LOVED our experience with Athens Photo Tour

This walking photo tour was incredible! I book photos every time my husband and I travel just the two of us and this was by far my favorite we’ve done yet. Our photographer, Panos, was so kind and knowledgeable of the city. This made for both beautiful photos and a great learning experience our first time here in Athens!

Surprise proposal

My fiancé organised a secret proposal with Dimitris and we couldn’t be any happier. The location was easy to find thanks to Dimitris step by step, easy guide. It was our first photo shooting together and Dimitris guided on what to do with a very friendly manner. He also suggested places to eat and visit. We received a couple of photos on the same day and the rest 2 days later.

The experience was fantastic! The team took very good care of me and my family. I took pictures in the flying dress and then with my husband and son. My advice, book your photo shoot as soon as possible. You will be very pleased!

Dimitris was awesome. We’ve done travel photography with a few people, and he was one of the best we’ve worked with. First, bus transportation was a problem, and he was understanding when we called to tell him we would be late. He waited for us and started immediately when we got there. He took us around the perimeter of the Acropolis and knew all the best photo spots. When we got our photos, we loved them. He takes great shots and makes you feel comfortable while doing so. His instructions were easy to follow and he was not pushy. We’re also very excited about his edits. Overall, this was a great experience, and I truly recommend this to anyone looking for professional photography in Athens.

Highly recommended! I went on this photo shoot tour on 23/10 and already received the gallery link few days after. I went solo but felt very comfortable. My photographer is Panos and he made me looked like a model. The spots we went were really nice area of Plaka and around Acropolis. Panos was very professional as he briefly explained about the area and guide me how to pose and he would know what would be best angle and where are best spots to take a shot. Don’t waste your time wandering by yourself, book this professional one so you can have memorable photos.

Great team- AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Amazing experience! Panos and Bobby were very kind and easy to work with. They met us in a easy to find part of Athens and guided us through several parts of town. Gave us details about Athens and pointed out several relics along the way. Panos was our main photographer and took his time insuring great photos and poses. He took individual shots as well. Panos was very friendly and encouraging as he showed us where and how to stand. Bobby was assisting as well, and carried our belongings so they were safe and out of the shots. They both ensured our safety while with them. The final location for pictures was occupied so, Panos took extra time with us to ensure that we could get the pictures we wanted of the Acropolis at sunset. Overall a VERY amazing experience and a great team to work with. I highly recommend them for anyone getting couples photos.

Athens, Greece June 2022

We had an amazing photo shoot with Dimitri on June 03rd 2022. We just came home from Athens, Greece and we are loving all of the beautiful pictures. This is not the 1st time we have used Dimitri's company. We also did a photo shoot in Athens a couple of years ago too and they were just as beautiful. When you go on vacation somewhere it's not easy to capture couple photos without stopping people to take your photo and you never get the quality you do with a professional photographer. At the end of the day it's about the memories you make and capture with professional photos that last a lifetime. Thanks, Until the next vacation photo shoot.

The most amazing experience! We had engagement photos taken + an engagement photo shoot the day after. Both were tremendous experiences and Dimitris was incredibly professional and so easy to work with and talk to throughout the shoot. The photos all came out amazing! Beautifully shoot and very unique. He chose amazing background scenery in all photos and obviously has a perfect eye for where / how to stand. I cannot recommend this service enough. My fiancé and I loved interacting with Dimitris and his instructors for each photo were easily followed (and again—they came out amazing). If you plan a proposal (ours was on a gorgeous hill overlooking the Acropolis, as recommended by Dimitris) or just a regular photo shoot with a significant other or friends/ solo, i cannot recommended this service enough!! I originally scheduled a photo shoot with someone else on airbnb and they cancelled on me last minute but thankfully I was able to find Dimitris. Takis did my photo shoot and he is an actual photographer who told me how to pose and fixed my hair and clothes to make sure my pictures were perfect. He was very nice and asked me what kinds of pictures I wanted. I just finished the photoshoot so I havent gotten the pictures back yet but he showed me some previews on his camera and they looked amazing I am updating my review because I just got the photos back (2 days) and they are way better than Ithought they would be. Listen to Takis, he knows what he is doing. I'm not use to getting my picture taken often and so some of the poses seemed awkward to me but they turned out amazing. A GREAT Experience

My SO and I found Dimitris through a google search as we were looking for a photographer to take some maternity photos for us during my visit to Greece. He got back to us very quickly to set up a shoot and even worked with us after having to do a same day reschedule and being late during our time slot due to unexpected traffic once we were finally able to take the photos. He even brought along a videographer to make our moment really special. I truly enjoyed the experience and also learning the history of the photos sites we visited as we walked through Athens with him. We got our photos back quickly and they are absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend him to anyone living or just visiting Greece who would like to have some memorable and beautiful photos to take home with them. We look forward to using him again in the future.

Super friendly photographer

We were lucky to get Dimosthensis as our photographer for one hour photo session in Oia(Santorini). It was last minute booking through Athen photo tour by phone. The staff was very efficient and helpful to arrange a photographer for us even one hour before the photo session. We just need to communicate by whatsapp, and we were given the photographer's whatsapp and he appeared to our hotel on time even in short notice. Our photographer Dimosthensis Christopoulos was so friendly and enthusiastic, We can sense that he is really professional, he does the job with passion, We love all his photos and we highly recommend Dimosthensis if you are looking for a photographer in Santorini. Great photos by The Athens Photographer

Absolutely loved all my photos that Dimitris took. It was a pleasure working together. He took me to various locations with stunning views to capture the best shots. I wouldn't have found these places on my own. If you find yourself in Greece, and are looking for a photographer look no further. I'm looking forward to visiting Greece again, and when I do I most definitely with be working with Dimitris again.

Best Athens Walking Tour - but prepare for some Walking!

This was the best use of my time to see as many of the significant sites in Athens and be able to photograph them in a very short window of time. I opted to do the 8-hour walking tour and it did not disappoint. We actually saw many more sites than I expected and with the exception of not going into any museums (I could do that on a separate day), we walked over 24,000 steps, (~10mi/14km) and visited all the spots I had on my list and then some!

Athens at its best!

My husband and I joined Dimitris for three photo tours (Athens City, Sunrise, and Night Tours) in Athens. We were amazed at the spots he took us to have the best views of the city! We certainly wouldn’t have known to go there by ourselves and avoided some of the crowds. We enjoyed the walks, a bit of history, and the photography tips Dimitris shared with us. He is very professional. We had good email communications before the tours. And during the tours, he gave us good recommendations for local restaurants and other places to visits. Dimitris was always punctual and courteous. We were very happy to have him showed us his city.

Perfect

We did a private photo tour of Athens with Dimitris. Overall, it was perfect. Dimitris made us feel comfortable while taking our photos - I must say these are the best photos of ourselves and ones that we will cherish forever. Dimitris took us to some of the most picturesque streets and alleys in Athens, which you wont normally get to see in typical guided tours. He also gave us recommendations of decent restaurants and shops, which are quite useful. I highly recommend Dimitris as your personal photographer as he is simply the best.

Incredible photographer!

Dimitris was such a friendly and professional photographer! We had waited until the very last minute to book a honeymoon photoshoot, and he was extremely flexible with us. He met us at a local cafe in Oia, and he guided us through the most romantic and picturesque areas so he could capture some shots. Dimitris is also very knowledgeable about directing his clients with natural poses; my husband and I felt at ease the entire time during our hour-long photoshoot. All of the photos came out so beautiful, and we are so thankful for Dimitris; he's captured so many amazing pictures of our first vacation as a married couple. Also, he got our photos to us in a DAY! Seriously, such a fast turnaround time. We are so impressed and we cannot thank you enough. Also, we were honored to snap a selfie with him afterwards. :) Thank you, Dimitris! Great way to see and photograph Athens. I loved it!

I went with Athens Photo Tour for two sessions on the same day. A sunrise session focused on the Acropolis, and a sunset tour that covered most of the key antiquity sites. My guide was Takis. We had two great sessions, I enjoyed it, learned, and found some great shots. Takis was a pleasure to spend the day with. He knows all the sites and angles, and a bit of history too. I had a great day with him, and definitely recommend Athens Photo Tour!!

Couples Photography

We were so happy that Theo was able to capture our moments in Athens! I was so happy when Dimitris Giouvris Photography were able to book a session with us! Our photographer guided us through the backstreets of Athens in the rain and wind to help us take beautiful anniversary pics during our time in Athens. He carried my purse .. held my shoes ..while it slightly rained .. with a smile on his face. THEO was great ! Fun first day in Athens

I'm really glad that I scheduled this for my first day in Athens. This was a really fun experience. Dimitris was kind enough to let my boyfriend tag along. I'm glad he showed me all the great places along and around the Acropolis. He even gave us some suggestions for the remainder of our travels around Greece. On top of all that, the photos came out fantastic. This is a MUST DO experience in Athens.

Dimitris is brilliant!

Dimitris is an awesome friendly guy and his photo shoot is very well thought out. He takes you to picturesque small alleys and streets you probably would not have found yourself all the while talking about the area's history and chatting with you. He is a photography pro and guides you when taking your photos to make sure you look good in them. I usually look "weird" in the photos, but now I know it's not me - it's my friends' bad photography skills haha :) The photos turned out amazing and I couldn't be happier with them. If you're looking for a nice memory from Athens I can't recommend Dimitris' photo shoot enough!

Beautiful Photographs

Dimitris is a great guy and an amazing photographer! The session was very pleasant and Dimitris was very welcoming and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. He knew the best picturesque spots in Athens and ran everything very smoothly and efficiently without it feeling rushed. I'm a little awkward when it comes to having my photos taken but Dimitris went above and beyond to make sure they came out well! The photographs are beautiful and I'm grateful to have them as a wonderful keepsake.

Dimitris is the best!

We were in Athens from July 15 to 19. It is a beautiful city and we hired Dimitris to take vacation pictures. We were a party of 5 ( 2 adults and 3 kids). Dimitris was very patient with the kids. He was very accommodating with our family which included a baby. He has a lot of knowledge. He took us to amazing locations to capture Beautiful pictures of our family. The pictures turned out beautiful. Dimitris is very talented and I highly recommend him. We are very happy with our pictures.

Best Photographer by far!!!

Photography for me is a form of art, and Dimitris is a magnificent artist!! To capture a moment in time forever is really what it is all about. We have used multiple photographers before but honestly no one can compare to Dimitris. He was so willing to compromise and although we had only booked for two hours he spent far more time with us, almost the entire day. He was so relaxed made sure we were comfortable and gave us good guidance as how to pose where to stand. Fantastic photos. A Unique Photo Shoot.

We booked our photo shoot via Viator and got a confirmation and information from the photographer, Dimitris within 24 hours. We contacted him the day before as well via the site and got a prompt response. We met at the pre arranged loacation and spent about 90 minutes walking to different locations in Athens. While walking Dimitris pointed out several things about the area, gave us lots of good advice and recommendations and shot some amazing photos. It was all very relaxed and made the shoot very comfortable for us. After we were back to our meeting point we gave him our email address and said he’d send the photos in 2-3 days. 24 hours later our gallery link was emailed and we were quite pleased with the product. If you’re look in for a wonderful souvenir from your trip, I highly recommend that you book with Dimitrus.
