This was an amazing experience! Our tour operator made it very easy by sending us our tickets to the Acropolis. Seeing this archeological site in person was a once in a lifetime experience.

Must-have Ticket

Very useful ticket, very easy to use - it looks like most people accessing the sites had the same one. You receive the actual ticket 24 hours before your booking, so you may have already traveled to Athens by the time you get them. The sites are all incredibly interesting - the Acropolis and the Agora especially.

Rip off

The ticket expired without use! Only gave 1.5 days to use. Buy at places not here. Waste of money,......

Had a wonderful visit visited all the major sites walked a tour of the city stayed at acropolis hill hotel situated perfectly ate in a few restaurants all great food the combo ticket was a great way to sort out all the antiquity areas

Quick, easy combo ticket

I purchased the combo ticket to avoid queueing in the ticket line as well as the entrance line at the Acropolis. I visited in July during the heat wave and early closures. You pay a little extra for this ticket (it's €30 at the office) but it was worth the extra for me (less time in the queue as they closed the site at ~12pm that day). Very straightforward to use, excellent value as I attended almost every site during my stay with the ticket.

Amazing trip!

The best day we’ve had yet outside of Athens! The crew was amazing. Very informative and attentive. The lunch was very good and drinks were even better! We only got a little over an hour on each island but the crew told us the best things to do to make the most of our time. Hassan was personally our favorite! We would do it again if we had more time!

Sites good, lack of audio guides

There was no issue with any of the sites and getting in, but not one of the sites offered the free audio guide when you scanned in not was there information where to gain the audio guides

Convinient multiple entry ticket

This is an excellent way to save money and time. We avoided the queues at the entrance of all sights. It would have been helpful though to receive the tickets on the first instance - instead of vouchers that needed to be redeemed. The Viator operators were always prompt with answering our calls and queries all the time. The audio guided tour app worked well - though the narration could be improved as the information could be confussing many times.

Totally fouled up

The voucher with actual tickets was not sent. I called Clio Muse and they had no record of our confirmation number. Fortunately, we found a tour guide on site and she was excellent. Viator fouled up this reservation and the least I expect is a refund.

Good value just be ready for crowds

It was very crowded at the Acropolis even though they try to manage the influx of people, it was over crowded. The value of the ticket was good, just not thrilled that the time I booked and they confirmed was not honored. I think that was due to the cruise ships being in Port. I booked the earliest entrance and they made me change it to a later time 2 days before.

Great History

Combo Ticket: Acropolis and 6 Sites with English Self Audio Guide was ok. The only thing you skipped was the ticket line. There was no actual skip the line entrance. The price of this 6 site’s ticket might be good if you have enough time to visit all of them. The Acropolis and Parthenon was fantastic to see.

Confusing

Togetherness created by trying to figure out where to go and where to look as the audio was explaining was priceless.

Easy to use and great value

This could not have been easier to use. The tickets were sent directly to my email (no voucher exchange necessary), and the customer service team was very responsive. The time slot you are asked to select while buying is for the acropolis. Although the date can't be changed at the time of purchasing, customer service was able to change my date and re-issue the tickets since I planned on visiting after the first day of use. The audio guides made the visits much more impactful and were easy to use. I found I had to start the tour when I had internet access and then continue at the site. You are not able to enter the code to start when you don't have internet access, even after you download it.

Poor

I have booked numerous tours/excursions through Viator for our trip to Europe, so far all of them have went without a hitch, but this one is a cluster! The tickets we booked were for visits to 7 archeological sites OVER 5 consecutive days After queuing for 20 minutes under the hot sun to get entry to Acropolis, we were refused entry. We were told our tickets have expired. We booked tickets to commence on 20 September 2023 as that would be the day we arrived into Athens and as we did not receive electronic tickets via email 24 hours before dart of travel we did not notice that electronic ticket indicated expiry date as 20 September mins you ticket was over 5 days. After much argument with attendant at entrance we were told to go to ticket office to see if problem could be rectified- another queue we thought we had issue resolved at ticket office as we understood it. All good to go just go back to entrance. Another queue for 30 minutes we went the the same problem this time we were told we had to visit Acropolis firsts for tickets to work and as we had visited the Agora the day before tickets no later valid. There is nowhere on website when we booked ticket to say that Acropolis has to be first. Neither was there an option to select a suitable time window to visit Acropolis It simply said tickets will be email 24 hours prior This has been very frustrating and a waste of a day for us and stressful Viator could do better and we request a refund

Terrible audio

Terrible audio … not worth paying for this. We ended up not even using it, it was so bad. My advice is just buy the ticket to entry at the acropolis.

Great place, but long lines as the skip the line didn't work that day along with all the other people visiting.

The Viator Team were great. But with the changing of all the systems for the Acropolis it did not work out on the day. We got our pass but it had the incorrect code on it so had to line up for 3 hours with everyone else in the same boat. We then didn't get entry to all the sites due to system not working and the skip the line didn't work. Viator did what they could which we appreciate. Thank you.

SKIP THOSE LINES!

We decided instead of the usual guided tour, to hire a private driver. What a great day this turned out to be. He paced it so we were not rushed, and when we arrived, just scanned our tickets and in we went!

Disappointed but worth buying

Convenient and easy way to access several of the must see Athens historic sites; however, the self-guided tour left much to be desired. Very difficult to follow along.

Fantastic day

The sites were incredible to see in person. The ticket pdf on my phone has worked perfectly at each of the locations. Customer service has been quick to respond with the questions I had.

Very disappointing!! 2nd time using Viator and it is now the last time!

Terrible waste of money!! No need to skip the line, there were no lines and it’s the middle of July! What a scam you can buy all seven at the ticket booth at the bottom of the acropolis for $30Euro.

Tickets did not arrive

We got a refund for this trip because we did not receive the tickets from the local tour operator. We have loved our Viator tours, but this one requires not a voucher from them, but a special ticket from a local tour operator. Unfortunately, that local ticket did not arrive and we had to purchase new tickets on the spot in cash at the Acropolis. Thank you to Viator for refunding our money but make sure you carry cash just in case you don’t have the right documentation. Also, make sure you go to the ticket booth before you get in the main entrance line.

Great Key Site option around Athens.

Great way to see key attractions around Athens. Acropolis in the morning is very hectic and EVERYONE has the skip the line pass so didn't really save any time. I recommend going up later in the afternoon evening after the morning rush. We loved all of the sights. No issues getting in with the digital tickets.

Great way to see Athens!

We had a private driver for the day in a beautiful Mercedes and were able to see all the sites we wanted while also having flexibility based on our timing for the day since we were visiting from a cruise ship. Our driver Makis, was absolutely fantastic. It was he who made the day inviting....very knowledgable and giving us history while also making it fun with anecdotes and some of the more personalized info on Athens. Professional taxi company and employees...I would highly recommend this tour and this company for your travel or taxi needs!!!

Great value especially on a busy day

Wasn’t offered the audio tours at any of the locations but the ability to skip the line was fantastic, especially as the acropolis was pretty busy the day we visited. Great value being able to see so many places with just one ticket. Didn’t really need the skip the line part anywhere other than the acropolis and ancient agora, which were quite busy

Don’t buy this “deal”

This was a scam. The audio didn’t work through the app and then I noticed that you can actually buy the package of sites at any site for 30 €. Do not recommend

Just wait and buy the ticket there

It was impossible to access the ticket. We tried multiple times and called the number listed but it didn’t work and we were charged international phone call rates in an attempt to figure out the issue. The issue was not resolved.

Use the provided audio tour!

This purchase was so much more than just the tickets. It was convenient that we were able to go and see everything we wanted to see with on ticket. My favorite part was the addition of the KeyTours app audio tour. My husband and I shared a pair of air pods and opened the app. The locator setting allowed the app to know where we were at each attraction and automatically started the audio tour as we walked to the marked attractions. We did not even have to have our phones out or do anything on the app. It was so fun to walk around and suddenly have a little song play followed by information about the stop at the attraction. If you want to save money on a tour guide i highly recommend this!

Great to skip the line and see multiple sites, but never figured out the audio. Pros: skipping the line before everyone was great. The pdf ticket gives you access to multiple sites around Athens. Cons: never figured out the audio and instructions weren’t totally intuitive Recommendation: review communication I would totally buy this again, despite not having the audio skipping the line and being able to see multiple sites made this vacation awesome.

Acropolis

It was far superior than my expectations. It was also much less strenuous to climb the hill to the Acropolis. So much history! Absolutely amazing!

Very convenient!

This pass is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Athens! It was my first time in Greece and I just wanted to explore at my leisure, and this pass was perfect as I could do what I wanted, when I wanted. The pass is good for 5 days! It also helps that it paid for itself after 3 entries to places.

Perfect ticket

Very good tickets. Don't have to stand in the long queue. Quick access to landmark. Good service and communication from ticket office.

7 must see sites pass for 5 days

Easy to use the multi sites pass. Pass is good fir 5 days. You can visit each sites according to your staying schedules. Audio tour is especially helpful

Never received QR codes for admission

I was not able to use the passes I bought. There was not a QR code sent. Even after I called Viator and was sent the pdfs again they did not have a QR code. Only wording. So we were unable to go to the top of the Acropolis because it was a 2 hour wait for tickets.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

This was a terrible experience. If we were to meet a guide there was no signage. The "skip the line" line was over a two hour wait and after checking at the beginning of the line with our pass in hand we were directed past hundreds of people to the end of the line. In the process of leaving the site there was a gal that offered fast entrance and a 40 minute personal tour for $40.... We jumped on this. We ended up only at the Acropolis as the Hop on Hop off bid was also a joke as compared to London.

Wasted $

Wasted my $ ….. not needed in March …. No lines at Acropolis or any other site. Just buy the tix when you get to site or they have a 7 site package when u buy ur tix.

A brilliant experience

Great place to visit, skip the quee worked realy well. Very intresting to see the restoration work being undertaken. One place you have to see close up when you come to Athens.

Worked well

Tickets worked perfectly. Was a little disappointed when I found out you can buy the exact same tickets at any of the site locations for 30 Euros. The skip the line part is actually skipping the ticket buying process. The sites were awesome so its all good.

Easy to use, may not be necessary

The download was easy and tickets I bought were accepted without any fuss. Our tour guide mentioned that it wouldn't have been necessary to do this as we wouldn't visit all the attractions. Anyway, there weren't queues for tickets so it's best to check with the hotel reception.

Just walked up scanned my ticket on my phone and I was in. Make sure your phone is set on the brightest setting for an easier time having your ticket scanned

Terrible Experience

Requested multi pass ticket but on only received Acropolis tickets. Communications not responded to.

Awesome

Easy access to all the sites where tickets were required. It was worth it after seeing the lines and given that this was august (heat, hot, heat).

Run from these clowns - They are Rip-Off artists!

Run as fast and as far as you can from these guys. They completely ripped me off. I got zero benefit and quite a bit of aggravation when I found the “tickets” I bought were some phony scam to just take my money and leave me completely screwed at the gate. I called the only phone number I had on paperwork and it was some other company who had no idea what Viator was or how to reach them for help. I begged the manager to please check and he basically said he couldn’t do anything and disconnected the call, leaving us in 90+ degree weather at a remote location we thought we had access too… We were forced to buy another set of tickets - and for much less money than these con men charged. I disputed the bill and asked for a refund. They are now claiming that the tickets were delivered, which is an absolute lie. I intend to reach out to Trip Advisor and the Greek Department of Tourism to let them know that I was ripped off by Viator and that they should not give these folks the privilege of presenting themselves as someone reputable or trustworthy with tourists. Choose anyone but these fools for your tourist needs. They ripped me off unapologetically. Don’t make the same mistake.

Money-saver

Saved a lot of money by buying this ticket! Each archeological site was about €10 each. Very easy to use, you don’t have to queue up in the heat to get your tickets, and it’s paperless too.

Most convenient!

Hassle free!!! Walked right upto the entrance and went in without having to queue uppp. Ensure you have your vouchers ready on the day of your visit.

Visiting the Acropolis it is just amazing. Skip the line was a real bonus as we went in using the South West gate

Tickets not sent

Tickets were not e-mailed to us 24 hours before as advised. Spent 30 minutes at the 1st attraction having to contact Viator agent to get the tickets sent through. Once we actually had the tickets, worked as expected. Also, there are no fast track queues at the attractions - you just Donna have to queue to buy a ticket.

Also hire an audio guide

For a better experience I would recommend hiring an audio guide or going historically-prepared so that you’re able to really get the sense of what you’re seeing
