Goodness! What a treat. We had a fabulous driver (Val) and tour guide (Thenia). Our driver helped with a transport to other locations making sure we were on time. Our experience was top notch!

Val was an amazing driver and Theiai was a wonderful tour guide! This included lunch at a local restaurant and the food was very good. Greek salad is a must!! Highly recommend, it was well worth it!!

A flawless experience!

Val was so much fun, very knowledgeable, punctual, and kind. We called him again the next day to take us to our cruise ship because he was so amazing! The tour itself was great. We got to see everything we wanted to. Our tour guide Thenia was also amazing! She was patient with our slow walking pace and had so much information on the landmarks. The tavern we went to for lunch was tasty and authentic Greek food. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend this tour.

Experience of a Lifetime

First class tour guide, Dimitri. His knowledge and expertise enhanced the wonderful experience. The history, sites, people were special. The Greek lunch was beyond tasty!

Great itinerary but poor execution.

We were very disappointed when we were picked up to find out our guide had called in sick. Our driver Bill did an excellent job of providing us info on the Acropolis but would have been so much better with the guide. We did not get to see everything on the itinerary because of time constraints. We also only drove past some sites because we did not have a guide. Driver did an excellent job under the circumstances

Great time in Athens

We had a great time on our private tour in Athens---great guide-great transporation--new Mercedes--everything was organized and the food we had in the restaurant was outstanding- We had no waiting in line and everything went smoothly---- Thumbs up! Petros was our guide for the 6 hour private tour. His knowledge and insight into the history of Greece was exceptional. All questions were met with delightful answers. He even assist in locating a pharmacy item we needed. He made our day.

All inclusive Athens Half Day Private Luxury Tour

It was our first time going to Athens, booked this tour so we can get the most.Our deiver Andreas is the coolest, he gaves us not only the tour but also knows history. We have fun going to the acropolis, the archeological sites of the historical center of athens. Was able to witness changing of the guards from the Presidential Palace. Andteas also took is to what he called “ the balcony of athens” where ypu get to see the whole of athens. It was a very memorable and exciting day. We finished our tour with a 3 course lunch in a traditional greel restaurant, o ordered mousakas and my husband had the grillwd bass, we also tasted snail as appetizer. For me, this tput gaves us what we needed to see in Athens! Worth it to summarize.

Acropolis adventure

It was a unimaginable event. I never thought I would get to visit Greece. I felt luxurious in a Mercedes Benz. Our driver Petros was a 10. The tour guide for the Acropolis was very knowledgeable and nice but not very attentive. We would take photos in areas that we didn't have to worry about walking in a single file line. She would leave us behind when we wanted to take photos. The food was great!

Nikolas was a great guide...

Nikolas was a great guide ! We not only saw the most important sites, we learned history and culture. Comfortable, super clean car, water provided. Nickolas dropped us off at the end of the tour at a fabulous local restaurant - some of the best food we had in Athens.

A "must" for first time travelers with limited time in Athens

Wonderful tour for first time visitors to Greece! Our tour guide, Andreas, was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He was able to answer all of our questions, and also share a bit about himself and his life story with us, giving us some true insight into the Greek culture and family life.

Met our expectations and would recommend to anyone

We only had a half day and this was the perfect amount of time to have a private tour of the Olympic stadium, temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Acropolis. Demetrius was very informative and gave us a great recommendation for lunch at Savvas and modified our tour per our request. Betty was very sweet and a great tour guide of the Acropolis. Awesome time.

Our guide Mike was awesome. He was very professional in his manners, attire and knowledge. He gave us a first class tour of Athens, took great care of us, he was available the entire time and gave us a sense of security that we are getting the best service possible. He has extensive knowledge and answered all our questions. His driving was safe and impeccable and ensured we are comfortable in the vehicle. We highly recommend Mike and commend his for representing your company for this type of service.

Was expecting our guide to accompany us at the historic sites, but instead he just dropped us off, to fend for ourselves

If you need a person to drive you around Athens in a luxury car without accompanying you at any of the archeological sites, then this tour is for you. We felt a bit lost at the sites… alone. Listening to other tour guides giving a history lesson… but out just dropped us off and picked us up at the ddciddd time. He was very nice. But was expecting more for the $200 per person!!! This was literally a car service, with a bit of history lesson while driving.

Last minute disappointment

Our driver was knowledgeable but but but out tour person didn't show up, last minute notice. I paid for the works ($888) but I didn't get the works. Nevertheless, I'm in town for a short time only and wanted to see it all only to my disappointment. I paid a lot of money but only got a hundred dollar back I received midway through our tour. What about the rest of expenses such as unused skip the line tour tickets we didn't use and I only received a hundred Euro dollars back, I should of received more of a refund for not having a tour guide and their unused tickets value.

Great Tour!

Dimitri was amazing- very knowledgeable on all the sites/history and gave great details, so we didn’t feel left out from the tour groups. We had a wonderful day and he made it so easy to see a lot of sites! We expected to follow the sample itinerary on the listing, but we didn’t, which is fine! We still had a wonderful day and would recommend this personalized tour to everyone. The car was comfortable and air conditioned which made the trip effortless.

Well worth it - book now

Petros was an amazing driver. Great knowledge of local culture and history, safe driver, got us everywhere on time and had us see everything that we wanted. Would rate this 100+/10 - absolutely awesome!!

Acropolis/Athens tour

The visit to the Acropolis was amazing! It was worth booking a tour to have “skip the line” tickets. Walking up to the Acropolis is a little difficult but doable. We are in our mid 70’s but with our granddaughters “spotting” us and a collapsible hiking stick we were able to maneuver the trek up and back down. Be very aware of uneven steps and slippery marble paths. Our tour guide was good but maybe too detailed in information re dates, etc. We could have benefited with headphones to hear her presentation. It was very hot (very little shade) and noisy with all the visitors and tour groups. I didn’t realize that she did just the tour of the Acropolis. Our van driver, Spiros, was awesome and accommodating in driving us around Athens and stopping at a couple of other sites and a restaurant for lunch. We were returned to the ship in plenty of time.

Fully incisive with Dem is the way to go

Dem, our tour guide, was awesome! This tour was exactly what we wanted! Private, comfortable vehicle. Dem explained the sights and kept it interesting! He took us to meet Ava, our private guide for the Acropolis. She guided us around explaining all of the history and showing us the best spots for photos! The lunch was fantastic! So much food... even our picky teen enjoyed lunch! Dem took us to an adorable little shop to get delicious baklava and Gelato before shopping too! It was a perfect way to explore Acropolis area!

The best Athens experience

This was the best value for our travel budget ever. Athens is awesome - but what truly made this tour great was our guide. Our guide - Vasilis - was what made this tour great. He was the reason this was 5 stars as he listened to our wants and needs and adjusted accordingly. If you get this tour - request Vasilis. Trust me!

I paid $675.00 for this...

I paid $675.00 for this trip. Didn't reali3 that you have to pay for transportation 160.00 euro on top of that. What is $675.00 for when you advertised transportation and tickets. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to snyone

We had Andreas and he was awesome! He took a lot of time making our trip memorable and educational. We had a private tour, which is a great option if you have a larger group.

Best day in Athens

This was easily one of the best shore excursions we have done - EVER! Yannis was our driver for the day and he went above and beyond to show us the best parts of Athens and make sure we had what we needed. He took us to the yummiest restaurant for lunch and even allowed extra time for us to shop at the end of the day. Would highly recommend this experience!

Money well spent

Our driver, Dimitris was wonderful and a fount of knowledge AND very interesting. I had a hard time walking because of a foot injury but Dimitris tried to be as accommodating as possible and it was appreciated. My GF and I enjoyed the entire tour and all the history we learned that day. My only suggestion for anyone is to book a tour (wherever) and take advantage of the "book now, pay later" option. Thankfully I was able to go on this tour because our other Viator tour three days prior we missed because of my cruise ship injury and not being able to cancel it in time.

Would do a different tour if we had it to do over again

We thought we were getting a private tour, but we were informed that we got a private driver with a pre-determined agenda. Our driver was very kind and gracious, he even flipped the tour to help decrease the crowds at the Acropolis. But we spent so much time driving around the city, in traffic, around and around. When we saw the gardens, we weren’t allowed to stop, when asked to stick out feet in the ocean, we passed many Sandy beaches and ended up at one full of rocks. It wasn’t awful, he just didn’t want to depart from his schedule to taylor it to our interests.

Our driver Nicholas Orlando made this a perfect day. A true professional.

Excellent private tour by Demetri!

This private tour really exceeded all of our expectations …. Demetri was so engaging & very knowledgeable; and he made this Athens tour FUN for us as well! From our hotel pick-up in the Plaka, to the Olympic Stadium, and then onto the Changing of the Guard in front of the Greek Parliament, Demetri gave us so much history and information about everything we passed along the way. It was great to understand all about the Guards (their uniform and why they “walked” the way they do) before we actually saw them. As we were driving around, Demetri would point out so many historic places. Then we were off to the Acropolis …. Wow, it was just incredible …. Our private guide there was excellent, and we loved that she allowed us to take as much time as we needed to see everything, Then we met up with Demetri again. And before lunch, we went shopping in the Plaka section, adjacent to the Acropolis …. Lastly we drove to a wonderful restaurant down near the sea, Koutouki Kalypso; the food was phenomenal, and everything was absolutely delicious …. the Greek people serve so much food; sadly we couldn’t finish it all! This tour was a highlight of our time in Athens ……… be sure to sign up for this tour; hopefully you be lucky and meet Demetri!!

Best way to see Athens!

This is the way to see all the top sights in Athens when crunched for time. We never could have seen all these sights on our own without days to do it. Andreas was the best! Answered all our questions, accommodated our schedule when it took longer at the Acropolis

Good experience

This was a great experience overall.. The destinations were spot on, the restaurant for lunch was excellent. Ellis was outstanding, professional, kind, and the customer service was excellent. The only thing I would say was a little disappointing we thought our tour guide would be with us walking us through some of the exhibits to explain as we were going along and that did not happen other than that everything was wonderful..

I second what another reviewer said about Yannis. We absolutely adored him. He was so knowledgeable, patient and kind. Yannis told us so much history about Athens and Greece in general. My daughter has a condition that we didn’t realize was going to wipe her out after trucking up to Acropolis…Yannis was so considerate and kind at helping us figure out what we could do next to help her relax and recover. He adjusted our schedule so we could do things that would be more accommodating to her. Our lunch with Yannis was full of story sharing, history, and personal connection that truly made this tour a private and special event for us. I would recommend this Tour to everyone

Tour was great and Yannis made us feel at home!!

The tour was just the right amount of activity by keeping us busy and allowing us freedom to flex the schedule. We absolutely loved Yannis. He was very informative about the city, it’s history including ancient times, and answered any and all of our questions. He was patient when my daughter wasn’t feeling good and improvised with our schedule to do things that would be better for her. Lunch was delicious. I would recommend this to all my friends!
