Awesome tour

This tour is fantastic, it was incredibly insightful and very detailed. The tour guides were very thoughtful and responsive not to mention knowledgeable and made the tour very lively and fun despite the hot weather. Dora our lovely tour guide provided us with cold water and a scarf for those who did not wear a long skirt when visiting the monasteries. The trip is relatively long but worth it, the views were stunning. I highly recommend this tour!

The views are incredible! You can take a lot of great photos there. You'll have time to see a lot of sights and the guide is really good.

Meteora was a unique experience and one that I would highly recommend. It was very cool to see how the monitories are built up on the cliffs and how they have been there for so many years. I would recommend this tour.

A MUST day trip when in Athens.

The trip was extremely interesting and beautiful, even though a bit tiring, but worth every moment. Our local tour guide Dora and the drivers Kostas & Leonidas were very pleasant and efficient. Dora provided in such a beautiful way all the information not only regarding the tour, but also about the nice restaurant and the delicious traditional food we had for lunch. She was very accommodating, has a very pleasant personality and the tour was designed in such a way to be able to avoid crowds and have a smooth and enjoyable ride, offering multiple pick up and drop off points.

Glorious views

Glorious and picturesque. We thought we were going by train instead it was bus. It turned out just fine. Dora was wonderful and cheery!

Unique place, extraordinarily wonderful, worth the travel time from Athens. It is definitely a tour worth doing for the historical content and the views and passages to enjoy. Excellent option for a short and complete tour. I loved the tour. Everything was very well organized.we had free food at lunch time which was very delicious and fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

A must do

It was an amazing trip in an unique destination. They picked us up very close from our airbnb. The staff (George and Akis) were very kind, friendly and professional. As for the food, that was free, delicious and fresh. In general an unforgettable experience and value for money.

it was an incredible trip, with unforgettable impressions. this beauty cannot be compared with anything else. many thanks to the tour guide and our driver, who were very attentive, met us and worried about us. organization at the highest level, and simply incredible people

Advise of lateness of return transport and transport options from Athens bus terminal at night

Pick up ok. Four hour drive by mini bus as problems with train service. Eight travellers. Advised return by commercial coach. Mini bus took us to three monasteries. Driver and guide excellent. At 3pm told our departure would be 7pm so arrive Athens 11pm! All Eight travellers complained bus too late and we caught earlier bus. Downside missed caves and honey tour. Bus terminated at a bus station in north Athens at 8pm and we struggled to find way to accommodation. Finally company should not assume all travellers have mobile data, most use wifi where and when available.

Beautiful trip! Amazing scenery and great guide. Pictures do not do justice to this place, like nowhere on Earth.

Meteora Tour

This was the best tour ever with Kleoniki! We were only 4 people, we did the experience with the bee keeper and visited 2 monasteries. one was very authentic. It was well organized and with an audio in different languages. (french etc) I recommend 100%

100% worth it

This trip was an absolute JACKPOT! We were kinda lucky to be the only ones on the tour and Kleoniki and Leo offered us to fully adjust the trip to our liking. We kept everything as is to be able to enjoy honey (it was yummy!) and tsipouro. We went inside two monasteries after and went to different viewpoints for photos. Kleo was very knowledgeable and passionate about local culture and history. Also is also very much fun! Shame we didn’t stay for long in Kalabaka, there’s so much more to see in there. And to tour guides- thanks so much for the best experience we had in Greece- you guys are legends.

Don't miss this day trip

It is the best price I found on the internet. Very good service and a good value for money product. We had full info and the driver was very friendly. Although, the duration of the train was 4 hours it was lovely and we learned about the mainland Greece , which is so unique and beautiful. Kleoniki and leonidas were waiting for us there. Meoteora are one of kind. The landscape is so unique. They provided us with free water, honey and cereal bars. Kalabaka is very different and lovely!!

Nice trip!

We booked this nice trip via viator. They took us from our hotel and they provided us with our tickets. There it was a comfort bus with a lovely local guide. The guide showed us the cave of Erimitis an the pathway. We visited the monasteries and sights and also had a small lunch.We had a spare hour to explore the town and the local flea market . After that , they took us back to the station and we arrived in Athens were they headed us back to our hotel.

Great experience

Excellent tour. The travel in train is very confortable. You can have a complete lunch and dinner for only 8 euros. In Kalambaka we were taken in charge very well with a air condition coach. We visited the bee-farm and have a free degustation and honey pot. Then we visited the amazing monasteries and we have time to do so. We even had the chance to visit a third monastery. Very good experience and impressive landscapes. Very kind guide and driver. We can even come with the small dog

Actually breathtaking

Very beautiful trip, the Meteora and history behind it is very interesting and indulging. Lathe tour Guide is a very nice person and local which is always great plus. The honey tastes delicious and that's coming from a person who does not like honey. Meteora is breathtaking, the only minus is the train. Unfortunately not a something that's anyone can fix. I very much enjoyed it and I found new friends along the way.

Fantastic trip! We met the monasteries, travelled by train. Very well-organised trip from the travel agency.They gave us free snacks and water and when we got to the bee farm they offered us a free vase of honey.

GÉNIAL !!!!!

Wow c’était super !!! On voyage dans un petit van hyper confortable, neuf avec climatisation et de grandes fenêtres pour pouvoir avoir une belle vue sur la route. Nous sommes un petit groupe de 6 voyageurs donc bcp mieux que les gros cars touristiques. On voyage avec un chauffeur (Costas) et une guide (Dora). Nous avons pu manger dans un très bon restaurant local loin des touristes et ensuite, on visite les Météores avec Dora qui nous explique tout (en anglais mais vraiment facile à comprendre!), on a aussi les audios guide français qui nous permettent de mieux comprendre. On s’arrête visiter 2 monastères et on a pas mal de temps libre pour pouvoir bien les visiter, s’arrêter manger une glace ect.. Bref c’était super et Dora notre guide était géniale et adorable !!! Merci encore Dora

Es una experiencia súper chula y un sitio que hay que ver si o si si viajas a Grecia. Tanto el conductor como la guía fueron súper amables y estuvieron todo el rato pendientes de nosotros. La comida estaba muy rica también.

Very nice and interesting tour. We went to the Meteora monasteries in a minibus. The Meteora monasteries are really worth seeing. We visited 2 monasteries. Dora, our tour guide, was just great!! She accompanied us with a lot of knowledge, charm and humor. Lots of interesting information and stops made the day a great experience that we will never forget. Thank you Dora for the great day!!

Spectacular and familiar meteora

A tour of 10. Despite being long, all day, the drivers were concerned about the comfort of the passengers. The food in a pleasant and cozy place. The super friendly guide. He explained the tour in an easy and enjoyable way, ensuring that you stayed with the information. We were able to take many photos. All perfect.

迎えの時間がやや遅れており、心配になりました。それ以外は、素晴らしいツアーでした。 ガイドはオーディオのみでなく、ガイドさんが口頭で様々な説明を行ってくれ楽しめました。 ランチもギリシャ料理をおいしくいただきました。

Audio guide can be used therefore excursion mainly in English, but magnificent excursion with a pleasant team

The guide was particularly friendly and passionate about her job. However, not speaking English very well, I took this excursion for its French audio guide in order to learn more historically. This one hasn't been used much. But that does not detract from the beauty of the excursion and the monasteries, and the stops of the driver and the guide which allowed for magnificent photos. The lunch restaurant was excellent and the van was very comfortable for the planned hours of travel. I enjoyed this day.

One step away from heaven

Places with spectacular and breathtaking views. Dora who accompanied us is equally spectacular and friendly. I recommend everyone, if traveling to Greece, to take this tour because it is interesting and exciting.

Vue à couper le souffle

Personnels très gentils et excursion incroyable. On a fait un arrêt pour dîner avec un excellent repas avec produits locaux. Très belle journée. Il faut par-contre dire que l'excursion dure 15hrs. au total.

Organisation décevante

Le site des Météores est vraiment très beau. Toutefois, l’organisation par le prestataire local n’était pas suffisamment rodée, et ne correspondait pas à la prestation vendue. Pas de communication concernant les différentes étapes de la journée repas du midi à 16h15 dans une autre ville que celle prévue, dans un restaurant en bord de route avec un choix de repas non traditionnel, un dessert dans une même assiette pour 4 personnes à partager avec d’autres personnes du bus. Pas de visite de Kalabaka, nous n’avons pas non plus admiré les grottes de l’Ermite. Malgré tout ça, l’accompagnateur et le chauffeur était sympathique et nous avons apprécié notre journée. S’agissant de viator, ils ne prennent pas leur responsabilités quant à la prestation qui ne correspond pas au contrat de vente initial.

物足りないわけでもなく、過剰でもなく、すごく丁度いいツアーでした！ビューポイントも何ヶ所か連れて行ってくれたので、良い景色をみることができました。 一つ問題があるとすれば、待ち合わせ場所が分かりづらかったので、もうちょっと細かく指示をしてくれると助かったと思いました。
