Nicholas led our tour with obvious passion for history. He brought Ancient Greek history to life, without overwhelming us. Special commendation should go to Dionisis, Michael, and Nicholas for their planning and accommodation of my use of a manual, collapsible wheelchair. The immaculately clean Mercedes minivan was not wheelchair accessible. However, I am able to transfer into the van with assistance. The day of our tour was extremely windy, thus preventing use of the elevator attached to the side of the Acropolis. My family continued on the tour while I waited at a beautiful location overlooking the ruins. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, and complements the visit to the Acropolis. This should not be missed. Our authentic and delicious Greek lunch was at a small restaurant away from the crowds at the Acropolis. My wheelchair fit without difficulties. The bathroom is downstairs. Thus, make sure to use the modern, accessible facilities at the Acropolis Museum before lunch. Our tour continued after lunch. We drove by the Olympic Stadium from the late 1800s, and then visited the Temple of Zeus. Tickets for me were complementary throughout the tour because of my disability. I would recommend having a letter from your doctor indicating your level of disability when traveling in Europe, although I did not need to show mine. Having a knowledgeable driver and guide were essential in Athens because of various protests that were blocking certain roads in the city. We were able to avoid the obstacles. Our tour was indeed a full day (about 8-9 hours), and we arrived at the port about 16:30. We paid Michael and Nicholas in cash (Euros) which we had withdrawn from the ATM by the ticket counter at the Acropolis. In summary, our group highly recommends Athens Limo Tours, and would not hesitate to call upon their services on future trips. I should emphasize that our tour worked beautifully for me as someone with limited walking ability who uses a collapsible, manual wheelchair. Ability to transfer with assistance into and out of the minivan is essential. This minivan is not a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Significant research compared Cruise Excursion options with our private tour. We are splendidly pleased with the multitude of variables considered prior to choosing Athens Limo Tours. Flexible through the most important sights of Athens

Arranging the pick-up location and time via email worked very well. Our guide had a plan of what he wanted to show us and how we could do it all. It was as described in the advert. We had additional requests. He fulfilled these too. He showed us everything important in Athens and we had enough time to look at it and take photos. And at the end, as a highlight, he showed us the Acropolis at sunset from the mountain opposite. Gigantic!
