I had the pleasure of working with Ellie, who was exceptional. She provided clear, step-by-step explanations and was a delight to converse with. Initially, I was anxious as I hadn't been swimming since I was 12, but Ellie's guidance completely alleviated my nervousness. Her expertise and demeanour were truly commendable. -wahe:)

Unforgettable experience!

We had a fantastic time for our first time scuba diving - our instructor was super patient with us while we got used to all the equipment and get comfortable before going deeper into the water and once we were in it was epic! Would absolutely go again and I’m so pleased our first experience of diving was in the ocean with so much to see! Amazing experience…highly recommend

Our 14yr old son and I had an amazing experience with this experience. Elle (our scuba diving instructor) was very friendly and professional making the experience memorable. Highly recommend this to anyone even without any prior scuba diving experience. Thank you Elle and George.

Minor improvements would make a big difference

It was a pretty good experience actually diving and our guide Nick was good. But the scheduling, preparation, and communication leave something to be desired. We booked weeks in advance but weren’t told we had to do online pre-training until about 48 hours in advance. When we did them, they kept telling us they hadn’t received them even though it was clear we had completed it. When we arrived, we were picked up to then drive for 45 minutes to collect gear (which we provided information on sizing for in advance as well) and then drove another 45 minutes to the dive site. The site itself was nice and easy to get to with clear waters, although there weren’t really any fish or anything much to see. The most upsetting part was that we brought a waterproof camera but were advised that their GoPro would take better photos so they’d take theirs along and send us the photos. Nick, our dive guide, took several through the guide for us. I asked several times for the photos and never received them - they finally responded and said they looked but didn’t see our photos. This was a really special first time experience to share as a family and it’s so upsetting that they didn’t even bother to tell us that something happened. Overall, I’m glad we went but it could have been such a better experience in several key ways.

A great first time experience

A very good first time diving experience. It's moved me to potentially making scuba diving a hobby. The water was crystal clear, and my instructor was very helpful, friendly, and informative. My one issue is that since this was a discover dive, my instructor was not able to take pictures underwater, since she had to keep her attention on me. The description in this booking can be a bit misleading, since it promises pictures. However it's such a small issue since I'll definitely be doing this again, and no picture could capture the beauty I saw down there anyway.

Amazing beginners experience and truly authentic approach

Evan was a very friendly instructor who made our first diving experience unique and unforgettable. He showed us the beauty of the life underwater and had a very authentic approach in making it a real fun excursion. Most importantly, he was very calm in the water and made sure we were doing okay at all times, which made our first-time experience safe and relaxed. We really appreciate how the trip felt neither rushed nor routine, as Evan seemed to have enough time to make sure we had a good time. His banoffee caramel ice cream recommendation to finish our excursion was the cherry on top of a wonderful morning by the sea :)

BEST Scuba diving adventure for beginners

We were in Athens this summer in August and we decided to try scuba diving for the first time. This was by far the highlight of our trip, especially since it was our first time attempting to scuba dive. Extreme divers tour did everything well, I cannot say enough about this tour, George our instructor and guide was brilliant: Both George and his brother did everything to make sure we were train properly and more important that we would experience a very cool adventure. I highly recommend Extreme divers to any one and I am planning to use them again next year once I go back to Athens.

Excellent programs, very safe and friendly – I would highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I booked the Discover Scuba Class, as we have both never been Scuba Diving before and wanted to try something new. The owner/instructor (George) was excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very safe under his supervision. George picked up/dropped us off from our hotel (at no extra cost), He brought snacks along to the dive site to enjoy after our dive. He locked our valuables in his shop on the way to the dive site. He brought his GoPro along to take photos, which he shares at no extra cost. To sum up, they really go the extra mile!

My mother is 74 years old and had never been diving before. George was extremely friendly and helpful and helped make it a wonderful experience for her. He is welcomed to visit us in Atlanta anytime

Scuba for beginners in Athens

Extreme Diving was amazing! A family owned business, these guys were fantastic! From the pick up to the drop off! My son (15) had never been driving and I needed a refresher. I can’t say enough great things about these guys, can’t wait to return to Athens for another dive!

Sto facendo un roadtrip con il mio fidanzato e ci siamo ritrovati ad Atene con la voglia di prendere la certificazione PADI. Abbiamo trovato su internet Extreme Divers e dopo aver letto le varie recensioni abbiamo deciso di iscriverci qui. Sin dal primo momento abbiamo avuto un'impressione super positiva. Il nostro istruttore, Evan, è stato sempre disponibile, ci ha spiegato ogni cosa nei minimi dettagli e ci ha fatto fare delle immersioni veramente strepitose! Inoltre, ci ha anche fatto foto e video con la GoPro che ci ha subito mandato per email. È stata un'esperienza favolosa. Se vi trovate ad Atene e avete voglia di fare un'immersione, dovete assolutamente andare all'Extreme Divers!

Τα παιδιά πολύ φιλικά και εξυπηρετικά μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή και βοήθησαν στο να απολαύσουμε τη βόλτα με το σκάφος και στη συνέχεια την κατάδυση! George 非常的耐心教導我這個一次都沒有潜過水的人。在他的幫助下我對於潜水沒那麼害怕了！如果你沒有潜水過，可以試試看這個：） 潜完水我跟著他去了半天的tour，沿路上他帶我去吃了非常道地的冰淇淋和食物，也跟我說了很多當地的歷史和故事。整個參觀體驗非常有趣。
