Good value for money

Good value for money. Michaela our tour guide was nice and informative. Our bus driver Vangelis was a good driver. The audio/video device provided ,as the tour guide does not guide you through the archeological site nor the museum, was good but like any device you cannot really see the virtual reality video playing in such glare and sun. We stopped on the outskirts of Arachova for snacks and not in the main village as the main village has very narrow streets. The museum was good. The town of Delphi where we stopped for lunch was nice.

Great tour

Our tour guide Michaela is very thoughtful and nice. Send several reminders before the tour and even called me when I went to a different pickup point. The day is well planned. Have enough time to see everything in Delphi plus a few other nice stops. The bus is like new with very good air conditioning. Feel very comfortable in an extremely hot day. For my trip, there is only 11 people. Maybe I am lucky. Much better than I expected. Perfect day. Thanks!

VR Video Tour

The trip to Delphi was wonderful. However had problems with the V.R. Audio did not work well. Finally gave up on it and just read the information that was provided. The museum is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful statues and artifacts.

The tour was a positive experience. Nice guide and driver, comfortable bus and Motorola virtual tour devices worked.

We were on a large bus with AC. Clean and comfortable. Guide was very nice. Provided some insight during trip. Devices for virtual tour worked adequately in the glaring sun. Everything worked well and the tour provided value for the price.

Where the ancient gods would hang out.

First time into the mountains of Greece for us and well worth the long bus ride. The small mountain towns and the vistas were breath taking and the ancient archeological sites warranted all the claims from today and history. Of course, the gods would visit here.

Day trip to Delphi

Great trip to Delphi, Maria was a amazing guide, Friendly and helpful. Great memories, Excellent food , inspiring history made this a day to remember.

Stones and Vistas

Fantastic day trip. The ruins were really nice and it was fun to see the VR representation of old delphi. We had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Ionian sea which was a perfect view. Our guide Michela was very knowledgeable!

Self guided tour for those who don't like being bunched up

I appreciated having a self guided tour through the archeological site and our guide keeping everything running on time. The device they provide you does an OK job - the 3D reconstruction of the site wasn't aligned to where I would stand and it was hard to tell where exactly you should stand. The audio portion does a better job and even when it's off, it's easy to start it at the point of interest. But, I'd take that over 40+ people cramped around a guide trying to hear. Also, this tour stops at the temple of Athena that's right before Delphi on the way back. It's free. We stopped in Delphi to eat. If you have an hour+, go to PHIVOS Restaurant - Εστιατόριο ΦΟΙΒΟΣ. They have a balcony with views and great food considering the tourism.

Amazing!

Definitely worth it! Michaela the tour leader and Dimitri the driver were both lovely. Delphi was incredible and the VR audio really added to the experience. Highly recommend :)

Long day

The site was very nice. The vr device kept stopping and starting. The tour summary said the group would be no more than 24 people but we had about double that.

Perfect day at Delphi

The perfect way to see Delphi and the surrounding areas! The bus was comfortable, our host friendly and knowledgeable and the stops were long enough to see everything.

Lovely

The whole journey to and from Delphi was relaxed and easy going. There was a stop for coffee/WC/snacks at a lovely café before heading to the 2 main stops. I would've preferred another half hour at the Delphi villas but all in all it was still a great day. I loved that we had a few minutes at the end to take extra photos from a beautiful viewpoint.

Perfect way to experience Delphi

This was a full day experience well orchestrated including time at the main site, a lunch visit in the town of Delphi and a few other scenic stops along the way.. This is an extraordinary place to visit and our guide and drive kept us on a perfect schedule for a memorable day.

Brilliant tour of Delphi

The location was excellent and views were spectacular. Tour guides Michaela and Maria were excellent. Driver Varghalis was driving smoothly and carefully.

Maybe I'm just not used to guided tours.

Guide was amazing. But bus was very slow and the technology didn't work for most people. Delphi is beautiful, and worth a visit.

Angry and frustated

I was hoping that the guide would give us more information about how the tour would develop, we arrived at the archaeological zone of Delphi and he told us that we had 2.5 hours, we ran to see the area, we went to see the temple of Athena and we returned to the museum, which We will see through the photos we took, everything in 2.5 hours, the phone is useless, maybe there could be some more information there, in short it could be something good if they took care of those details, but for all of us who went it was frustrating

A perfect day

Booked this experience at the last minute due to some change In plans and I was not disappointed!! I went on the 2nd of April and had Thanos as our guide - He and our driver (whose name I sadly cannot remember, I'm sorry!!) were both really welcoming and kind and helped make the trip as great as it was. The site of Delphi is absolutely incredible and should not be missed under any circumstances and the village of Delphi offers some very beautiful views in idyllic surroundings. A great place for some lunch after an afternoon of travelling and exploring. All of the stops on the tour is self-guided, Thanos gave us really fascinating information and stories about the area and sights on the way which just added to the excitement of the whole experience. Thanks a ton for an amazing day, I'll be booking with you again next time I come to Athens for sure.

A good trip. The VR bit...

A good trip. The VR bit of it is nice for the main site but a bit limited. Guide was pleasant but not so engaging as some others we had and had to focus more on managing the group. Quite a lot of time in the bus but worth it for the site at Delphi. Lunch in Delphi village was a bit underwhelming; it might have been more interesting to stop in Arachova for the lunch break instead of a 5 minute photo opportunity outside the town.

Do not miss out on seeing Delphi!

We had an amazing time seeing what was once considered to be the center of the earth, and would highly recommend using Sights of Athens to do it. Joanna our tour guide was a doll, she explained so much of the history of Greece and Greek mythology throughout the drive and during the trip which helped prepare us for what we were about to encounter. The ruins were incredible and the virtual guide explained everything every step of the way.

You should definitely visit Delphi, when in Athens. This tour was very good arranged and worth of money. Guide was very nice and professional.

Worth it and inspiring

I’d always wanted to go to Delphi but wasn’t sure if I should hired a car or trip public transport. In the end I went for this tour and was really so pleasantly surprised. Frst of all, the place is magic, mystical and stunning.. the ruins agaisndt the mountain backdrop are increíble. the company and tour weee so nice and professional and friendly it was a great day out with careful planning but also plenty of time to explore for yourself the 3D reconstruction they had also were so helpful and fantastic quality. . I’d definitely recommend it! They were great!

Magic and lovely experience at Delphi with Sights of Athens

I must express how fantastic was my experience with this company. In first place, they respond my WhatsApp messages very very soon, and answered all my questions patiently and clearly. In second place, I want to express how wonderful was Daphne, the guide who share the whole day with us from the morning till the night. She is a nice and kind person, very dedicated to her job and implicated with his national culture and history. Her English is totally fluent and clear. About the trip, the bus was clean and comfortable in every aspect. The company also provide us tablets to improve the experience in Delphi (The Apollon Temple). They have the best compared with the rest of agencies. I totally recommend Sights of Athens for any tour, day trip or plan in Greece, they have the "know how" and they simplify our plans!

The views were amaizing. It was a really nice experience, would recomend the visit to anyone who visits Athens. Nevertheless, the VR guide was not so good. The guide was very nice and share with us some greek myths on our bus trip.

Wonderful, relaxed outing

Really enjoyed that we were given 2.5 hours at Delphi (archeological site & museum) and were given free reign on how we wanted to spend our time. Having a V.R. guide via tablet was also really nice. We could listen/explore the ruins at our own pace (with several breaks) and take in the amazing views without feeling rushed. The stops along the way were also stunning. Highly recommend for a stress-free excursion!

Amazing trip back to history with modern technology

The trip was amazing. We learned a lot and took so many photos. The scheduled time was about right. The bus was comfortable. The guide Daphnie was very very professional and knowledgeable. She was very passion about the history and Greece.

Girls trip to Delphi

Five of us booked this tour during our stay in Athens. Daphne reached out the day before and confirmed the pick up spot and time. She was very punctual and great to work with. Her driver was also great as well ! One of our friends had a rough start to the day and Daphne offered her water and did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable. She was knowledgeable and a pleasure to have as a tour guide 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing for one day of ancient history!

This was the best tour we've been in very long time! The place and the views where amazing, the timing of the visits and the explanation where perfect! It might seems a bit long, but is just perfect, and you have plenty of time to do everything,and you just don't get bored! The audio guided are with tablets, very useful, you could see and listen where you were and how it was on the old days. Just to improve it, I will put subtitles for deaf people. Also the gide was so kind and well explained, and all the time check if we were ok. She even gave us a resume of the explanation, so thoughtful! I will recommend every one this trip, just not for the wheelchair users, it's not very well adapted for them.

Great experience

Dafni was our tour guide. She was amazing. She knew her history well and had very good sense of humour. Whole experience was great. The VR guide added an interesting addition to the trip. What I would suggest is carry your own iPad or any other tablet with your own headsets and if you have wireless it would be an exciting experience.

Beautiful day trip in Delphi

Amazing day trip to Delphi, a must to do when in Athens. The day trip is super smooth, with all the necessary information you need to explore the sites, all well-managed by the guide. Lovely day spent!

Laid back trip

Daphne was a very sweet and attentive tour guide, and Manolis was a very smooth and cautious driver! Great way to get out of the city. My one concern was the time at the site and museum was way too long, as three hours was way too much time and most of the group was sitting outside after two hours. Wish we could have explored the city you pass through before entering the site. All in all was a great day!

Best day trip from Athens to the “Centre of the World” - Delphi

Very well organized trip and our guide Daphne made it very informative and pleasant. We really enjoyed it. The site in Delphi is quite amazing and the VR device made it a truly exciting experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Delphi ( and the stops to Arachova and the lunch break in Delphi village)!
